Good location. Nice breakfast. Car parking. Suited our family of 4 ok.

Sofa bed wasn’t comfy and room was very hot.

It took a bit of getting used to - it’s right by the university and I suspect former halls of residence. In fairness, they were very good compared to my days as a student. You have your own toilet and shower facilities, plus a fridge and more so very good in comparison with my student days.

I had a single bed in my apartment and there was barely room to move in it. It was also very hot so had to open the windows and mosquitoes came in. The last guest had left a “lone pebble” in the khazi which greeted me when I lifted the toilet lid. More attention to detail required!

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. W okolicy kilka interesujących punktów do zwiedzania jak i spędzenia miłego wieczoru. Niedaleko przystanek komunikacji miejskiej. W Dunkierce komunikacja miejska (autobusy) są za darmo :) Pokój czysty, aneks kuchenny w pełni wystarczający. Bezpłatne miejsca parkingowe przy ulicy.

Przy zmieniającym się klimacie można ewentualnie pomyśleć o klimatyzacji. W łazience był uszkodzony na baterii włącznik prysznica i można było tylko korzystać z kranu i tym samym wanny.

We had an upgrade but to a double room! Not ideal for myself and son so we ended up with different rooms in different parts of the building complex.

It was clean and the breakfast excellent with lots of choices

Chambre avec mini pour une nuit mais un peu défraichie ne correspond aucunement aux photos affichées ! De plus douche non fonctionnelle !! Ne correspond surement pas à une réservation à un peu plus de 100€ la nuit ! On n'y retournera plus !

Location of the apartment block was just on the outskirts of Dunkirk. Short walk about 10 mins to nearby restaurants, which we looked up on google maps. Room was adequate, bed was a bit uncomfortable for us. High step into the bath for a shower. Breakfast was continental, and was nice.

If we had done more research on where to stay in Dunkirk, we would have probably chosen somewhere else that suited our preferences with regards to accommodation.

Poyr notre deuxième séjour nous aimons tjs l emplacement et la gentillesse du personnel Ainsi que le prix qui est raisonnable.

Nous avions pris la chambre pour trois en signalant que nous étions 3 adultes... Le canapé lit n était pas préparé et la qualité du canapé lit médiocre clairement pas pour un adulte. Je tiens à préciser que les lits sont de haute qualité pour les lits fixes mais là , le canapé lit, pas top ,pas à la hauteur du reste Nous avons du prendre une chambre supplémentaire et cela nous a coûter 190€ de plus....

Super emplacement à côté de la gare, du centre ville et belle promenade pour aller vers la plage. Bus gratuit si besoin. Bon accueil, appartement propre. Dunkerque est une ville très agréable

Le petit déjeuner est bien pour 14 € la laverie à disposition est un gros plus

il faisait 29 degrés dans la chambre, (alors que 19 dehors ! ) pas de circulation d'air possible, propreté fort discutable, on ne voyait pas à travers les vitres tant elle étaient sales, équipements vétustes, nous avons dû dormir la fenêtre ouverte avec un ventilateur bruyant sur le rebord de fenêtre toute la nuit afin d'avoir un peu l'impression de faire baisser le niveau de la température.

Nous avons aimé, la terrasse commune, le baby foot, les parties communes sont très sympa, le personnel tres polis, et avenant !

La literie pour le prix : on s'attend à dormir sur un matelas confortable et non une planche. Nous avons séjourné dans des hôtels moins chers et, franchement, c'était au-dessus de nos attentes, mais là, non ! Ensuite, pas de clim donc très chaud dans la chambre. Puis, le frigo est très proche du lit, donc il est dur de dormir avec le bruit de celui-ci. Et sympa la Nespresso, mais dommage, des capsules low cost... Rue très bruyante, ainsi que le port vers 3h30-4h du matin...

Das Bett war nicht so bequem.

Het hotel lag op loopafstand van het winkelgebied van Duinkerke. Onze kamer was klein, maar had een kitchenette. We waren blij met de gratis upgrade naar een kamer met uitzicht op het water. Rondom het hotel zijn er genoeg gratis parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar (wij waren er eind augustus).

De badkamer zag er verouderd uit.

The location is excellent, the water is only a few metres away and you can hear the waves and seagulls while you sleep. The shower was large and comfortable and with good water pressure. The kitchenette was very well stocked, thank you! The laundry room was also an unexpected bonus, you can wash clothes without leaving the building. Street parking near the hotel is free of charge.

The door to our room often did not open on first try, you needed to swipe the card 3/4 times and open the handle firmly. The bed was a bit small for us, and the room did not have any fan so we slept with the window open and the rolladen partly rolled up, for some air. However due to bad weather during our stay it was a bit complicated to sleep. The walls are also quite thin, you can hear people in neighbouring rooms walking or using the bathroom. We also booked this specific accomodation as we were travelling by car, however when we arrived and were given the key to our room, the person sitting behind the desk informed us that it would not be possible to have us park indoors as the "parking was not connected to our building", but during our stay we could see cars going up and down the ramps to the underground car park underneath our building quite often... Having the car parked indoors would have been very helpful as we had to check out during heavy rain and carry all our bags to the car park (which is only 2 minutes away, and free of charge).

Sehr schlichte Ausstattung, Doppelbett klein für große Menschen ab 1,70m, Blick auf den Hafen aber traumhaft, Frühstück mit selbst gemachtem ausgepressten O-Saft okay, Aufschnitt auch dürftig, aber leckere Waffeln und kleine Croissants

.... leider hatten wir nur kleine Handtücher, war bestimmt ein Versehen, aber für eine Nacht haben wir nicht nach Duschtüchern gefragt

Breakfast was comprehensive. I just don't think it's great value for the price.

This is a budget hotel and for the price, It was just fine. The bed and pillows were comfy and room clean. You will need ear-plugs as the fridge in the rooms constantly hum. I'm unsure why, but local policy fill the breakfast room and part of the carpark. I was happy with this as I used the carpark to secure my motorcycle.

Excellent location, exactly what we wanted. Quiet waterside though easy walk to town centre.

J'ai réservé pour 6 nuits au but de 5 nuits je suis parti la réceptionniste n'a pas voulu me rembourser! Chambre sans climatisation! Oublige de dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte beaucoup de bruit, la chambre était pas propre! Bref pas bien de tout! Comment Booking propose cela?

L'emplacement, près du centre de Dunkerque et à 25 min à pied de la plage de Malo les bains. Le petit déjeuner est correct. La chambre est très correct aussi, le lit est un peu bas pour des personnes âgées.

Nous étions au 5ème étage. Un bruit de fond (moteur, air conditionné,... ???) est gênant la nuit sans être exagérément bruyant. Sinon rien.

L'accueil, la gentillesse, les très bons conseils du personnel. Petit déjeuner, emplacement prêt du port de Dunkerque.

Logement très fonctionnel et très bien situé. Nous avons apprécié la proximité immédiate d' un parking. Quatre nuits reposantes. Merci

Easy to reach, good parking, friendly staff. We stayed so we could take the ferry to UK in the morning.

Very hot inside the hotel and room. No airco or ventilation. Windows could be opened but on the street side that is too noisy.

Bonne situation, à quelques minutes à pied du centre et du réseau de bus (gratuit) qui permet de se déplacer partout à Dunkerque. Très calme.

Coin cuisine très petit pour un séjour de plusieurs jours. Dommage que le rideau en tissu ne s'ouvre pas.

The apartments are perfectly suited with accessibility to Dunkerque city centre, but also in convenient walking distance of the gorgeous beach at Malo-les-Bains. The staff are great and very helpful, and the breakfast has a wide range and is very fulfilling. The unique selling point is that you can chill in your room, work with the sharp Wi-Fi, and even cook yourself something using the kitchenette if you don't fancy going out for supper. I return here year after year, and I'm never disappointed.

I've wrecked my brain, and I really can't think of anything that I'd want improved at the price that is offered. They do a great job!

C'est pas trop loin du centre ville.

Le personnel passe son temps sur leur portable pas très professionnel. C'est pas calme ,les fenêtres sont mal isolées, pas de climatisation, peu de matériel pour cuisiner. Les joints font sales au niveau de la salle de bain. La literie est fatigué. Il a besoin d'être rénové le sol adhésive entre le parquet de la chambre et de la partie cuisine dangereux on peut se blesser.

The room was completely dirty. There were lots of hairs (!) everywhere in the bathroom. Also in the shower, there were hair and hairs everywhere.

Pour le petit déjeuner c'était très bon Un très bon choix pour satisfaire tout le monde Les planches apéro et les cocktails

La literie était pas très confortable pour nous le matelas pas assez épais ont sentait les lattes du sommier peut être il était un peu usée ce matelas

Good access to A16 autoroute & a short drive to/from ferry ports & Eurotunnel. Plenty of free parking nearby & also a secure car park underneath(€10/night). Small comfortable room suitable for short stay. Kitchen equipped with kettle, microwave & hob unit so good for quick easy meals. Short walk into Dunkerque centre where there are plenty of shops, eateries & bars.

Rooms spread across 3 buildings so can be a bit of a walk to reception but not a real problem.

Zentrale Lage zum Bahnhof. Die Küchenzeile ist sehr praktisch, falls man etwas Kleines kochen möchte. Frühstück gibt es im Birgit, dieses ist ausgezeichnet, vielfältig und reichlich - der Weg zum Birgit ist ungewöhnlich. Fahrräder können kostenfrei in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden.

Sehr laut. Fenster konnte man zwar öffnen, aber aufgrund des extremen Zuglärms ab dem frühen Morgen und der LKW, die die Straße als Zugang zur Hauptstraße verwenden, war es sehr laut. Da die Zimmer mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet sind, kann man auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen. Ungewöhnlich ist die Verbindung der zwei Hotels/Hostels Birgit und The People über diverse Treppenhäuser, Verbindungsgänge etc.

The location was good as the hotel was close to the city centre. There was also a small kitchen area with a kettle, hob and fridge.

There is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms so we were given a small air conditioning unit and we opened our window but the room was above the reception and both nights people sat on the benches outside chatting, on the 2nd night there were about 6 police officers that sat there all night. The bathroom shower would not stay upright and there was black mould around the bath. The bed was also very firm we were in room 102.

Les places de parking est un réel problème, arrivés un vendredi après midi et toutes les places de parking en sous sol étaient occupées pas moyen d'avoir une place a côté de l'hôtel, car avec nos bagages compliqué dommage

Buena localización. Cerca del museo y de la.playa principal donde ocurrió la.Operación Dynamo. Buenas vistas al mar en su terraza. Desayuno muy muy completo. El mejor desayuno y nos hemos quedado en 3 hoteles en tres zonas diferentes (Normandía, Dunquerque y París). Aquí el desasyuno fue TOP.

Tuvimos mala suerte y por la noche la.nevera empezó a meter mucho ruido. Así que dormir seguido fue... complicado.
