The location is excellent—5 minutes to the historic center. There is an elevator. There is a nice view from the restaurant on the 5th floor and the relaxation area on the 6th floor. The breakfast was superb.

Parking isn't great, but that’s understandable given the location—it’s practically the city center. There is a public parking lot on the parallel street nearby.

Una settimana prima del ns arrivo ci hanno segnalato che la Spa non era utilizzabile per ristrutturazione. La pulizia del bagno non è stata curata, abbiamo dovuto segnalare di effettuare una pulizia più accurata, la cassaforte interna non funzionava. la colazione si effettua al 5 piano su una terrazza con una bellissima veduta al costo di 12,00 che però non aveva una scelta di livello, in più il cliente deve farsi tutto da solo, dalle bevande, the, caffè ecc, ai pancake al pane bruschettato, hanno una macchina per ogni richiesta, il problema sono le file di clienti che si creano e la bontà che a mio avviso si perde, per esempio i pancake ed il caffè non erano buoni.

Hotel was lovely , in a very good location centre is only 10 minutes walk, near restaurants, cafes shops and bars and very close to harbour enjoyed our stay at the hotel, staff were friendly and helpful bar on 5th floor had outdoor seating and had an amazing view over the harbour also there was an outside solarium on the 6th floor with comfortable seating and a dip pool .

I was very disappointed to get an email close our arrival stating that Spa and pool would be closed during our stay for renovation. I chose this hotel so we could access pool and spa and we should have been given this information earlier, we had already paid in full so couldn't book another hotel. Also there was construction work being carried out very early every morning ,we weren't told about this either.

Notre chambre située au 4eme étage était assez mal insonorisée, on entendait la télévision de la chambre voisine et des ronflements la nuit Accès à la piscine de l'hôtel moyennant la location d'un peignoir (10€) mais pas de serviette à disposition à la piscine et interdiction d'apporter les serviettes de la chambre. Manque de matelas sur les transats du rooftop

Vállalható hotel, jakuzzival a tetőn, ahonnan gyönyörű kilátás nyílik. A tetőtéri koktélbár hangulata is nagyon kellemes. Magyaroknak is bátran ajánlom figyelmébe ezt a hotelt. Elhelyezkedése kiváló, Algheróban az egyik legjobb árértèk arányú szálláslehetőség.

Egyetlen dolgot hiányoltam: jó lenne, ha a teraszokra kihelyeznének egy kihajtható törölközőszárítót, hiszen sokan éppen a tengerben való fürdőzés miatt látogatják ezt a kis, gyönyörű várost. Összességében azonban nagyon elégedett voltam a szállással.

Amazing view and location, next to many nice restaurants and historic monuments

Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la posizione dell’hotel. La colazione varia e buona, servita nella terrazza panoramica. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. L’albergo è pulito e la camera tripla ha il terzo letto grande e comodo.

Solely the location!

Should be condemned for black mold and bed bugs! After night one my girlfriend complained about several bites on her arm. After returning to the room late, waking up on day two with more bites we stripped back the sheets to find bugs in and on the sheets. After notifying to the hotel staff/manager with video footage to prove the bugs were were told 1/2 nights would be refunded to compensate this issue. After 24hrs we followed up on their refund status, the manager said we won’t issue a refund because we could have faked our time/location stamped videos…very unprofessional.

Tutto. Il personale sembra prenderti in giro con il sorrisetto sulla bocca. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno offerto 2 cocktail di benvenuto, ma nella realtà si poteva scegliere solo tra pochissime cose. Abbiamo scelto due prosecchi e chiedendo che prosecco era ci è stato risposto sempre con tono sarcastico che era della casa… insomma una schifezza terribile. Tutta la struttura comprese le camere sono vecchie e fatiscenti, non all’altezza del prezzo pagato per soggiornarvi. Sentendo anche altri che soggiornavano lì ci hanno detto la stessa cosa. Fortunatamente ci siamo fermati solo 1 notte, ogni modo se volete un consiglio statene alla larga.

Que el balcón que realmente es muy lindo y la vista al mar excepcional, me molestó que tuviera espejo en el techo y ver .mediante ese espejo a los vecinos y viceversa.

Très proche du centre historique et animé, l'accès est facile. Le roof-top avec jaccusi est magnifique et la salle de déjeuner offre une vue splendide sur la vieille ville.

Chambre très sombre (2ème étage sur 7 donnant sur mini cour intérieure). Sèche-cheveux d'un autre âge. Hôtel dans l'ensemble très vieillissant sauf les étages restaurant et roof-top.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Alghero. Alles ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Sehr schönes Frühstück über den Dächern von Alghero und auch seinen abendlichen Cocktail kann man hier oben genießen. Der Roof-Top lädt absolut zum Entspannen ein mit ausreichend Liegen und Whirlpool. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und die Betten sehr bequem. Im Zimmer war auch ein großer Schrank, so dass man nicht aus dem Koffer leben muss. Wir sind täglich zum Strand gelaufen, man kann aber auch problemlos mit dem Bus die Strandstraße abfahren. Zur Altstadt sind es nur wenige Meter.

Moj utisak o Algheru nije naročito pozitivan. Očekivala sam mnogo više, posebno zato što se Sardinija predstavlja kao jedna od najlepših mediteranskih destinacija. Alghero mi je, međutim, ostavio utisak prilično prosečnog turističkog mesta. Stari grad ima šarma i lepu poziciju uz more, ali mi nije delovao dovoljno uređen, elegantan i sadržajan da bi opravdao reputaciju koju ima. Plaže neposredno uz grad nisu posebno impresivne. Neke su kamenite, dok se na peščanim (Lido) osećao neprijatan miris. Za one "lepe" potrebno je odlaziti van grada. Autobuski prevoz do preporučenih plaža postoji, ali je nesiguran i nepouzdan. Dešavalo se da četiri autobusa prođu i ne stanu na svakom stajalištu jer su navodno puni ili ne prime putnike koji nisu kupili kartu. I sama zvanična turistička ponuda izdvaja Maria Pia, Le Bombarde, Lazzaretto i Mugoni kao glavne adute okolnog područja, što dosta govori o tome gde se zapravo nalazi ono najbolje. Na mestima koja su izrazito turistička očekivala bih više uređenosti, bolju uslugu, više autentičnosti i veći izbor sadržaja. Umesto toga, na pojedinim mestima Alghero ostavlja utisak pomalo zapuštenog i prenaglašenog turističkog grada. Možda bih ga čak ocenila kao destinaciju kojoj se ne bih posebno vraćala. Ako bih ipak ponovo dolazila na Sardiniju zbog mora, plaža i ukupnog ambijenta, tražila bih drugi deo ostrva.

L’hôtel est un peu vieillot et dans son jus, dans la chambre le mobilier était très minimaliste, mais une grande douche italienne bien agréable. En revanche le lit que nous avions était catastrophique extrêmement dur et nous sentions tous les ressorts, donc une nuit très inconfortable. Nous sommes partis très tôt donc nous n’avons pas prit le petit déjeuner. Nous avons vu effectivement que la piscine et le jacuzzi était en supplément mais nous n’avons testé.

La difficulté de stationner à proximité de l’hôtel

The location is very convenient, the room was clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. We chose this hotel because it advertised on-site parking, but unfortunately we were not able to use the hotel parking on any day of our stay as it was always full. That said, we had no difficulty finding free parking about a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

One downside was that our room was near the breakfast area, so we could hear some noise early in the morning. However, the sea view made up for it.

My partner and I went to La Margherita Hotel for a two night stay in Alghero. Room was clean and we got a two balcony room at the corner of the hotel. Check in went quick and we got complimentary vouchers for either mimosa, prosecco or fruit juice at the roof top bar. We did not try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Location to reach restaurants and old town by foot was perfect, maybe a bit far from Spiaggia del Lido but I would definitely say manageable. Overall, a good stay for a three star hotel with a reasonable price during peak season. Only thing was that the mini-bar was not that cold, but I have noticed that it goes for all hotels we have stayed at in Sardinia.

Emplacement parfait. Très jolie vue depuis le rooftop, personnel super gentil et compétent. Le spa est agréable malgré le bain à bulles non fonctionnel. Bonus pour la qualité du massage.

La salle de bain est préhistorique, la propreté est moyenne (fourmis dans la chambre), les lits sont très durs et les chambres sont très très mal insonorisées. C'est compliqué de dormir avec le bruit continu du raclement des chaises à l'étage supérieur. On entend même le bruit des voisins qui urinent durant la nuit. Repos zéro. L'hôtel dans son ensemble est très vieillot.

Great location but the rest is a scam

Where do I begin! I paid 200euros per night for a hotel that hasn't been renovated since it was a 2 stars hotel in the 50s, you have a hair dryer that I looks like a vacuum, you will have to ask for a real one at the desk. Beds with fading paint and just old. Bed lamps that don't work. Staff semi pleasant. A plastic blue trash bin that looked that just bought it at the next china 99cent store, plastic chairs... I can't believe I paid 200euros for this!

Without asking for an early check-in the rooms were ready early. The staff was courteous, professional and helpful. They have a good continental breakfast The hotel is walking distance to restaurants, stores and sights to visit. Recommend the hotel if you visit Alghero. Would not hesitate to stay in the hotel if I return to Alghero.

Breakfast only until 10 am. Normally, in all hotels, it is until 10:30 or 11. We’ve almost missed it as we went first for a morning swim.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Avevamo prenotato una camera standard, invece ci hanno fatto un upgrade gratuito, assegnandoci una stanza con una vista bellissima sul mare. È stato un soggiorno molto piacevole. Ottima posizione.

La colazione è un po' essenziale e priva di prodotti locali. Sicuramente si può migliorare.

La COMUNICAZIONE: richiesto in fase di prenotazione di fare check in anticipato alle ore 10 e mi è stato detto di sì, all'arrivo in Hotel alle ore 10 mi hanno fatto aspettare fino alle ore 15 dicendo non essere possibile di avremi risposto in questo modo , nonostante ho fatto vedere il messaggio da loro inviato cercavano di negare l'evidenza ( bastava scusarsi) Il giorno della partenza vengo informata il pomeriggio precedente alle ore 16.30 che le strade della città sono bloccate a causa di un evento sportivo, la via dell hotel aveva la strada chiusa, pertanto non vi era possibilita di lasciare il luogo. Peccato che ero in moto e non avrei potuto parcheggiarla a km di distanza per i bagagli da caricare. La struttura non ha fatto nulla per venirmi incontro. Se lo avessi saputo prima avrei prenotato da un altra parte l'ultima notte. Ho chiesto la possibilita di disdire l'ultima notte ma non purtroppo non me l' avrebbero rimborsata obbligando pertanto a lasciare l'hotel alle ore 5 della mattina. La nave sarebbe partita alle ore 20.30 non sapevano darmi un orario certo della fine dell'evento sportivo. La struttura era al corrente dell'evento avrebbe potuto informarci.

Die Lage und der kurze Weg in die Stadt. Frühstückt draußen auf der Dachterrasse war sehr angenehm und schöner Ausblick.

Wir bekamen zunächst ein Zimmer, in diesem funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht. Nach Reklamation haben wir ein anderes Zimmer erhalten. Das Bad sah zwar modern aus, jedoch hat es nach und nach mehr nach Abwasser gestunken. Zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht. Länger hätten wir das nicht ausgehalten. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr unterschiedlich vom Modernisierungsgrad. In dem ersten Zimmer war noch alles alt und das Bad sehr in die Jahre gekommen… Für den Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet.

Camere complete di tutto e comode, ma via da rinnovare, come peraltro ci hanno confermato. Garage non accessibile per auto medio grandi, meglio specificare. Peraltro molti parcheggi liberi sulle vie, tranquille dei dintorni.

Posizione ottima per il centro. Ristoranti e bar nelle vicinanze. La spiaggia più vicina a piedi 15/20 minuti. Il personale della reception molto cortese e preparato.

Camera non tanto grande il bagno andrebbe rimodernato.

Lo primero que miramos en un hotel que tenga parking, nos indican que sí y la sorpresa es llegar y nos dicen que están ocupados , es un hotel con muchas habitaciones y tienen solo 10 rayas de parking y nos dicen que nos las apañemos que más adelante tendrémos sitio en la calle , cuando en Cerdeña es dificilísimo aparcar y hay parquímetro , así medio día perdido en buscar sitio , preguntamos cómo 3 veces el mismo día y nada y al día siguiente había otra chica y nos dijo que si , sorpresa solo había 2 coches más aparcados , tema de reponer utensilios en el baño de cuatro días 2 a reclamar toallas y papel higiénico, la cama te la hacen pero con tus sábanas usadas, necesita una buena reforma , la puerta de la habitación roza y se oye en toda la planta y la del baño toda levantada lo único que merece la pena es la terraza de arriba y el bar de arriba pero el bar te asfixias si vas durante el día insoportable y pena la chica de la barra

Avrei preferito una colazione più varia. C’era pochissima frutta nonostante fosse il periodo.

Habitación algo pequeña. Estacionamiento con poca capacidad sin posibilidad de reserva. Aún así en junio aún se consigue aparcar en las inmediaciones tanto gratis como pago.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have never been treated so disrespectfully as I was today. The waitress at breakfast was exceptionally impolite and I felt like an inconvenience to her day. I was told to eat my cereal out of a glass as apparently there were no bowls left. Another very kind waiter managed to find me a bowl as he can see how poor the situation was. This may seem a petty thing to complain about but I was made to feel very 2nd glass. I have supported this hotel through good and bad times of its existence which is clearly not appreciated by some of its staff.
