Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Location is amazing, on a walking distance from the center of the town and room has a beautiful 180 view overlooking the town as it is up to the hill and right at the bottom of dramatic Metheora's rocks. Our room had a small balcony so we could enjoy early morning coffee with the view and nice fresh September air. Beautiful big tree in in front was something that I always appreciate. Spacious asphalt area is right in front of the House where you can conveniently park your car. The most visited monasteries are only 15 minutes drive from the House and it is accessible by road from both side of the town. Interior is vintage but spotlessly. Bathroom was small but functional and also very clean with the most charming ceramic details. Our room was on the second floor, so caring big suitcases is not recommended over the narrow stairs. The owner, Tania, is very approachable and helpful and you can contact her anytime. We just needed a password for wi-fi as we couldn't find it printed anywhere in the room. We were late in the evening, and early in the morning and we were eating in the town (food in local restaurants is absolutely delicious), so I am not sure about the service at the ground-floor caffe/taverna.
Place has it own charm despite it is all in vintage style. Not for those ones who prefer modern comfort.

Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über Klimaanlage (die ich wegen der beiden Balkontüren, die für viel Frischluft sorgen nicht benötigte), Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, TV. Steckdosen sind gut vorhanden. Das Bad ist seh schön. Alles ist sehr sauber! Die Gastgeber, die auch die sehr schöne Taverne Platanos betreiben sprechen beide sehr gutes Englisch und sind liebenswert freundlich. Sie sind hilfsbereit und gehen gut auf Wünsche ein. Besser geht es nicht.
Es gibt keine Kritik.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Adorable, authentic, beautifully restored, quaint little hotel. The check in was a quick what's app phone call, the number to call posted right inside the door. The keys are already in the door, you only need to know the room number she gives you. The place was immaculately clean and the shower was every Americans' dream. I just loved the place.
That I left my hair spray there. We did have a car which made the stay seamless.

Albergo invece molto bello, il personale ci ha supportato subito sia per parcheggiare che per portare le valigie in camera. Ci hanno fornito tutte le info che richiedevamo. Piacevole sorpresa l'adiacenza della struttura al mercato settimanale ricco di prodotti interessanti. Tania veramente graziosa, molto gentile. Consiglio vivamente di provare l'ottima cucina sottostante la struttura: Platanos.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Die Herzlichkeit , das alte Haus wo die Treppenstufen knartzen, der Schlüssel mit dem man die Zimmertür aufschliesst. Der Parkplatz vor der Tür, die Einfachkeit noch einen Tag länger zu bleiben.Die Lage vor den riesigen Felsen, die Nähe zu den Meteoraklöstern, der Handgemalte Plan für Besuche der Sehenswürdigkeiten welchen man beim einchecken bekommt, die Taverne wo das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis und der Geschmack der Speisen erste Klasse sind. Man sollte sich etwas Zeit für die Klöster und die Nationalparks in der Umgebung nehmen - Für mich als Motorradfahrer waren die drei Tage vor Ort ein Höhepunkt meiner Griechenlandreise. Mit Gruß....Andreas.

Il letto aveva un topper più piccolo sul materasso. Il lavandino è veramente troppo piccolo e un cuscino purtroppo puzzava. A noi non serviva però avvisiamo che la TV è molto piccola.

Mâncare delicioasă, cu porții mari și preturi decente. Recomand Lamb Chops, cele mai bune, Chicken Fillet, cârnații tradiționali. Iar Dimitri, un om deosebit. S-a ocupat de cazarea noastră și apoi de servirea de la restaurant cu sfaturi foarte bune și servire ca la carte. O vacanță minunată la Meteora.
Nu e cazul.

Auf den Bilder sah es alles viel schöner aus, das Haus ist schon in der Jahre gekommen, die Treppe ist eine Katastroffe, durch sehr ungleiche Stuffen ist man jedes mal gestolpert.

Die Zimmer sind recht klein, aber komfortabel ausgestattet.

Reviewed May 9, 2026This is a hidden gem in Kalambaka. The interior is wonderful. It's irresistible for those who love old architecture. It's so beautiful it will leave you mesmerized. Contact with the staff is minimal, but check-in and check-out were very easy and pleasant. The cleaning staff were also very nice. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning was very thorough. The location is in the town center with everything you need nearby, and the view is fantastic.

Reviewed May 7, 2026Die Lage. Der spektakuläre Ausblick. Die Taverne unter unserem Appartement. Es war ruhig. Personal sehr freundlich.
Das Bett war ein bisschen durchgelegen in der Mitte. Und das Zimmer war ein bißchen dunkel trotz Sonnenschein. Für empfindliche Menschen könnte es störend sein das es durch die Abluft von der Taverne Geräusche gibt. Uns hat es nicht gestört

Reviewed May 6, 2026Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ τίμιο για τα χρήματα που δώσαμε, ο οικοδεσπότης, ο Σωτήρης, μας έδωσε πολύ χρήσιμες πληροφορίες για τα αξιοθέατα της περιοχής και τις ώρες που μπορούσαμε να τα επισκεφτούμε, η Τάνια που καθάριζε τα δωμάτια ήταν εξαιρετικά πρόθυμη να εξυπηρετήσει ό,τι της ζητήσαμε, το μέρος ήσυχο (γενικά η Καλαμπάκα έχει μια μοναδική γαλήνη και ηρεμία), με άνετο πάρκινγκ, πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο και όλα τα καταστήματα με το φαγητό, τα καφέ, τις τράπεζες, και το λουκάνικο του Θύμιου (Γιάννη) που μας σύστησε ο Σωτήρης, απλά τέλειο! Ευχαριστούμε για όλα! Επίσης, να μην ξεχάσω, πολύ αξιόλογο και το εστιατόριο (Πλάτανος) που λειτουργεί κάτω από το ξενοδοχείο, μιά πρώτης τάξεως λύση αν βαριέσαι να περπατήσεις μετά τις "αναβάσεις" με τα εκατοντάδες σκαλοπάτια στα μοναστήρια!
Πολύ μικρή η τηλεόραση στο δωμάτιο, αλλά δεν μας στενοχώρησε, γιατί είχαμε αρκετά πράγματα να κάνουμε για να γεμίσουμε το διήμερό μας στην Καλαμπάκα.

Домакините са любезни, отзивчиви и винаги готови да помогнат. Ресторанта предлага много вкусна храна с много комплекти от домакините . Със сигурност бихме отседнали отново и го препоръчвам без колебание!

Ho notato con piacere anche i particolari delle ciabatte da camera e la scelta dei prodotti da bagno con profumazioni non banali. Se si desidera, si può mangiare al ristorante di sotto. M mangiato bene, con un buon servizio, simpatia e con lo sconto del 10 per cento per gli ospiti della guest house.Rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente buono.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πολύ κοντά σε όλα! Με τέλεια θέα από τα βράχια! Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και είχε καλοριφέρ, οπότε ήταν φουλ ζεστό. Η ταβέρνα από κάτω έχει πολύ ωραίο φαγητό, τέλειο και πεντανόστιμο κρέας. Είμαστε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι με τη διαμονή μας!

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Personnel au petit soin qui est ravi de vous aider au besoin ! L’emplacement en plein cœur de Kalambaka et le restaurant au pied de la chambre sont de réels atouts ! La chambre a tout se dont on a besoin pour quelques nuits et elle donne même envie de rester plus longtemps

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Ήταν ευρύχωρο,πολύ ζεστό και θέα το Μετέωρο. Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία: δύο λεπτά από την κεντρική πλατεία όπου βρίσκονται όλα τα μαγαζιά Τέλος, η ταβέρνα ακριβώς κάτω είχε καλό φαγητό με λογικές τιμές και πολύ εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό
