The staff were very friendly, we had a room with a good view. My daughter was happy to be staying in Josie jump’s house.

It was a slight walk up the hill but actually it had good views over the harbour

Convenient location to walk to town centre with on-site parking. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good.

The bedroom was quite small however the bathroom was large in comparison. The towels were thin and not very soft. Newer towels would really make a big difference.

Hard to find the hotel in the dark even with SatNav but that was my fault for taking a later ferry from Oban 🙂

Very nice hotel, everything is modern and clean, the shower and toilet sparkling clean and we ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the food was very good, staff were friendly.

The only thing we didn't like was the hotel is on a hill, not a problem if you have a car but we don't and came on the bus from Craignure would be nice if someone from the hotel picked us up as we had to drag luggage up the hill and we are not young people.

The staff were all lovely and very helpful with some queries. The bed was comfortable.

The room was right next to Reception on the ground floor (i.e. our window looked straight onto the arrivals door) and so it was noisy. It was quite dark with no view at all. It was a bit cramped and old-fashioned. Needs some updating.

Location was wonderful - close to the harbour/downtown. Great breakfast to set us on our way.

Si seulement il était possible de se doucher avec un tout petit plus d'eau. Il y a avait plus dehors sous la pluie que dans la salle de bain. Et c'est le plus mauvais petit déjeuner de tout notre séjour en Ecosse. Peu de choix, qualité moyenne et service long.

El hotel está muy bien situado en la parte alta de Tobermory, en un lugar muy tranquilo, pero a un paso del frente marítimo, donde están todas las tiendas y restaurantes, y dispone de parking propio. La relación calidad-precio es conveniente para poder visitar las islas durante varios días. Las habitaciones son cómodas, y, aunque no son muy grandes, están bien equipadas. El baño es cómodo y con buena presión de agua. El restaurante del hotel sirve un buen desayuno a la carta. Tobermory tiene muy buenos restaurantes, aún así cenamos una noche en el hotel, después de ascender Ben Mor, y nos pareció excelente. Preparan también packed lunchs bajo petición, lo que permite hacer excursiones por todas la islas.

Los horarios en recepción son muy limitados, nos ha pasado en más hoteles en Escocia, y en temporada alta se agradecería una atención permanente.

The location was ideal for us. Close to town but not noisy or crowded.

The room was room 9. The room was small, the bathroom had a water leak, and the closet top had a thick layer of dust. The bed was poorly made up on several days. We were there for a week. The bed mattress was uncomfortable. You could feel the springs. I am subject to a strictly supervised medical diet. I am allergic to carbohydrates, most sugars, and compounds in most vegetables . This includes seed / vegetable oil. This was brought to the attention of various staff members.. We wished to " swap out" ALL fruits, all carbohydrates, and substitute meat, protein, eggs, and yoghurt. The kitchen was happy to leave the above off ( at no price reduction)but an extra egg, sausage, bacon @ $2.00 per additional item. I found this petty and less than generous. It was detrimental to our enjoyment Took our tourist dollars to other businesses with the town. Eat and drank there, instead. As a family run business, I can not but feel they have let themselves down. We ran family similar businesses for 50 years in our home country. Three of our five family members STILL work in hospitality. We will return to Mull for a third time but will not stay here !!!!. Doug.

Easy to access both the ‘city centre’ and the Mull Games. Good facilities in case we had chosen to ‘stay in’ at night.

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit der Zimmertür, von da an alles super. Absolut freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Zimmer war überschaubar aber ausreichend und sehr sauber...Bad ähnlich. Parken war auf dem Hotel eigenen Platz nie ein Problem. Da "das Zentrum 😄" Tobermorys überschaubar ist, kann man vom Hotel aus alles schnell fußläufig erreichen. (Es gibt eine versteckte Treppe links von dem darunter liegenden Hotel und man ist in 2 Minuten am Hafen) Empfehlung: Wanderweg zum Leuchtturm und über den Golfplatz zurück. Eine große Auswahl an Gastronomie gibt es nicht und so haben wir täglich im Hotel gegessen....und das war gut so😋. Der Koch hat's drauf. Jedes mal aufs neue lecker.

Viele Hotels gibt es nicht in Tobermory, von daher sind die Hotelpreise schon hoch.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I asked for an extra pillow and it was brought promptly with a smile. There was a handy car park, not huge but we got in with several spaces available. The room was clean and comfortable and there were complimentary biscuits, hot chocolate etc as well as the usual. Dinner and breakfast were really good and reasonably priced. Good shower. We liked the fact that it was family run.

I asked for a quiet room, but we were on the ground floor near the path to the entrance and there were a lot of people walking past talking . I also felt nervous about leaving the window open overnight as there was no vent setting. I would have preferred to be upstairs or at the back.

The room was cosy, bed was comfortable, enough space to hang some clothes up, clean bathroom. The staff are lovely

The vegetarian/ vegan option for full cooked breakfast, although it was tasty, substituting bacon, sausage and haggis for 1 veggie sausage wasn’t filling enough. Veggie black pudding or veggie haggis would have been great!

One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in! Great service- the waiter offered to do room delivery for my son!

Beim Frühstück musste man sich auf eine feste Zeit festlegen. Die Hotelzimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Bett zu schmal. Kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert.

The breakfast selection was excellent. Great service in the morning. We enjoyed watching a World Cup futball game in the bar area. We reserved 4 rooms and after the trip this was everyone's favorite hotel.

Das Zimmer, der Nebenraum und das Bad hatten eine gute Größe. Es gab eine Kapselmaschine für Kaffee, Tee und Leckereien. Gute Pflegeprodukte im Bad. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist ok und auch beim Abendessen hatten wir nichts zu beanstanden. Die Nähe zum Ortskern ist ebenso gut zu bewältigen, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist, weil man einen kleinen Berg hochlaufen muss.

Ich empfand das Hotel als etwas zu teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften die wir in Schottland hatten aber das ist wahrscheinlich der Größe des Zimmers und der Lage geschuldet. Das Bad hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch.

There was a strange, humid smell in the bathroom that did not go away and seemed to get worse after showering, and the rooms are carpeted. However, it is still a great place.

Tolle Lage, wenn auch auf einem Hügel. Dafür hat man jedes Mal wenn man in den Ort geht einen wunderbaren Blick. Das Einzelzimmer (Nr.14) war für britische Verhältnisse sehr geräumig. Es war extrem sauber und ruhig in der Nacht. Außerdem hatte ich eine tolle Aussicht. Das Personal an der Rezeption und in der Bar/Restaurant war super. Das Essen im Restaurant ist mega lecker bei sehr gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Auch gutes Frühstück.

Vielleicht der schwache Wasserdruck in der Dusche.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich im PLH empfangen,das Superior Twinbed Zimmer war geräumig,sauber und gemütlich.Es hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank,den wir gerne genutzt haben. Das Abendessen im Restaurant hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt,wir waren gleich 2x dort zum Essen. Vom Hotel aus ist man relativ bald in die schönen Hafenstrasse runter gelaufen.Der kostenlose Parkplatz am Hotel ist hier Gold wert!

Einige Lampen im Zimmer müssten wieder zum Leuchten gebracht werden.

If there was a room a lounge would be nice! Breakfast was ok but I suggest perhaps getting some more interesting bread to toast and whole wheat muesli (rather than just Alpen). A cafetiere of coffee would be good instead of machine.

Ich hatte einwunderbares Zimmer mit Fenstern an 2 Seiten, neben dem großen bequemen Bett 2 kleine Sessel, ein Kühlschrank, Kaffeekaselmaschine und wasserkocher, ein großes komfortables Bad mit Sitzbank und zwischen den 2 Räumen einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank mit schmink-/Schreibtisch und Fön. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich (wie alle anderen auch) und um alles bemüht, was es einem komfortabel macht

Das Frühstück war ok, hätte mir bei dem Preis ein besseres Angebot gewünscht

Disappointed that the outlook from our Bedroom was of a neighbouring garden with a very rusty old oil tank in the forefront. Removal of this tank would at least improve the view.

Difficult to find from the postcode and although an easy walk into town, a tough uphill walk back that I wasn’t expecting.

I had to book my stay very last minute due to ferry issues but my stay was perfect ! I called the hotel to advise I'll arrive after check in hours due to the ferry issue and the staff was very kind and told me it was not an issue someone will be there to welcome me on my arrival. The hotel corresponds perfectly to the pictures. The room was very well equipped (fridge, kettle, teas, coffee, biscuits soap and shampoo, ...) nicely decorated. The bed was very confortable ! I had a perfect and restful night. I had a nice time at the bar with a cider to decompress from my long day trip. The breakfast is wonderful and tasty !! I recommend this hotel for your stay in Mull. The staff is very kind and welcoming. There is a private car park on site.

It was a little difficult for my GPS to find the hotel at first. I had to park and go by foot to find the exacte emplacement but it was not a problem.

The hotel is very nice but be advised that it is up a steep hill which is accessible by stairs or the road from the main town. For us this was not an issue. It has lovely rooms with a reasonable size fridge in it which was good for me. It had a nice bar with a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was also very good as it had both continental style and cooked breakfast that you picked from the menu. See below regarding the check out.

It was a bit expensive - £186 per room per night. I needed to book two rooms and so had limited choices at the time of booking. I fully understand that as an island things have to be brought over from the mainland but still feel that maybe around the £150.00 would be better value. The check out time. Had it not been that we were due to go on a boat tour at 09:30 I would never book a room with a 10am check out time (10:30 on a Saturday and Sunday). I didn't go on the tour in the end and on speaking to staff (very helpful) I left around 10:45 as it was a Saturday. PLEASE make the check out time 11:00 for any day of the week.

Location, Breakfast and Evening Meals all superb. Superior twin room was spacious.

A Superior twin room was spacious but the beds were very uncomfortable. Springs felt on our backs and turning was noisy. Fridge in the wardrobe took up a lot of wardrobe space.

Perfect location even with the walk uphill and we enjoyed a pint in the well appointed beer garden. Excellent facilities and very comfortable beds. We had to leave before breakfast but a lovely takeaway breakfast was left for us at the desk.
