Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs we liked the most. The room was clean and was well appointed, with nice lighting, good quality bedding, pillows, robes, and towels. Top notch service at the Elements restaurant from two different servers on different days, the manager greeted us and was friendly, also great service from bartenders Pete and Nate. The food was good quality and lots of patio seating.
The bed was not as comfy as last time, and it seemed to be wearing out in room 207B. Smaller room than last time. TV was small. The carpet in our room had a few stains, and the hallway outside the room needed a carpet cleaning from stains as well.
Great spot, close to golf course.
would love to have tee times allocated for hotel guests.
Clean, relaxing staff were great.

Indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub was great
Had some rude guests but not the hotels fault
The room was great, The staff were wonderful
the only thing we did not like was that we did not have a barbeque. I was under the assumption that all suites had one.
everything is great, the hotel is cool. warm pools and hot tube. we will come again!
1. we were a little bothered by the music at the pool which was loud. if we wanted to sleep during the day, it would have been difficult for us, but they turned it off pretty quickly (around 7pm). but the windows had good insulation, so with the windows closed you could barely hear it. 2. the air conditioner in our room (206 B) broke down at night and started making a terrible noise.
It was in a good area, the pool was nice, we had a veiw of the golf course which was good deck was nice!
Rooms were abit smaller than expected, felt a little dated as well.
Location. Room had a beautiful deck and view to the mountains.
The elevator wasn’t working so we had to either use the stairs to the 3rd floor or use another elevator and bring all our luggage on two different carts to our room. A very nice fellow helped us to move our luggage from one cart to the other going up three steps each move. The elevator wasn’t working to the underground parking so again had to do 3 flights of stairs. Our room was clean but the lighting in the room and bathroom was very dim and inadequate.
Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent with super friendly service.
Great central location, a ways off the highway, quiet, very nice pool, lots of parking, nicely finished and decorated, balcony is big, lots of underground parking, beds and linens are comfy, HVAC works good.
Standard rooms are surprisingly small and tight for a modern place, we paid over $330 per night and got the worst room in the hotel that was at the top of the stairs with an paper thin adjoining door to the next room. Neighbours talked loudly all night. Door slams were common. There was no desk in the room or even in the entire hotel. Elevator was busted for the entire stay although people were working on it so had to hoof bags up the stairs. Bathroom lighting was waaay over complicated.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and we had a lovely view from our room. I didn't get a chance to try all the amenities but it looked like there was a lot of great stuff, like the pool, hot tub and cafe.
The room was very small and dark. I had to get ready for a wedding and propped up a travel mirror on the floor. The gym was okay. Enough to get something done but nothing fancy. The hotel felt like a bit of a maze at times.
Nice big rooms, great pool area
The set up of the loft having a kitchen and washer and dryer is brilliant.
Everything is nice, but there's a fair amount of maintenance updates needed.
It is a beautiful property in a very good location
The promises about cleanliness and housekeeping were empty. One day we did not even get a housekeeping “refresh” of new towels and emptying the garbage. On the “full cleaning day” our sheets were not changed and the bathroom sinks were not cleaned.
Indoor and outdoor pools available!
We love the resort, this suite was by far our least favorite, just a little rough around the edges, missing light fixtures, broken switches, the door to patio was in really bad shape, the blinds were ratched. Just not whatnot have started to expect from copper point.
Se above, I dont read before I type
Good Swimming pool, nice rooms, good food
Bugs in the tub
The staff was really helpfull during the power outage. They find a way to offer us dinner. Without them I don’t know where we would have eaten.
Very disappointing stay. This resort was very pricey so I had high expectations. Check in was at 4. When I got there at 3:45 I found out they were still cleaning my room. I was offered to go to the pool but by the time we would change it would already be past 4 so I declined. I got my room just after 4pm. First thing I noticed was how dated the rooms are. I had a one bedroom suite and discovered my bed was memory foam! I have never experienced that in a hotel. There was also a dead wasp stuck to the floor in the bathroom which was gross. After that I went to my friends room where we were making dinner half way through the power went out. It came back in about 15 minutes later so we were able to finish cooking. Later we were hanging out and the power went out again. And stayed out. We had no idea what was going on but it was impacting the entire hotel they had a generator that provided light for the halls and common spaces. It was incredibly difficult to do anything in our rooms with no power and pitch black. Had to use my phone light for showering and noticed the water wasn’t very hot. Went to bed figuring the power would come on through the night. It did not. At 7am I walked to the front desk to try and find out what was going on. Turns out wildfires and storms knocked out power to bc hydro and impacted a bunch of towns in the area. But they had no other info. Very little disaster recovery preparedness.. lists of people started showing up asking questions, we saw some checking out.. we waited till 1030 and heard that their generator was on life support. There was no food, no pools, no idea when anything would be back up.. rumors were flying around it could be days. We were told water would be running out soon and that all hot water was gone. We decided to check out a day early and head home. When we were checking out they said that we would get a refund for that night and that they would put a note on file. I believed this would make it easier for the hotel to have less guests sitting around wondering what is happening. We found out that electricity was not restored until Monday at 6 am, had we stayed we would have spent the entire weekend with only 4 hours of power. No water, no food, nothing to do. A nightmare of traffic to get home on Monday… etc.. then to add insult to injury we just found out the resort is NOT honouring refunds for those of us that left early! I can understand that the power outage was out if the hotels control however, I didn’t pay $450 a night for 4 hours of power and a poor disaster recovery plan and staff that stated we would get a refund. Shame on copper point for not doing better. I most certainly will not be back and recommend driving out to revelstoke mountain resort for a much better stay, better resort, newly renovated rooms and better pricing
Heerlijk ruim appartement, fijn zwembad, schoon. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Vlakbij de mooie golfbaan.
De weg erheen is minder gezellig en de muziek bij het zwembad is keiharde housemuziek, terwijl er voornamelijk families met kleine kinderen zaten.
Room shows a little Wear and tear and housekeeping bothers you at 8 am or doesn’t come back at all
Check in bland. Not overly welcoming or showing any interest. No info about the area then or in the room. First room was very small and basic. (B room) Hairgrip on bathroom floor (not mine). Small bath tub with overhead shower. 1 bar of face soap and one bar of massage soap ...no shower gel. Don't like sharing a bar of soap with my husband let alone if it was a friend! No shower cap. Very small kitchen area. Coffee maker which actually made 2 cups at once-hallelujah. Our room did not lock properly. A hard push and it opened. Housekeeping lady then advised us we could go out for the day as she had told maintenence- big problem- NO inroom safe and NO secure door. Went to reception and asked to move rooms but told we had to wait to see how long maintenence would be. Then we're told maintenence would be there straight away (efficient). Went back to the room and met man from maintenence who said everything was fine and the foor entry had worked with his key! Obviously a misunderstanding and he came with us to the room and we showed him the issue- turned out the metal plate was missing from the door jamb!!! Maintenence supervisor was so apologetic. Back to reception and asked again if we coukd move rooms as it wasnt going to be a quick fix, there was no in-room safe and we wanted to go out. Poor attitude, mo apology for the issue or the delay bit had caused us being able to go out. Eventually got offered ground floor pet room or suite at extra cost p.n. Asked if there was a higher room-there was a suite (A room) on 3rd floor. We had to pay 50CAD pn + taxes. I didn't feel we should have had to pay as security issue was not our fault and I could not accept an animal room. Anyway, large kitchen area with huge fridge/feezer, microwave, range cooker. 1 ensuite (still mo shower gel or shower caps) and 1 separate toilet. Large sitting area. Utility room with washing machine and dryer. In room safe. Well worth the extra money. No room service during our 3 night stay (apparently should have been daily) Restaurant food was good in the evening (never tried any other time) and reasonable. Service very friendly. Swimming pool clean. Not enough sunloungers when we were there but it was very hot and very busy. Pool bar serving drinks and snacks. Pool towels provided and could be changed as needed. Situation of hotel is a bit out of Invermere- about 40min walk through an industrial estate. About 5 mins in the car. Plenty of free parking though in the town centre. On balance it was an OK hotel let down by staff attitude (restaurant staff not included) . Location may be an issue for some. Rooms ending with A are great, ending with B are much less so. A spa and coffee shop are coming soon which will be a good addition. Missing many touches that would be expected as standard in a 4*
Lovely property
Staff weren’t too attentive and despite an incident in the dining room that couldn’t be avoided, they did not check in to apologise or to see if everything was okay. Our breakfast took 1 hour from ordering to being served, really disappointing
Pool and location
The pool is always a plus, but no umbrellas during our stay until the last day, a little bit of an inconvenience! Ice at the front desk and not available on each floor is a little different; shouldn't have to walk 10,000 steps to get ICE Beds are way too small in the standard rooms, and the TVS were horrible - UPGRADE
We loved the pool with loungers and sport courts for pickleball
We were a bit disappointed with the fitness center and would prefer if it had at least two up-to-date treadmills
The location was good and I appreciated having my own private balcony. The resort was bike friendly and I was able lock up my bikes on the balcony.
The soundproofing between rooms is poor especially as we had an adjoining room and the group beside us was very loud.
The outdoor pool was fantastic, especially with the cabana serving beverages! Bottom of the pool could use a bit of a clean, but overall very good.
The wifi was very weak throughout and the AC unit is old, tired and very loud.
The staff was awesome and the location was great .
It was very clean!
The bed was actually very uncomfortable
Proximity to golf, restaurants and downtown. Love the outdoor pool
We got a room on the lower level. A bit dark and dingy and no view
We have been on a road trip through Canada for 3 weeks, staying in many hotels and cabins. Copper Point Resort ranks among the best! The room was beautiful, nice and spacious. It was nice to have the space to spread out and relax. The room was warm and comfortable and quiet. The bed was the most comfortable we've slept in for weeks. The restaurant downstairs was delicious with a great menu. I would highly recommend staying here. We played golf at the Point and wished we had stayed another night or two to play again, and play the other course.
comfortable bed
terrible service and food in the restaurant
Rooms are small, no breakfast until 8 AM and terrible coffee
Staff was great, friendly and very helpful. Loved the pool and fitness room.
I needed a desk to do some work - none in the room or other areas. Would have liked one good reading light.
Looks nice from the outside! Rooms were okay. Staff were friendly at check in.
For the price, everything was not worth it. I stayed recently at a hotel in another Kootenay town that had much better amenities and included breakfast and was very very comfortable for less, with a king size bed, in a boutique, heritage hotel building. Here, the bed was damaged but comfortable, however the pillows were very high and uncomfortable. The air conditioning was so loud, we basically didn't sleep. The price for a tiny room with a double bed was astronomical. The coffee was terrible and we didn't have mugs in our room. The parking lots were completely full so we had to park far away up on the road and the rooms were not very soundproof for the hallways. You could hear people talking in the halls at regular level. I hope I remember not to stay here again!
It was a nice stay
expensive for a small roomm
Spacious. Welcoming. So clean and lavish.
The ONLY downside (because this place is amazing) was the lack of smart TVs in the rooms as the chrome cast provided would not work.
Rooms were like a mini apartment! Choice of pools indoor and out were awesome. Very quiet in May so we had the pools to ourselves. Food was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful
Convenient location, available parking
The hotel was noisy. You could hear the other guests in their rooms and in the hallway.
The location is great and lots of beautiful views. The bedding was nice, as it was duvet style and I loved all the pillows. Also parking is easy.
My room was a double bed, I think I must have missed that on the confirmation. I just assumed it would be a queen. You needed to be 6 feet tall to use the mirror in my room, It was vertical and not horizontal.
Location, staff were great. Outside Pool and hot tub were nice but hot tub had too many people!
The bath towels were so small and thin they were like tea towels! Just worn out. No ice bucket in room. We could only get standard room but it was small even for standard. Double bed still being used!
Great
Coffee maker in room had a very bad taste to the coffee.
The resort was very nice. Good location. The fridge and microwave and the balcony were nice amenities. The Indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. Outdoor areas and pool were under construction. We got a reasonable rate.
The room was small. Looks a lot bigger in photos. Barely room for 2 people and had to find someplace to put 2 suitcases. Wouldn't be able to afford to stay there at regular rate. :(
Best location. Friendly staff. Wonderful facilities. It was a little misunderstanding and we received a fine bottle of champagne, chocolate and a nice note from the management! Lovely 🌹
Nice views, great pools
The bed sheets are polyester so I didn’t sleep the whole night
Pool
Dog poop on patio
Great location. Issues reported to Guest Services Manager have been addressed
Poor customer service, especially communication Hot tub out of service Facilities outdated, rooms and balconies in need of a GOOD cleaning
From the outside it looks modern and nice. Location is good and the restaurant is nice.
The rooms are so bad. The carpets look dirty, the rooms are extremely small. It looks like they took an old building and revamped it from the outside but didnt change anything inside. The staff is very curt. There was a lady who was a trainee who looked so shabby and unwelcoming. The way she spoke was as if she’s doing some kind of favour on us. We asked for extra duvet and the hotel couldnt even bother to give it with a cover- they just gave a bare duvet. I have never seen that in any hotel/ resort. The rooms are dingy and weren’t even cleaned properly. The toilet was clogged. We asked housekeeping for a toothpaste and they said you have to purchase it. We did and it was just $2 but it gives cheap motel vibes and no hospitality. Hated it. Would not recommend it at all.
spacious room , we had the suite and everything we need is in there ! pool is our fav too
nothing
Easy access
Parking lot is always full
The outdoor heated pool/hot tub were amazing. The views around the resort can't be beat. We went in March so the patios weren't open but this area would be even nicer in the summer months. The sport court was nice as well. The staff in the resturant were super helpful and a pleasure to talk with.
The coffee in the room was undrinkable. I'm not sure what the issue was but it had a strong metal taste to it. You could get better tasting coffee in the resturant but it was $4/cup which is crazy considering you could just go down the road to the Tim's and get 2 coffees for that price. The pots and pans in the room were all warped and made cooking in the room difficult.
Clean and comfortable
Very nice 3 night stay. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The chicken karaage burger was definitely 5 stars! There are some things that need to be fixed however. The fireplace didn't work in the main room. The lights on the mirror in the suite bathroom didn't work. There was a loose balcony post and the caps were gone and fixed with electrical tape. Shower needed fixing in mens changing room. Overall a nice room and the staff was very friendly! Would stay there again.
Facility
Price of can go a little cheaper will be more affordable
Heated pools
Far from downtown
I liked the outdoor pool and the hot tub. The facility is amazing. Clean and helpful employees
Unfortunately the EV charging in the parkade didn't work. Otherwise I'll give them 10/10 No fee breakfast for the residents
Location is great, parking as well. Lobby area is nice. Hot tub is good.
Very small and dark room, not very comfortable and not possible to work or have calls due to size.
Location, pool, restaurant and rooms were excellent.
Clean
One of dates of my stays, They did not have hot water at about 7 pm
Friendly staff nice facilities
Weekends very busy lots of children come for the hockey
Room 304A/B Decided to stay at this resort for roughly a week in Feb/2026 as we skied the area (Kicking Horse/Panorama/Kimberley). It was the right decision. Conveniently located and good proximity to the highway and Invermere itself. This was a well appointed two suite unit that could basically sleep 4-6 people comfortably. Modern and practical set up. Great kitchen set up. Comfortable living area. Nice outside deck with our suite having a nice view looking west towards the mountains. Unit was quiet and well built. I thought the price was fairly priced at roughly 250/night (considering what was included). Amenities like the restaurant, pool (outside and inside hot/reg pools), outside facilities all tied in nicely. Fitness room is modest but functional. Spa on site. Restaurant opens at 8am – so if you’re an early bird you may need to go somewhere else. Evening meals were well presented and delicious – which is important as a number of restaurants in town close Monday and Tuesday. Main and lower common areas are comfortable and spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we had to leave abruptly. Highly recommend as a jump point if you’re planning on skiing the area.
Beautiful location, outstanding suite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great experience once again.
Location of one of the hot tubs looks over the parking lot. But it didn't stop us or others from using it so not a deal breaker.
Good facilities, clean, good location. Restaurant on sight.
Restaurant was expensive. Not enough gluten and dairy free options. Heater in room didn’t work. Had to bring in a space heater.
I would agree with the other review that the pet rooms are stuck in the basement staff area ! Other hotels don’t make you take those rooms . I booked two weeks in advance and asked for a room where we could walk out to the grassy area by the campfire and ended up in a room where I had to pick my way across big stones and duck under pine trees to get to a grassy area for the dog. Also the whole place seems run down and needs a reno- but at the least needs a very deep cleaning of the halls and the rooms- the dust on the blinds and shelves and lamps and cubby shelves is unbelievable - hand prints all over the windows and the bathroom smelled of mould and mildew- they need a decent cleaning and to use bleach in the bathroom. The kitchen floor was dirty when I used a wet paper towel to wipe some water up- such a lovely property really going downhill- very sad - I did the review they sent out and not one person called to discuss or wrote back or offered us anything to make it better.
Everything was all good. Enjoying the hot and pool was so nice.
Southwest Airlines lost our luggage and we had to wait at the airport until it arrived and we missed one out of two nights at this hotel. We only stayed one night and paid booking.com for two nights. It would be incredibly helpful and would ensure we continue to use booking.com if they would credit us the one night we missed due to the lost luggage. Please advise.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Structure is modern and our bedroom was comfortable and clean.
Corridor to the room was quite dirty. Not very sound proofed.
My husband and I have stayed at the Copperpoint several times and are always very happy with our experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming, location is great as is the restaurant. Amazing indoor and outdoor pools! And a short drive to Radium Hotsprings. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with lots to do in the area.
Great price in winter, comfortable and dog friendly with door to outside from our room to make it easy to walk pet.
Isolated location
Outdoor pool. The size of the rooms and the price for what you get in the room is decent. Bed was comfortable.
SOOO dated. Broken blinds, worn out furniture. The pillows were an actual joke. Lumpy, small, very poor quality. The idea of a pool view seemed good at the time. Until we tried to go to sleep. Was jammed with teens and so loud. Stomping could be heard above us next door just a terrible amount of noise. One thin blanket provided for the pullout, which was less comfortable than expected for a pull out. This place could be great but it desperately needs some upgrading and TLC. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner they have a 2 in 1 and only give you two small travel size.
Great staff! Great pricing for last minute, loved the food at the Elements restaurant. 20 minute drive to Panorama. I loved the pool and hot tub! Staff were able to allow me to check in 2 hours early too! Will definately return here again for our next snowboard trip!!!
Loved the location and setting. Travelled with a pet and appreciated the accommodation. Dinner at restaurant was wonderful.
