Complimentary Breakfasts were amazing, best I've ever had. Thanks Tony! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location of Joni's was great 30 seconds from beach. Transfer was very well organised. A couple of little things - include black tea in condiments. Only local Filipino TV would be good to add international TV channels - BBC etc. And safe couldnt fit my laptop but staff looked after my laptop each time i left the hotel. Generally the hotel was excellent and I had a great stay

I’ve stayed at various hotels in the past, including all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, Punta Cana, Montego Bay, and Costa Rica, but Jonys Beach Resort stood out as truly unique. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly informative, attentive, and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights for us was the stunning array of plants, particularly the orchids, which reminded us of our grandma who adored them. If she had been with us, she would have fallen in love with the serene and beautiful environment Jonys has cultivated. Jonys Beach Resort embodies the true spirit of hospitality, making our experience unforgettable. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Jonys whenever I’m in Boracay again. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at Jony’s beach resort! The staff are exceptional and super helpful. The rooms are clean and always kept tidy. A few steps from the beach. They have thought of everything guests need: filtered water, beach towels, beach mats, umbrellas in case it rains. The restaurant is just in front and the options are superb! So happy with our stay, we have found our home in Boracay! Thank you Jony’s!!!

Good for family, safe quiet and peaceful

It was a pleasant stay. The staff are all approachable. The resto and the food is very good. The resto is beach front which is a plus. Only comment is that there is no pool in this hotel.

Customer service is top notch. They really know how to make their guests feel at home.

This is an amazing hotel in a great location in Boracay. The hotel rooms, facilities, services are top . The staff is super friendly and hospitable, always ensuring we have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Thought initally getting there from the airport was a little fustrating. Once we arived the service and staff was outstanding. The room was beautiful and modern. Also there is a restaurant across the street with good food and drinks and you can charge it to your room. The beach is right across the street as well. We took the island hoping tour which was a lot of fun. I do wish they would add white sands beach to the tour. The tour guide was on time and awesome as well. Then we did the suset yacth which was also a lot of fun. The hotel is in walking distance of many resturants and bars as well as the night market. Very happy overall with my experience

This is an amazing property for many reasons. Let me start by the greeting! I absolutely fell in love with this property because of the greeting! I have never felt more welcome, more invited to stay somewhere in my life! Jody, Ging, Peta, you three brightened my day after a long day of travel! Their smiles, willingness to help and answer questions and tour of the room and property were second to none! The welcome drink was delicious and on point! The restaurant across the street is fantastic, great food, great drinks, and the beach access from Jonys is fantastic! I will come back here over and over again!

Very good experience, from our check in to our check out, everything went very well. Ms Ging, Ms Fem and the entire staff, they were all very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was absolutely incredible. So willing to assist any needs you may have had. Going to Boracay during the off season is amazing enough, it only makes the experience that much more divine when your staying at a location with such amazing customer service. I will definetely rebook at this location in the future.

Although it is a fairly small hotel, I really enjoyed my stay at Jony’s. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great as it is right next to the beach and close to many restaurants. I would stay here again if I was to be in Boracay again.

WONDERFUL stay from start to finish. We were greeted with a warm welcome (and delicious welcome drink) and always greeted with a friendly smile/hello any time we arrived at the property. Staff at both the resort and restaurant were beyond excellent. The beach is just a few steps across the main road and the resort is located close to Willy’s Rock and the meet up location for the island hopping tours. I highly recommend staying at Jony’s!

This property is absolutely excellent. Wonderful location across from the beach, many dining and shopping options less than 5 minutes walk away, with an absolutely stunning beach right at your door step. Friendly and kind staff, always willing to assist mad for the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend staying here.

The staff at Jony’s was absolutely wonderful! They were incredibly accommodating and so helpful when my sons and I came down with food poisoning - they arranged a visit to a local clinic and also went and got our prescriptions. It doesn’t offer much as far as on site amentities, but does offer beach towels/mats, umbrellas, etc. and their restaurant on the beach has great views and is very nice, if not a bit crowded. However, back to the food poisoning. In general, Boracay is very dirty. There is garbage everywhere and really there isn’t much to be trusted as far as hygiene or cleanliness. We will never come back - my wife is Filipina and she agrees! We’ll stick with Thailand and Vietnam - cleaner, more reliable, and just as, if not more, beautiful when it comes to beaches and things to do.

The front desk stall was professional, courteous, and helpful. I joked with them and said they were all dressed like airline flight attendants LOL!

The thing I liked most about the hotel was the friendliness of the staff. Throughout my 5 day trip there wasn't a single time that I wasn't greeted as I walked past a member of staff. The room was very clean, and house keeping came everyday to clean the room. I didn't see a single cockroach or ant during my 5 night stay here. Another thing that made my trip spectacular was the quality of breakfast served at the hotel in the Maya Restaurant. They had a great selection to choose from such as Filipino breakfast, American breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes. The service was also excellent. Lastly was the location. It's right on the beach. If you want to go out for dinner it's about a 5 minute walk to the main strip of restaurants and DMall. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and I will 100% stay here again! Thanks again guys! :)

close to the beach ,quite at night. pleasant staff from receptions to staff to waiters and guard. clean , but there's a smell coming from the pipes. theres still road constructions on the street to cross to the restaurant but its ok. nice location to just sit and watch the beach. Too many people on the area during sunset.

We stayed at Jony's Beach Resort for 4 nights. The customer service is amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and its quiet at night. Also, the food at the resort restaurant is very good and their fruit shakes are awesome. The only thing my girlfriend and I didn't enjoy, which is out of the resorts control is the road construction going on in front and down the street from Jony's Beach resort . I would highly recommend staying at Jony's beach resort

Perfect location on quieter station 1, yet still walkable to busy station 2 bars and restaurants. On site restaurant, Maya’s, is top notch. Gourmet daily breakfast was included. Staff attentiveness and service was impeccable.

Perfect Location

I really liked Jony's. The staff was friendly and helpful, they gave us a room upgrade, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good... but I must note one problem... there was a strong sewage odor coming from the bathroom, something I noticed at another older hotel in Boracay too... I've heard that there are plumbing and sewage problems in Boracay, not sure if that's the reason or what can be done about it.... but I'd stay there again.

We travelled as a family of 3 for a weekend getaway (Fathers' Day). Chose the hotel based on good reviews & weren’t disappointed. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. The transport pick-up from Kalibo Airport that we called in to arrange was well-handled & smooth. Staff were very welcoming. Got upgraded to La Concha for free - biggest room in the hotel, huge terrace and a beach view. On our first night, the receptionists offered to set up a table for us at the beach front at Maya’s. Food was excellent. They also arranged for all our water sports activities & even managed to get a discount for us. Hotel location: great. It's in Station 1 & across the beach, so it's less crowded. The hotel rooms were also further back from the street, offering extra privacy. The hotel is near enough to D'Mall & just a 3-minute walk to the church. Cons: Wi-Fi signal was not consistent. There’s also no lift in the hotel. Might be an issue for others. Would also have been nice if the La Concha room had 2 bathrooms instead of 1.5. The #1 asset of this hotel would be its people & their excellent service. The counter staff (Miles & all the ladies), driver, security guards & the restaurant staff (special mention to Jeff) were very proactive & welcoming. On our way back the driver escorted us all the way to the Caticlan Jetty & made sure we boarded our bus for Kalibo Airport. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay at this hotel again & recommend.

Have to be persistent to get the attention of staff. AC unit stuck at 16 C. I have to regulate temp by opening balcony door. Need to login to WiFi every few minutes. No Kleenex tissues. Location is good. Their restraunt is very good. Pricey for the facility.

Has been partially refurbished - recent floor tiles and bathrooms. Furniture in good condition but a bit too dark. Fridge works well, is stocked and has good capacity. Room servicing and cleaning unfortunately no better than OK....particularly the bathroom. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.About 20 metres from Hotel to the beach....crossing the road is easy with the very helpful security guard. Maya's ( the restaurant immediately opposite) serves the breakfasts and fresh fruit shakes both of which are excellent. Staff in this restaurant are very helpful and friendly also deserving an excellent score. The lunch and dinner menu probably a bit too biased towards Spanish/Mexican but what they cook they do very well.

Boracay is beautiful and Jony's is excellently placed on the best part of White Beach. Close enough to walk to d'mall but far enough away that it's quiet. Sand quality is best at this point of the beach. Easy walk to Diniwid beach from here too. We stayed in La Concha - family room which was great. Plenty of steps for daily exercise! Some of the other rooms had slightly confusing and a little dated shower equipment. Every single member of staff I encountered at Jony's surpassed expectations. I would struggle to think of another resort I have stayed in that wasn't 5 star that has such great staff.

I don't know where to start , the staff is excellent , the location could not be any better as the sun sets right in front of this hotel , they have a crossing guard at the hotel just for people who stay there , I stayed at Berkeley and lebua and the shangrila all 5 stars and NONE of them had better staff then this , I even left $1300 there by mistake and they sent it to the airport with THIER driver . This is the only place you should stay

Stayed here 3 nights in Febrauty. Staff was extremely gracious. They were very attentive to our needs (tours, transfers to airport): The hotel is steps away from the beach. Located in Station 1 which is nice distance from all the noise in Station 2. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Friendly staff

Stayed 3 nights. Traveling Solo. Rooms were big, with AC and shower. Breakfast was included and good. Access to beach was very easy. Located in the less crazy part of Boracay, but still an easy walk down the beach to the grocery store and D*Mall. Free internet. Relatively inexpensive.

Khaye, who was my point of contact at Jony's She was fantastic . I felt I was a customer for life even before I arrived ! Quick to respond to any email I sent. She just understood and you felt you were in capable hands . All the staff were friendly and pitched their service just right . I wanted the few days to be special and she and staff made it so . We had a blast at Jony's! Service was excellent and room was prepared beautifully with a welcome note and we were greeted with welcome drinks.Restaurant was great too!It's just accross the street and it's beachfront. We'd love to thank Francis who made our visit more special. He was always great and very helpful. When we go back to Boracay we'll be back at Jony's.

I stayed at Jony's Beach Resort from 21-24 Jul and everything was great. The staff was very friendly right on arrival and was even given a mango drink right away with a fresh towel to wipe my face. The resturant was amazing and right on the beach. The location was great, just a little off from station one. I wanted to stay longer.

We chose to have our 5 year anniversary in Boracay and our hotel we picked definitely had a great price, great staff, good restaurant, and good location. We will come be coming back.

The staff was very attentive to our needs and provided us with the best customer service. The complimentary breakfast menu to choose from was awesome! The lunch and dinner menu had so many choices to choose from both Filipino & Mexican cuisines! I enjoyed eating at Jony's my whole stay there and there drinks were Boracay Bomb-astic!

Beachfront spoilt by green algae apparently this comes every year but not published really disgusting made going in the sea impossible for us!! Good rooms very big( deluxe) we had large balcony which had slight sea view 3rd floor.

This is a fantastic hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable place that is well situated by the beach. Really excellent service.

Chose this hotel for it's price and very high rating on another very popular hotel review site. The other site has tendency to scew hotel ratings by approving or rejecting based on staff opinion and this hotel was one of the benefiter of that scewing. Number 8 best hotel in Boracay according to the other site. The hotel is okay but it doesn't deserve such a high rating even at this price point. It's located on the other side of the main road surrounded by other buildings and trees hence blocking out all the tropical sunlight. There is no ocean view and no pool. The room was clean but did have insect problems. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. But it's very basic. Location is good but not secluded nor in middle of all the action. The restaurant associated with the hotel is another matter. The hotel might have too high of a rating on the other site due to the restaurant. But restaurant should be rated seperately. I would not recommend this hotel as first choice in Boracay even at this price point. Boracay is very popular now, almost Chaotic and rooms fill up fast so if this is the only room available it's not a bad choice. But I think there are better stays on the island. One thing I do need to give positive reviews about. This hotel does have cancellation policy. Airline service to this island can get very very bad so most hotels on this island does not offer refund. Sickness, Typhoons, Airline problems, doesn't matter. NO REFUND! on many hotels on this island.

We travel a lot! ….and it isn't often you find a place like Jony's. We loved Jony's Resort. It is clean,quaint, and comfy. Great location, Great breakfast….but most importantly…Amazing staff. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.We originally booked 6 nights, and ended up staying 12 (we only left because they had no vacancy). We would recommend, and we will return! I stayed in Jony's for 2 nights in Feb 2015. Hotel staff was extremely nice and helped me with all my requests. My room had AC and general cleanliness was in good level, so the "hours" that I spent in my room were pleasant. Location of the hotel is probably one of the best in Station 1 if you want to enjoy restaurants and bar life of the beachroad but not to be disturbed by it during the night. Beach restaurant was good and had nice small beach reserved for the customers. This worked really well for me as there was no need to waste time looking for a sunbed/slot around the beach. I would like take my whole family to Boracay one day and Jony's Beach Resort is definitely one of the options we will consider.

Staff are very helpful. Were upgraded to better rooms without us requesting. Stay was awesome. Location across the beach. You would pay double elsewhere to stay on the beach. Better here to pay less and walk across the road to beach. Breakfast was alacarte. Best breakfast ever! Really cool.

Excellent location on Boracay main road and directly onto the beach from the restaurant.Quality and variety of food great both Filipino and Mexican not too pricey - especially if you use the Boracay VIP card or show the tourist guide u get 10% off food & drinks. we were there with friends and all of us enjoyed it. Its lovely to sit there in the restaurant which opens onto the beach and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Great stay, would stay here again.

Amazing safe, fun place to take the family. The staff were very kind. Definately recommend Jony's. Internet was really bad but it reminded me that I was there to relax and not check emails ;) Mango shakes every day.

From the friendly smile of the crossing guard, who holds the traffic as you cross the road, to the helpful bar/restaurant staff, that will go out of their way to make sure you get the best deal from the activities vendors, to the very capable desk staff that make sure that your reservations are made and follow up with hotel transfers etc. you get it all at this cozy and beautifully located hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food is excellent. Its a perfect location for a restful holiday.

Customer service don't understand instruction properly.

The hotel was situated along station 1. The minute we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink. - fresh mango juice. The hotel staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. When we ate at the restaurant, Mayas, the restaurant staff were very friendly as well. This hotel is so convenient and situated at the center of everything. I would definitely go back and stay at Jony's.

I loved this hotel and the staff and the location was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and our stay on the island enjoyable. They even thought of things that we didn't. Loved this place and would definitely love to return.

Jony's hotel has the most awesome service. It is also located i a great spot just a minute away from the craziness to enable you to have a bit more peace and quite and space on the beach. You just have to walk a few steps again to be amongst the action again. I will definitely stay here again.

Stuff were were very helpful at jonys, clean room, powerful ac unit, close to everything. Jonys restaurant probably has the best food out of all the restaurants we tried in boracay, however quality wasn't consistent. But overall, a very good experience, special thanks to Kay at reception!

The service by the staff was amazing. They are very courteous and go out of their way to help you. On the last day we had an early checkout before their kitchen opened. They were so kind to pack sandwiches for us. Great location as well.

- extremely pleasant and helpful staff whom goes beyond receptionist service. Eg. They will deliver breakfast to your door when you had to leave the hotel before their breakfast hours - room service is good even when we request them to make up the room twice in a day. - the water heater at room 204 wasn't working very well. It's either too cold or too hot even though we did not adjust the tap. - extremely near to the white beach. It's just across the road - walking distance to dmall is about 15min (from left of the hotel exit when we walk out). But we have the option to take their local "tuk tuk" at P30-60 too(depends on bargaining skill). Local people told us it's about P20, but so far we are unsucessful in negotiate this price.

Friendly and very helpful staff with great location of hotel.

The only complaint I have about this place is the lack of chaise lounges/ umbrellas out on the very hot and sunny beach. Otherwise, everything was just delightful. The food is superb, the staff are very helpful, and it's in a great location. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is very nice and the price is very reasonable even in peak season. The hotel is not right on the beach, but across the street. 100 meters max walk from your room to the beach. Their restaurant is pretty good too. The location is more towards the end of Station 1, which makes it a little more quiet at night, and good for swimming during the day. The parties are a little farther down the beach, but not a far walk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in going to Boracay, I will return and stay here as well.

Jony's surpassed all my expectations. I did not expect a five star hotel, and that's not what I wanted. Jony's is a homey place with staff who go above and beyond to please their customers. The rooms are clean, quiet, "homey", and have everything that is needed. Comfortable beds, big TV and internet access. One day when we were returning from a beach swim, a front desk staff member came outside to give us our room key, which we had left with them. A nice touch. Staff were very helpful with making reservations for island activities like sailboat excursion and ATV ride to top of Mt. Luho. Our room had a nice second floor balcony which was convenient for drying out wet beach suits and shoes, and for having in-room breakfast on our last morning.

The location was convenient, right across the street from the beach. Hotel needed upgrades to the rooms, price of the room was extremely high. Could have stayed at a higher end hotel for less money and nicer accommodations and right on the beach. The hotel staff was excellent, very willing to help you. I did not get the room I paid for that I booked on hotels.com unfortunately not having good internet you could not get support from hotels.com. The wifi was in and out could never get a solid connection. I would not stay there again.

I loved this place. Not too big not too small. Wonderful staff that made me feel welcome and at home. They have a great breakfast with many options. This was a perfect spot as I was diving all week with Milkys Dive Shop which is walking (barefoot) distance.

We stayed at Jony's for 3 nights in February this year and were very satisfied with our choice overall.

Great hotel - our expectations were met for this mid-range hotel in terms of location, standard of rooms, amenities and service from the staff. The reception was most helpful in organising our transport to and from Kalibo airport and were very responsive to any ongoing requests. The restaurant and breakfast was lovely and we had many meals in the terrific spot that it occupied on the beach. My only quibble is that there are not many sunbeds on the beach and people come down as early as 6/7am to put their towels down which means that you have to wander up the beach to find another sunbed. We mentioned this to the staff and apparently they reserved sunbeds for us on the last day but didn't tell us until we arrived at breakfast and it was too late! The good intention was there so we appreciated the gesture.

Hotel was clean and employees were all extremely friendly and accommodating from the time we walked through the door. Situated across the street from the beach it's close to all the action around boathouse 2 yet far enough away that you don't hear the noise. We would certainly stay here again.

The people in this property is the best thing, everybody tries to their best ability to make the holiday a great one. Mayas restaurant serves some great local cuisine, but the deal clincher are the amazing fruit shakes. On the beach side and a nice relaxed walk away to the happening station 2.

I booked Jony's based on the reviews by other travellers and was in no way disappointed. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and mango shake, delivered from the restaurant. I was then told that I had received a complimentary upgrade to the La Perla suite, which was like a loft style apartment, with the living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs in an open plan layout. The hotel may be a little older than some of the newer resorts in Boracay however it is impeccably clean and well maintained. As many others have commented, the best thing about Jony's is the staff, who provided the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. Breakfast was served at the resaurant just across the road, right on the beach, making for some spectacular views while eating. The restaurant staff would always ask if you would like a sun lounge reserved for after breakfast and would promptly place towels on the sun lounge, in prime position on the beach. Jony's is on the border of stations 1 & 2 so it's far enough away from the party zone to be quiet at night, but only a 5 minute walk along the beach to all the restaurants and bars. I can't wait to visit Boracay again, when I do I will definitely staying at Jony's.
