Reviewed Aug 24, 2026הגענו ללילה אחד, שהינו בדירה של שני חדרים עם מרפסת כייפית מול המבנה המרכזי. המיקום טוב ברחוב מרכזי בעיר התחתית ובקרבת מסעדות ובתי קפה, הדירה היתה נקיה ומצוידת, המארחים נחמדים ונדיבים ואפשרו לנו להשאר למחרת בלי הגבלת זמן. בהחלט נחזור שוב!
היתה תקלה במנעול אבל היא תוקנה מיד. יש גרם מדרגות בדרך לדירה

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026מיקום מצויין ושקט בעיר התחתית. חדר מרווח ונוח, מזגן מעולה, מיטות נוחות. חצר פנימית יפה ונעימה. צוות מקסים שחשוב לו שנהיה מרוצים. מלא מסעדות ובתי קפה שווים מסביב.
אין חניה חינם ולמצוא חניה מעט מאתגר (מצד שני יש תחבורה ציבורית בשבת!). תחזוקה היתה יכולה להיות יותר טובה קצת (לא משהו קריטי - נורה מהבהבת קלות, סימני רטיבות קלים).

Reviewed Dec 23, 2025הכל!! איציק המנהל המדהים היה שם לכל שאלה, המליץ על מסעדות ומקומות אווירה ביתית ועם זאת מאוד מושקע חדר נקי, גדול, מרווח, נעים ונוח מיקום מושלם מרחק הליכה מהנמל, מסעדות, בתי קפה, ברים, שוק הפשפשים, המושבה הגרמנית וכו אין ספק שנמליץ ונחזור!

Reviewed Aug 7, 2023The place is great, the staff is great. The sitting place is nice and comfortable, there is a kitchen. In the summer the air conditioner is great and makes it comfortable to sleep there. The place is very close to the center, there are shops all around to get food or ingredients to cook.
You don't get a towel - you must add money to get that. The sitting area and kitchen close at 10-11 PM, which I would have wanted to stay open 24-7 for night owls like me. You can still sit outside however, but it's not always comfortable - could be mosquitos and so on.

We really loved our first time in Haifa because Itzak the owner was so welcoming and so hospitable - we loved all his recommendations, the subway, the lookout, the restaurant Fattoush etc. On the day of our check out, he let us stay longer in the afternoon until our embarking time for the ship. The place is so clean, the room and bathroom are spacious, the garden area is nice to relax! Location is also a great plus!!! 5 min walk to train station and Haifa port. Plenty of cafe’s, restaurants and shops around. Highly recommend!!

Reviewed Jul 3, 2023The person in reception really explained all about the place and the city, in so much detail that from all my years traveling around the world I have never had such good explanation, congratulations The Brazilian girl who cleans does a great job. Very clean, congratulations too It feels like home, the bathroom is very clean and white. Very close to many places to eat. Laundry is next to the building. During my stay there was only me and other roommate, so I was very lucky and had time to rest. The room was for 8 ppl, so I was very thankful that we were only 2. Train station is very close, so you don't have to wake much with your luggage. Same for taking the bus, is close by. I went to Nazareth from here and the bus was just 2 blocks away, 4 minutes. So the location is very convenient

Reviewed May 7, 2023I loved my stay at Port Inn! Despite having many rooms, the hostel had a really cosy vibe. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, even if I arrived in the middle of the night or needed a taxi in a rush. They have a cute courtyard with plants, resident cats, painted murals and beautifully tiled tables. The kitchen is really comfortable - I appreciate that I could make my own meals and have breakfast and coffee in the courtyard! There are many stores and bakeries nearby, and amazingly it's walking distance from everything - the train station, beach, Baha'i gardens, city centre etc. Definitely recommend, especially if you're independent, easy-going and appreciate good vibes. A great choice for a 10-day stay.
Would be nice to have vegan milk options for the coffee.

The building is older, but with excellent facilities: outside patio with tables and chairs, inside sitting room with TV, dining room, computer setup with 3 computers, iron and ironing board, kitchen, multiple bathroom- toilet options, free phone for local calls...
Not like is a little strong, but less than ideal could be: Bunk beds a little tight, the space between bottom and top. No stove only microwave, though otherwise quite adequate kitchen.

Smokers everywhere. Cats inside and out. Didn’t clean the room 1 day, probably due Sabbath? We No breakfast, no towels. All of the other hostels I stayed in, in Israel provided towels and breakfast.
