Cobraron $67000 adicionales por mi mascota, lo que me parece injusto porque no ofrecen ningún tipo de servicio para mascotas. El lugar tiene parqueadero exterior pero advierten qué es inseguro y no se hacen responsables por lo que hay que pagar un parqueadero en otro lugar que queda a 4 cuadras. El desayuno tiene costo adicional, así que sumando costo habitación, recargo mascota, impuesto, otros recargos, desayuno parqueadero es muy costoso. Con lo que pagas ahí consigues un hotel 4 estrellas.

Friendly staff, big room, nice breakfast

Upon arrival, the bottles of shampoo and shower gel were empty. Cold water that did not get fixed, but they said they did. Laundry is way too expensive, and items got misplace and received items were not ours. One day, staff forgot to leave us towels. Due to the hotel water issue, we had to shower in a different room. I wouldn't stay here again.

This is a beautiful small and super clean property with a very friendly and accommodating staff and super fast internet. I will definitely be staying here again.

I did not stay at this property. Upon arrival the security at the locked gate (not hotel type) told me they did not have a reservation for me and in order to stay I would need to pay in cash. Also no parking on premises and they cannot guarantee the cars on the street as their have been a few robberies lately.

Nice hotel=We stayed only for a couple of hours - friendly staff on site. We arrived late from partying and security was able to open door for us.

If you enjoy a nice relaxing quiet location. This is it! Very different style hotel, as no 2 rooms are alike. Each having a nice personality of its own. Staff is very friendly. Security is very alert and observant. Breakfast is spot on perfect! CONS; a little out of date and a few minor maintenance up keep needed. I am only posting so hotel can improve a great gem they have. Suggestions; Request to see rooms and find a great relaxation place.

No elevator. Great location and walkable. At night be aware of surroundings, if possible do it by Taxi.

Another great recommendation from TripAdvisor... Perfectly placed for a couples first visit to Cali, with all local amenities near by. The rooms are perfectly set up, with great local breakfasts and even better value for money. Muchos gracias Casa Santa Monica! 👌🏻😀

My overall stay was excellent, The Casa Santa Monica is a hidden gem, and I plan to stay again when in Cali.

My room was luxurious and relaxing,the A.C came in handy; cleaning staff was the best. Meals were the best and, the staff were really nice and always looked out for me. Beatriz is also a wonderful host. As this trip was my first time outside of the U.S., I definitely felt welcomed to Colombia and felt right at home. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know and I would definitely come back again. Wonderful experience!

I went to Cali for business for two days in two different weeks. Both times I stayed in this hotel. First thing you should know is that the hotel consists of four old family houses in a calm neighbourhood, which gives it a special atmosphere. The front desk is in a house and my room was in another just across the street (very safe), and I got the same room the two times I stayed there. What I liked: the neighbourhood; it’s quite at night, though early in the morning you listen the sound of cars from a close main way; there are trees and a green area close to the houses, and you are in the north of the city, walking distance to Avenida 9, where you can find bars and restaurants, and a vivid night life. My room (103) was big and comfortable; the mattress a little hard for me, but ok; the restaurant is in the same house, so you just drop off your bed and are in the restaurant taking your breakfast. The people: they were very kind all the time and solved my few necessities in time. What I didn’t like: as my room had a window next to the balcony of the room next door, when there was people in the balcony you could hear every single word and sound there was; especially uncomfortable at night, but at least it wasn’t for a long time. And as my room was in the same house as the restaurant, one of the mornings I was woke up by a group of people having breakfast at 7:00 a.m.; I know this is not fault of the hotel but depends on the guests, but was not nice because all the chatting and laughing in loud voice (the same people on the balcony). What can be improved: the restaurant; it’s OK for breakfast but if you would like to have lunch or dinner, the options are very poor. But, again, you are close to Avenida 9 and there you can find a good variety of places to drink and eat. I would recommend this place if you want a more familiar place than a traditional hotel.

First off let me say say the staff was absolutely excellent. Very helpful in every aspect of our stay. I miss the excellent breakfast on the balcony with the Juan Valdez Coffee. The room was of good size, clean and well lighted. Shower was wonderful with plenty of hot water. the beds were very comfortable and CLEAN! Call for room service and in less than 5 minutes you have wonderful fruits or food delivered to you with a friendly smile! Parking is inside, through a gated wall, it was secure and always had someone handy to let you out day or night. We stayed in the hotel for 8 days, that is in Pance, south of Cali. They have two hotels and I am sure they are both excellent. Property in Pance is gorgeous, no other word for it. Well groomed, lots of trees and beautiful red squirrels.We will definitely stay her next trip to Cali. Highly Recommended. Gregg & Luz Mesa, Arizona

Excellent friendly staff very attentive room service expetimally great clean rooms

I was at Casa Santa Monica for a week long workshop. Both our accomodation and workshop were held there and I wish to praise the care and attention devoted to our group. Everything was outstanding. My only warning would be that if you are a ligth sleeper the rooms by the front desk, which are accesible for people with disabilities (wonderful on the hotel's behalf) can be noisy given that guests are constantly coming and going and requesting services from the front desk. I was OK staying there, but must say the hotel was more than ready to give me a different room if it became unbearable. Do stay in their thematic rooms, they are gorgeous!

The hotel is nice enough but it's the staff is really annoying. Not only did they make me pay my bill in the middle of my stay but they also overcharged me and instead of returning my money made me buy something else from the hotel. The menu really sucks but the food is pretty tasty. Tell is really beautiful and the rooms are nice enough. My room was really nice the problem was at the bathroom didn't have a door which was really uncomfortable but overall it was an OK experience

When i return to Cali, i return to Casa Santa Monica because it is such a pleasant place. Eggs and fruit and pan de bono for the free breakfast. Kind staff. Each of the 3 houses is different -- the one where breakfast is served has a sitting room with gadgets like an old cash register, and a little patio with labeled plants. There is a watchman/porter outside at all times, and the street has barely any traffic.

I spent a wonderful 9 days calling Casa Santa Monica home. I was in Cali for work and was so pleased to come back to the hotel nightly. The staff were always pleasant, always helpful, and smiled at me whenever I was outside my room! There is a beautiful courtyard to sit in and a lovely common area near the front desk. The breakfasts are exceptional and the homemade pasta I ordered for delivery was fantastic. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wishes a relaxing and peaceful stay in Cali. This hotel is a little complex of three different houses in the same block, with 23 rooms total, cross a little forrest in a very peacefull area in the middle of the city, ten minutes away from the biggest mall "Chipichape" and 10 minutes walking from the fashionable area "Granada". With little details on decoration, and an enviromental management, it is an unique style. I recommend to book in advance... there are only 23 rooms

I stayed at this place for one week in late December 2010, and while the facilities are not that bad there is a lot to be desired for the price paid ( about 75,00 USD per night ), here are the main issues I encountered: 1.- Do not try to either call the front desk or have people call you at the hotel as this people never answer the phones, day or night, my family tried to reach me at the hotel several times to no avail. 2.- While I consider a good thing being eviromentally friendly, this place goes way to far, the lighting in the rooms is so poor that I had to go to the lobby in order to read or dial my cell phone, my room hads 2 bed lights and a very samall desk light, all together the wattage of the lights was not even 75 W, no ceiling lights. 3.- Rooms are way too small compared to itraditional international standards, even Tokyo hotel rooms are larger that these. 3.- There are several doors to reach the bathroom, a bar style double swinging door to access the lavatory, and a huge door to access the toilet, I find this way to cumbersome as the entire bathroom area is no more than 15 feet at the most. 4.- Cable service was out the entire Christmas weekend, I was told by the staff that the cable company does not work on weekends, and there was nothing they can do. 5.- There are no electrical outlets near the bed, in order to plug my laptop I had to ask the front desk for an extension cord and I was given one that was so filthy that I was afraid to catch something if I touched it. The phone cord was also very short, can hardly move the phone from the night table. 6- Hot water, it was great and had good pressure, but after 5 minutes in the shower I would run out of it and had to finish showering with freezing water. 7.- No trash can in the bathroom, yI had to open the toilet door in order to dispose of items no longer needed. Overall not the best experience I've had in a hotel, for 20 Dollars more I could have stayed at the Sheraton.
