Reviewed Sep 19, 2026A cosy hotel. Quiet location. The room was well laid out so there was plenty of space. Good desk for working. Big shower cabinet ++++!! The staff really bent over backwards ensuring good service, wow. The breakfast was very fresh. Pleasant surroundings. Excellent communication by the hotel.
No way you can find this w/o navigator. Limited parking BUT the staff REALLY helped out with this. Maybe some youghurt to be added to the breakfast menu? (Just a suggestion - the breakfast was good.) A tablelight would be useful at the working desk in the room.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Kurzer Fussweg in die Innenstadt, Betten waren o.k. Wasserkocher für Tee und Kaffee vorhanden. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. Stock, es gibt keinen Aufzug. Wer schlecht zu Fuss ist, tut sich schwer. Check in und Frühstück im ggü. liegenden Hotel, ist aber alles gut beschrieben. Wir konnten 1 Stunde früher in unser Zimmer. Personal war sehr nett, zum Frühstück gab es alles was man braucht. Fahrräder können nicht verschlossen untergestellt werden, nur auf öffentlichem Fahrradstellplatz an der Kirche ggü..

Pour accéder aux chambres un escalier très sportif étroit et marches haute "impression de monté 5 étages pour 3" plus difficile que le Beffroi. Parking que l'on nous conseil .... Mais un seul badge pour y accéder pour tous les clients ne rien oublié en voiture.

Las sillas de las habitaciones están completamente despellejadas. Para tenerlas así, mejor que no estén. Hay muchísimos mosquitos, por lo que se agradecería una mosquitera o algún enchufe anti mosquitos. También se ven en las paredes restregones de haber matado mosquitos otras personas y eso no lo limpian.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Hotel situato in una zona residenziale molto comoda, silenziosa e tranquilla vicino alla zona più centrale. E' un vecchio palazzo bellissimo con anche un giardino (chiuso durante la mia permanenza). La stanza era stata ristrutturata di recente. Da tenere conto che non ha ascensore. Il check in è da effettuare presso l'hotel adiacente, forse non avevano personale per entrambe le strutture? Colazione molto buona e personale gentilissimo.
Nelle vicinanze non ci sono ristoranti o posti dove cenare.Per me non è stato un problema però da tenere presente l'assenza dell'ascenzore.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Très bon emplacement dans un quartier calme, à 15 minutes à pied environ du centre ville. Possibilité de se garer dans la rue avec parcmètre (limite en heures mais gratuit la nuit). Nous avons laissé la voiture au parking gratuit de Coiseaukaai 3 nuits à 25 minutes à pied, balade agréable le long du canal. Hôtel propre et personnel gentil, parlant français. Le check in et le petit déjeuner se font en face à l'hôtel Jacobs. Large choix au petit déjeuner et très bon.
Chaises abîmées dans une chambre.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026I loved the room, well cleaned with everything we needed. There was an aloe vera hand moisturizer in the bathroom, so good. It reminded me of my country, Brazil. I think the breakfast was great, delicious and fresh. The people who work there are so polite and gentle. Thank you everybody!
I liked everything, I just missed something Belgian for breakfast, like waffles, pies, stroopwafel... This is my only recommendation. I travel a lot, what I most remember about the hotels I go is the breakfast.

Attenzione al cliente completamente assente: appena arrivati ci siamo fatti 3 piani a piedi con 3 valigie, ok non avere L’ascensore e farlo presente, ma al momento del check-in sarebbe carino che il personale si proponesse di dare una mano. Tolto questo, appena arrivati (e dopo aver fatto su e giù per le scale con le valigie), la chiave non funzionava, abbiamo chiamato la ragazza alla reception dove ci ha chiesto di tornare giù (tra parentesi un altro stabile). Risaliamo per la quarta volta e ci troviamo un Wi-Fi non funzionante (dopo 10 giorni all’estero è vitale poiché i giga iniziano a finire), dopo aver insistito e dopo che anche la receptionist i verifica che effettivamente non funziona il sito, l’unica risposta data è stato “è un vostro problema”, e ci hanno abbandonato così, nonostante avessimo anche richiesto una stanza più vicina alla reception per superare il problema Wi-Fi, ma comunque non ci hanno aiutato. La ragazza da quel momento ha azzerato completamente il dialogo, tanto che la mattina seguente non ha neanche risposto al nostro “buongiorno”. L’aria condizionata funziona 10 minuti si e poi non parte più (abbiamo il video) e direi essere essenziale visto che le camere sono all’interno di una porta che porta all’ingresso bloccando così il passaggio d’aria. La camera non si chiude a chiave, quindi abbiamo letteralmente bloccato la porta con le valigie! L’ultimo giorno, alle 8 di mattina, dalla porta accanto (preciso che la stanza non era una camera per ospiti ma accoglieva materiali e, suppongo, altro) è partito un allarme che, ovviamente, ci ha svegliato; di fatto nessuno dello staff si è preoccupato di verificare il perché dell’allarme…

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026L'emplacement est parfait. Petit déjeuner parfait aussi, autant du salé que du sucré, salade de fruits frais. Je recommande cet hôtel, si nous devons revenir à Bruges je réserverai de nouveau cet hôtel.
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'ascenseur et que la vue au 3eme étage soit gâché par la cheminée.

The breakfast was really very disappointed.. so few options and if you have Laktoseintoleranz you have zero options.. even bailed eggs were not offered, bread just one type and taste good at all, cheese was also one option and wasn't good. I had to skip the breakfast for the rest of the three days however i pay enough for it

Vijf trappen op lopen naar kamer en kamers heel gehorig plus de uitleg bij inchecken heeft gezorgd dat we omdat onze auto nog even voor de deur stond en er een obstakel voor de betaalpaal stond dat we in die paar minuten juist een bon hebben gekregen, bij hulp vragen aan de balie vh hotel zeiden ze dat ze er niets aan konden doen dus bon 40 euro ....heel vervelend

La struttura è vecchia e tenuta male. La pulizia è sommaria, non ti cambiano nemmeno le asciugamani, mancano zanzariere alle finestre ed un sistema di condizionamento. La colazione è anche eccessivamente scarna. La camera era al secondo piano senza ascensore e le scale sono strettissime.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und es ist in einem sehr schönen, alten Haus untergebracht. Das Bad war neu. Es gab zum Glück eine Klimaanlage, sonst wäre es im Dachgeschoss nicht aushaltbar gewesen. Der Frühstücksraum war zwar im anderen Haus, aber sehr schön eingerichtet und das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker.
Das Zimmer lag im 3. OG und war über eine enge, steile Treppe erreichbar. Für uns war es schwer das Gepäck hoch und runter zu bekommen, aber machbar. Eine Info im Vorfeld wäre für einige aber wichtig, denke ich. Das Zimmer war sehr funktionell eingerichtet und die Möbel abgenutzt. Die Stühle haben ihre Bezüge bereits teilweise verloren und der Teil des Kunstleders, der noch dran war hat sich dann gerne am Gast festgehalten, wenn man drauf saß. (siehe Bilder)

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026If you're only going there to sleep, I don't see much to complain about. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was a great size. The breakfast at the hotel next door was brilliant and it didn't bother me to have to cross the street.
The hotel and rooms definitely have some quirks... where you can tell the rooms are a tiny bit old but not as bad as I expected reading the reviews. The location is about a 10ish min walk from the centre but it is in a quiet area so it doesn't feel hectic.

Bij het aankomen lag er nog vanalles op de trap, waardoor het moeilijk was om de kamer te bereiken. Stofzuiger stond letterlijk bovenaan de trap waardoor je bijna niet kon passeren en het zelfs gevaarlijk was. Lakens nog op de vloer. Voor de rest was wel alles top!!

Not so much really. Nothing not to like. Just a bit quirky and stairs in room to beds wouldn't suit anyone with any mobility issues. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026In posizione strategica vicino al centro ma molto traquillo; stanza luminosa, con ampia vedrata affacciata sulla cattadrale antistante. Colazione ( servita nell'hotel antistante) abbondante, di buona qualità, costantemente rifornita. Personale molto discreto e dsiponnibile, Stanza curata e ben pulita. Bollitore e macchina caffè in camera.
...qualche zanzara..ma non dipende dalla struttura, che comunque fornisce forneletto con piastrina antizanzare, in caso di bisogno. Riferito alla città: parcheggi un pò cari. (e 23/25 al giorno) Meglio fare due passi ( o usare nevetta gratuita) e optare per quello alla stazione ( € 7,10 /24h)

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Die Lage ist toll und das Frühstück frisch und absolut ausreichend. Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist super für einen Aufenthalt von zwei Tagen im wunderschönen Brügge.
Mückenschutz für die Dachfenster wäre wünschenswert.

The drains in the hotel smelt badly and the car park felt a little expensive...50 euros for 2 days

De kamer, ik had iets meer verwacht voor het geld dat ik er voor betaald had !!! En het was zo heet!!! Een waaier op de kamer maar dat hielp niet met de warmte!!

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026La localisation est parfaite pour tout faire à pied. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et à volonté.
Pas de climatisation et fenêtres que l'on peut qu'entrouvrir. Les ventilateurs étaient plein de poussière et l'un d'entre eux (nous avions pris trois chambres) était en colonne qui ne ventilait que le bas du lit (inadapté). Ça a été très compliqué pendant cette période de canicule...
