Reviewed Mar 29, 2026The staff was very nice and very good. Opened breakfast 15 minutes early so we could have breakfast before leaving to catch our flight. Very nice and helpful.
Steps to get in then steps to get to the ground floor. Made luggage handling difficult. No AC so you open the window to cool the room down. There was noise going on nearby that kept us up later than intended. Room was very small and very plain. No plugs near the bed so charging our phones that we use for our alarms was across the room.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Excepcionalmente acolhedora(principalmente a funcionária EVELINE) que além de simpática foi muito competente e nos recebeu muito bem! Na recepção tem água à disposição e frutas, café expresso mediante pagamento. O hotel tem instalações sóbrias mas muito boas e limpas. Estacionamento em frente. Não hesite em escolhê-lo. Não tem más surpresas.
Café da manhã muito simples, não condiz com o hotel que é muito bom.

Rooms were a little small and breakfast very basic (but it’s like that everywhere!). Make sure to ask the staff how to turn off the heater before going to sleep because we woke up in sweat.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025Me alojé en el Hotel Martín Gusinde en Puerto Natales y fue una experiencia excelente. Es un hotel sencillo, pero muy limpio. Las camas son muy cómodas, con sábanas blancas impecables, y el baño está remodelado, moderno, con una ducha fantástica. La calefacción es realmente buena, algo muy importante en esta zona. La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de Natales, lo que facilita mucho moverse a pie por la ciudad. El desayuno es sencillo pero muy rico, ideal para comenzar el día. La relación precio–calidad me pareció excelente, pero lo que más destaco es la atención: un 10. El personal es extremadamente amable y atento, lo que hace que uno se sienta muy bienvenido. Sin duda, lo recomiendo 100%.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2025Thanks to Puerto Natales's grid layout, this hotel is easily accessible on foot from the Rodoviario bus terminal (20 minutes). The airy, modern hotel is located near the main street, lined with restaurants, shops, and tour companies offering excursions. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering comfort. Throughout our entire trip through Patagonia, all the way to Ushuaia (in both Chile and Argentina), we here enjoyed the best and most extensive breakfast buffet.
Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to pay electronically with a credit card, and we incurred additional charges for paying cash.

Room was modern and clean, staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent each day, and internet was fast. Overall better than most hotels that I have paid twice the rate for - this is an excellent value, a wonderful experience and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Nothing really, the room was basic, but it was fine. The sound travelled, which was a bit annoying. You could hear cars passing through out the night.

The hotel is in a perfect location, surrounded by plenty of dining options, which made exploring the local cuisine incredibly convenient. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. Their warm hospitality really added to the overall experience. The breakfast offered was amazing. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into ensuring the guests had a satisfying meal each morning. Our room was spotless, with clean and comfortable bedding, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The heating in the room was excellent, keeping us cozy throughout our stay, which was especially appreciated given the chilly weather outside. Overall, our stay at Hotel Martín Gusinde was wonderful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Natales. The combination of perfect location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made our trip truly memorable.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2024Very good location, near everything. You can go to "Costanera" or to the main square in 2 minutes walking. Very good staff and breakfast. I felt very well received and the staff really took care of us.
The room is front to the street and to the parking lot. So, if you're on the first floor, it can be a little uncomfortable because you can't open the curtains. Otherwise, the people on the street will see you in your bed.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2023We highly recommend this hotel. It provided excellent value at such a reasonable price compared to other properties nearby. — Location was great. It was minutes from the main square, and right next door was a laundromat for dirty W Trek hiking clothes :) — Service was excellent. Whether it is the receptionist, the servers at breakfast and the cleaning ladies… they were all very friendly and really tried to accommodate our needs. — The rooms had everything that we needed, at the quality we expected. Room was spacious enough, shower was great, there were organic amenities, they provided clean towels, there was daily cleaning. We loved that everything was just done so well. — Great breakfast! We always start our day with high energy because of the yummy and filling breakfast. They even offered to give us takeaway breakfast on the day of the patagonia international marathon (which was really thoughtful of them!) BTW — we stayed one night at another hotel before our W Trek. We were *SO* glad we stayed at Martin Gusinde after our trek.

One day I woke up late and my tour was already coming, they made sure I had something to eat on my way! They also provided a very early breakfast when I had a tour coming an hour earlier than the restaurant would be open. So I highly recommend it!
My room was close to the reception so at night I heard people walking all the time and speaking with the receptionist.
