Hotellrommene var rene, gode senger. Frokosten veldig bra. Beliggenheten ypperlig til turer enten m sykkel eller til fots. Spa avdelingen komfortabel.

Fine omgivelser og fint rom. God frokost. Pluss med gratis parkering

Manglet kjøleskap på rommet. Syntes inngang til bassenget burde vært gratis. Ganske dyrt selv med halv pris. Seneste inngang med barn var kl 16, og innsjekk var også kl 16… bassenget burde også vært tilgjengelig for barnefamilier på morgen. Man betaler mye for å egentlig ikke få badet. Når man betaler nesten 2000kr for rommet og hotellet ligger såpass langt unna alt bør man kunne tilby mat senere enn kl 20.

Gustav provided us wonderful service. That man deserves on higher payment! Great location standard and food. Parking in a garage available. Cleanliness was brilliant. Close to pathways to Trysilflejjet.

I should have book longer stay!

Rene, fine rom. Hyggelig betjening, god frokost. Moderne, stilfullt hotell. God atmosfære.

Ingenting å sette fingeren på.

Bra frokost. Spa anlegget var flott. Perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til turer på fjellet. Restauranten var godkjent. Beef-burgeren var trist, men kylling-salaten var innertier. Bra utvalg av øl, blant annet lokalt øl.

Varmt på rommet. Vinduer sto åpne og ingen varme på. Ute var det rundt 15 grader sommerstid, likevel var rommet for varmt.

Høy ekstra kostnad ved bruk av basseng. Kunne da kun benytte bassenget i en tidsbegrenset periode. Liten og stusselig frokost med lite utvalg. Lang ventetid for å bli sjekket inn til frokost. Måtte vente på betjening for å bli krysset av på liste til frokost. Betjeningen var mer opptatt av å rydde og vaske, enn å ta i mot gjester. Vi kommer ikke til å overnatte her igjen. Det var alt for varmt på rommet, og ingen tilgang til vifte eller aircondition. Vi fikk rom, med utsikt til parkeringsplass. Overnattingen var ikke verd prisen.

Ontbijt en uitstraling gebouw

Zeer warme benauwde kamer zonder koude ventilatie. Na boeking nieuwe aandachtspunten (tol, in-uitchecken en parkeren online) die niet vermeld waren op de site van Booking.com! Gelukkig reageerde de receptie via de mail, maar konden niet vertellen of de tol via Epass24 geregeld wordt.

Das Hotel hat eine erstklassige Lage für Skifahrer. Alles ist direkt ins Hotel integriert: ein Skiverleih, ein klasse Skikeller mit persönlichen, abschließbaren Skischränken und auch noch ein Sportshop. Drei Schritte aus dem Skikeller heraus und schon ist man auf der Piste. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Zusammenfassend: für norwegische Verhältnisse ist es ein gutes Hotel in erstklassiger Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien oder Leute ohne jegliche Geldsorgen. ABER: für den hochpreisigen Aufenthalt erwarte ich einen Spa-Bereich der kostenfrei ist, 75 NOK/Person sind zu viel.

Location and loved that that it was a ski in /out and the lockers were in the hotel. Space to keep clothes was very good No fridge or safe which I thought was strange . Needs to have some kind of grocery store as it's quite remote especially on very snowy days and you're a bit trapped . Kids wanted a snack and didn't necessarily want the pizza / buffet restaurant .

Didn't like that we paid a lot for the hotel and then had to pay to use the pool.

Väldigt dyrt. Biljard borde tex ingå för det priset. De hade inte bäddat ut bäddsoffan åt oss och jag fick hämta lakan och bädda själv. Vår tv tappade cromecasten hela tiden, såååå frustrerande när vi försökte se på film. De sa att någon skulle komma under kvällen och fixa, men ingen kom. Kaffet tog slut på rummet, fick hämta nytt själva. Vårat rum var vääääldigt varmt pga solen, borde varit mer solskydd. Priserna på mat var skrattretande och det gick ju inte att äta på restaurangerna tyvärr. Det kom som en chock. Trodde att ett hotell som utger sig för att vara ett barnvänligt hotell även skulle erbjuda mat för barnfamiljer. Om ni priserna måste vara så hutlöst höga borde det finnas Micro på rummet så att man kan köpa med färdiga rätter. Hissen gnisslade.

Bra frukost med mycket att välja på.

Gymmet skulle behöva fräschas upp. Ena löpbandet trasigt, exakt samma fel som förra julen, bättre ventilation är önskvärt, fruktansvärt varmt därinne.

Fikk ikke panoramarom som vi betalte for hos dere i Booking. Om det er dere som har solgt noe dere ikke burde eller hotellet som ikke leverte det de solgte, vet ikke vi. Men vi fikk ikke det vi betalte for. Da blir man skeptisk til å bruke Booking videre.

Personeel was behulpzaam maar je moest er wel naar vragen. Skilocker van ons appartement was op een andere plek dan de meeste skilockers. Dit is wel handig om op geattendeerd te worden. Scheelt een hele speurtocht.

Rent og ordentlig. Veldig godt koordinert.

I liked the spa.

I was one out of 3 guests in total, but was disappointed that the restaurants were closed (aside from one burger type place), and also the there were no breakfast buffet. Although you could choose from 3 alternatives, and the chef was a really nice guy, I felt it lacking. For breakfast I asked for some mayonnaise, but they said they did not have any. I thought mayo is regarded as a staple, but apparently not so. I did get some mayo for my burger at dinner, and they charged 35,- extra for that of course. Ketchup was free! Also no fresh juice, but some old fruit laying around in a basket. Since the place was semi-closed down, I could not get a fresh cup of coffee other than from the consentrat-machine at breakfast. Further, it's a place which is operated by a robot i think. In the spa for example, where I was by myself, the hot tub would start every 5 minute and make a lot of noise, as everything is automated. It was a bit funny to watch and imagine that an algorithm was basically running the place. I jumped the first few times, trying to relax reading a book. I tried to bring cup of tea into the spa, but was not allowed. I guess I look young so they felt they needed to treat me as a child. I also asked for a robe, but that was 100,- nok extra of course (the spa is also not included). Being the only guest at the hotel I was allowed to stay at the SPA for more than 1 1/2 hours which is the normal limit. I guess I should be grateful, but it felt a bit unnecessary to let me know this, being basically the only guest it should have been easy to make me feel a bit special. Room: the light in the hallway did not work, and the chromecast was not possible to connect to. There's loud music everywhere; in the SPA; at breakfast, and in the reading area. The placed is rigged for 1000 skiing guest, and not for a person trying to have a relaxing quiet few days. The staff did turn down the music when asked, but it feels tiresome to have to request stuff all the time,

Vi ble oppriktig skuffet over frokosten da vi så for oss en typisk hotell buffet frokost. Dette var altså ikke tilfellet. Brødskivene var tørre, osten var svett og agurken var delvis inntørket. Savnet å kunne velge hva jeg vil spise selv. Varmrettmenyen sto ikke til vår forventning ved et hotell besøk.

Det kiksede med booking af ekstra overnatning, jeg var lovet at det var i orden, men da jeg ringede dagen efter viste det sig at receptionisten havde booket i et forkert navn!!!!

As an overall review of the hotel and ski area: Pros: - Overall an enjoyable holiday, spending time with family. - Polite staff at the hotel. - Clean and adequate accomodation, on par with other ski resorts. - Good facilities (but will come back to that). - Great ski location for beginners. Some nice easy runs to get started! Cons: - As a ski area (appreciate not hotel related), the lift infrastructure is very much in need of an update; very old chair lifts and predominantly button lifts, some which are very steep. However, the cost of the lift pass is on par with a resort like Cervinia (Italy's flagship ski resort). - The hotel has all of the ingredients to make it great, however, it let's itself down, reasons below: 1) You have to book everything. It removes any element of spontaneity and in some cases, e.g spa, book well in advance, and by this I mean before you even arrive! If you don't, you can't get in. 2) You have to pay for the spa/pool. For a hotel such as this, I would expect not to have to pay for a session, but you do and it's not particularly cheap (when you can make a booking). 3) You have to pay for a ski locker?! Never seen this before. 4) The hotel often feels short staffed. We waited every evening at the bar in the lounge for someone to turn up to serve. 5) The hotel is quite isolated. There are no other real options for evening restaurants if you don't have a car, so you are quite restricted. In a nutshell, great holiday, but the Ski Star Lodge feels very commericalised. More about profitability / paying for everything than customer experience and thus there is room for improvement. It's a shame as it could be amazing, instead it is mediocre.

When cleaning came, we said that they should come later, but they never dig, even after speaking to reception about this.

We had such a lovely stay, the hotel is very relaxed and friendly, the staff were all wonderful. The ski lifts are just outside, and there is a ski rental shop at the hotel, too, where the staff were also really helpful and friendly. The atmosphere of the whole place is very understated and relaxing. We'd love to come back!

Breakfast was excellent, great choice of things. I didn't miss anything. The pizzas in Luca's were good.

Hotel was modern and clean , Italian restaurant was absolutely fantastic. however rooms needed more storage to hang clothes and in bathroom as ski gear does get wet.

Important to know that the road to the ski-area is a Toll-road. Costing 60 NOK every time you drive up.

Excellent breakfast buffet - lots of choice and great quality. Loved the spa and pool facilities. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Ski hire was efficient and the hotel was in a great location right next to the ski slopes.

The spa was excellent. We stayed right at the end of the season and the ski resort was super quiet. Great snow and almost empty slopes. The ski in ski out at the hotel was great and the ski facilities such as lockers were brilliant. The hire shop at the hotel was very handy and easy to use. Staff were friendly. Parking was very good with indoor secure parking. We stayed for 2 separate weekends and so had a different room each time. Both were nice but the second one was a superior room with Mountain View and that was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Good variety of food in the buffet and always able to get seated, even though very busy in the mornings. Friendly hotel staff and a lovely spa and bar for after skiing. Views from the hotel balcony were lovely and mountain location for ski in and out was great, plus lockers for equipment and underground car parking,

Unfortunately one of the hotel rooms we were allocated was directly above a late night bar, which meant we were very disturbed by loud music all afternoon and evening. Really spoilt what was otherwise a great hotel in a good location and frustrating as we were staying with a young family who had to be up early for ski school!

THe hotel has really good spa facilities and the family rooms was of a very good size with 3 bedrooms.

We had a great week here staying in an apartment. So convenient for the ski slopes - everything actually was really easy to access. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially the staff in the ski shop my son has very "funny" feet but they managed to sort him out with some boots. The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed it so much especially the outdoor hot tub. We had a car so were able to get to the supermarket - some things were expensive but most items were quite reasonable not much more that in France or the UK!! We bought some duty free and drank that Alcohol is Expensive so stock up on the way over if you like a drink. Enough here to do for a week - we stopped off at the Mountain King Husky Sledding on the way back which was fantastic. We would definitely come back here

The breakfast was great and we had a lot of choice. The hotel is well situated, ski-in, ski-out.

The Kulpen Spa wasn‘t what we expected. You have to wear bathing suits and there is no relaxing room.

All the facilities where fantastic hotel staff couldn't do enough and location was so beautiful and very excellent access to the slopes definitely would visit again.

The ledge around the edge of path to enter all of the access points to the hotel need to be address as it is very icey and slippery once on path its fine once on piste fine just the snow ledge .

Very nice and helpful staff. Great location close to the slopes. Breakfast had everything you need. A big plus was the warm garage which was included.
