The view from the room was great. An the team way very helpfull.
Hotel pulito, essenziale, comodo, in particolare la posizione risulta eccellente per chi deve programmare qualche spostamento in bus
Clean, quaint, remodeled hotel on hill which offers a nice view of Puerto Natales. 5 minute walk to bus station which was very convenient for bus trip to both the Torres del Paine park entrance and Puntas Arenas. Staff was very nice and the breakfast offered lots of healthy options. Only downside was the downtown area is about a 15 minute walk and the dogs around this neighborhood bark all night but I think that is an issue everywhere because the dogs sleep all day on the front yards/porches and bark all night in a lot of a Chilean towns so bring earplugs or play music over night. Also, standard room is quite small in size.
Like many hotels you can only book the "two beds or double bed", so of course you will most likely get whichever one you don't want. Not sure why it has to be this way when other hotels have figured out how to let you book the room you want. It was clean and my wife is picky about that, shower in this room (4) did drain as long as you didn't turn the water up too high. Rooms are small but its decent.
Good hotel close to the bus station. Nice and helpful staff. Recommended!
Peter was fantastic and very helpful. He was always ready to help.
部屋からの景色が最高
This place is beautiful! Clean, minimalist, with fab views. I personally liked the window in the shower too - feels less cramped and you can still get a nice view! It is far from town but a 5 minute walk from the bus station, which, if you have tons of luggage, is actually way more advantageous and cost-saving.
Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel does not have a TV and an elevator so pack light. Wifi was ifffy... but our room has a gorgeous view of the mountains
Nice hotel on the hill which provided a great view over the water. Took us about 20 min. to walk downtown to restaurant area, windy and drizzling.
I had unpleasant experience with this hotel. When we were trying to check out the hotel staff held me asking me to pay for the room. I explained to him that I made payment through Expedia but he insisted payment. As I was rushing to catch my bus, i had no choice but to make payment. They could hardly speak English and was certainly not professional to deal with situation.
Far from centre of town. The reception did not really know how to advise us as we arrived late and wanted dinner at around 10pm. Simple but clean room
Lovely charming hotel. Room was great - very spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice and hot - a little odd that there is a window between the shower and the room. Room was quite hot and a little too warm overnight - you can’t control the temperature yourself so we had to open the window. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Good location for a bus station; a 15-20 minute walk to the town for restaurants etc.
Great View. About 15 minute walk to center of town. The staff was nice. I had to get towels for my room no charge, they were just missing. It was very windy and my bed on the 3 floor moved when the wind gusted. Hotel Temauken is very well made. I checked this out because the hotel is on a hill and I felt it move in the gusty wind. The guy at the desk also tried to tell me it gets worse in Patagonia so we will be ok. My recommendation is to stay on the second floor, it has great view also. There are steps with boards to get to the desk, hard with luggage on wheels. The staff help with the luggage once we got to the desk. Chile hotels have stairs so pack light. The street was quiet at night.
Overall good experience. My only negative would be the size of the room. There was barely any space to put our luggage. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The staff was great and always very friendly! I would recommend staying here.
Temauken Hotel was a great option for our group (3 couples in our 30s). We were traveling to Puerto Natales from Punta Arenas by bus so the location (5-10 min walk from the station, carrying luggage) was the biggest draw for us. But it's also a clean and comfortable hotel, modern design/style though simple, professional and courteous staff, and a nice common area with great views of the town.
Less than 10 min walk to the bus station, very convenient if you need to commute to Torres del Paine every day as all the buses leave between 7--7:30a.m. and come back at 10 p.m.. Keep in mind that the town is a 30-minute walk from end to end, so you will need to book a taxi to the bus station if you live on the other side of the town. Panorama view of the town. 99% of the buildings in Natales only have one story. So this hotel (3 stories) easily stands out (especially by located on a hill). The room is small (two twin beds and not much space left). Shower stall (no bath tub) and the toilet doesn't flush well. No electric water boiler or simple utensils inside the room, nor in the common area. They forgot to replenish our toilet paper for 2 days in a row. Ask the staff for everything else.
Spartan standard room no extras very clean heat adjustable. Good for our needs we were out on excursions each day early & back late. Cheap taxi ride from town and very Claude to bus station would recommend Staff great! Sorry no photos camera & bag stolen in Santiago later
Perfect for what we needed- comfortable bed, warm room, nice buffet breakfast, good wifi and helpful staff. Great restaurant, cangrejo rojo, within walking distance. Other good places in town centre but might be a bit far to walk. Some of the staff's English wasn't as good as others, but hey I don't speak Spanish, and we managed ok. Would have been good to have a fridge to store food for hikes.
It's a bit of a walk to get downtown but after all the walking on this trip it was no biggie to me. We actually got a corner triple instead of 2 twins. The 3rd bed was in a little nook. The far wall was all window with a great view. Even the bathroom has a window to look into the bedroom and out the main window, although this means a creepy companion can spy on you in the bathroom... The lounge area is basically all window with a great view over the city and out to the ocean.
Besides the excellent location (three blocks from the bus station), the view from the rooms is breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The rooms are cozy, spacious, clean, nicely decorated in a modern but local style. I will definitely stay there when I come back to Patagonia!
The hotel is a three story timber building with no in room smoke detectors or visible fire management system .. there is no lift our room had no television .. we were on the second floor and could clearly hear the front door opening and closing .. sleep kept being interrupted by outside guest noise ..booked two nights .. stayed one
Fantastic Hotel! Great Staff... Super helpful. Great Views. Very nice new feel inside with spectacular views from the hillside. Comfy beds. Clean. Nice woodwork and local art. Great lounge and nice bar with cool views. Out of all the places I stayed in Chile enjoyed this one the best. Good match for price and comfort... only drawback was the long walk down the hill to the town center.... but the views more than make up for it. Thumbs up!
we really enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms. Good hotel staff. Great before/after hiking relaxing spot. A bit of a walk from the center but we enjoyed being out of the hustle of the middle of everything.
pleasant hotel. friendly personal. good location. very quiet area. very well recommended
Nice place just down the street from the main drag. Gorgeous views. Nice facilities. Wifi was lame except for in dining room.
The hotel is new and is on a hill, quite removed from town center. Unfortunately, it had no elevator nor parking facility, The rooms were beautiful and the views were stunning. Because of a hip problem I couldn't handle stairs and the manager was kind enough to find another hotel that could acommodate my needs. But if you are young and can handle stairs and walk, this place is a gem.
Beautiful modern hotel, great staff. Only downside is the location is a 10-15 minute walk from anything interesting besides the bus station. The hill it sits on top does provide a nice view of town though.
I chose this hotel for the close proximity to the bus station as we would be taking one early the next morning. The rooms were comfortable, but it would have been nice to have more than a bar of soap and one packet of Head and Shoulders for the shower. The view was beautiful. Staff let us store a few bags while we looked around town waiting for check in time. Breakfast was okay, though I wish they opened 15 or 30 minutes earlier so we didn't have to take something to go.
This is a modern-looking hotel perched on a hill with an excellent view of the water. Our room was well-decorated and we had a comfortable stay. The front desk was helpful with a map and some information for visiting Torres del Paine. The location is a bit out of the downtown area (and thus it is helpful to have a car), but it is certainly possible to walk to the main area. And the hotel is still in a decent location. The only strange aspect of our stay was the design of the bathroom, which has a window between the main room and the shower. The shampoo was also in tiny packets that were quite hard to open.
We were staying at the Temauken Hotel twice in November and December 2015 as part of a trip to go hiking in TDP and El Chalten. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere and felt modern with almost Scandinavian design. The rooms are very nice with light colors, comfortable beds and a nice shower with a small window so you can watch the mountains when you shower. The cleanliness at least for our second stay could have been better as they seemed to not clean under the beds. I don't know how it was the in the first room we stayed in since we only noticed the dust by a coincidence while trying to dry clothes we cleaned in the sink after hiking. The first room's toilet broke twice during our first night at the hotel but was fixed very quickly when mentioned to the reception despite the late hour. Breakfast was nothing special, but with that being said still one of the better we had in Patagonia. It is served in a room with a great view over the lake and mountains on the other side. Even if it's the same view as the one from your room it's still really breathtaking. The main reason for choosing this hotel for us was the proximity to the bus station in Puerto Natales. It's really just a few blocks away and gave us the store clean clothes to wear when returning from hiking in El Chalten. We had a short connection in Puerto Natales on our trip back to Punta Arenas so having our clothes close by was very nice. All in all a very nice hotel.
Lobby with a great sea view, rooms small, staff sleepy. Breakfast quite good.
Clean, comfortable room with decent breakfast. Staff very friendly. Great wifi!!
This hotel is very nice. With incredible views of the entire town of Puerto Natales. And it is literally 2 blocks from the bus station. Great for backpackers.
Great views from up on the hill, a bit removed from the center of town but easily remedied if with a car. Quite windy though which adds to the atmosphere. Breakfast is a little lacking in variety perhaps but was sufficient.
Very nice hotel up high on a hill, overlooking the city of Punta Arenas. Very clean with excellent and friendly personnel and comfortable rooms.
Hotel is located outside the main downtown area of Puerto Natales. As we had a car, distance to the downtown didn't matter. The hotel was clean and modern with a nice design. Rooms had a nice view over the town and harbor. Our primary issue was with the beds; we stayed in a room with twin beds. The beds were tiny and they rolled around on the floor whenever you moved on the bed. Staff was friendly and helpful if you asked, but didn't volunteer assistance.
Service was more than a little lacking. breakfast was a joke. for the price, it did not deliver.
hotel is very cool. modern design and efficient use of space. nice location not far from the bus stops or the downtown area. awesome view of the harbor. breakfast was amazing. staff was super nice and accommodating.
Great view of the city!
Good service
Helpful staff. Clean room. Close to the bus station. About 10 minutes walk to the centre of town
This hotel is not in the center of town, but taxi's in Puerto Natales are cheap. It has a great view of the town and the staff are excellent. If you have time book the horse riding tour it is excellent fun and will be a morning you will never forget.
We had an excellent experience with Temauken Hotel. First, we missed our connection in Santiago to Punta Arenas and had to cancel our first night. The staff did this with no problem. Second, we arrived Puerto Natales later than expected en route to Torres del Paine - the hotel staff stored a bag for us, printed vouchers / tickets for our time in TDP, and routed us to the local grocery, outdoor shop, etc that were open on Sunday morning. The staff made the hotel for us. Other things to note: 1) the hotel is about 10min walk from the central part of town. A bit tough to find at first, but in the end not an issue (plus, just 1000 pesos if you need a cab). 2) the breakfast is adequate, but nothing special. 3) the room is clean and cozy. The view is nice.
New hotel, Nicely decorated, very kind service by stuff who was very helpfull. Poor breakfast
