Excellent accomodation! Lovely atmosphere.

Hem till Garden was a lovely little country inn close to the town of Vasteras. We stayed for 3 nights in a small cottage with a well-equipped kitchen. The fridge was fully stocked for our breakfast. The bathroom had toiletries and a hair dryer. There was a table and chairs outside in the garden. The owners were quick to reply with questions we had about parking and laundry. In fact, Tina was not at the inn but talked me through the process of using the washer and dryer. That was a wonderful benefit of staying there. We wound recommend Hem till Garden, especially if you like peace and quiet.

A lovely and calm place with lots of charm. We highly recommend and will come back.

The most lovely place to stay. Traditional decor, beautiful color scheme. Idyllic setting, suite was very roomy, offering everything one might need. Comfortable bed and high quality linens. Very clean space and welcoming atmosphere.

Prachtige accommodatie. Alles mooi en rustiek ingericht. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Eigenaren zijn erg gastvrij en behulpzaam! Echt een aanrader!

Mycket trevlig och fräsch lägenhet centralt med nära till restauranger, stadskärnan och sevärdheter.

Alltid lika trevligt att bo i lantlig miljö nära till allt. Perfekt till resten av familjen som är med som supportrar under cuper.

Min familj åkte till Västerås för att besöka min syster och vi önskade oss en hotellnatt som var på landet men inte så långt ifrån centrum. Vi tyckte att Hem till gården var mysigt och vi sov väldigt gott i rummet Drängen.

Ett väldigt mysigt och trevligt boende. Bra med eget pentry så möjligheten till att laga lite eget tilltugg fanns. Närhet till Rocklunda arenor som var syftet med vår tur till Västerås. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende och kommer garanterat boka detta igen om det blir fler turer till orten.

Appartement charmant. NEANMOINS, nous avions réservé un appartement avec 2 chambres. Ce que nous avons découvert sur place et qui n'avait pas été signalé au préalable, c'est qu'une des 2 chambres était minuscule (5 m² au mieux). Pour 2 grands enfants (23 et 19 ans), c'était trop petit. Si cela avait été indiqué (ce qui aurait dû être le cas), nous n'aurions pas fait cette réservation. Impossible de changer car le site était complet. Communication par sms uniquement car personne n'est physiquement sur place. Indépendamment de ce point, bel endroit, très vert.

Fantastisk hyggelig sted å bo. Hjemmekoselig, rent og velutstyrt. Trivelig liten restaurant med supergod mat og hyggelig betjening. Håper å kunne komme tilbake snart!

Ett genomdragigt och kallt hus i kök och badrum, varm ovanvåning. Svårt att klaga då klockan var 22 på julaftonen när vi kom tillbaka. Lämnade i förtid juldagsmorgonen efter att ha klagat hos ägarna. Blev erbjuden annat boende men var då redan sjuk och reste hem.

Jättefint boende, lugnt och skönt.

Vi hade en underbar vistelse. Lägenheten var välutrustad, ren och mysig. Området är lugnt och vackert. Våra barn gillade lekplatsen brevid huset. Vi hade trevliga promenader i skogen i närheten; det finns 2 större lekplatser inom gångavstånd. Parkeringen är brevid huset. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Underbart hotell i en vacker miljö, rekommenderas verkligen.

En perfekt lösning när jag arbetar och har beredskap att få ha ett eget boende med möjlighet att laga egen mat i en miljö som känns som om man är hemma. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter för att snabbt komma iväg på jobb när det behövs.

A beautiful little hotel with lovely staff. Very charming rooms and small houses to live in. Kids- and dog friendly and a lovely garden. We miss having a breakfast buffet and would love to visit the bistro (closed for holiday in July).

Fantastiskt ställe att övernatta på.

Vi trivdes bra i Jakstugan, perfekt för oss och två hundar. En gammal fin gårdsmiljö med villabebyggelse runt omkring. Vi träffade aldrignågon personal, vilket vi inte kände något större behov av. Ett pentry så vi kunde fixa lite mat, fri parkering, rent o snyggt och framförallt lugnt. I det stora hela en mycket bra lösning för oss.

WoW, is the best description. I had the pleasure of staying there for May, June and July. A home away from home. Peace, quiet and tranquility yet only 5 mins from the city and road network. The hospitality, friendliness and warmth of welcome was abundant. No request was too big or too small. I would go back in the morning. Many thanks for running such a fine establishment, it is a credit to all of you.

Mycket fint hotell. Det fanns dåligt med möjligheter att äta i närheten. Frukost ingick inte men man kunde äta frukost på grannhotellet.

You have to make special arrangements to have breakfast at B & B??? Was told at check-in that it was too late to have breakfast the next day???

Bokade ett rum på 70 kvadratmeter och fick endast 35 och dessa 35 kvadratmeterna hade inte ens full takhöjd. Vidare så skulle det vara öppen spis, arbetsyta, bäddsoffa och möblerad balkong, inget av detta fanns. Hotellet är mysigt, jättemysigt, men det kan inte bli annat än en stor besvikelse när man bokar för att få viss storlek och vissa saker men blir lurad. inte heller någon ursäkt från personalen. Jättetråkigt.

Verkligen ett mysigt, lugnt hotell. Rummet, som mer var en liten stuga, var charmigt inrett – allt från otroligt vackra sängkläder och kuddar till de rustika möblerna. Rent och fint och en otroligt skön säng.

Aivan hurmaava, persoonallinen majoitusvaihtoehto. Ystävällinen, avulias henkilökunta. Sijainti mainio. Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Bra service, hemtrevligt o superfresht. Smakfull inredning med små kärleksfulla detaljer!!

Perfekt boende när man ska på cup. Nära till alla hallar vid Rocklunda.

Släktmiddag kombinerat med 70-årsfirande. Snygg och enkel inkvartering nästgårds. Gott om parkeringsutrymme

Enkel men fullt godkänd övernattning i rustik lantgårdsmiljö. Perfekt för bilresenärer

Vackert men lite slitet boende med ett litet enkelt kök.

A very welcoming and comfortable stay in a typically Swedish farm stead. Easily reached from Vasteras airport (15 mins) and Arlanda in just over an hour. Within 10 minutes of the city by car. A good base if you have a car to visit Malaran lake and the surrounds. We stayed in the main building in an apartment with its own kitchen and was much better than a hotel with our children. A small play area is visible from the apartment And balcony. Breakfast charge is worth it to have a fridge full of delights for arrival.

Fantastiskt mysig stuga vi bodde i! Rymligt med kök och rum men något som kanske bör framgå i informationen om hotellet är toalettens/duschens storlek (var minimal). Frånsett det är Hem till gården väldigt fint och bra - nära till centrum men ändå på landet! Hit kommer jag absolut tillbaka!

Kaunis tunnelmallinen hotelli maalaismiljöössä lähellä vain vähän keskustan ulkopuolella. Hyvät valikoimat omaava ruokakauppa ICA melkein vieressä, joten aamupalan puute ei ollut ongelma.

Helt fantastiskt pittoreskt och läckert ställe med sköna sängar, fin inredning och vänlig värdinna.

We were in the area to visit friends and stayed at Hem. Lovely sweet little cottages with all the charm of a Swedish farm house. The house was equipped with breakfast and everything we needed (hair dryer, toaster etc). The location is on the outskirts of the city with some office buildings around, but the farm grounds are lovely and we were in walking distance to a nice playground for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we'll certainly be back.

We were meant to have an apartment for the three of us, but were informed a week before arrival that this could not happen due to a booking fault. However, cannot fault the alternative that came out less and was split over two apartments. We only had one day, and used this to visit a local moose park. However, there are other attractions in the area and there are plenty of nearby supermarkets if needed. If you are in the area, well worth staying here.

Kom frem sent på kvelden og dro tidlig neste dag. Vet derfor lite om omgivelsene, men selve gården var idyllisk. Perfekt hvis man har med hund- som vi hadde. Bodde i et eget lite hus på bakkeplan. Ideelt for hundelufting.

Lugnt område, tyvärr var det lite lyhört mellan rummen. Dåligt skyltat från Norrleden och Vasagatan/Slånbärsgatan.

Obs, ingen frukost och ingen restaurang

Trevlig atmosfär. Det borde ingå någon form av frukost. Enda nackdelen är att det är lite långt från city.

Trevlig personal o väldigt hemtrevligt romantiskt hotell.Frukosten ok.(kylskåpet var dock för kallt så grönsakerna hade frusit o is i juicen)

Mycket mysigt hotell med massa charm. Trevlig personal. Rena och fina rum med individuella teman. Tyvärr stämmer inte informationen angående eldstad. Några välplacerade uttag för mobilladdare vid sängen hade också suttit fint.

We spent a marvelous week here, the rooms are beautifully decorated.. The views are spectacular.. Every morning I was split between having breakfast on the terrace or stay next to the window.. Cleanliness is well, kitchen is very well equipped .. You wouldn't miss anything.. Tina, the owner, is very friendly and nice.. A great place all in all

Had originally booked five nights and stayed one, says it all; even then had to negotiate at length with the owner to have a partial refund after paying in full when arriving(be wary of this). Accommodation (Svitan) lacked privacy with adjoining cottage also extending to the floor above. Location more akin to an out-of-town industrial park with main road access....and having stayed in authentic, private cottages across Sweden I'm afraid Hem Till Garden fell short of expectations.

L'accueil était bon mais le cottage était décevant: la salle de bain était rudimentaire et le cottage était en fait dans une zone commerciale pas loin d'une route fréquentée.

We had the most magical few days at Hem till gården when we got married there last week. When all our guests from abroad were booked in there was no room for us, but every one of our guests without fail had only good things to say about the place. They had their own space in the apartments but could visit and spend time together if they wanted to. It is a short walk to the supermarket and to the bus stop into town (none of our guests rented cars), and it is so worth it for the location. We rented the stables for the weekend and the whole group ate there the evening before the wedding and we had the party there on the night. It worked well and the staff were really helpful and accommodating when we were setting the place up. Of course our experiences of places are always linked to the people that were there, the weather and so many other things, but my husband and I were thrilled with the place.

Hem till garden has lovely feel to it. The cottages are beautifully decorated. However, the location is far away from the city with almost no shops nearby. The owner, Tina is rather inflexible. The hot water supply is not very good. So go for the old world charm of this place but do not expect the typical hotel conveniences.

Ett annorlunda och gemytligt boende, med olika hus i gamla anor. Rent och fräscht och fint inrett. Sköna sängar. Kan varmt rekommendera detta ställe om man söker något annat än de vanliga stora hotellen. Ända negativa om man bara bor en natt är att det inte serveras någon frukost.

I spent a the best part of a week at Hem till Garden with my son and a friend of his during a tennis tournament in the Bellevue Indoor Sports Complex in early January. We were really impressed. The apartment was very nicely decorated and ideal for our purposes. Tina, the owner, and her son were very hospitable and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Hem Till Garden.

On our tour through Sweden we had also plannend a stop in Västerås. We stumbled across Hem till Gården and found the website promising. We were not disappointed. Hem till Gården (At home on the farm) is just what it promises: an old swedish farm on the outskirts of Vesterås. We could hardly believe the pictures on their website but they are true indeed: it is as pictoresque and originall old as it is advertised. We stayed in the Lillstugan (small cottage), presumably the farm helper's cottage dating from the early 1800s. The inside was beautifully and tastefully renovated and looked like new. We felt home immediately and had a feeling of being in a special place during our entire stay. The cottage was large enough for us and our 7 months old daughter and featured everything we needed from fridge to cooker, cutlery, a Weber Barbecue, etc. Tina, the owner of the property is awesome, always helpful and seems to be the driving force behind it. The property is located near a larger street and well-connected to everything, the city is 5 min away by car and there's lots of shopping possibilities within easy reach. Absolutely recommended place, especially if you are looking for a more cottage rental type of accommodation rather than a hotel. Unique Swedish experience.
