I’ve been a loyal guest for 20 years, but the unfriendliness of the hotel staff has remained unchanged. The front desk staff consistently behave like government officials. Even though the hotel was nearly empty today, they gave us twin beds instead of a double bed, despite our request, so we had to sleep apart like a separated family. There isn’t much to do around, and the golf practice range was filled with people smoking. However, Mount Taebaek and the hiking trails are undoubtedly among the best in the world.

편의시설(편의점)없음. 호텔입구에서 호텔 내 주차장까지 거리가 너무 멀어요. 지하1층 식당 내 식사매뉴를 2~3개정도 더 늘려주세요. 감사합니다.

하이원 골프코스가 내려다 보이고 정선군의 완만하고 높은 산들이 평화스럽게 펼쳐진 뷰를 커다란 객실 창문을 통해 감상할 수 있음. 조용하고 편안한 휴식을 추구하는 여행객에게 강력 추천 호텔 B1 에 있는 식당의 음식도 메뉴 수는 적지만 매우 맛있음 하이원리조트, 강원랜드, 고환읍과는 다소 떨어져 있지만 무료 셔틀버스을 이용하여 다녀올 수 있음

그냥 숲속의 호텔이라고 생각하면 됩니다. 밥 먹으러 갈라믄 최소 5분을 자동차로 내려 가야 함. 즉 완전히 Isolated된 호텔, 그러니, 깨끗, 조용, 공기 완전 좋은 호텔이라 보면 됩니다.

전체적으로 깨끗하고 친절하고 편리합니다. 무인 커피숍도 있고 식당, 편의점도 있어서 불편함은 없었네요. 음식값은 다소 비쌉니다. 주차장은 실외 주차장 밖에 없어서 눈오면 그냥 다 맞아야 하는 점이 아쉽네요.

스키를 타기에는 괜찮은 장소였으나, 스키장까지 연결된 곤돌라가 기상에 따라 변동이 심해서 3박중 한번도 이용하지 못했고, 운행을 한다고 해도 오전시간에만 가능하다. 호텔이여서 깨끗하기는 했으나, 방음이 별로 안되고, 먹거리나 즐길거리는 별로 없는 편이라, 갠 적으로 가족 여행은 비추한다.

하이원 올 때마다 팰리스 호텔을 잘 이용하고 있습니다. 프론트 데스크 뿐만 아니라 모든 직원분들의 배려넘치는 친절 덕분에 늘 기분좋게 다녀갑니다. 성수기라 온돌방밖에 남지 않아서 이 좌식 객실은 처음으로 이용해봤는데 새로운 경험으론 나쁘지 않았습니다. 다만 전기포트 콘센트 꽂는 곳이 애매한 점이 좀 아쉽습니다.

객실 리뉴얼을 해서인지 아주 깨끗합니다. 욕조가 있어서 보딩후에 휴식하기에 너무 좋았어요. 강풍때문에 곤돌라 운영을 하지 않았는데 곤돌라로 이동까지 가능하면 최고일 것 같아요. 어메니티를 친환경으로 사용한다거나 고객경험을 섬세하게 관리하려고하는 노력도 보였습니다.

호텔 체크인 카운터 응대가 아쉬웠습니다. 하이원의 얼굴, 처음접하는곳은 체크인 카운터입니다. 친절,상냥이 10 일때 4정도로 좀 불편했습니다. 코로나 때문이지만 얼음을 주문했는데 카운터로 가지로오라고 하더군요~. 알바트로스 25만원 바비큐 먹었는데 괜찮았어요. 불도장이 리필된다고 전화로 확인하고 한번더 달라했도니 쉡이 가져오면서 이젠 안된다고 하도군요 ㅋㅋ. 전화로 확인하고 리필한거다라고 말해도 소용없게 들으시더라구요. 저도 일식10년차 쉡인데~ 좀 아쉬운 부분이 있었어요~

숙소의 청결상태는 최고였고 직원들의 응대 역시 아주 좋았습니다. 숙소 청소당담자분 역시 생각하지 못한부분까지 잘 챙겨주셔서 어려움없이 숙박했습니다. 시설 또한 나무랄때 없고 특히 실내화가 상태가 아주 좋아서 신고 집에 가지고 왔어요. 숙소를 지정해준 직원분이 경치가 너무 좋은 곳으로 배정해주어서 더욱 멋진 여행이 되었습니다.

두 번째 방문이었습니다. 5년 전에 비해 벽지, 침대, 바닥 카펫이 교체되어 좋았습니다. 침대도 깨끗하고 잠자리는 쾌적하였으나, 냉온수 꼭지가 따로인 오래된 화장실 세면대와 깨끗하지만 낡은 욕조가 연식을 말해주는 듯 하더군요. 지하 식당의 메뉴가 다양하지 않고 인근 음식점들은 가격에 비해 음식맛이 소소... 그러나 하이원 팰리스 호텔 자체는 넓은 주차장과 맑은 공기로도 힐링이 되었습니다. 골프 예약은 하지 못했지만 야외에 있는 골프연습장이 골프공 한 바구니에 오천원이고 다 칠 때까지 마음껏 이용할 수 있어 도심에서 전혀 맛볼 수 없는 자연과 여유로움을 느끼며 연습하는 신선함을 주어 좋더군요~

하이원팰리스 호텔과 주변 경관이 정말 좋습니다. 곤돌라로 스키장 정상까지 무료 운행을 제공하시어 정상에 올라가 주변 산책까지 하였습니다. 가을 단풍도 좋았지만 호텔 입구에서부터 오르막길 좌우 주변에 봄철에는 꽃이 만발하겠으니 대단할 것 같습니다. 봄에도 다시 다녀와야 겠습니다.

The palace hotel is showing its age, a lot of wear and tear from the thousands of guests over the years. They are in the process of renovating it, but our rooms were not yet done. The service was overall excellent and most everything was quite good, the one big demerit coming from the fact that our initial room was not completely cleaned from the previous guest. The hotel responded very quickly and changed our rooms without a hitch. The breakfast was also very filling.

와이프가 너무 좋아 합니다. 주변 풍광이 아주 좋고, 산책길이 너무 좋습니다. 꼭 산책하세요. 객실은 오래된 느낌이나 무척이나 깨끗했구요. 직원들도 너무 친절합니다. 코로나 방역에도 잘 대응하구. 조식 부페도 가지수는 적으나 상당히 만족스럽습니다. 곤드레밥 정말 맛나구요. 부페 직원의 서비스도 정말 만족스럽습니다. 다만, 객실에 방음에는 약간 문제가 있는거 같아요. 자주 방문 예정입니다.

거실, 침실이 나누어져 있는 여유 있는 공간과 잘 갖추어진 시설이 좋았습니다. 아무래도 연식이 있어서 조금 낡아보이기는 했습니다만 침구 등은 잘 정비되어 있어서 불편하지는 않았습니다. 특히 주위 경관이 훌륭하고 맑은 공기는 기분을 좋게 해줬습니다.

The room view was amazing and very convenient to get to the ski resort by shuttle bus. But, upstair's room was too noisy even after 1 am. We called the front desk to complain but didn't really work. Great hotel in general except for the bad sound insulation

오래된 호텔이지만 관리가 훌륭합니다. 호텔에서 파는 음식은 호텔식으로 비싸지만 충분히 값어치 있었습니다. 저희는 스키를 탔는데, 곤돌라가 야간에 운행을하지 않아서 4시 이후에는 셔틀을 타고 호텔로 돌아오는 것이 조금 불편했습니다.

직원분들 매우 친절하고 부대시설이 좋습니다. 방은 온도도절이 잘 되어서 따뜻하게 잤고요, 침대가 좀 딱딱해서 불편했습니다. 방이 약간 더 깨끗이 관리 되면 좋을것 같아요. 눈에 잘 안 띄이는 곳에 페인트 벗겨진 것들 등 약간 허술한 모습이 있었으나 전체적으로 만족스러웠습니다. 스파가 매우 좋았어요. 전망이 정말 아름답고 주변 환경이 매우 평온합니다. 쉬기 좋은 곳.

매우 편안하고 좋습니다. 물도 좋고 공기도 좋습니다. 셔틀버스도 있어 편안합니다. 다만 기차와 시간이 맞지않아서 좀... 아침시간에 셔틀버스가 좀 많아서면 합니다. 직원들도 매우 친절합니다. 조식도 매우매우 좋은듯 합니다.

This is not a 4-star hotel accommodation. No baggage service. No valet parking. No 24 hour room service. WiFi came and went. Stayed in the Royal Suite for 3 nights. The room was not 4-star hotel standard. The powder room room toilet seat would not remain in the upright position. The master bathroom door would not remain open. You may not pay for ski school lessons for your children at this location, only rentals. For ski school, you need to drive or shuttle around the mountain. Then what is the point of having the Gondola right in the hotel?

The carpet was not so clean. There are still cookie crumbs on the floor the next day. The additional bed was not very comfortable. it's a simple folded bed with a thin mattress. The pillows are too flat as well.

A very good stay... the ski slopes can be reached directly from the hotel. The food in the restaurant is rather limited, but there is a very reliable shuttle bus to the small town nearby, where there are plenty of restaurants . In terms of value for money, it was excellent.

I only stayed for one day. The first thing that I found was hairs of women in trash basket. At night, lights were very dimm, and I could not do much other than sleeping.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm. We had a mountain view which was great. It had a convenient shuttle that picks you up and drop off at Gohan to dine in the evenings and the ski houses where you can hire the equipment and obtain your ski lift passes. There is also a gondola direct from the hotel but we didn't select this option as we wanted to ski down the mountain and return our equipment there. Unfortunately, the front staff could only communicate with limited English. I tried to get them to understand I wanted to reserve a bus ticket to leave on my last day back to Incheon airport to catch my flight home. But they were not helpful in advising where and how to buy the ticket. Subsequently, I found out that there's a website to reserve the bus ticket. Only thing was it's in Korean only. If only they had advised this and helped the customers navigate to make the booking it would have been useful. In the end I had to go down to the bus station 3 hours ahead to secure a ticket on the day and luckily there was a few seats left.

Nice property. Amazing Sauna Area. Good points: quiet, secluded, good wifi, handy for playing golf. Bad point: restaurant is over priced and consist of 2 dreadful menu options, better consider this as a serviced apartment rather than a hotel, you need a car to survive in this hotel, ski resort link is good but too far, not a good hotel to stay in if you intend to ski, town is a good 45 minutes walk away (not an option to go out for dinner), sauna is not free for residents.

The room is slightly aged but view is great! Cleanliness could be improved or change those stained furniture. Staffs were friendly but can barely speak English. There is quite far from the center of the city, but they provided shuttle buses which depart very punctually. We used it a lot, and it's great! Overall it's quite value for money. One thing to say is, we went there specifically for their alpine coaster, but their website and even brochure they provided stated it's until 31st Oct and we went there by 25 Oct but they said it's off season so it's closed. We are very dissapointed by this. I hope they can at least update their website.
