The location is definitely the best thing about this hotel. There are two metro stations nearby: Oberkampf (Lines 5 and 9), less than 100 meters away, and Filles du Calvaire (Line 8), approximately 300 meters away. There are also plenty of grocery stores within walking distance, including at least one Carrefour Express and two Franprix locations within a 500-meter radius. You’ll find lots of restaurants and places to eat as well. I’d recommend Bouillon République, about 500 meters away, and Boulangerie Pâtisserie Le Petit Mitron, about 200 meters away, for a more traditional Parisian café experience. As for the hotel itself, the room size is fair compared with other options in Paris, while the bathroom is surprisingly good. The hotel is also kept very clean, which is definitely a plus (also a problem).

There were three main issues during our stay. First, when we arrived and checked in, we were informed that the room keys had to be left at the reception whenever we left the hotel. This was quite unusual and inconvenient, as we had never experienced this in other hotels. Second, there was an issue with the housekeeping service. We informed the receptionist that we did not want daily room service and that, if we needed anything changed, such as towels, we would simply ask for it. However, this did not seem to be respected. Even when we left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, staff entered our room every single day (no other problems happened). Finally, the biggest problem was the air conditioning. We understand that Paris is not particularly known for its air-conditioning infrastructure, but the air conditioning in the room was really weak. The lowest temperature we could get was around 21°C, and the hotel also turned off the air conditioning in the rooms in the morning. As a result, on some days we woke up to find that the air conditioning had been turned off. This was especially frustrating because, whenever we went to the reception, the air conditioning there seemed to be working perfectly well.

Das Hotel liegt super, ist gut angebunden und die Gegend ist angenehm ruhig, ohne Touristenmassen. Parken im nahegelegenen Parkhaus klappt problemlos. Es kann im Voraus reserviert werden. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber - rundum empfehlenswert.

The staff is nice, everything seems clean, AC and a gorgeous garden. Location is also nice.

The hotel has some rules which I wasn't expecting at this price point and I wouldn't have booked it if I knew. First, they don't allow external visitors in the rooms, even during the day. Second, you are expected to leave your room key at the reception every time you go out (such a hassle). I've stayed in many budget places during my life and I've encountered similar rules before. But those hotels were a couple tens of euros, not 150 per night.

hotel moderno, a menos de una cuadra del subte, con lo cual te soluciona todos los traslados dentro de París. Muy limpio, buenas vistas a una zona de aspecto muy tradicional parisino. Muy cómodas las camas, muy buena la ducha. Recibieron paquetes de Amazon sin problemas y los dejaron en la habitación.

El aires se apagó la primera noche o tuvo algún problema, porque se empezó a notar el calor y tuvimos que levantarnos a volver a prenderlo. Probablemente haya sido un problema puntual. Pese a que marcamos varias veces la puerta con el cartel de No molestar para que no limpiaran, igualmente entraron a hacer la limpieza (preferimos que limpien cada dos días, pero no es grave).

Todo, habitaciones limpias, grandes, cómodas, el personal muy amable, la ubicación excelente, al lado del metro y a 5 minutos a pie de la plaza de la República, volvería sin duda.

The hotel is in a great central location and we loved the breakfast courtyard. The staff was lovely and very helpful.

Corridors and lift are very narrow

We love the Alhambra’s beautiful garden: a lovely place to have breakfast. The rooms are reasonably comfortable. The neighbourhood is wonderful with excellent restaurants and cafes all around, and three metro stations within easy reach - two of them a minute or two away.

Our room on our last visit (we had stayed there before) was quite cramped. The staff were unfriendly almost to the point of surly: not rude but cold, no warmth at all.

Was made to feel really quite awkward for having a friend over before her late flight even though I had paid good money for the room.

Over €740 kept for a duplicate booking error. Staff kept quiet at check-in. Disgraceful. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel due to a total lack of professional ethics. Due to an oversight on Booking.com, I accidentally made two identical bookings (same name, same dates) and was charged twice. Upon check-in, the staff clearly saw the anomaly of two rooms under my name on their screens. Instead of alerting me—which would have allowed me to fix the mistake—they deliberately kept quiet just to pocket the money, leaving the second room empty without my knowledge. I only discovered the double charge of a whopping €741.96 a week later on my bank statement. Both myself and Booking.com customer service asked for a minimum of commercial flexibility, but the management completely refused, hiding behind contract clauses. Keeping nearly 750 euros by exploiting an obvious human error and staying silent at the guest's arrival is unacceptable speculative behavior. Avoid this place if you value honesty.

The location is very good and close to the city centre. The hotel was clean and tidy, and considering the price, I think it offers good value. The room had air conditioning, which was definitely a big plus as the weather was very hot during our stay. Although it was not particularly powerful, we were still very glad to have it. Parking is possible on the street where the hotel is located if you are lucky enough to find a space. Overall, for the price, it is a practical and affordable option in a convenient location.

The main issue was the size of the room. We were two parents travelling with our two 14-year-old children, and the room was extremely small for four people. There was barely enough space for the beds, and we even struggled to find somewhere to put our suitcases. The air conditioning was not very powerful, although having air conditioning at all was still much appreciated given the hot weather. Parking can also be a little inconvenient. If you are lucky, you can find a space on the street where the hotel is located; otherwise, you may need to park some distance away.

Hotel ordinato e pulito, con reception aperta 24 ore su 24. La camera viene pulita quotidianamente e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni giorno. Ottima la posizione, a pochi metri dalla fermata della metro Oberkampf e a breve distanza da République, comoda per raggiungere facilmente le principali zone di Parigi. Il buffet della colazione è molto vario e offre prodotti di buona qualità. La possibilità di fare colazione in un bellissimo giardino interno è sicuramente un valore aggiunto della struttura.

Non abbiamo riscontrato particolari aspetti negativi durante il soggiorno. Se proprio dovessimo indicare qualcosa, avremmo preferito trovare nei dintorni dell’hotel una maggiore scelta di ristoranti francesi di buona qualità.

Posizione eccellente. Avere la fermata metro sotto l’hotel è un grande vantaggio soprattutto per un viaggio con i bambini. Quartiere tranquillo con supermercato a pochi metri e locali carini. Camere belle, pulite, con aria condizionata, silenziose.

All’arrivo ci hanno chiesto 10 euro per avere la camera qualche ora prima. La colazione non è eccezionale. Inoltre abbiamo chiesto di usurfruire della colazione all’arrivo e ci avevano comunicato un costo di 12 euro per i bambini ma alla fine del soggiorno ci hanno fatto pagare 15 euro anche per i bambini perché non avevamo pagato prima. Peccato che non ci fosse stato spiegato.

La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta (vicino alla stazione della metropolitana). Il quartiere è carino, pieno di bistrot tipici , boulangere caffetterie e un paio di supermercati. Il quartiere marreis è vicino (10/15 Min a piedi) il che permette di muoversi anche a piedi. Eravamo in 4 (2 adulti e 2 bambini) e la stanza assegnata era veramente una quadrupla superior come da prenotazione. Aria condizionata presente e ben funzionante!! Al centro è presente un giardino dove si serve la prima colazione di cui non abbiamo usufruito. In generale consigliatissimo.

Petit déjeuner dans un jardin frais et calme, un bonheur de trouver cette possibilité dans le centre de paris, en cette période de canicule. Chambre très soignée , calme donnant sur ce petit écrin de verdure... et un accueil professionnel et sympathiques.

L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter Paris. Métro à proximité. Nous avons apprécié la cour intérieure, très bien paysagée, pour prendre nos petits-déjeuners, au calme. Rare à Paris. Choix variés au petit- déjeuner. Nous avons stationné notre voiture dans un parking sous-terrain à proximité. Nous recommandons l'hôtel Alhambra.

Thank you for making my stay so comfortable! The location is great, super close to the metro, and the staff are very open, friendly, and professional. The room was on the smaller side, but it was spotless and clean.

It wasn't possible to bring an iron into the room. Whenever you need to iron your clothes, you have to go down to level -1. Also, because the ironing area is located in the restaurant, you can only use it after breakfast from 10:00 AM. This was a bit inconvenient, but on the plus side, the iron itself was great, and Olena from the staff was super friendly and helpful with refilling the water! Thank you so much!

Das Hotel war sehr gut mit der Metro zu erreichen; es hatte einen schönen Garten, wo man gut frühstücken konnte. Das Zimmer hatte Klimaanlage, sehr schön bei 33 Grad.

Die Zimmer, das Bad und der Schrank waren sehr klein, für 5 Tage ausreichend.

The location was great.

The airconditioning was not working properly. You can’t change your own rooms’s temperature, you need to ask the person at the lobby to do it. Also it automatically turned off every night during the heat wave. You need to leave your key to the reception everytime you leave the hotel. We put do not disturb sign and they still tried to enter to clean even when we are inside and saying no. One time we left do not disturb sign on the door and left, they entered still. They do beds but didn’t take out the trash. Weird hotel honestly.

The room was nice, sparten but clean, The Beds were comfortable, The air conditioning was Excellent which helped a lot as it was quite hot during our stay. the room was large enough for the three of us. They have a safe in a closet. Their courtyard garden is lovely but be aware you cant go in it during breakfast service unless you are buying their breakfast, which was broad and plentiful.

They have no coffee/tea service in the room. not even in the lobby, we had to go out for coffee or buy their breakfast. They only have 1 set of paper cups to drink from ( no glasses)and they had to last our whole stay. There were only two chairs for three people. Only one luggage rack for three beds, we had to put luggage on the floor.

Gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (Metro und Bus), schöner grüner Innenhof wo man frühstücken und sich aufhalten konnte. Nettes Küchenpersonal.

Unfassbar dreckig , unfreundliches Personal, schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ausstattung war einfach, Zimmer war für 4 Personen sehr eng (Zimmer mit Doppelbett und Schlaf-Couch), aber dies haben wir in Paris nicht anders erwartet und war für 4 Nächte okay. Allerdings war das Zimmer bei unserer Ankunft um 15 Uhr extrem verdreckt - Staub überall, Dreckhaufen mit Haaren und Müllschnipseln in den Ecken, mehrere getrocknete Dreckflecken auf dem Boden. Das schlimmste war jedoch das Doppelbett - das Laken war fleckig, die Bettdecke mit riesigen, braunen, nicht eindeutig definierbaren Flecken bestückt (s. Fotos, es war ekelerregend). Als ich dies an der Rezeption ansprach und der Mitarbeiter das Zimmer sah reagierte er mit ratlosen Schulterzucken und der Äußerung von Verständnis. Er sagte eine Reinigung zu, sowie einen Wechsel der Wäsche, wobei er hierfür auf einen Kollegen warten müsse. Ein Zimmerwechsel war nicht möglich, da er dazu nicht autorisiert gewesen sei. Wir sind demnach zu einer Stadttour aufgebrochen. Als wir 5 Stunden später zurück kamen, sah das Zimmer leider noch immer genauso aus. Der nun an der Rezeption tätige Kollege wusste nichts von der Verschmutzung und zugesagten Reinigung. Er verwies darauf, dass das Reinigungsteam nicht mehr anwesend sei und händigte mir Bettwäsche aus, damit ich das Bett selbst frisch beziehen konnte. Hinsichtlich der Anfrage nach einem Zimmerwechsel sagte er, das Hotel seie ausgebucht. „Eigenartiger Weise“ waren bei booking.com noch mindestens 2 Zimmer derselben Kategorie für unseren gebuchten Zeitraum verfügbar. Darauf angesprochen verwies auch er auf die nicht vorhandene Autorisierung, rief nach Bitte aber den Manager an. Dieser lehnte einen Zimmerwechsel ab und schob die Flecken auf „Waschmaschinenflecken“. Die Situation war eine reine Unverschämtheit. Da meine Kinder ins Bett mussten, habe ich das Bett also notgedrungen selbst frisch bezogen und wir haben die Nacht in dem verdreckten Zimmer verbracht.

Die Zimmergröße war für ein Stadthotel okay. Die Lage war TOP genau zwischen zwei U-Bahn Stationen, viele preisgünstige Restaurants in der Nähe. Supermärkte in der Nähe. Ein Parkhaus (Interparking Alhambra - République), wenn man es im voraus bucht günstig, ca. 4 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Modernes Bad. Was uns absolut überrascht und begeistert hat war das Frühstück, mit Schinken, Salami, Käse, Lachs, Marmeladen, Obstsalat, Joghurt, Müsli und und und .... wurde sofort wieder aufgefüllt. Der grüne Innenhof war die absolute Wohlfühloase. TOP!!!

Die Kaffeemaschine im Frühstücksraum hat Ihre besten Tage erlebt, da wäre eine Investition sinnvoll. Getränke okay, der Kaffee nicht so :-( Wenig bis keine Ablagen im Bad, zu wenig Haken für Handtücher.

Appena arrivati c erano vari capelli sui letti dei nostri figli , abbiamo chiamato la signora alla reception che si è arrabbiata dicendo che era stato lavato tutto e che un po di capelli non erano un problema. Ha cambiato le lenzuola a un letto e si è rifiutata di cambiarle nell’altro. Dopo quel giorno però non abbiamo più avuto questo problema era sempre tutto a posto.

Voor een Frans hotel zeer goed, uitgebreid ontbijt, ei en spek incluis. Rustgevende en toegankelijke tuin, airco in kamer die net groot genoeg is. Metrostation vlakbij, parking op wandelafstand. Aangename, interessante buurt. Staat bij mij geboekt voor een volgende gelegenheid.

We kregen een dubbele kamer en hadden veel ruimte wat heerlijk was . De tuin was prachtig verzorgd en daar namen we het ontbijt . Hele leuke ervaring zo een groen plekje in de stad .

De buurt viel me tegen . De metro was gelukkig heel dicht bij
