Great Hotel in a nice quiet area away from all the tourists. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance of ten minutes or so. Lovely long beach promenade for strolling, cycling and skating without all the hustle and bustle of the nearby tourist areas. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the maids visited daily, I stayed on the 4th floor where the room was spacious, clean and tidy. I didn't use the hotel pool but saw it being cleaned each morning. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of hot and cold selection and never really got too busy. Receptionists were prompt and helpful, they also had great knowledge of the local area. I would stay here again if i was visiting the area.

Decepcionada por razones de fuerza mayor y con toda la documentación tuve que dejar dos días antes la habitación. Por parte de la dirección del hotel no han sido nada empáticos y no he podido recuperar las dos noches no disfrutadas teniendo todos los justificantes que podían demostrar mi situación.

- hotel bien situé, face à la mer et au port, à quelques minutes à pied de la plage, et à une dizaine de minutes du centre de l'hospitalet de l'infant (qui n'est pas une ville très vivante) - il y a un parking, et des places de stationnement gratuites alentour - chambre confortable, propre, bien équipée, avec balcon vue mer - la piscine est un peu petite, mais en septembre il n'y a pas trop de monde - le petit déjeuner buffet est très bon et très varié

La amabilidad del personal y la limpieza sobretodo en los lugares públicos. También la cercanía a la playa. La comida deliciosa. Es la quinta vez que nos alojamos en el mismo hotel, sin duda para repetir.

La gestión del número de huéspedes en la habitación. Solicité la posibilidad de 3 huéspedes en la habitación y al no obtener respuesta me vi en la obligación de reservar otra habitación extra. Mi sorpresa fue que habían leido mi petición y la habían gestionado correctamente, pero al no recibir el feedback tuve que pagar otra habitación ppr precaución cuando se podía haber evitado simplemente enviandome un mensaje.

All meals were great. Buffet was varied and very well cooked and presented. The room was comfortable and bright with a good view over the pool and marina.

The swimming pool was very very cold and no-one was using it at all. It was kept clean though.

La atención del servicio de recepción, fuimos el último día que ya cerraban por temporada no habían agua en las máquinas, y la salida a las 10:00 me parece súper pronto.

La relación calidad-precio. Me ha parecido caro.

Difficult place to find: either SATNAV was wrong or directions! Convenient place to stay and the area is quiet, although there are enough food outlets to satisfy.

Petit déjeuner.Beaucoup de choix, salé, sucré et bon. Café très bon.. Repas varié, beaucoup de choix et bon, bien préparé. Le personnel très attentionné, toujours disponible et agréable.

La literie, le matelas n'est pas trop confortable, correct tout de même.

Una invasión de mosquitos enorme que nos tenía a todo el hotel abrasados a picotazos y que apagarán el aire acondicionado por la noche no pudimos dormir ninguno por el calor

Where do I start?? Oh dear from the get go on arrival at 4R Meridia Mar L'Hospitalet de L'Infant it was very bad. We arrived in a very remote area of the town to the hotel which looked quite nice to be honest. The receptionist spoke very little English which was ok but we were surprised this was the case as you are billed as English speaking in your resume. We were then told that we had missed dinner we arrived after a late transfer (late due to the transfer company taking another fare to Tarragona from another flight and not turning up for us until well after 10pm) and that if we wanted to eat then to go over to the Marina where there are restaurants. We did go over there as we were hungry but these restaurants too were closing as it was late and no food was being served. So we went back to the hotel. We had to pay for a bottle of water! they didn't even provide us with that little a gesture, no food, nothing. THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE NOT FRIENDLY on the whole. We were given a card with the hotel restaurant food times on it We were HALF BOARD so 8-10 Breakfast and 8pm-10pm dinner (1.30-3.30 lunch slot but we weren't booked for this) So next morning we went down to breakfast ravenous for something to eat. To be fair meals were good and there was always something we could eat but the fact that dinner was SO LATE in the evening meant that we were eating very late and this is not good for digestion before bed (dinner should be 6pm-8pm surely????) So everyday we had to get in the restaurant as early as we could to 8pm so that we weren't eating too late before bed. The restaurant staff on the door signing us in were NOT FRIENDLY. Room was on 2nd Floor down the side of the hotel and were ok, beds VERY COMFORTABLE and the maid seems to come everyday to clean the room (not nescessary but ok if that's how they do it then so be it). Shower caps, handwash and shower gel provided. Lots of loo rolls provided too and lovely clean towels. WE DID NOT USE THE POOL AREA. Pools, especially the children's pool looked MURKY AND UNCLEAN and we never saw anyone cleaning these in the evening or any other time. The pool area is VERY SHADY too so I don't think if you were hoping to lounge in the sun all day here you'd have much luck. The hotel's pictures suggest full sunlight on this area but that is NOT THE CASE. Very few sunbeds for the amount of guests too I would think but we never used them so not sure. The hotel reception area and restaurant were Air conditioned and well kept. Because we missed dinner on the first night, through no fault of our own, we asked if we could have lunch on the day of our check out and we were told NO by one of the UNFIRENDLY receptionists who abruprtly said when we asked for this because we missed dinner ont he first night, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM! - this receptionist was very UNFIENDLY and we noticed she kept going outside to SMOKE on the street outside the hotel and smelled badly of cigarettes too. She was unpleasant, had brown hair and glasses and just wasn't nice at all :-( The problems are, *the staff do not speak the international language of English or at least only a little bit of English and they are on the whole, UNFIRENDLY. *The mealtimes are inconvenient Breakfast should be 7-10am, lunch 12-2pm, dinner 6-8pm (although that wouldn't have helped us on our arrival as no dinner then either) * the hotel is remote. It says 'the hotel enjoys an excellent location surrounded by numerous shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The town centre is just a 10-minute stroll away, offering even more dining and shopping opportunities.' BUT THIS ISN'T TRUE. THERE ARE NO SHOPS AROUND THE HOTEL. There ARE restaurants in the marina area but NO SHOPS. The town has VERY FEW SHOPS THAT ARE ACTUALLY OPEN! No souvenir shops, no beach shops, nothing of that sort. There is a SPAR shop by the bus stop TEN MINUTES walk into town. The hotel is situated quite far away if you are on foot from the big main beach of L'Hospitalet to the right when you come out of the hotel you have a long hike and there are NO SHOPS there either! although the beachs are beautiful and aplenty and the sea is gorgeous here I admit. There is a market right outside the hotel on a Sunday which is great btw so look out for that IT'S A SAVING GRACE. Unfortunately as beautiful as this area is, it is VERY QUIET Now we like quiet but this town is dead and we will not be coming back. And we don't drink alcohol so we weren't wanting rowdy bars and lively hotels. I suggest if you want all the beauty of the area and lovely shops, restaurants, bars etc then you stay in CAMBRILS PORT AREA which is far superior to L'Hospitalet de L'enfant. It's vibrant without the ugliness of Salou and yet FRIENDLY and so much more to do and see. We were very disappointed with our holiday here and WILL NOT BE RETURNING. If you want SUPER quiet go here. Sorry Meridia Mar you weren't helpful and accommodating and you were UNFRIENDLY!

Everything very good

Hemos pasado 1 semana estupenda en este hotel. El buffet, aunque era pequeño, estaba todo rico. La ubicación es perfecta para moverse tanto por Hospitalet como por Miami. Además, estaba cerca de la playa y del puerto deportivo, y los domingos ponen un mercadillo enfrente. El hotel en general está muy bien. Las habitaciones amplias, limpias y ordenadas. Nuestra habitación pertenecía a la 2a planta que contaba con una terraza muy grande. Dispone de parking con plazas limitadas , pero podíamos aparcar cerca del hotel sin problemas. La zona azul estaba desactivada. el personal muy amable y correcto. La zona de la piscina estaba bien, cubría poco pero no estaba mal y el césped estaba bien cuidado.

El check out es a las 10h, podrían ponerlo un poco más tarde ...así para poder tener algo de tiempo para terminar de recoger todo. Los horarios de las comidas, también podrían ampliarlos un poco, por ejemplo el desayuno era de 8 a 10h, es un horario bastante limitado... y hay gente que quiere descansar un poco más.

Ya habíamos estado en este hotel, las habitaciones estaban recién remodeladas, baño grande, camas cómodas, el bufet estaba muy bien y la piscina también, hemos notado un gran cambio a mejor y eso que ya estábamos contentos con este hotel. Tienes parking gratuito en el hotel, ascensor, zona de juegos, en general todo muy bien.

La limpieza de la habitación era mejorable, solo nos cambiaron las toallas una vez y una de las que nos pusieron limpias tenía unas manchas amarillas, nos ponían poco papel higiénico y no repusieron el champú. Había mucha sensación de humedad en la habitación, incluso al meterte en la cama parecía que esta estaba mojada (podrían poner deshumidificadores) y la nevera no enfriaba, además desprendía calor.

Very good base for beachrs in the area. Room (4th floor) refurbished and modernized with a sea view and small balcony. Breakfast very varied, coffee machine could be better.

La habitación para un matrimonio y una hija adulta muy pequeña, en la foto de la publicidad parecían más grandes, me queda la duda si realmente todas las habitaciones que son para tres son así de pequeñas o es que nos toco a nosotros

La comida excelente. El trato del personal bien, en especial el restaurante, muy agradables y atentas. La estancia en general muy bien. Recomendable.

I suppose the sea view balconies technically have a sea view, but it’s not what you’d call a full view of the ocean. That said, the staff was great and I’m happy with my stay.

El hotel necesita mantenimiento.Tanto las terrazas de las habitaciones como la piscina.Desde la piscina seve en los desagües de las habitaciones llevas.Y la piscina los bordes interiores les falta borada alas recholas o gresite. Y en la barra del bar faltaría más variedad de cerveza y alcohol.Y alguna tapa que otra.El personal impecable

Alojamiento cerca de la playa, con personal amable y habitaciones la mayoría con vistas al mar (las que no son en planta baja). Buffet muy bueno con variedad.

Haria alguna pequeña reforma, y en el buffet me faltaron carteles para saber que era específicamente cada cosa.

La comida estaba muy buena, las camas muy cómodas y el personal muy atentos y agradables

El vino caro 15 euros y malísimo, y que te cobran el agua que es del grifo, lo pasan por un filtro y por eso 1'50 por un litro de agua

Me gustó la ubicación, no hay zona azul y puedes aparcar sin dificultad, limpieza, hotel tranquilo, sin ruidos, buffet excelente sin esperas o mínimas,. La playa fabulosa y sin apenas gente.

La atención en la barra del bar que había que esperar muchas veces por falta de camareros.

El trato y la rapidez de los camareros en el buffet, el cual es pequeño pero es preferible que sea pequeño y la calidad de la comida sea ideal, a qué sea más grande y la comida no sirva para nada. Así que genial!

En la habitación le falta un poco de actualización, además echamos en falta una mesa y una silla para dejar las cosas. En el baño, la ducha perdía agua, teníamos que estar poniendo toallas cada vez que nos duchamos para que no nos llegará el agua a la habitación. El tendedor de afuera, podría ser un poco más grande ya que en verano utilizamos muchas cosas de baño y se nos hace estrecho.

Nuestra reserva era habitación doble y nos encontramos tres camas. La tercera estorbaba para pasar al baño. Pedimos en recepción que retirarán la cama y nos dijeron que no podían ni retirar la cama, ni darnos otra habitación.

La cercanía de la playa y el aparcamiento en la puerta sin tener que pagar. El personal del restaurante muy amable.

La habitación muy sencilla, al lado de la piscina pero todo el mundo te pasa por delante y por tu "terraza". La comida del buffet muy simple y poca variedad, los postres bastante penosos, variedad de fruta... El precio me parece carisimo para la poca calidad que tiene. Una gran decepción.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent near to a very good beach.

Qualité du service. Qualité du buffet. Emplacement idéal à proximité de la mer et dans un quartier calme. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Personnel agréable et serviable.

Si la literie est confortable, les lits séparés ne sont pas l'idéal pour un couple.

El buffet es buenísimo. La ubicación excelente, y el personal muy atentos y agradables. Repetiremos.

Excelente localização, staff simpático e prestável.

As fotos não refletem a qualidade da piscina que só tinha 1 metro de profundidade, e musica todo o dia, nem respeitando a hora de la siesta. As camas também não eram muito confortáveis. As refeições, apesar de haver alguma variedade, os grelhados eram de um peixe sem sabor e os de carne, com muita gordura, com opções no restante pouco saudáveis. As sobremesas aceitáveis.

Кухня вкусная и разнообразная, порадовал просторный обеденный зал, отсутствие очередей за едой. Отель очень тихий и спокойный, море чистое, мало народа на пляже. Вообще тихое место, бесплатная парковка на территории отеля и на улице.

La ubicación muy bien al lado del puerto.

Necesitaría un reforma para ponerlo un poco al día,había ventanales de los pasillos rotos sujetos con cinta, la habitación que tuvimos daba a una especie de terraza donde están las máquinas de aire acondicionado y la vista era fea, eso lo arreglas un poco con unas plantas y cambia mucho.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Cuisine excellente, choix très correct Chambre correcte.

La ubicación, la comodidad de la piscina, tamaño de habitación, baño y terraza.

El bufé libre era un poco repetitivo y con mucho uso de salsas.

La ,chambre réunissait le confort qu'on attend pour un court séjour, avec une literie confortable. L'environnement nocturne particulièrement silencieux et une plage de sable fin et d'eau peu profonde, idéale pour les enfants.

Tout était très agréable.
