Leuk hotel, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt!

Tolles Hotel! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, das sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet war. Die Betten waren bequem, und besonders positiv: Haustiere sind hier herzlich willkommen – sogar ohne Aufpreis, einfach top! Auch das Parken am hoteleigenen Parkplatz war sehr praktisch und kostenfrei. Zum Abschluss noch das Frühstück: eine gute Auswahl mit frischem Obst, Rührei und allem, was man sich wünscht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Kamer was schoon en bedden prima. Het afstapje naar de badkamer heb je niet in de gaten, dit markeren is belangrijk. Zeker bij ouderen. Douchegordijn niet prettig en niet meer van deze tijd. Ontbijt eenvoudig, maar goed. Miste wel rauwkost, zoals sla, tomaatjes en komkommer. We misten bij inchecken het welkomsgevoel als gast , ook bij het verlaten, allemaal wat onpersoonlijk.

Maar een nacht verbleven ivm een event. Was goed

Dit hotel is een standaard hotel met een standaard goed ontbijt. Kamers zijn sober ingericht maar wel netjes. De parking was volzet , wij vermoeden dat ook niet hotelgasten parkeren op deze parking

Da ich sehr früh abreisen musste fragte ich nach einem Kaffee und einem trocken Brötchen vor der Frühstückszeit, die Dame war sehr unfreundlich und als ich noch nach einem Schluck Milch frage, wurde sie sehr schroff und meinte ich würde sie bei ihrer Arbeit stören und würde nerven, ich hatte ein Frühstück gebucht und beim einchecken gesagt das ich um 7:15 abreisen muss. Das habe ich in dieser Form noch nicht erlebt, sehr ungastlich

hotel situe dans un endroit bucolique batiment bien restauré. Manque un peu de personel et un mini bar necessaire dans la chambre serait mieux que deux bouteille d'eau soumis à la chaleur. Prevoir un nettoage des toiles d'araignées.

Nous étions en voyage d'affaires donc nous n'avons pas été beaucoup présent à l'hôtel. En revanche, l'accueil au restaurant était parfait. La chambre est très agréable.

Superleuk hotel. Tweede keer dat we hier overnachten en weer zeer tevreden. Oude details in de verder moderne kamers. Prachtig uitzicht. Super ontbijtbuffet. Personeel was echt gastvrij. Kregen zelfs kan koffie en heet water mee. De brasserie was ook heel top! Zeer goed eten voor een eerlijke prijs. Paar kleine tips: We vonden zelf de junior suite geen meerwaarde op de gewone kamer tenzij je twee kinderen hebt ivm 2 extra bedden en grote kamer. De gewone kamer was al uitstekend van kwaliteit. Missen wel een koelkastje en een comfortabele stoel. Enkel een bureau met stoel en losse feuteuille. Ruimte genoeg voor extra zitje. Waterkoker zou ook fijn zijn.

La brasserie attenante à l'hôtel est agréable et les employés sympathiques. L'hotel. Rien à dire concernant la propreté. Le lit n'est pas très confortable. Le matelas est dur. Le chauffage de la chambre se fait uniquement via une climatisation qui est bruyante et l'air devient très sec.

Service impeccable

Varmen/aircon virkede ikke. Vinduer var utætte og kunne lukkes ordentligt. Vi sagde til personalet at varme ikke virkede og de prøvede at indstille noget og så tog de hjem. Alt var gammelt og ikke i særlig god stand. Bestemt første og sidste gang.

Erg mooie lokatie in een leuk stadje. Historische plek.

Mooi hotel als je in het oude gedeelte zit .De bediening vriendelijk maar het was niet met de volle zin dat ze werkten . Daar tegen was de bediening en het eten in het restaurant goed .

Allrs ok. Sonntag sollte es auch Frühstück ab 0700h möglich sein. Sonst super Unterkunft

Net hotel, goede bedden, alleen jammer dat onze kamer last van van de herrie die de verwarming maakte, leek net alsof er een plaat te snel werd afgespeeld.

Wonderful stay, pretty town and friendly, helpful staff

Loved my stay at this hotel, very quiet and staff respect your privacy and dont bother you at all unless you need them, which is unlike some other hotels when staff seem to be in your face. Probably will book again and be back to this lovely hotel in a lovely town.

Splendid restored Watermill where corn was crushed and flowered in the old days. So very different from other hotels with a Big plus. Restaurant absolutely in the better class

Ett fantastiskt hotell. Fina materialval genomgående. Perfekt läge med mycket fina rum. Middagen i den intilliggande restaurangen var ecellent. Även frukosten var riklig och bra. Rekommenderar gärna detta till andra.

Big differences between the available rooms, from nice to not recommendable. Breakast O.K., adjourned restaurant good. Check-in times close too early.

Hotel che conosco e frequento da qualche anno ,purtroppo negli ultimi tempi la manutenzione è pressoché inesistente e l’hotel sta decadendo a vista d’occhio,peccato ,la struttura è bella e la posizione anche. Ps alla reception ho lasciato i lavori di riparazione da eseguire nella camera,ho tralasciato le parti comuni e sono avvisati del mio scontento.

Accueil fermeture prévue pour 22h fermé 18h30 et 21h Aucun ménage et rangement le second jour Accueil du matin déplorable..Pas de bonjour ni de sourire...Malgré un bon petit-déjeuner .. Chambre non entretenue... Problème de réservation pour le second jour insoluble Par l'hôtel...

Chambre mal entretenue....et trop bruyante..mal isolée du couloir.... Personnel du matin antipathique..pas de bonjour..ni de sourire malgré un bon petit-déjeuner.. Réception fermée à 18h30 et 21h au lieu des 22h prévus... Aucun rangement..ni ménage le second jour...

Rénovation et transformation du Moulin c'est formidable! Très belle chambre, trois grandes portes-fenêtres qu'on peut ouvrir. - La baignoire, danger d'y glisser. - A cause des travaux, l'accès pour l'hôtel difficile, malgré de très bonnes directives. données avec beaucoup de patience...ce n'était pas évident!.

This hotel is great. Really enjoy staying here every time I'm in the area. The only thing that is disappointing is the breakfast. It wouldn't be too big of an effort to offer better options, such as fresh vegetables or fruit. Overall nice hotel but a big minus for the breakfast and the breakfast service.

Clean hotel. In the heart of Aarschot and near train station

If you are looking to stay somewhere that is different. This hotel has "nailed it". Loved the look and the fact that you can stay in a modern'ish remade old mill. You get the best of old and new. The hotel is a bit far from Brussels and horrible drive into the city so take this into account if you plan on using it as a base into Brussels city. Found the property to be peaceful and retreat from the "hustle and bustle" of a Brussels. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold items, breads, juices and good "bean to cup" coffee. Parking was available and free The room in my opinion was too bare. The focal point are the two huge window looking over the stream that the mill water releases too. It had a desk and TV and wardrobe and two single beds pushed together. I like minimalist but this was just plain spartan. The bathroom did not fit the feel of the hotel. It felt like they remodeled the hotel and rooms and left a 1950s bathroom complete with a bath tub. They should have pulled out the tub and put in a big open walk in shower. The room has concrete floors and this is the same as the hallway, so noise just bounces off all the concrete which doesn't help with the sound proofing. price point. The price point was correct and found the hotel good value for money.

Arrived after 10 at night all closed up. rang door bell and got a reply , was let in and my room key was on the desk at reception. Came down to breakfast in morning not another sole to be seen, not till I went to leave my key on check out did I see another person. Hotel was attractive in a quirky sort of way the room was comfortable and the breakfast selection was OK

No tea making facilities in the room- this is not acceptable

I was just passing through for an evening. This place fitted the bill. Warm, clean, comfortable, welcoming. The room is functional and if you are looking for spacious then its not here! A little gem appears to be the brasserie next door, but I never found the opportunity to eat there. I will next time...

It was just what I needed.. I love history and staying in a working, restored water mill gave it that little extra. The restaurant, same name, same sight... great food and friendly service.

This is the worst hotel ever !! Don't stay here they deserve your business . I phoned ahead before I booked because I was arriving at 23.15 and wanted to confirm someone will be available to let me in . This was confirmed "no problem we are open until late " so I went ahead and booked . When I arrived at 23.05 no one was there , I rang the bell , I rang the number I called before , spoke to 2 different people who didn't believe that no one was there !! Then said they wouldn't be coming to let me in as room was not made up !! WHY SELL ROOMS ON THE INTERNET IF NOT MADE UP AND PREPARED !! ?? WHY AGREE TO BE WAITING WHEN NO INTENTION OF BEING THERE . YOUVE HAD MY MONEY BUT I STILL HAD TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL AT MIDNIGHT AFTER 10 HOUR DRIVE FROM MANCHESTER !!!!

friendly service, clean room, nice "ambiente"

Arrived late around 2130hrs which meant the door no one was at reception so had to use the intercom to get an entry code for the hotel and room. Took a bit of time but all worked out. Room was Spartan but comfortable. The brasserie next door was still open and took orders until 2200hrs. I enjoyed the food I had and the place was quite full which was a good sign. Did t have breakfast so cannot comment. Overall a handy stop off if heading east from Brussels (around 30mins drive from the airport).

This is an renovated mill building. architecture is interesting as well as the display of old mill for grinding wheat. The room is rustic. may cobwebs. It would appear as though spider season was in full bloom. Breakfast was a bit limited but what was available was good. restaurant next door was nice but did not have menus in English.

I was staying here as my son was playing in a football tournament in the nearby villages so I needed somewhere convenient with parking. I'd definitely stay here again. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and had everything in them that I needed. The staff were all friendly and breakfast was plentiful and had a great selection (as did the bar).

Great location for visiting the area. Room was very good but a bit noisy as we were next to the stairs - also a head board would be nice (I know get with the times but I do like my home comforts!!!)

The hotel is quite charming, being in a 16th century water mill. It has a nice little restaurant which seems to be quite popular, and the food was rather good. The Monday night steak frite menu was a bargain. The breakfast buffet was decent, but not exceptional. The room was minimal and had poor lighting. The bathroom was rather spartan with a long narrow shower tub, and small sink area with no place to put things.

The hotel has a very nice atmosphere, the old watermill has been remodelled with style. Large room, very clean and comfortable. Great beds. Friendly and very helpfull hostess. I had to leave early (7.30) and breakfast starts at 8.00. I dont know if its only in the weekends, but its a bit late. But nonetheless, I'll stay here again, thats for sure.

Great small hotel with friendly, helpful staff!

This may be the only hotel choice in the town of Aarschot, but it is wonderful. The setting is a renovated mill that dates back to the 15th century (if not earlier.) The purpose of our visit was to attend a Scala and Kolacny Brothers concert. The brothers happened to be from the town, so it made the experience that much more special. The room was clean and simple and the bathroom was much larger than you'll find in almost any other European hotel. The real gem was the hotel restaurant, which is accessible to the lobby by a walkway that crosses the small river. The food was amazing and the service spectacular. Try the Belgian Waffles.

Disappointed there was no spa tub or sauna that appears on website.it is owned by gym next door.manager kindly gave us a breakfast after we complained
