Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Lovely, quaint hotel in the middle of the town. Really friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were not large but perfectly adequate, comfortable beds, air conditioning and plenty of hot water. Despite the fact that there was a fiesta, the room was quiet. We ate in the hotel's restaurant, and it was excellent, offering regional dishes and local wines. The town itself was fascinating, full of history and easy to walk round
Just be aware that parking is a little away from the hotel entrance and is public parking. Ypu need to be able to carry your luggage to the hotel

Me gustó mucho también el minibar del pasillo con botellas de agua y refresco que luego puedes abonar con tu cuenta, buen detalle. Respecto a la habitación, el baño muy bien. La ubicación buenísima
La cama, no era nada cómoda, el colchón necesitaba un cambio. Dormimos mal.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Het eten en de wijn in combinatie met het personeel was geweldig. We hadden het menu en deze was zeer divers, als hoofdgerecht namen we de zeeduivel en deze was zo ongelooflijk lekker bereid. Zo zal ik hem nergens anders meer eten. Ook het kasteel is zeker een bezoek waard.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Tutto di mio gradimento. Ottima posizione sulle mura del centro storico, raggiungibile facilmente anche con le valigie. C’è un parcheggio free nella strada sotto le mura. Bella architettura della facciata, molto carino anche dentro. La camera era di ampiezza più grande di quanto mi aspettassi, tipica con mobili e tendaggi che fanno entrare nell atmosfera di Olite. Comodo il mini terrazzino per permettere a chi fuma di non dover uscire dal hotel per farlo. Ottimo anche il ristorante sotto.

Solicitamos una cama de matrimonio y nos dieron 2 camas juntas. hasta ahi bueno, no pasa nada pero pusieron una funda sintética para que no se notase la unión entre camas que no permitía transpirar. Es increible que haga esto un hotel que cobra 120 euros la noche. No pude dormir. No recomiendo este otel y no puedo entender que tenga buena reputación.

El aire acondicionado hacía mucho ruido y si abrías la ventana pasaban muchos camiones. Fue complicado acceder con el coche al hotel, de hecho mejor no intentarlo y dejarlo directamente en el parquing municipal, frente al convento.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Lo mejor es que el hotel se encuentra dentro del casco histórico de Olite, pero cerca de varios aparcamientos donde dejar el coche. La habitación tiene un tamaño suficiente. Tiene aire acondicionado. El personal de recepción muy amable.
El aire acondicionado no dispone de mando a distancia, por lo que hay que levantarse para regularlo desde el control fijo de la pared. Además, por la mañana lo desconectan. El baño es muy pequeño. Nuestra habitación daba a la parte trasera y, por la noche, algunas personas permanecen en la calle tomando algo, por lo que hay ruido hasta tarde. Lo que más nos ha disgustado es que en Booking anuncian que las habitaciones disponen de minibar, lo cual no es cierto, únicamente hay uno con bebidas a la venta en el pasillo. Llevo medicación que necesita conservarse en frío, por lo que preguntamos a la recepcionista, quien nos confirmó que ninguna habitación dispone de minibar. Es un servicio que puede resultar necesario para algunos huéspedes, por lo que consideramos que deberían corregir esta información en Booking, ya que resulta engañosa.

Entre las cualidades del alojamiento es que tiene aire acondicionado. Yo elegí este lugar precisamente por la disponibilidad de aire acondicionado. A las 00.00 se apagó. Por la mañana al decírselo al responsable me dice que no fue ningún fallo y que existe una ley que les prohíbe tener el aire acondicionado disponible apartir de esa hora. ( He buscado y no encontré dicha ley) Me aloje la noche del 14 al 15 de agosto, el calor es razonablemente alto. No recomiendo este lugar. Tuve que abrir las ventanas para poder intentar dormir.... Xq la carretera está prácticamente al lado y escuché los coches pasar toda la noche , tb se me lleno la habitación de mosquitos. En fin!!!! Si buscáis una habitación en la q dormir fresquitos, este no es el lugar.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Olite - Erriberri (Olite in Spanish) is a town and municipality located in the Tafalla comarca, Erriberri Merindad, in Navarre, Basque Country. In accordance with Isidore of Seville's Historia de regibus Gothorum, Vandalorum et Suevorum the town of ‘Oligicus’ was founded by Swinthila Visigoth King of Hispania (621–631) in order to control and punish the native Vascones people. However, nothing was heard about this town until 5 centuries later – when the present-day town was founded and chartered. The Royal palace of Olite defined as a fine Gothic castle-palace, being the royal seat of Charles III of Navarre now a Parador hotel and museum. The best experience was deciding to leave prior to staying due to the misrepresentation of the accommodation on Booking.com Platform.
Arriving having located the public car park through the meandering One way street system to then carry luggage up the steep embankment with stone staircase to hotel reception second floor in 37 degrees full sunshine. To the discover to our horror the misrepresented accommodation and encountered aggressive behaviour receiving hostility, animosity from the proprietor. ISSUES: Misrepresentation: * Junior Suite (Room27) did not have itemised accommodation (1 double bed only) NOT 2 single beds 1 and double bed as listed * Balcony did not exist * Minibar did not exist * WIFI not available in the room * Satellite not available * Room size actually miniscule * Accessibility to rooms several steep staircases (no indication advising not suitable for elderly/disabled guests – as not lift available) * Cramped bathroom H&S issues with no practical usability * Health & Hygiene issues with Room dirty/grubby furnishings and * Dirty/Grubby carpets throughout the hotel (possibility for insect manifestation bacteria and microbial growth)

El personal muy antipático, no hay ascensor y se oye bastante el ruido de la calle. Además, nos dejamos una lámpara pequeña de luz roja que usamos para leer y que 100% seguro que nos la dejamos allí porque era nuestra primera noche de vacaciones y no la sacamos de la habitación y al llamar para preguntar si la habían encontrado nos dijeron que no, que allí no había nada.

Car parking in a public car park across the road has limited spaces so we had to park one day some distance from the hotel. No lift, so carrying cases up stairs was a bit inconvenient. Rather limited breakfast.

The hotel is right in the middle of the town down a side street so it would be worth familiarizing yourself with the position to get an idea of its' location. The restaurant was very popular so consider booking on check-in. The food and wine were very good. Adequate breakfast meat, cheese toast etc.
Could only access WiFi near reception not in the room.

Todo bien, pero el WiFi en nuestra habitación no funcionaba. Lo comenté en recepción y tomaron nota, aceptaron la queja, pero me dijeron que no podrían hacer nada. Cabe decir que era fin de semana y nosotros hemos salido el lunes. No disponen de ascensor.
