Lovely warm welcome on our arrival. Spotlessly clean, comfortbale bed, very peaceful. Friendly, attentive staff and a delicious breakfast. Excellent value for money. Thank you for our stay. We will definitely stay again soon.

The location is excellent, just a short walk downhill to the seafront and the main area of Rhos On Sea. The room was clean and comfortable. Hostess Sandy was lovely and very accommodating and breakfast was well cooked 👍

The pillows on the bed were a bit flat for my liking.

The room was tired and could benefit from modernisation. There was paint peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom and some mould around the tiled area of the bathroom.

Walking distance from the beach in Rhos-on-Sea. Beautiful walk to St Trillo’s chapel. Ample free street parking. Good restaurants and coffee shops. Try Mythos🩵

The included breakfast is tasteless with use of steam instead of frying.

We waren op doorreis met 3 volwassenen, 1 nacht gebleven. Ietwat verouderd pand dat enig onderhoud kan gebruiken maar alles was verder netjes. Vriendelijke eigenaren die ongevraagd met hun eigen auto er voor zorgden dat onze motoren niet gestolen konden worden (als blokkade in de inrit gezet) Prima ontbijt, mooie lokatie vlakbij de zee. Prijs / prestatie is in orde.

Room absolutely perfect, for any person a wheelchair user or any person with a disability would be able to manage. One little thing, we have a friend with an illness that means he isn't ready to be moved assisted into breakfast, could the carer take breakfast into the disabled person? The Reception Greetings were excellent and all facilities perfectly clean. The bed so comfortable.

We liked everything about our stay. Nice room and facilities. Good full breakfast each day (cooked in a steamer so we felt we were being healthy too!) Short stroll to the beach and the bus stop for trips out of Rhos.

Superlieve gastvrouw, heeft ons goed geholpen. Omdat we vroeg moesten vertrekken, kregen we een heerlijk ontbijt met extra lekkernijen mee. Een hele verrassing!

The room designed for disabilities was great. Ground floor, big wet room for showering and no trip hazards. Dog friendly was a bonus, comfortable bed, and lovely linen. Breakfast was delicious.

This is a very pleasant and comfortable venue that I have returned to many times; David and Sandy are good hosts offering value accommodation in a convenient location. More details of the Northwood are in previous reviews, and it can certainly be recommended for solo travellers.

Everything was provided for an enjoyable and relaxed stay in one of the most attractive areas on the North Wales coast.

The owners of the Northwood Hotel were extremely friendly, interesting people who provided huge amounts of local knowledge, maps, attraction details and guidance and are committed to providing a good experience for their guests. It is an interesting old building which appeared to have been modernised to some extent some time ago and is in need of redecoration but this did not affect the comfort and functionality of all the facilities. We would return because it is fairly priced and the location is ideal in terms of access to the beach and local restaurants.

Although the range of breakfast items was large, some of the cooked items were under or overdone and cold which was surprising as there was only one other guest on each of the mornings we were there.

Clean and comfortable. Met on arrival and shown to our room. Drinking facilities provided with proper mugs and some biscuits (thank you!) nice large breakfast room with a lovely breakfast and advice on where to go that day if we had no plans.

Room was very warm even when opening the window. However it was exceptionally hot outside and we should probably have asked for a fan

The room was spacious and clean. They also provided toiletries , which were really useful. The breakfast in the morning was also very delicious. The hotel has streets parking as a well as off street parking. The plays is also very close to the beach , which was not very crowded.

A couple of mins walk to a lovely beach, quiet side street location. Room was clean, large bathroom.

It would have been useful to have a mirror in the room. Yogurt, fruit, no sugar cereal would be a good addition to the breakfast menu.

Location excellent, surrounded by lovely well kept leafy gardens. As a bonus you could smell the sea, Rhos is a beautiful little town with an excellent atmosphere. The accommodation fulfilled all our needs.

My room was large, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a nice big bathroom. A pleasant space! More than happy to return - and the price point was good. Breakfast was fast and tasty.

The external decor and downstairs was a little dated, but the rooms were great.

Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were very welcoming. They asked us what we were looking for in our stay and gave us some tips on where to visit which turned out to be very interesting places for us.

The noise from the seagulls could’ve been toned down a bit but nobody’s able to do that 🤣

The host was very pleasant, and the breakfast was made to order. Nice location. We had a double and single bed, both were comfortable, and the private bathroom was large.

This could be difficult for people who have trouble with steps, as the stairs to the room were fairly steep.

Value for money, hosts were friendly and welcoming, room was fresh and clean, well stocked hospitality tray, very dog friendly I had 2 with me and it wasn’t a problem I was even given sausages for them at breakfast

The B & B was perfect for us. very basic but thats all we needed. the owners are very friendly and it is central to where we needed to be. we got bacon butties to take away which they were very accommodating for us.

disapointed sat at breakfast owner decided to sit down and talk to only other couple that was there. ignoring the fact we had toast left but no tea bit disrespectful we thought so got up and walked out not very freindly to us even though we was only there for 1 night maybe

Very tired, needs completely modernising, it isnt mentioned that dogs have to stay in the room while you go downstairs to eat ! The gentleman was very chatty and friendly the lady not so much.

It was near the sea. The breakfast was quite good.

Shower regulator didn't work so the water went from freezing cold to scolding , very dangerous for adults, extremely dangerous for kids. The whole property was tired looking The noise of the pipes in the building when other rooms were flushing the toilet or running water was very loud.

Nice B+B, good location for travelling by buses as there are bus stops nearby for Llandudno and Colywn Bay, Rhyl. Enjoyed their English breakfast cooked from their steam oven - less greasy

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The comfort of the bed and towels. The rooms were as warm as we wanted them to be. Drink making facilities with a pack of biscuits which were replenished each day. Nice choice of breakfast.

The TV didn't work effectively although this was addressed with the owners. I was able to use my smart phone to access player. 2 comfy chairs would have been nice instead of the 2 that were provided.

Another convenient one-night stay in this well appointed and centrally located property in North Wales, with a comfortable room, good breakfast and reliable Wi-fi. Always a warm welcome, and the area is attractive and peaceful.

This place is a hidden gem 💎. The owners go out there way to make sure everything is perfect for you. Breakfast is amazing and always a friendly chat. Parking is also available. Hotel is located just a short walk from the beach. 100% recommend.

The only dislike I had was I have to return home. As my holiday was over.

Very warm and cosy room, slept like a log. Short walk down the road to shops and the sea front.

If I have to have to have a didn't like, it would have to be that I wasn't keen on was the chair in the room, was a bit low and it wasn't comfy if sat on it for too long.

The location and the road to park outside the property were outstanding.

The bed was like sleeping on a wooden table. The Flatscreen tv was shocking, my phone had a bigger screen. I was told about a tv room when I was checking out. David was a better host. But his wife didn’t tell me anything about the property or the area.

The shower was the only downfall. It varied between freezing to boiling and then somewhere in between. That was the only negative- everything else was great!

Fantastic location and the owners were amazing!! Fresh, clean room which was very comfortable. I was even allowed to park my work van on the drive which made me feel more comfortable as it has my tools on. And to top it off the breakfast was amazing where I had a good chat with David. I will definitely be staying here again.
