Beautifully decorated and very spacious room - with views over the palmaraie. Very good location for exploring around Skoura, Ouarzazate and up to the Dades Gorge (easily reached as a day trip). And you can then come back for a refreshing dip in the pool.

Excellent Kasbah hotel. Highly recommended.

Great place, well located relatively to see what is around, in the region. Safe, quiet, great welcome, accepting Credit card (quite useful and not always possible during our trip in Morocco). Besides, room was big and well fit for the family, great breakfast and all facilities are present (pool, breakfast, dinner, inside parking places).

Family run establishment. Pool area was amazing. Rooms are unique and authentic. We enjoyed everything about our stay except for the food. We just felt the options were very basic and simple. Unfortunately there are not any nearby (walkable) options, but it was fine for one night.

The property was beautiful! A lovely Kasbah set right next to the oasis. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dinner was fantastic!!!! It was a perfect place to stay on our long drive to the desert.

Beautiful, CLEAN, kasbah with a friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool area with lounge chairs/umbrellas for sunning even in January. Dinner was delicious (aroma wafting up from the kitchen was irresistible!). You will love staying here. Perfect!!

This is a truly delightful and beautifully restored Kasbah. Its French owners have done a superb job in creating a wonderful place to escape - in the common areas as well as the truly stunning and very opulently appointed rooms. The food was delicious and the wine list was reasonably priced - including Moroccan as well as French and other wines. Service throughout our stay was faultless, and enjoyed by our group of Aussies. Thank you for creating this "oasis" for weary travellers to refresh!

We were here for 2 nights un October 2024. From the initial greeting, to a luxurious and thoughtfully appointed room this Kasbah was a delight! The hotel staff spoke multiple languages and were attentive and anticipated our needs and wants. The meals were delicious. We ate under cover by the pool..a beautiful scene. And the rooftop was the perfect stop to see the sunset or the sunrise! I highly recommend this Kasbah!

A lovely welcoming Kasbah with beautiful and character filled rooms. There is a stunning courtyard around a beautiful swimming pool and other courtyards with plants and water. The service was friendly and helpful with French sophistication. We had breakfast and dinner for a large group of friends and all enjoyed it. It was nice to have dinner brought to us sitting at a beautiful table . Lovely plants and pleasant bird song

This is a wonderful hotel run by a beautiful and very friendly French family. The staff could not have been more helpful. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed and would happily stay there again if in Skoura. I highly recommended this unique hotel.

This is a lovely family-run guesthouse based on an old Kasbah. We had an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast during a bus trip with friends. This was about half-way between Merzouga and Marrakesh. We were warmly welcomed and had an excellent home-cooked evening meal and breakfast (with choice of omelettes!). Our hosts gave very personal care. For example, they were able to accommodate the specific dietary needs of one of our group who had a food allergy. And they waved us goodbye as we left. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. This was an unexpectedly lovely accommodation option.

Incredible service!! It feels like the staff was trained at a French Michelin star restaurant. Not only the table setting, the service etiquette, and overall presentation was incredible but also their manners and wiliness to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend having dinner here as well since it was such a welcome surprise to have dinner ready after our long drive. The rooms were great, super clean and spacious, I wish we had more time to enjoy the pool. Overall, this place is incredible, comfortable, and clean, but was makes it special is the staff running it. Really looking forward to coming back in the near future.

An oasis in an out of the way town. Very comfortable stay in Skoura. Large comfortable rooms with a comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good food. The chef was from Brittany I France, so well trained. Lovely pool area. Could have easily spent more time here.

Charming French couple bent to please the guests, nice and helpful staff, room has good berber feel...

As everywhere in the region in the winter, to become warm, rooms need a lot of heat. Helpfully, we had 4 heating devices that made the charming room cosy.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated place! Service was exceptional. We arrived during a sandstorm, so weren’t able to take advantage of a number of fun things to do in Skoura, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating . It was a great place to take a break from a road trip.

Not really a dislike, but it is a little ways off the main road.

Beautiful property in the quiet town of Skoura. We had an upper level room with a terrace and incredible sunset views. Pool area was pleasant. Staff were all very sweet. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Nice place to breakup the long drive from the desert to Marrakech.

there is no elevator in the property. stairs are little bit too high. it’s hard for me to clime to 3rd floor.

Kasbah Ait ben Damiette is a hidden gem in Skoura. The property was lovely and the dinner was delicious!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially giving us a heater in a private room for dinner. They also helped us find an inexpensive guide for the palmerie.

The shower did not have adequate water pressure.

First room didn't have heat. Dinner and breakfast below quality we've had elsewhere in Morocco. Still okay but not great. Very weak water pressure. Maybe an issue everyplace in Skoura.

Beautiful property and riad. Wonderful pool. Lovely very friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived my husband was ill. The owners and staff of the riad were very kind and helpful to us.

Everything was perfect

We walked through the private garden picking and eating fresh dates, figs and grapes. Paradise! The 1st morning a lady came and baked bread in a wood-fired mud oven - the same way they have done it for centuries! It was a history lesson that became our breakfast. An amazing experience. Highly recommend a stay here.

Unable to think of how they could improve this place: staff, food, beverages all great. Our tour guide (Ayoub) took us through the date palm/olive orchards. Ask for him to guide you.

Loved the feel of a true oasis in the desert, with beautiful surroundings. Food was beyond amazing! The only thing that was not perfect was the WiFi. Sketchy while we were there but that may have been the telecom company’s fault.

This property exceeded all our expectations. Rooms were spacious, well decorated and super clean. The facility was excellent, including a beautiful pool area. Food was excellent. And best of all, the staff was supremely attentive. One of our travel companions wasn't feeling well and they brought a snack to his room- no extra charge. Just an example of the extra care provided. This is a peaceful and wonderful place to stay if you are in the Skoura/Ourazazete area.

Arnaque complète, nous nous sommes fait dépouiller par les propriétaires et sommes restés que 2 nuits au lieu de 3 nous avons payés plus de 200 euros au lieux de 123 euros pour 3 nuits. Ils ne prennent que les espèces et la patrone oblige à prendre les repas ( type cantine de self service de mauvaise qualité, ex: : poulet de baterie mal cuisiné à 16 euros un petit menu...) Ils se plaignent de "Hotel .com" comme quoi ils ne travail pas avec vous et que ce ne sont pas les bons prix du coût ils nous ont fait prendre des repas imprévus et dégueulas. tout pour partent en laissant les employés seuls, Le serveur et le jardinier sont gentils, mais la cuisinière totalement irresponsable et la plupart du temps absente, la femme de ménage antipathique et faignante qui replace les serviettes sale sur les propres et plus souvent avachie sur les sofas. Chambre très froide sans chauffage ni climatisation, 5 peignoirs pour enfants de 15 ans, tapis très glissants (nous sommes tombés plusieurs fois, pas de TV ... Salle d'eau très froide et peu pratique, un mini savon à moins 1 dirham pour 4 ! Piscine glaciale même avec une tenue sous marine spéciale hiver et très glissante aussi ! Et j'en passe ! En faite il ni a pas d'hôtes dans ce lieux qui n'est en fait qu'un musée très fermé et pour gogo ! C'est terrible de ce faire avoir par des français au Maroc ! Je n'ai jamais passée d'aussi mauvaise vacance, de plus de me retrouver sans argent puisse qu'ils m'ont pris toutes mes espèces l'angoisse.

My husband and I had a lovely time at Kasbah Ait Ben Damiette. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a dip in the pool. we visited at the end of the busy season so the hotel was very quiet, it is set outside of Skoura and is not walking distance from the main part of town. As we drove away in the morning the entire staff came out to wave goodbye, which was a very sweet gesture.

Colette und Yannik betreiben in Skoura ein wunderschönes Kashba Hotel. Die Aussicht auf das Atlasgebirge und die Wüste ist von der Dachterasse aus absolut spektakulär. Sehr leckeres Abendessen mit gegrilltem Fisch und verschiedenen Beilagen; Ziegenkäse zum Nachtisch; marokkanische und bretonische Küche. Das Frühstück wird im wunderschönen Palmengarten serviert. Die selbsgemachte Marmelade, die Omlettes und Crepes schmecken super lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen!

This is a beautiful French Owned place. Even though they dint speak much english, they were just amazing with communicating everything with us. The dinner, the little little things were all amazing. I will go back in to this place if I were in the area. The couple who own the place are also the people who run the place, they both were so sweet and make us feel so special. Worth every penny and more!

The hotel is run by a French couple, who are very nice and friendly. The kasbah itself is magnificent and impressive, but being run by foreigners it lacks Moroccan authenticity a bit, so it maybe more of a chateau than kasbah :)

We had a lovely time at the Kasbah. It's in a secluded area about 20 minutes from the closest city of Ouarzazate by the foot of the Atlas mountains. The Kasbah is delightful with a very unique architecture. What made our day extra special was the French couple, Yanic and Colette who made sure that my wife and I had a wonderful stay. The food, prepared with care by Colette, was delicious. This is a great place to go to just escape from the city and the tourists and just enjoy the vistas and the company of your spouse/partner, a good book and some warm tea. There isn't much to do in the area but the guided bike tour is recommended. I would stay a minimum of two nights to really appreciate this place. The pool is also nice but it was too cold for us to enjoy it. Nothing but positive things to say about this place.

A Kasbah style hotel on the edge of the fascinating and beautiful Skoura Oasis accessible on metalled road. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Outside there's a good size swimming pool with loungers for private relaxing in the sun or shade. Don't miss out on the excellent breakfasts and evening meals cooked by the French owners using local produce. The preserves are to die for! No hesitation about recommending Kasbah Ait Ben Damiette worth a detour!

Skoura is een prachige plek, een oase met de Atlas als achtergrond. Deze kasba is helemaal in stijl gebouwd, prachtige kamers, zwembad, veel oog voor de lokale economie en als top heerlijk Frans- Marokkaans eten, eindelijk wat anders dan kip!

Beautifully decorated rooms in a Kasbah built using traditional methods. In the Palmiera. Hosts could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as they could.
