Great place. It exceeded our expectations in every aspect of our stay. Spacious, clean room, quality bedding, rich breakfast, warm hospitality. A rare find!

Πολύ καθαρά και ευρύχωρα δωμάτια, άνετες βεράντες με ωραία θέα στη θάλασσα. Αξιοπρεπέστατο πρωινό με τοπικά προϊόντα. Η αρχιτεκτονική του κτηρίου κερδίζει τον επισκέπτη και ο χώρος αποπνέει μία αριστοκρατική φινέτσα.

Odlican porodicni hotel sa lepim ambijentom. Christos i njegova porodica jako ljubazni. Odlicna higijena i cistoca u sobama i zajednickom prostoru. Dobar i ukusan dorucak. Svi se trude da vam se nadju i predloze mesta za posetu i hranu u najboljim grckim restoranima. Osecali smo se dobrodoslo i jako prijatno. Prvi put u Grckoj da je wifi stvarno odlican. Plaza u Polutri, udaljena oko 130m od objekta par minuta niz ulicu, je za svaku preporuku iako smo obisli vise plaza u kraju, sa par barova i tavernom u kojoj je hrana odlicna bez velike guzve (malo veca vikendom ali nista znacajno jer je plaza zaista duga). Sve preporuke!

We had such a great time at Byzantinon. The room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent and the place is 2 minutes from the beach. The owner tried to understand what are our plans in the area and gave us recommendations (restaurants, beaches etc.) accordingly. It exceeded our expectations and we were actually sorry for not booking for a longer period.

Καλαίσθητο κτήριο, άνετα και φιλόξενα δωμάτια και πάνω απ όλα ευγενικοτατοι άνθρωποι που μας εξυπηρέτησαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο, γιατί είχαμε και ένα πρόβλημα κινητικότητας, για το οποίο μας διευκόλυναν τα μεγιστα. Με λίγα λόγια μοναδική εμπειρία από κάθε άποψη!!

Το μόνο που δεν μας άρεσε είναι ότι έπρεπε να φύγουμε κάποια στιγμή!! Με την πρώτη ευκαιρία θα μας ξαναδούν οι άνθρωποι εκεί!!

Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, ιδανικό για οικογενειακές διακοπές, για ανθρώπους που επιζητούν ηρεμία και ποιότητα στις διακοπές τους. Καθαρό ξενοδοχείο, φιλικό προσωπικό, υπέροχο πρωινό, εγγύτητα στην παραλία (3 λεπτά με τα πόδια) και σε εστιατόρια. Η αισθητική του χώρου είναι ένας επιπλέον παράγοντας που προσθέτει στην δημιουργία της κατάλληλης ατμόσφαιρας.

Struttura bella e di recente ristrutturazione, camera molto grande con angolo cottura ,grande frigorifero, letto comodo e bellissimo terrazzo attrezzato,unica grande pecca il bagno...con vasca(che già personalmente trovo scomoda) con nappa doccia e con tenda 😭 veramente scomoda e sinceramente nel 2026 non la posso giustificare! Veramente molto cortese tutto il personale,buona anche la colazione.

Il bagno assolutamente da rivedere!

Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο, καλόγουστο,προσεγμένο μέχρι την τελευταία λεπτομέρεια. Άνετοι χώροι, φωτεινοί , καθαροί. Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο.Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία. Ενδυκνειται για ανθρώπους που θέλουν ηρεμία. Η κ. Βασιλική και ο κ. Χρήστος, ιδιοκτήτες του ξενοδοχείου, είναι πάρα πολύ ευγενικοί, πρόσχαροι, εξυπηρετικοί. Το προτείνω χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

"Filoxenia"wird hier gelebt und dem Gast vom ersten Moment an vermittelt. Mann fühlt sich im Hotel rundum wohl,dazu kommt noch die ausgezeichneten Lage, und das Essen in den Tavernen nebenan wat immer hervorragend. Man kann sehr gut Wanderungen unternehmen entlang der Küste und bis zum Meer sind es 3 Gehminuten. Alles ist ruhig und entspannt.

Very welcoming reception.The room was spacious, great bed and well furnished with a lovely view over the water. Well equipped bathroom too. Very good breakfast served on the terrace and free parking too? Highly recommended. 10/10!

Everything. The room was huge and well equipped, breakfast was excellent and the host made us very welcome, it was a short walk to the beach where there were a few restaurants along the pebbly beach and sunbeds and umbrellas. So good we are returning in a few days.

A large comfortable suite with views over the coast. Located in a small quiet village set on a beautiful bay, with good swimming. A family run business offering a warm and engaging welcome.

La terrasse de la chambre, la taille de l’appartement, l’immédiate proximité de la plage, tout étant dans un environnement très calme et de campagne, l’accueil en français du propriétaire !

Décoration quasi inexistante dans la chambre, pas de quoi se faire du thé

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit Balkon mit Meerblick. Sehr ruhig gelegen, bestens zur Erholung.

Die Austattung der Küche ist recht beschränkt.

Nous y sommes restés qu'une nuit mais nous y avons passé um super moment! C'est beau, confortable, proche de la plage, ça mérite de rester plus longtemps! L'accueil est exceptionnel : les échanges en français avec Georges étaient enrichissants. Le petit déjeuner est super! Christos nous a conseillé un super restaurant "romantique" avec de bons produits de la mer .

C'est passé trop vite .....une nuit s'est trop court

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, and the management and staff were very welcoming and helpful people. We managed to lose the room key but the manager resolved the issue without fuss, very professional in resolving ingredients the matter.

Je voyage en moto un garage fermé bien à l’abri, la gentillesse de George qui parle français et de son épouse un accueil touchant. La propreté de l’établissement un grand appartement avec une superbe literie un wifi qui marche très bien. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour un prix très raisonnable.

Rustige ligging, mooie omgeving, lekkere bedden, schone kamer, lekker ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke behulpzame zorgvuldige eigenaar.

Very large room with balcony, decent breakfast, warm staff

We got a lovely welcome by Christos at Byzantinon hotel. The place is spotless clean and rooms are very large. (I mentioned tis to Christos and he said ours was one of the smaller rooms!) The area is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Christos advised me a nice hike. Very good breakfast. In total: great value for money, can recommend!

Ζεστή φιλοξενεία, ευγενικές παρουσίες. Πλήρες πρωινό, πολύ ευρύχωρα δωμάτια άρτια εξοπλισμένα και με μικρή κουζίνα, καθώς και πολύ όμορφη διακόσμηση, συνδυάζοντας την πέτρα με το ξύλο. Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, ήσυχο και γραφικό μέρος.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο, ευρύχωρο και πολύ άνετο, με όλες τις παροχές που χρειαζόμασταν. Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και πάντα πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει με χαμόγελο. Το πρωινό ήταν απλά φανταστικό – τεράστια ποικιλία, φρέσκα και ποιοτικά προϊόντα και άψογη οργάνωση. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέξουμε ξανά!

Beautiful hotel, run by a family, lovely people. Very, very clean. Good location, close to the beach, not far from Leonodio and all climbing areas. Parking space available at the site. Some good food options nearby as well. Breakfast very good, and plenty of food.

The only little downside was a curtain in the shower. I personally do not like them in general, but apart of that everything was perfect.

George welcomed us with great charm and funny stories. Very clean room with love for detail and beautiful view. Best bed we had in Greece. Christos and his parents are an exampel for the best greek hospitality. Christos gave us useful information about places to visit and we had nice conversations. The breakfast is lovely with home made pies and marmelades. We will come back. Thanks a lot

Chris and George run a hotel that exceeds all expectations. You can tell from the moment you arrive that there are decades of hospitality experience behind how this place is managed and maintained. Greece is such a wonderful country and for anyone lucky enough to be in the area and experience time at the Byzantinon will know what true hospitality feels like!

The setting of the Hotel Byzantinon and the views on the sea and on the mountains are perfect. The rooms are comfortable and elegant. The warm hospitality of the host and of staff is tremendous. The breakfast offers a rich selection and is delicious.

The hotel is solidly built and overall very beautiful. The owner communicates well and is highly interested in the well being of his guests. The hotel is close to a beach and also close to several restaurants. A buffet like breakfast is served every morning. Our room came with a balcony (sea view) and a kitchen, which is clearly a plus for people staying longer who want an alternative to the local restaurants. The Elona Monastery in the mountains is nearby, west of Leonidio.

The location of the Byzantinon is great, distant enough from the town of Leonidio, but also close enough for shopping etc. It is also close to the beach (east walking distance). Its tucked away nature also means that it is not easily accessible by car, i.e., the drive from Nafplio takes ca. 90 minutes via a winding coastal road. The road through the mountains to Sparta is not recommended. Most hotels in Europe serve cappucino and espresso as an option. This was not available at Byzantinon.

L'accueil très prévenant et soucieux de notre bien-être, la gentillesse, le standing du lieu et du personnel. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet propose des produits variés faits maison pour certains ( excellentes confitures, œufs parfaits, charcuteries, fruits, viennoiseries maisons etc...

L'hotel est idéalement placé dans un village cotier avec une plage à deux pas. Quelques restaurants dans le secteur, accessibles a pied et très bon. Le propriétaire est attentionné, le petit déjeuner servi en terrasse très varié et délicieux. Chambre très bien.

A cozy, relatively new, boutique hotel in the charming hamlet of Poulithra Leonidion. Located just three blocks from the beach, this cozy hotel was delightful. Clean, spacious rooms, ours overlooking the sea was romantic and comfortable. An excellent breakfast buffet with a nice assortment of eggs, meats, cheeses and other items from which to choose. We only spent one night here but would definitely return for a longer stay. As a bonus, the restaurant closest to the hotel on the beach was excellent. They have an extensive menu and everything we had there was fantastic.

There's little to complain about at the hotel but if I had to say something negative it would be that our room had a bathtub/shower combination. While many would like the fact that there's a tub, I found it constraining while taking a shower.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, mit sehr nettem Gastgeber und freundlichem Personal. Es gab sehr leckeres Frühstück. Das Zimmer war groß mit Küchenzeile und Kühlschrank und Sitzgelegenheiten auch auf dem Balkon. Die Empfehlung für das Abendessen war auch sehr gut.

Ich fand das Bad ein bisschen klein, aber das hat den positiven Gesamteindruck nicht beeinflusst.

Excellent accueil de Nicoletta! Chambre très agréable avec grande terrasse sur mer. Excellente literie. Climatisation. Joli environnement fleuri. Le village et ses tavernes (Myrtoo) est très agréable, au bord de la mer. Personnel très sympathique et petit-déjeuner très bon! La marmelade maison est un régal! Le studio dispose également d’une cuisine toute équipée. Aucun bruit!!!

The most modern and solid hotel during our Greece trip. There’s lots of attention to detail . Personnel was exceptionally friendly and helpful ! As we were travelling with a motorcycle, the underground garage was much appreciated !

Εκπληκτικό κατάλυμα σε πάρα πολύ ωραίο και ήσυχο μέρος δίπλα στη θάλασσα. Ευχαριστήθηκαμε την διαμονή μας και την γνωριμία μας με τους ιδιοκτήτες που ήταν εκεί για ότι χρειαζόμασταν!! Τέλειο και προσεγμένο πρωϊνό. Πάντα και όλα πεντακάθαρα!! Συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα και φυσικά όταν ξαναβρεθούμε στα μέρη θα το προτιμήσουμε!!!!

A fabulous family run hotel in a wonderful location. The hotel is beautiful inside and out and we had a wonderful sea view from our private terrace. The breakfast had many options and was delicious. The best part was the wonderful staff. We are so glad we found this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer.

Eξαιρετική η διαμονή μας. Πολύ φιλικό και οικογενειακό το περιβάλλον. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν συνεχώς δίπλα μας με πληροφορίες και διευκρινήσεις για την τοποθεσία. Υπέροχο το πρωινό σε ένα περιβάλλον μέσα στα δένδρα και τη δροσιά. Η καθαριότητα ήταν καθημερινή. Η επιλογή μας ήταν πολύ καλή και συνιστούμε το κατάλυμα αυτό ανεπιφύλακτα.Σας ευχαριστούμε.Κάνατε την διαμονή μας πολύ ευχάριστη και οικογενειακή.

What a joy to have discovered this place. The road leading to Byzantinon is absolutely magnificent. The house is super pleasant, with a view of the sea, and the welcome from the owners is wonderful. They are very warm, cultured and full of good advice. The hotel is comfortable, impeccably clean and bright. The place is super calm and relaxing. Within minutes of our arrival we were already regretting having only booked for one night. The nearby beach is beautiful, the water is clear and the restaurant by the water is divine. The breakfast is very good with fresh and homemade products. And of course a visit to the magnificent village of Leonidio is a must. Thank you for this magnificent (too short) stay. We will come back as soon as we can, of course!

The location is so peaceful and relaxing, the beach is a few minutes away. The view from the rooms is gorgeous, sea in the front and mountains in the back. The hotel is fantastic with very kind and helpful staff.
