Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The Albion hotel is perfectly situated in the most amazing city of Ypres, we were absolutely blown away with the city and learning about the history of the place . The staff were very attentive and accommodating and we loved the secure garage for our motorcycle . The breakfast was varied and plentiful to suit all options . Thankyou all at the Albion , we hope to be back one day soon .

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The location was excellent- very close to the central market place & the Menin Gate. Parking was also good - secure & convenient. Breakfast was good.
Our room (1) was separated from the hotel with a side entrance of its own. Whilst spacious it was dark & smelt musty. The decor was dated. It was opposite a building site which started at 7am and being right on the pavement it was noisy from traffic and people talking. It didn’t reflect other parts of the hotel.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Where do I begin? From check in, throughout our stay to check out the staff were super friendly, helpful and all round fabulous! The location was spot on with just a short walk into the main square, bedrooms were superb especially the fabulous modern bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and again always greeted every morning with a fabulous member of staff with a smile. Great parking option and just an all round amazing stay - we will definitely be back and already recommended to family and friends. Thank you all so much to a superb family run hotel - you should all be so proud x

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Eem mooi hotel op een uitstekende locatie, nog geen 5 minuten lopen van de Lakenhal en Marktplein. bijzonder vriendelijke en prettige ontvangst. De gekozen kamers waren niet groot, maar voorzien van alle gemakken: A/C, goed bed, TV met een keur aan zenders, bureautje en koffiezet gelegenheid, minibar met flesje mineraalwater. Badkamer was prima ingericht, voor mij mag de doucheruimte wel ietsje groter. Kamers worden dagelijks keurig schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, veel locale producten en heerlijk om weer eens zelfgemaakte broodpudding te kunnen eten, a walk down memory lane! De staf is vriendelijk en voorkomend, zeer behulpzaam.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Great location and very nice hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and car parking right behind the hotel, with easy access. 5 minute walk to the main square and Menim Gate. We would stay here again
No A/C in the room, which was very stuffy on arrival. There was a fan provided and the hotel did notify us well in advance. Not a major problem when we stayed, but in the height of summer might be an issue. Car parking was extra, but not secure as it is also a public carpark. Again was not an issue as it was a quiet part of town.

Déçu du supplément payé pour la climatisation lors de l'arrivée, malgré le prix plus élevé que la concurrence (style Novotel). Nous n'avions pas remarqué sur Booking.com que la chambre ne disposait que d'un ventilateur, étonnant en pleine période de forte chaleur, notre chambre était située au 3eme étage dans les combles, avec un seul VELUX donc peu de vue sur l'extérieur.

Location is excellent just a few minutes to the main square and the Meningate. Local beer is served in the bar which was good. Good advise for local places to go and even some discounts for the local museums.
No air con however the owner did say they were getting AC installed soon. There was however a fan in the room.

Vanaf het eerste moment dat we telefonisch contact hebben gehad ivm parkeermogelijkheid tot bij het uitchecken, supervriendelijk personeel die je in de watten leggen. Zeer uitgebreid en verzorgd ontbijt met ook hier geweldig personeel. Kamer tiptop in orde en met airco die perfect was afgesteld.Ook dat de electriciteit bij het verlaten van de kamer zichzelf uitschakeld is ook nog eens ecologisch een prachtig initiatief! De mogelijkheid om beveiligd te parkeren midden in centrum Ieper was trouwens ook een reden voor ons om te boeken. Kortom een geweldige aanrader op alle vlakken!
Kan werkelijk geen minpunt opnoemen.
