Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The food was definitely a high point! There was a wide selection, including snacks available to order throughout the day. We especially loved the dining variety: You could order your own pizza in the evening if you wanted a break from the main buffet. The sushi restaurant was my favorite. The do-it-yourself BBQ was a fun addition. The cocktail and alcohol selection was excellent, and I loved starting every morning with an iced coffee in the heat. Another huge benefit was the free daily shuttle to various places. This was fantastic for exploring the island without having to rent a car. The tour desk was helpful and informative, and a special shout-out goes to one very helpful reception lady whose name I unfortunately didn't catch—thank you! Areas for Improvement Slow and Unfriendly Service The service for drinks at the main bar was disappointingly slow. Although there were many staff members walking around, only one person seemed to be working the bar, leading to long waits. To make matters worse, the unfriendliness of certain staff was very annoying. Many times, it felt like we were a nuisance just for asking for a drink—there was a lot of visible huffing and puffing. This made the few genuinely nice staff members, like Joanie, really stand out. Housekeeping and Cleanliness Cleanliness needs attention. Our room wasn't fully cleaned for three days in a row; we just received new towels. Furthermore, on some days, rubbish was left on the side of walkways for hours.
Kunuku is perfect for families. It provides a waterpark, multiple slides and pools. The only downside is that food options are limited.
The check was a headache. We had to wait in excess of an hour to have access to room. Besides that the staff was very helpful. I visited in May so some activities were not in operation but those that were was great. The place is quiet, clean, inviting and fun. Will definitely be back again.
This resort definitely caters more to families and locals. I visited with my boyfriend, and my biggest issue was the lack of respect for privacy. We had our ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door, and staff entered our room without permission twice. Once while I was in the bathroom. On the bright side, the food was decent with some variety each day. Staff interactions were a hit or miss . Some were friendly, but one bartender in particular took our order and never returned. It has potential but I won’t be back
The night breeze was really refreshing in Curaçao, the safest place we've been to thus far
the kids loved it
Upon arrival we were informed the room needed to be “checked”, even though we arrived 45 minutes later than the check-in time. We waited for 15 minutes and then decided to go wait by the room, which was clearly ready. The first night our electricity shut off/ on approx. 10 times, when informing the front desk of this mishap they nonchalanty said this was the local electricty company, and would not compensate for this issue. Being locals, we are well aware that this issue would not be caused by the electricity company and stated this to them as well. The buffet restaurant was okay, sometimes things would run out. Or certain areas not even utilized to provide more options. The pizza restaurant was good, waiting time a bit long but they made this clear with a sign at the ordering counter. The snack bar ran out of wings, which I found odd and the burger was not beef but ‘frikandel’ patty instead. The upsides, the room (family room) was spacious enough for us as a family of 4. The building we were assigned has a parking space, which is not the case for all buildings so this was a pro. The waterpark was the main reason we chose this stay for the kids and it was a hit. We would most probably not return for a stay in the near future but a day pass most likely for the kids to enjoy the waterpark.
The property was very hilly and being on crutches made it difficult most staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good many vegetarian options
Check-in felt rushed and unwelcoming. We were handed wristbands, given our room number, and directed to scan a QR code for resort information—without any real orientation. There was no explanation of where our room was until I asked, no mention that the buffet was about to close (which would have been helpful after a long trip with two small children), and no offer to assist with luggage. The reception area itself is quite small, lacks seating, and isn’t equipped to handle the high volume of arriving guests. Overall, the arrival experience felt cramped and disappointing. Check-out was especially frustrating. We weren’t informed that a generator installation was scheduled at the main entrance on the morning of our departure. As a result, we had to carry our luggage up to the gym area and wait outside in the heat for our cab. Once again, no one offered assistance with our bags, which made the experience unnecessarily stressful—especially with kids. Overall, my kids had a great time. The resort is great for families thanks to the variety of water slides & exceptional buffet, but the customer service in the front desk & bar areas really needs improvement.
good food
Have some fan in the living room in the 3 bedroom apartment.
Clean property. More suitable for families. Food is average at best. Limited day time activities on property outside of water activities which are heavily filled with kids. Nightlife is nonexistent on property. Close to town which was a plus. Overall great family property. Would not recommend it for couples' getaway or singles.
We stayed from June 19-24 2025 in one of the 3 bedroom villas. One of the sinks in the master bedroom had a leak. The shower isn’t fully enclosed so the water runs over the little lip thing that is supposed to prevent the water from getting outside the shower. There were medium and small roaches. The microwave in the kitchen didn’t work. Breakfast was plain. Same options every morning. Lunch and dinner was average. Nothing to write home about. While the resort does have day passes for locals, it creates a displeasure for paying guests. It felt like the locals were given precedence over everyone else. It’s okay to have options for locals but instead of closing the pools and other services for everyone. Close those services for the locals and allow guests to enjoy the facilities. 2 employees that deserve to be recognized and appreciated. Maybe even given a raise are Curty and Tesari (I know that’s not how to spell her name). They both work evenings to closing mostly by the pizza bar. They made our stay fantastic. Most of the other staff were not friendly. Making us feel like we were an inconvenience when asking for something. Most importantly, being a kid friendly resort more options for young children would be great. And please please please consider having food options past 9 PM.
The staff, service, drinks and the resort facilities were good....i particularly did not like the structure of the washroom in the 3 bedroom apartment...when bathing the water kept spilling over to the toilet area...I am a vegetarian and the options in the buffet for me was.very limited ..not to mention the repitition of the same menu in many instances...The thing that i was most disgusted by were the amount of flies around the food in the buffet and the fact that no.attempts were being made by staff to get rid of them...
Beautiful resort as well as friendly staff. I really enjoyed my vacation. Only note the water park and slides should be left on later hours for guests not only the for the daypass hours.
The bartender aas incridible- i higly recommend following @kashbartender on instagram. Also the front desk girl nakeisha, was super kind and took great care of us. There are a couple of thing that need fixing but overall everything was wonderfull.
All inclusive yet you have to pay for bottled water. Housekeeping claimed restocking of toiletries was not complementary. The food options were quite poor and beverages were limited. Some of the staff were helpful some were definitely not! Everything was more of a motel quality. Definitely would not recommend.
+++
The resort facilities and water parks were fun and easily accessible. The rooms needed to be more clean with frequent room service every day.
The check-in process took extremely long as there was a long line with only two staff checking people in, there was also nowhere to wait inside, so the line was outside in the heat after a long day of traveling. Finally getting into the room, it was much smaller than pictured. The restroom smelled like urine (the maintenance manager Jesus was the only helpful person), the TV was broken, which they said they would switch out immediately and never happens , they pushed two twin beds together without anything holding them together, which made sleep that night extremely uncomfortable, they did not give any blanket for the room, and there was literally one pillow per person. Then the best thing was while I expect to see things like lizards, I certainly did not expect to see the huge cockroach run across the bathroom wall that I’ve ever seen in my life. Being that this was for my birthday celebration, the cockroach was certainly my last I demanded a room change, which Jesus was extremely helpful with, but other than that day of cleaning up the new room for us, we could not even get towels from housekeeping, staff or get them to come clean up the room And when I went to the front desk about it, they told me that they can offer me beach towels so that I can shower, but that they could not tell me when housekeeping would come. Needless to say, I will never waste my money here again.
Service was not on point. I had to call three times just to have someone clean the room and it has been two days since anyone even come. No service this place is not a real resort more like an Air BNB that feeds you when your only allowed to eat. The price they charged for this resort was not worth it I asked around the island and everyone said the same. You can spend the same for a better resort on the island. We stay as much as we can outside the resort. Ooh and a can of soda at the resort is $4.50cent oh my god.
Very noisy and mediocre housekeeping
This resort has limited food and drinks, everything closed off at 11pm. if your flight is delayed and come in late there is no food or snacks. Not much variety of food. The drinks were awful, only the beers are ok. No top shelves liquor or proper mix drinks. The staff were not friendly at all... The rooms are not cleaned, the cleaners only come twice a week to change the linen. There were roach, bed bugs bite me up. Overall, I was really disappointed with the resort, especially the cleaning the rooms. I personally will not go that resort anymore and I will not recommend anyone to go.
Excellent except the food was just "ok". This is typical for all inclusives. The location was good and was convenient.
Everything
Great stay, good menu options, great environment, great staff, great accommodation
The property was great for the kids with plenty of pool and water slides and even a water park. The rooms def could have been cleaner and the staff was not pleasant at times !
We were there in this property for only 1 night. The food options were very limited, and long lines for hot food. There were also mosquitoes in there...
Spacious and Quite place to relax. Super good service and staff
The food and dining room staff are very friendly
Pros: Is all inclusive and that’s it and you can save a lot of money. Cons: The food is limited you don’t have too much options, the personal service is poor and unfriendly. The rooms is okay but smell rare and the water of the bathroom. For adults doesn’t have entertainment and the only entertainment they have? Is a live music and close at 22:00. The internet doesn’t work properly.
Desastre. Check in recien a las 17 hs, dos horas esperando en el piso sin que nos den una silla. Cuando llegamos a la habitacion sucia y el baño mojado, perdia agua, no me lo repararon en toda mi estadia,
Overall this resort nice. I agreed with the star rating it has. The food at the buffet had a good variety. Staff were polite. Loved the spacious apartment for our family and how quiet the resort felt- it was full but didnt feel crowded. There were areas for improvement. The pool closure times were varied so the waterslides were shut off early when our kids still wanted to enjoy them and others were never open despite us asking for the operating time which disappointed them. The frozen drink mixes were not ready until dinner some days and when you want a cool drink on a hot day, this can negatively impact your experience. There was an issue with ants in the rooms which was not a huge issue except for the one time they were all over our freshly changed towels, which made us not want to use them. There entertainment was geared to a quieter crowd ranging from BINGO to karaoke. Though this can be nice for some it was not as enjoyable for children and young adults who would like a more. Finally there was not a lot in regards to dining. The two booked dinners were for sushi and bbq. We only experienced the bbq, but found it quite disappointing as we were expected to cook our own food- not what we expected for an all-inclusive. Overall this was a good resort and we would return but if we did we would have more clarity on expectations.
Great hotel with the all inclusive package. The food was rotated and the drinks and cocktails were flowing
Great Experience for a one night stay , The staff was amazing, very welcoming, nice , super prepared !
it was good and the slides were my favorite part
Love this place, we had a amazing time, will definitely go back.
It’s a nice place, gread for kids
Great and Friendly Staff
The food options were very limited...either the buffet (all meals) or the snack shacks/pizza for limited hours. This is a resort for kids/families & they take over. Since the resort sells day passes & don't even think about trying to get to the bar or snack shack during the day pass hours (which I think are 9-5). The pools are also super crowded during the day pay hours. Once the day pass crowd clears out...ahhh...relaxation! But the pools are only open until 7pm, which means that's it's only available to those staying at the resort for 2 hours. There is no reason the pools couldn't be open after 7 since most would love to sit out/swim after dinner hours (until 9 /10). The snack shacks & pizza were chaotic to say the least. There is no clear line or queue. Someone could be standing 3 deep on one side & others just come up on the other sides & get served first. They need to fix this as it was very frustrating. The staff was less than friendly, enthusiastic, etc. Didn't feel like we were catered to, but more of a nuisance when requesting drinks, food, etc. The room we had was a basic king/2 twin beds. The doors slammed at all hours of the night as there is nothing stopping this. We even tried to close the doors quietly, but it's almost impossible. They need to have a silencer to prevent this as it was very frustrating late/early. Lacked maintenance...towel bars/lights falling off. Much more, but limited on my characters. Would not stay here again.
I stayed in at the resort for 8 nights, with my husband and 5 & 6 year old kids. I wanted to start off by saying my five year old son had gotten food poisoning on our fourth evening we were there. He was awake all night SICK and we had to stay in the room for the whole of the next day! And needless to say he refused to eat at the resort remainder of our stay. Which lets me get into the buffet area every time we walked into the restaurant to get our food there was never anything available. We would wait and wait and wait for the employees to replenish the food .We decided to get there early one day the lettuce was out but dressing came 45 minutes later, which is just one example. If we asked anybody for anything it was as if we were bothering them. Plenty of attitude from the employees, they would have conversations with each other and act as if we weren’t even standing there! They would be on their phone and when we went up to the bar to get a drink, they would sigh with discussed because we were bothering them! One of your employees was even standing there popping her pimple on her face behind the bar!!! In the buffet area, there was always food on the ground. One evening, I walked in, and I slipped on what looked to be a french fry that was stepped on and smashed from somebody else and almost fell. On another evening we got back to the hotel after eating dinner out my son was hungry so I told my husband to go get a pizza. (Let’s be safe, how bad can the pizza be) he went
An average property for the value
It was good but I didn’t like the fact they don’t mentioned that eveything is closed at 11pm on the website before booking which sucks because you have kids but also adult at the resort that wants to enjoy themselves. If they didn’t want kids there then they wouldn’t have a smoking areas everywhere literally so I don’t get why drinks are done at 11pm That was the only thing I didn’t like but the food is good and staff are okay
Perfect family vacation
Dinning facility is ok ,food variety and quality terrible, only 1 small soap for two people, 3 botle of water upon arrival, room housekeeping 2 time weekly, no service to move the luggage to and out the facility no refri arrounf the hotel for water softdrink and other needs , no lobby you have to wait outside under tge sun for service, I booked for two week and only stayed i week I cancel the reservation and move back home , dwfinitle NOT RECOMENDED
Really family friendly hotel that caters to all ages!!! The kids loved it and despite the great beaches in Curacao spending a day at the hotel us a lot to do with the slides and playgrounds. The restaurants and bars were great as well. My only area for improvement could have been the food options for lunch and breakfast as the menu was pretty much the same everyday. Overall rating 8/10!!!!
It's a great hotel specially if you have kids. The internet was unstable in certain areas.
Loved it
We had such an amazing time here! If I had to describe it, I would term it quickly, I would say that its the Walmart of All Inclusives. In that I mean that it has everything that you need there, but it isnt super fancy. It was just right for us and we loved it! To be honest, we have never stayed at an all inclusive before. Its always been out of our price range. When we saw the pricing on this, we thought either it was an error (some all inclusive hotels list the hotel room but its just the room at a certain price point) or there was something really wrong with it. But for the price and the included water park, we decided to take a chance and we are so glad we did! For starters, this is definitely a family friendly resort, not somewhere I would go on my honeymoon or anything. There are kids zooming around going to the pools, and isnt what I would consider fancy or romantic. I went with my 2 year old who really mostly hung out in the 2 kid pools, but the other pools were cool too. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the snack bar food was included, the buffet for all meals was included and all drinks (including cocktails) were available. I even had mimosas with breakfast every morning! The buffet was basic but hearty with plenty of options. (Only thing I would NOT recommend was the sushi restaurant). The resort was clean and beautiful. There were plenty of lounge chairs. We loved the live music at night. There was a kids club as well. Rooms were very spacious.
Great experience
Enjoyable and fun
Well kept food was great service on point.
Everything was neat and staff was friendly
The mattress was very uncomfortable as it had a sink in the middle, the room were never cleaned while staying here, they have one tiny soap for 5 days had to ask at front desk, there were pigs and cats on compound . Other than that the place is nice
Home away from home
never again
Would not recommend or stay at this property again
A great location for your family to stay.
We visited there in May 2024 and it was a great season. Not so much humidity and no bugs. They have 6 pools including 2 kids ones and 3 big sliders. My daughters, 10 and 6 years old, really enjoyed them. After they slept, my wife and I enjoyed music night from the balcony. I strongly recommend to visit with all-inclusive. No shop near the hotel.
This resort is terrible. I’ve been to resorts and always come with cash for tip but this resort, the employees are rude, they are super slow, they don’t help. There’s no music at all throughout the resort, we had to carry our own luggage up a hill and upstairs to the room. The food was decent with no much options. Never been to a resort like this. Definitely all older people who aren’t the nicest either. I would prefer anyone looking for a good time is going to the city because closer to the airport is not worth it
They need to work on their customer service skills. The ppl in reception ignore you, and the ppl in the restaurant go out of their way to make your stay uncomfortable. You have to pay for a bucket of ice, pizza that they said was free, and the food is horrible. Honorable mention to Vichisn and Billy. They take their job seriously.
For the amount my family and I spent on this trip it was not worth it. Staff was ok, property was subpar, Amenities were average.
For families with small children is a fine option Rent a car if you want to move around. Taxi service is expensive and unreliable. Food is okay. Service is not what you would expect in other Caribbean All inclusive. Example: no one would ever ask you if need anything, if you want a drink, or if you need help carrying your bag 3 floors up stairs. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. The island is so pretty! People are nice. Natural, safe and welcoming.
Horrible estibe 4 noches desde el.primwr dia la cama llena de ormigas no limpian las tuallas quieren las usen a diario no las canbia si dejas un base no recojen lo dejan ai la.comida horrible mal servicio no.recommiendo este hotel para nada Horrible stretches 4 nights from the.primwr day the bed full of ants do not clean the towels want to use them daily do not change them if you leave a base do not pick it leave ai la.comida horrible bad service no.recommend this hotel for nothing
Food was horrible every night same food. No fruit variations. Check in was bad room small and hot. Terrible experience
Very few food choices for dinner and what was offered didn’t taste good. Staff was not friendly…very little customer service.
It was our first time on a resort and we really loved it! The pools and the food & drinks were all close by and it was not crowd at all
Good spot to relax and disconnect as long as you can deal with some slow service. Great value for money plus the shuttles to beach and city is a plus.
everithing was great! thanks
Property was cute but food was not great. A little ways out of town, but close to beaches. Staff very friendly and apartment was very clean.
Not enough food choices to eat , served the same thing everyday , spend more money at a better hotel
Very Friendly & Clean Must say very nice for the kids
The stay was good, a little upgrade to the property would be nice but it’s a good all inclusive stay.
Buildings and pools are nicely laid out. Good buffet and shuttle options for beach. Family room was spacious. Snack options limited. Bed matress was uncomfortably worn.
There are no elevators on this property so if you’re on the 3rd floor, expect to hike up the stairs carrying your suitcases. They offered no assistance with this. On the first day of our stay, there was no water to our room for 2 hours so taking a shower was out of the question. When I reported the issue, I was told that this was common on mornings because everyone at the hotel was probably using water at the same time so there was limited flow. I was told that there was nothing they could do about it. The food was unappealing, limited and tasted poorly; we chose to venture outside of the hotel to purchase our meals. There was one bartender there (Jaydeon) who made excellent cocktails and was very attentive and hospitable. His service was the only thing that salvaged our experience there.
The stay was mediocre. I’ve never stayed at an all inclusive where there weren’t restaurants or food available 24 hours. The dining is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner only. The snack shacks that they have pick and choose when they will be open and when they are open they are out of everything. The food is not good at all. The rooms are ok. A bit outdated. There was no hot water at night time and the water in the shower floods the entire restroom. One of my family members room was infested with ants and they wouldn’t move them. The pools are dirty as well. Oh and bring your own bath towels as they only have the drying towels no wash cloths.
.
The resort is very basic and that was great, the food menu needs to have a huge shake up because there was absolutely no variety in terms of Breakfast, lunch & Dinner. Our rooms were nice and clean and the AC worked great, sp great that they need to provide comforters because even at the highest temperature possible the room gets pretty cold at night. Staff was great, although sometimes they just need to be more attentive to the guests. Other than that the stay was okay, not horrible but not fantastic either.
I will never ever come back to this hotel. The staff is so unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. The food choice is minimal. The house keepers don’t clean well. They don’t say welcome or give u a welcome drink. They have you bring your own bags to your room.
Todo fue super. Habitación muy cómoda
Only one courtesy van per day to the city. That van overbooked every day.. hotel needs multiple vans.
Excellent Hotel
Nice and clean room. Too far away from main city and they could be more creative with food
I
They are preparing to receive a lot of people. the food was always the same. and there wasn't enough red meat. the bread toaster broke and there was no other. They have to improve a lot if they want to receive guests.
I gave the property an average rating (3 stars) because there was some Cons such as no one ever came to clean the room the entire week I stayed without me having to ask after 5days and constantly asking for toiletries such as tissue. Also for a kids hotel I would have liked to see entertainment , there was live music which was nice but no performance, which would have been nice added bonus. However on the good side it is very kid friendly and family centered , the food got better and better everyday and they had variety ( which I was surprised from other reviews) they did have a free shuttle to take your to beach and downtown wilmestad which was nice because taxis are crazy expensive here. The staff was very nice and accommodating ( besides the hiccup with the room cleaning) Overall it was good for the price, if these suggestions or issues are fixed I think they have the potential to be great.
The property and ammenties were great but the food choices were limited.
We are you happy that we chose to stay here. Great all inclusive at a reasonable price. Location was great. Secure parking for your rental car. Convenient location. We visited a couple different beaches each day. Snorkeled more on this trip then I have before. Several pools great place for families and couples. Had a lap pool that was for adults that was a great place to spend the day. Would definitely come back!
It was great
Pools
The place was filthy in the pool area where the kids go into the pool had all iguana poop all over the place.. there was mold on the outside on the chairs that you lay on.. The place was filthy nobody picked up any of the debris that was around the area.. be warned about going to this place we are Americans in this is definitely not a four-star more like a two star.. I can’t tell you how dirty I was and the food wasn’t that great same thing over and over.. The room has a terrible smell to it like a moldy smell.. and they don’t have American outlets..
The rooms were large with a balcony in almost every room
ROBOT BAR..EPIC...
Amazing staff members sweet and friendly. Room was clean had a slight weird smell but it wasn't going to be a long stay so its okay.
Very satisfied and will return
Very poor you need to run from that place food horrible pool durty no ac plave need to go out off business
Every thing the staff the cleanliness
It was very convenient that one of the pool and bars was right outside our apartment, however, there was only air conditioning in our bedrooms. Our kitchen and living room were not air conditioned. Our bathroom smelled of sewage for 3 days with only cleaner splashed around in there. Being a home owner, and had experienced this before, I know they had a more serious problem that needs to be handled. Pools close at 7, last bar closes at 11. The dinner time buffet was generally good, however not a good selection of fruit.
I had an exceptional time. Will definitely visit again.
