Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Las camas es lo más incómodo del mundo, hace mucho no dormía en unos colchones tan nefastos. Se escucha el ruido de todo de las habitaciones de al lado, las tuberías de agua. Incómodo, si bien el lugar quiere conservar una estética “colonial” descuida también cosas que deben ser requisitos del día a día. No hay una nevera en la habitación, el televisor es de los antiguos, muy mal.. la verdad

El TV de la habitacion es muy antiguo, seria interesante tener un TV inteligente. A veces se apago solo.

It is listed as five star on booking.com site, but 3-star the most. The facility is as old as the monastery, room and bath is dirty, wash basin is leaking water to the floor. Breakfast has less items than holiday inn express. Hotel front desk wouldn’t let us check out a couple of hours late even the hotel is 90% empty.

La cour intérieure avec sa fontaine, ses arcades, les chambres grandes et décorées à l’ancienne font voyager dans le temps. Personnel attentif et agréable. Très bon petit déjeuner varié et copieux (buffet).

Une valeur sûre pour votre séjour à Popayan (nous avons eu l'occasion de tester d'autres hotels qui ne répondaient pas à notre besoin en terme d'isolation sonore). Nous reviendrons volontiers!

Supongo tema dificil de gestionar pero hace mucho ruido las tuberìas vecinas a la habitación (sentimos quizá sea cuando otra habitación usó los servicios). Importante tener personal atento a limpiar piscina cuando se vaya usar (o dejar la red para bichos disponible).

El Hotel es muy antiguo y requiere actualización en las habitaciones, pisos y camas. Solo tenían 10 canales de tv sin cable , el tv se apagaba solo por antiguo que es; así es que no era fácil saber sobre noticias internacionales y el WIFI no tenia buena señal en algunas áreas del hotel. Precio alto versus lo que ofrecen.

Although the momentary is beautiful in its self the general comfort of guest should be taken into consideration such as upgrading the media available to the guest in their rooms the general food quality and add coffee and tea in the rooms and a fridge mini bar. This would add to the value for money paid and also the Hotels does pride itself as a 5 Star Property which is not quit there yet?

Das Frühstücksangebot könnte besser sein - das Personal dort ist ziemlich unmotiviert, deckt die Tische kaum ein und steht nur rum - das geht deutlich besser!

Die ruhigen Zimmer mit bequemen Betten, zum schönen, großen, liebevoll bepflanzten Innenhof sind groß und stilvoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und auch das Abendessen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker, es gibt (Wok-) Gemüse!

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Ein interessantes Hotel in den ehemaligen Klostermauern. Deshalb gilt es aufgrund der Gegebenheiten Abstriche zu machen ( Dusche ..) Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, dadurch war es grundsätzlich nachts auch sehr ruhig. Die zentrale Lage war super, wobei in dem Gemäuer des Klosters die laute und quirrlige Altstadt kaum zu bemerken war. Das Frühstück war super und auch das normale Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Kompliment an die Küche.
In Anbtracht der Gegebenheiten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Somos de perú mas de 25 años de turismo tenemos mas de tres empresas, y a la recepción le falta explicar mas sobre el hotel, horarios de desayuno y donde esta la piscina, etc. El Botones si nos explicó la parte mas amable del hotel, en el turismo el rostro del personal es importante o tratar de no tener una mirada fuerte o enojada. Cuando se llama al mesero nos dio una ademan o seña con la mano espere ,no vino, y mandó a otro a pasarnos aji o picante. La actitud es importante. Z

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Es un hotel colonial hermosísimo y muy bien tenido. Se puede ir caminando a cualquier sitio del centro histórico. Las habitaciones son muy amplias. La terraza del restaurante tiene una vista al jardín y a la piscina que es muy bonita. Los empleados son muy atentos. Los muebles de cuero y madera son espectaculares. Me encantaron las flores frescas que ponen en los jarrones de los corredores.

1. No me gustó que no estuviese lista la habitación en el momento de llegada al hotel. Creo que había un viajero que no la desocupaba. Nos tocó ir a una cita médica mientras nos arreglaban el cuarto. 2. La ducha presentó un encharcamiento donde se acumulaba gran cantidad de agua que me daba hasta media pierna y fué muy incómodo. A pesar de que comuniqué al personal, hicieron caso omiso y no arreglaron este detalle.3. El pistillo de seguridad de la puerta de entrada al cuarto estaba dañado, no funcionó. 4. El televisor muy pequeño y anticuado, ya que hay un buen espacio para instalar un buen televisor y más moderno. 5. No me gustó la cortina plástica de la ducha, pues Dada la categoría del hotel, lo mejor sería un baño con vidrio templado. Pernoctamos en la habitación 102. En conclusión: volvería a ese hotel en una mejor habitación. Muchas gracias.
