Hotel Umbra

Lovely apartment Good breakfast Good recommendations

The hotel is close to the main piazza and has great views from some of the rooms and various terraces around the hotel. The staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and making it clear to us how to drive to the hotel to drop our bags off and then get back to the parking.

The walk to the car park.

Location is good but gps doesn t get you there and when you call them NO ONE speaks English

The hotel is very run down and it is NOTHING like the pictures online

Staff gentilissimo, ti senti davvero come a casa!

Excellent locatio

Breakfast very poor

In memorable

History

Such a nice people , and a great location.

Nothing really

Lovely historic Hotel, close to a main Piazza with bars & restaurants. Very helpful staff, who gave good local restaurant recommendations. Our room offered stunning views of the valley and was spacious. Really enjoyed breakfast that had a wide variety plus delicious cakes. Really enjoyed our stay in Assisi and would like to return.

Nothing

Lovely Hotel in the heart of Assisi

Nothing.

Location is right off of the piazza, so close to everything. Breakfast was sufficient and the person that greeted and cleaned was wonderful and sweet. The room was fairly spacious as was the bathroom, comfortable, and clean. Every font desk staff was wonderful, gracious, and helpful. We had a medical emergency and they acted quickly with concern and compassion and checked on us frequently for the remainder of the stay.

Everything was lovely.

Struttura ubicata al centro di Assisi. Ampia camera.

Ottima posiIzione e staff super gentile

We love everything about this hotel. This is our second time staying there, and I honestly can not say enough good things about it, especially the staff!! Torniamo senz'altro!

rien

Location was perfect. A stones thhrow from the central square. Restaurant recommendations were very good and we had a lovely evening meal. Room was spacious and bathroom was good. Only gripe was the wifi signal wasnt strong in our room, but that is understandable as it is a very old building and we were at the extremity. Breakfast was plain, but good. Ftaff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing really.

Colazione appena soddisfacente. Posizione eccellente, eravamo in pieno centro

Both secluded and central, lovely ambience, beautiful views, gracious staff. I’d be happy to return again and again.

Lage Top. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer sehr sauber.

Parkplatz ziemlich entfernt bzw. Zufahrt nicht möglich

Good location and value

Further from st Francis than I would like

The location was amazing and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The mattress wasn’t great, but it didn’t totally derail the experience.

Charming hotel, wonderful location, clean and the staff was very nice and helpful!

Everything was perfect. Would stay there again.

Posizione accezione e cortesia

Nulla

Sehr freundlicher und hilfdbereites Personal.

This property is absolutely breathtaking. It is comfort and beauty from beginning to end. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The views were beautiful and there were many balconies and windows. The property owners were accommodating and even provided a bag of ice when we requested it. I will always stay here when we return to beautiful Assisi.

We liked everything.

The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

The location was perfect right in the middle of the square, the staff were fantastic the room was very clean

The breakfast could be a bit better

Posizione, pulizia, colazione

Nulla

It’s a great location. The staff was kind and helpful!

The location The staff

Posizione centralissima, proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili.

OUTSTANDING WELCOME! OUTSTANDING STAFF! OUTSTANDING LOCATION! FABULOUS BREAKFAST! All good here and highly recommend in every way.

Location and room excellent. Breakfast was a bit of disapponited, especially that there was no toast machine and poor selection of bread , meat and cheeses.

Breakfast

Posizione centralissima e silenziosa

Nulla

Central location in Assisi. Helpfulness of staff. Interesting layout with several sitting/ lounge areas to use. Good continental breakfast.

Didn’t have any coffee/ tea/ hot water station or in room machine. Granted could be purchased at the Piazza just outside the door. Unless you arrived early for breakfast the eggs and warm wiener got cold as the metal shafting container was not heated.

bra frukost, trevlig personal

What a lovely gem of a hotel with kind, attentive staff and comfortable, traditional rooms. Delicious breakfast and lovely view of the valley below. Morning bird songs and church bells add to the charm!

Hard to find at first. Located thru a side archway next to a farmacia at the Piazza del Comune.

Great central location and helpful and friendly staff.

No coffee/tea in the room.

Camera singola troppo piccola

Posizione, cortesia

Personale gentile, camera accogliente, colazione buona e posizione albergo in centro. Perfetto

Tutto! E’ stato un soggiorno perfetto! 🤩

Tutto

It was very central, clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to my friends and if I return to Assisi I will stay there.👍

Meno dolci, meno grassi, aggiunta di frutta secca, uova, verdura

Absolutely great place!

This hotel is truly a secret gem in Assisi! The owner, Senora Leandra Laudenzi, is a most gracious and endearing hostess. She oversees the daily activities of the hotel and is exceptionally attentive to ensuring every guest feels at home throughout their stay. The Front Office staff of Paula and Marco were exceptionally helpful in advising and assisting with local tour arrangements. The Front Desk Manager, Carlo, is the very definition of "hospitality"! His advice on restaurants, including a brief guide on Italian cuisine, made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast service manager, Anna, was also exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ensuring you were completely satisfied with your meal. The croissants were incredible, and the ever-flowing chocolate Nutella was a very sweet touch to the breakfast smorgasbord. But it is the ambiance of the hotel that is most remarkable and unforgettable! The garden perugula offers a serene respite after a day of walking the town. And the upper terraces offer spectacular views across the entire Assisi valley, with vistas of 40 or more miles. The rooms are large, air-conditioned, and spotless! Overall, the hotel is so exceptionally comfortable that you will never want to leave - it's that cozy!!!! Located at the top of the town, right off the plaza of the MInerva temple - I found this hotel to be a very charming sanctuary in the blessed town of Assisi!

Nothing - the hotel has exceptional staff and service, and attends to your every need.

Comodo, accogliente e personale gentilissimo.

Excelente, buen almuerzo, excelente ubicacion y personal amable y servicial.
