The view on the lake
Good breakfast, friendly service, nice location on waterfront
Room had strong odor of residual smoke and general sense of uncleanliness or lingering odors/dirt from a long period of time
The lakefront property was excellent, and the majority of the staff provided outstanding service.!
Our family has been visiting this establishment for over 25 years. This is the first time we have encountered complaints regarding our noise level at 9 p.m. During a long weekend, we were informed that we could not gather outside past 10 p.m. due to alleged complaints from other guests. I found the manager's approach to be quite aggressive, as she chose not to speak with us in a professional and calm manner.
Loved the fresh look to the room and the view is fantastic!
Lack of shaded and seating areas, hotel should put up a few picnic tables and umbrellas or something around the grounds. They have a large covered patio but only 1 picnic table. There’s another picnic table by the lake but both were occupied our whole time there. All chairs were being used by these guests. There’s chairs outside the rooms but other guests felt free to take them for their visitors.
The breakfast was good.
The cleanliness of room wasn't satisfied.
Place pretty old , breakfast served with paper plates and low quality food. People not friendly as Canadians normally are. And the worse they haven't made the room and changed the sheets and towels during our 2 nights stay
The location is very ideal. Wonderful to be so close to the lake. The room itself worked and was functional. The shower had good pressure and it was pretty clean.
The room was esthetically disappointing. It was clean enough but it was like paying $300 to stay at a dingy motel. The outside of the building and the general upkeep of the rooms is not very good. They need a makeover.
Good.
The fridge was too noisy but I couldn't turn it off.
The staff were very accomodating. The room was clean.
The patio door and balcony were very dirty - you couldnt see out the windows on the door. Cobwebs everywhere on the balcony.
Quiet
Room was with no view. Pool wasn’t clean
Location
I flew in for a funeral and paid three hundred a night the ac wasn’t on in the hallway or room and luckily I found the lady in a different room that could help turn it on but @12 front desk called and asked me what time I was leaving at and I was waiting on my ride so maybe 12:30 and the guy was like we have a turnover for this room and it was a request and not one cleaning person on that floor but funny how he said to bring my belongs in the front desk area and some guy was laying on the couch and it’s so hot my daughter and I went outside looking like homeless so sad and embarrassing especially too during a heatwave.. never again will I ever recommend this to my family or friends idk what happened to customer service not even one person to help us with our bags or elevator
Unterbringung für 1 Nacht im 2. Geschoss.
Funny but the frame on the wall was upside down.
Beautiful location. Right on the water. Staff is fantastic. My room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. I had the best sleep. Dinner was great. Stayed 2 nights.
Everything was good just little expensive for the complete stay would have liked to pay somewhere in the range of 250
Just wish it was 100 less in price then I would come more often and the jacuzzi tub would have been nice
Terri at the front desk was amazing!!! Bed was comfortable, room was clean
Breakfast was not very good, externally the building needs some improvements but for a nights stay, it was fine.
Reasonably priced but you get what you pay for-rooms are older and could sure use some updating! Close to the lake and town and overall, not a bad place to stay.
Loved being right on the water . Beautiful setting and very relaxing. Super easy to get to the breakfast in the morning from outside and it was a nice spread of food. The sauna was a hit with our crew. The room itself was very big and clean.
We didn't like the temperature of the pool... It was on the chilly side.
Staff were very friendly, free breakfast was hot and fresh. The gentleman in the kitchen was very attentive. Room was spacious.
Grounds are very run down and could use some upkeep. Although I love a firm mattress the mattresses, even in the king suites, are as hard as concrete. Staff seemed accommodating when I was given the wrong room however they have not sent the refund I was told I’d receive.
Loved the beautiful location and surroundings. Staff went above and beyond when they extended the pool hours for us during our stay. Loved the Sauna.
Some of the continental breakfast items weren't warm and the coffee could be better.
Breakfast & location
Pool was closed before 9 pm even though the pool timings are till 10 pm. Dinner closes by 7.30 pm on Sundays which is a bit early for weekends.
It’s by the lake.
The lack of a walkway to breakfast area from the rooms.
Manager was super efficient.
Nothing everything as expected
I booked it for one of my clients we had to come in kind of late I think the manager personally called me and made sure it was really easy for us to do that. That was very much appreciated
There's not much we didn't like the client met back up with something in the morning they had a complimentary breakfast provided by a hotel said it was clean and then when they woke up there was a beautiful view of the lake.
We love the layout of the rooms. We loved the closeness of the water. We loved the sauna in the room. I would definitely rebook hereagain and would refer my friends to stay here.
I appreciated that breakfast was included in the price. It was very good and served until 10:30 a.m. I also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and the staff was extremely friendly.
The room should include complimentary water and other basic beverages. It would improve the overall guest experience and make the stay more comfortable.
Our bathroom door didnt close, our main door was difficult to close and latch we would close it behind us thinking it was latched and it wasnt We didnt enjoy the hockey teams running through the halls playing in the halls and being just loud
was okay
breakfast
Breakfast was decent. Although you had to ask for juice. Location by the water was good. Boat rental good.
Wi fi slow, very slow. Almost useless. Dated room. Needs upgrade. Mosquito invasion in front of door, then room full of mosquitoes. Could of had a bug rapper to help against. Paid late check out is lame. Especially if the hotel was not anywhere near full.
Liked the restaurant food room and pund
Found an old chips beside the night table. The amount of emails sent out that I'm still receiving.
Clean, right on the water and lovely staff.
Loud person beside me, not staff’s fault
everything was very good
there were no face cloths in our room
Front desk agent
Food and beverage and the noise level from guest next door talking until 6am walls are too thin
Location
Noisy neighbours outside on balcony beside my room at night
Close to water
We got charged extra for having boat that was never stated anywhere on there site or this site but only at lobby
Absolutely horrible what kind of hotel is this … Ice fishing season is here .. drove close to 4 hours didn’t think I have to call ahead to secure a room .. arrive January 2 2026 around 3 am looking to catch some sleep doors locked .. call the number on the door.. sounded like I woke up the employee just to tell him he can’t get me a room .. the place was empty… pretty hard to pay the bills when your doors are closed 👎👎👎
Friendly staff, pool

Excellent breakfast included. Very good coffee. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and adequate.
Facilities could be spruced up a bit and maybe a new paint job and new carpeting. Starting to look a little run down.
This hotel is waterfront and the view is beautiful, I can only imagine it in the summer. The room was large, comfortable and the bedding was heavenly. A spectacular huge walk-in shower was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were friendly and personable. I didn't attend the Spa but the area looked classy and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, although very basic. I would stay here again if in the area again.
Clean comfy staff very helpful and nice food was amazing
Not a smart tv
Room was big
Breakfast could have been more plentiful
The location is serene but the staff could be friendlier in my opinion. The breakfast is good but no protein substitute exists for those who do not eat pig meat, they should offer dietary inclusion. The restaurant is always closed as well just breakfast it’s open.
The location is great, staff are nice and friendly. The room was a good size, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet style breakfast.
De ligging is mooi aan het meer.
Het is hotel wat verouderd. In het dorp is niet veel te beleven. Weinig horeca en geen leuk centrum.
The location was good
The windows were filthy. Phone did not work and was not fixed as promised. The outside stairs were unsafe.
Location was good. Breakfast was good.
Floor in room was so dirty my feet turned black when I walked across the room. Hotel charged me 35 dollars to park my boat trailer even though there was plenty of room to park. No washcloths provided even after I asked. Place was rundown and dirty.
Room smelled really bad like cigarettes and we have change room twice and we won’t ever book at this hotel for life.
Close to lake.
$35 charge for boat trailer. I was also told you had a boat launch and fish cleaning station when I booked. Didn’t have either.
Great place for a wedding!
We did not use the spa! It was closed and had to make an appointment. The dining room menu was not much choice. The breakfast was good eggs could have been could a little more but the whole setup was great. We booked because of the pool and hot tub but did not use it felt really cold. The hot tub was closed so that part was disappointing other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Water front is beautiful.
Staff very nice for check in
Breakfast should have bacon and a few more options.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you were requesting something, they would try their best to help out. The location is beautiful right on Lake Simcoe and it has an amazing view of a light house and the lake.
It's very run down, dirty, grimy and the breakfast was very unappealing with minimal items. We stayed in a room not attached to the main building. In the mornings there were issues with flushing the toilet as there were other people in this block of rooms using the toilet or showering and it effected the ability to flush the toilet in our room. You could hear gurgling and air pockets coming out of the toilet when someone else flushed in another room. The paint in the bathroom was just a base coat. It was all blotchy and didn't cover the walls. It was a very rushed job that was incomplete. Regarding towels, the hotel does not provide washcloths. We also had to call the front desk to see if we could get some more towels for our second night stay. They said that they didn't have any available, but when they did have some, they would send them to our room. When we returned to our room later on, the towels were in a plastic bag on the door handle outside the room. The doors were very dirty and grimy and could really use a good wipe down/sanitizing. You could clearly see other peoples hand and finger prints all over the doors. The light switch for the bathroom was on the outside of the bathroom. If you did turn the bathroom light on, it would also turn the hall light on outside of the bathroom. If you had to use the washroom in the night, you'd wake everyone else up in the room by turning on the light. We didn't attempt the pool! For the breakfast they had minimal items available and a lot had run out. This hotel had cute little paddle boats that maybe were rented out at one point in time, but the paddle boats were not kept properly and are all becoming run down and are randomly placed around the property which is an eye sore. Also some of the other guests were unruly or sitting outside of their rooms drinking and carrying on. There was one man in particular that sat outside of his room for hours crying on the balcony.
We were really disappointed in our stay. I was hoping for a cheerful weekend for a dad and two kids to get out of the city. I was excited for a pool, hot tub and sauna, for some lazy breakfasts with board games, and then we had planned to be out exploring the Georgina area the rest of the time. The pool was locked up and you to ask permission each time you wanted to use it. The staff seemed reluctant. It was unheated and dirty feeling. The hot tub next to it had been shut down "by order of the health inspector" with a big warning sign. None of us finished our first day breakfast - the food had an off taste. We asked to use the pool and were told it was closed until 9am. We asked to rent a pedal boat and were told they weren't available until noon. With nothing to do on site, we gave up and left the hotel for the day. That was the last time we used the facilities. The next day we had learned to stick with pre-packaged foods for breakfast, so we had the individual yogurt servings. We quickly packed and got out of there, and had a great morning at Willow Greens golf range and mini put, and at Sibbald Point swimming and hiking. We loved the area and the hotel offered us a place to crash at night, but the amenities and food were really disappointing for us. We don't get out of the city often - we would not go back to this hotel.
Cute and Convenient!
Free breakfast was awesome! Always a plus when you book a hotel. I enjoyed the Christian music that was playing during breakfast. Very inspiring to start my day. Rooms were very clean.
The view of the lake is lovely and peaceful. Such a nice feeling.
The location on the lake was great but the cleanliness and quality of the rooms was appalling. There are no elevators to the second floor so it was terrifying to go up the old wooden stairs with our suitcases. The carpet and soft good in the room all smelled and were stained. It was a true stereotypical "motel" experience. I would not recommend.
Attended a training conference. Staff were nice and helpful. The premises are a little outdated. The view of the water is Tranquil.
Need to focus on the waterfront, because its a waterfront. Not just to look at, but reasons to be there. Maybe make your own beach.
Staff were great and hotel sits in a beautiful area. Beds are very hard. Room was clean and spacious. I question the safety of the stairs going up to the top floor rooms.
The lake
Nice clean room. Beautiful view on the lake and great breakfast!
Nothing! Should have spent more than 1 night.
L emplacement à côté du Lac. Le petit déjeuner correct.
L aspect de l'établissement quand on arrive manque d entretien, on dirait qu il est abandonné.
The breakfast menu is always the same every single day, with no variety at all. On top of that, they don’t even allow guests to take something as simple as a banana out of the dining area, which feels unnecessary and inconvenient. The rooms were another disappointment, they had a constant unpleasant smell that made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
*I like that the hotel had a vintage kinda feel *The pool and gym were ok, never crowded. *The paddle boats, which was fun, and the guy running it was very nice and always with a smile. *The breakfast was nice with variety, and the restaurant was very nice with some nice selections. *The little beach next door was nice. And beach at resort refreshing. *The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. *The staff was nice and helpful. *There was a nice patio to sit and relax, eat, read, or have nice conversations. *Nice dock to sit out and enjoy the view. *food at the restaurant was good and 3 vending machines.
Nothing that I didnt like. Just a suggestion to maybe fix the ladder at the pool. Some updates could be done. But still fine how it is.
The room was with smell of grass and and a.c noisy.... We ask to change the room. The rooms are old breakfast was o.k.
Emplacement
Rustique Personnel pas tellement accueillant
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada in Jackson's Point. The room was clean, the view was spectacular overlooking Lake Simcoe and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Buffet breakfast was also included for both days and it was very good (the eggs actually tasted like eggs!). So all in all, good job and we will return to this property on our next visit.
.
Did not appreciate the man who changed tv at breakfast from Canadian news to China's army channel.
Great location on the lake, comfortable room, and good buffet breakfast
Second time staying here the room was clean and I like the relaxed vibe. And it is on the water front which I love.
One staff member, Lisa, was very pleasant. Cindy, the manager, was horrible to deal with.
