Grand Mercure Jinan Sunshine

Clean and the helping staffs

Rien

Rien

Non-smoking rooms heavily smells of smoking. Broken bathroom door. Rooms and hotel started to look run down. Needs an upgrade.

Location and staff

Air conditioning not working

Super easy Check inn, Location & Breakfast was really Good. They allowed us late checkout as our flight was late. Thumbs up to them

Friendly staff, convenient area with grocery stores and restaurants, close to malls for shoppping.

staff is very friendly and helpfull

location is a little bit off from tourist spot

almost a person speaking englis please. Thanks

comfort room

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful city of JiNan. The breakfast service was horrible. No server took care of the breakfast area. When you tried hard to find one, they were very rude and showed cold face. They even said breakfast service and hotel service were separate. Even we paid breakfast already, they asked to pay extra. And we were supposed to get fruits in the room, but it never happened.

The distance to tourist attractions are inaccurate, the estimates on the website is time WITHOUT traffic, it triples with traffic. Hotel facility is pretty old and poor sound proof.

The breakfast was great and The location was perfect

The hotel Room has table and comfortable chair and I was able to work.

a nice place ton stay!

Location was all right, surroundings also good with a different options regarding restaurants and shops. Hotel itself was perfect, I really did not find anything that would have to be improved, breakfasts were nice with a lot of different kinds of things to eat. Fully recommended!!

Reasonably good.

Distance from MRT.

Amazing breakfast selection. We left early in the morning and the staff helped with packing our breakfast for the road.

We were not able to control the AC , had to call in for help

The location was perfect, room had a great view. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was a bonus even though it wasn't included with the booking, it was provided by the hotel without additional charge.

N/A

Love the location of the hotel. Very convenient for my colleagues and I to walk around. The staffs are amazing - really helpful and friendly. Foods are okay. Rooms quite big and comfortable.

Professional, friendly and courteous treatment by staff exceeded expectations; efficient check-in procedures and follow-up interactions; excellent condition of room (suite interior design aesthetics) and hotel facilities as well as efficient, reliable service assistance (much appreciated); was extremely sell-suited to the mostly interior stay intended

Facilities is not so good, Seeml a little bit old. windows are too small

Overall, it was good. The buffet area was crowded during weekend.

I think this hotel deserves better rating than what it is showing on website. I chose the rate including breakfast, and it is well worth it. There are many varieties of choices including both western and Chinese and the restaurant is clean and spacious. All the serving staff were excellent with one exception - a very mean young waitress at breakfast time. The buffet dinner was excellent too, especially we paid for one and got the second person free as we are over age 60. Though the hotel is not near any train or subway station, there are many local bus routes nearby. There are two big shopping centers, one within 5 minute and the other 10 minute walk. I will definitely stay there again on future visits.

Die besten Jahre sind vorbei. Schreckliches Frühstück!

Was good , mrs Ivan was of great help

Staff was very friendly and helpfully, rooms are fantastic, the Oasis Restaurant is good, you find everything, Chinese buffet, Sushi and Western food. Desserts are improvable. WIFI unfortunately very slow. The price - quality ratio is very good.

It is a good hotel in general. Will stay with it next time if travel to there again.

Hotel staff was exceptional and spoke English. Our concierge Alex was eager to help! He was friendly and professional.

Good hotel, but nothing around

Very good experience. Had a problem with AC in the room. Called the front desk and they had maintenance up within 5 minutes at around 10pm and they fixed the problem. Very pleased with their responsivness.

The room is clean and big. The staffs are friendly. Five stars for everything except the location.

This is a good hotel with friendly staff. Most staff are able to speak English decently.

All staffs are too much friendly, room conditions are perfact. And breakfast is great. If you travel to Jinan, I strongly recommend to all ^^

Awesome hotel. Great location .rooms very clean and spacious. Free breakfast a great value--yum

This hotel does not have a very good neighborhood, the taxi going in/out of this hotel to/from airport will charge you a lot and not by meter. If you don't speak their luggage, for sure they will overcharge you. Room service was terrible too, I have to keep calling and chasing them for my food 5am in the morning.; very sad of this hotel.

this hotel was a wonderful selection for my business trip. Good staff, good room, and great location!

Value for money :)

The rooms are clean. The hotel staff are very kind. The breakfast is very delicious. I was fully satisfied with Grand Mecure Jinan Sunshine.

good 4-stars level hotel. clean, comfort and economy, but long distance from airport.

The hotel is well maintained. It was clean, cozy and comfortable.

I stayed here at the recommendation of my contact in Jinan. This hotel was located about 5 minutes from her personal residence so it was convenient for her to pick me up/drop me off from the airport. The inside looks much better than the outside. I will probably stay here again next time I visit Jinan.

Great Stay...will choose it again.

The hotel was overall quite good. The only downside was the inconvenient location as it is quite difficult to get a taxi in the morning. Be prepare to wait at least 40 mins for one in the morning so you won't arrive late to your meeting.

The hotel name did not match to the actual name. Anyway. The service was good, the quality of room is good, when I opened the door, "Wow~" Not too many restaurant was near the hotel, traffic location was not good enough, by taxi was OK. Otherwise, you had to be by bus and by bus for your destination (it was somehow not convenience)

The staff were helpful and pleasant. Although the room rate was reasonable for a second-tier Chinese city, the breakfast was pricey.

Overall a good stay. Staff are quite friendly. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. The facility is relatively new. The lobby is small so you always saw people hanging around the lobby. The hotel is a four star standard hotel. The location is not too far away from the city, and it's easy to get a cab. Walmart and some restaurants are in the same complex as the hotel so it's convenient to do grocery shopping. I will recommend this hotel.

Service is exelent, weby nice and clean rooms for nice price. Only problems with Cold food would be better in they take care more about restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised by the Grand Mercure Jinan. The hotel was a big reason why I enjoyed Jinan so much. From the get-go the staff was super friendly and attentive. I asked for a higher floor. They not only obliged but upgraded me to a suite! The hotel was recently built (September, 2011) and it really shows. The facilities are top-notch and the quality of service leaves little to be desired. I would definitely return.
