I picked Ayada Maldives based on its TripAdvisor reviews, and I didn't regret it for a second. This is a genuine five-star resort that lives up to every bit of the hype. The house reef is the star of the show. It's in pristine, perfect condition, and you can swim straight from your villa out to the reef drop-off with ease — no long boat rides required. Once you're there, you're greeted by an incredible variety of coral and fish, right on your doorstep. The dive center team deserves special mention too: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. We joined one of their aquarium snorkel tours, and it was worth every single penny — don't miss it. The rooms are beautiful and lovely, and the housekeeping team did a wonderful job keeping everything spotless each day while happily accommodating every request we made. On dining — there aren't a huge number of restaurant options, but the variety of food is excellent and they shift the theme slightly every day, so it never felt repetitive. I also have to give real credit to the general manager, Simon Quarrell, who keeps the resort in absolutely perfect shape. Honestly, I've never seen a hotel GM show up every single day, in a different restaurant each time, just to talk to guests. That level of hands-on care sets the tone for the whole place. One practical tip: the resort is quite far from Malé (MLE) airport, so you'll likely need to spend your first night at a hotel near the airport before continuing on. Well worth planning for — and well worth the trip. Highly recommended, and a resort I'd happily return to.

I thought the butler was very attentive to the products, the food in the restaurant was very good, especially the massage service recommended by the butler, which was really good. We are currently staying on the island and would like to share some of our thoughts. First of all, the arrival was completely stress-free. We did not have to worry about the transfer, as the staff helped us with everything. We are staying in an Ocean Villa with a pool, and it is wonderful. It is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Housekeeping comes twice a day, and everything is always taken care of perfectly. This is also a great place for anyone with a sweet tooth — just like us! There are plenty of delicious snacks, the minibar is fully restocked every evening, and we also receive lovely sweet treats before bedtime. It is such a nice touch. Every guest has a personal butler. Ours is Zee, and he is truly a master at what he does. He often anticipates our needs before we even mention them. He arranges everything very quickly and is always flexible and accommodating. Moreover, he is extremely kind and friendly. The food, restaurants and bars are fantastic. The food is of a very high quality. For example, at breakfast, the eggs are not prepared in advance — they are cooked fresh and exactly the way we like them. The staff always ask about our preferences. One of us is vegetarian, and the staff always keep this in mind. They regularly ask about dietary preferences and offer specially prepared options, which is quite exceptional. We must particularly highlight the staff. Every single person we have met has been fantastic. At every step, we feel genuinely cared for. The service staff and bartenders — including the wonderful people from Sri Lanka, India and the Philippines — are dedicated, diligent, friendly and always smiling. We are sorry that we cannot remember everyone’s name, but all of you are wonderful! It is a pleasure to spend our holiday surrounded by people like this. Of course, nobody asked us to write a recommendation. The staff are not friendly because they expect something in return — they are friendly simply because they are genuinely wonderful people. The spa area feels like paradise. The treatments leave us completely relaxed and refreshed. The sports facilities and activities are also very well organised. The guy responsible for them does an excellent job, and there are plenty of things to do. We certainly have not been bored. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, our sunset view water suite was absolutely stunning. We had Zeeshan as our butler who was amazing throughout, he was always on hand for everything and also took some amazing pics for us, really made sure we had the perfect stay. We went for the diamond package which was great value, with so many different food options, the food was always delicious and we especially enjoyed teppenyaki and the sea salt bbq so would recommend for anyone visiting!! The island itself is beautiful, great atmosphere and all staff very friendly and easy to talk to!! special mentions to Ali and Rasih for great service and conversations! We had a wonderful few days at Ayada and overall really enjoyed the experience. The island itself is gorgeous – lush, well-kept, and not overly crowded. Our villa was spacious, clean, and nicely designed, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything tidy (and the turndown service was a nice touch). Food across the restaurants was solid, especially the Turkish grill and the beach bar vibe at night. Staff throughout were friendly and attentive without being over-the-top. A special shoutout to our butler Nuttu​ – he was genuinely great. Responsive on WhatsApp, remembered little things we mentioned, and sorted out dinner reservations and excursions without any fuss. Made the stay feel personal. The one thing that rubbed us the wrong way: no free bicycles. Pretty much every other Maldivian resort we've stayed at includes them, so paying $10/day​ here felt a bit petty for a property at this price point – especially when the island isn't tiny and you're biking back and forth multiple times a day. Not a dealbreaker, but an unnecessary annoyance. Would we come back? Probably yes – Nattu alone makes a difference – but hope they reconsider the bike policy.

Just got back from our honeymoon in the Maldives, and we were drawn to Ayada due to the food and wide range of water activities over their incredible house reef. We wanted a step away from all the wedding planning, to be taken care of. We certainly felt that way as soon as we arrived. We were warmly welcomed by our butler John, who I must commend for elevating our stay. He immediately set up a WhatsApp chat for us, which we used to book activities, make reservations at restaurants, and request for buggy services around the island. We were never left waiting for more than 5 minutes for a request - John was extremely prompt and helpful, which took much of the day-to-day planning off our minds. All that was left was for us to soak in the amazing ocean sunset view from our pristine villa, unwind at spas, and enjoy the delicious food. I would recommend anyone looking for an intimate, stress-free and fun tropical escape to visit Ayada Maldives!

My husband and I just got married and was thinking where we could go to unwind after months of intensive wedding planning and preparations. We’re incredibly thankful that we decided to come to beautiful Maldives and more importantly - Ayada! :) From the moment we landed at the airport, we were immediately greeted by the staff and had everything settled for us. And when we reached the resort: we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful, quiet, clean, and peaceful it was :”) Throughout our 5 day stay - we had the most amazing food (maldivian tuna is awesome!!!); fun and lovely activities like private cooking classes, massages (the best i’ve ever had so far to be honest); water sports like jet skiing, banana boat, dolphin sighting and snorkelling; fantastic sights and views; the best sleep ever because of how comfortable the bed and room was; and the key highlight - the wonderful service. Started there with a very warm welcome at Airport by Ayada ambassador. As well on the island itself, we felt welcome by heart. Affan, our butler, picked us up with a buggy to the Sunset Ocean Suite. Afterward a quick island tour for important places like Restaurants, SPA and Dicve center. Affan did serve us very well and professional in any kind of questions. Amazing property. We had the crystal package and had fabulous cocktails every night. We went for the surf, but surf gods did not play along, however we it didn’t matter. The island is stunning, snorkeling off the over water villas exceptional. Food devine. Paradise. Massive call out to the staff and mgmt, the staff were amazing. Many we spoke to had been there 8-10 years, they loved their jobs and how well they were looked after. Always feels great to support a business who supports their team. Fab stay - we’ll likely be back.

Quant aux personnels juste fabuleux au niveau de l’accueil et la prise en charge dès l’aéroport puis tout au long du séjour était juste fabuleux ! Amazing place! There is a special package for BBQ, SPA , Snorkeling and floating breakfast. Zeeshan butler is really nice and warm person.

Our trip to Ayada Maldives was absolutely perfect! The rooms exceeded our expectations in every way—both the beach villa and water villa were incredibly spacious and luxurious, with an amazing blend of Middle Eastern and tropical design styles. The high ceilings, wooden flooring, and delicate decorations were all exquisite. Each room came with a private pool, a huge balcony, and an ocean-view bathtub, and the outdoor shower was incredibly atmospheric with complete privacy. Housekeeping was also very thoughtful, tidying the room twice a day and keeping it clean and cozy. A special shout-out to our butler Ava! She was extremely responsible and responsive throughout our stay, always ready to help. As soon as we arrived, she helped us arrange all our schedules, including restaurant reservations, sea activities, and transfers. She was careful and attentive, always looking after our needs and solving any small issues right away. We were so well taken care of that the whole vacation experience was simply flawless. Ayada Maldives is definitely worth a second visit!

Starting with the obvious the island is stunning, picture perfect postcard views but beautiful places aren’t that rare in the Maldives. What made this stay stand out was the service and staff. We had meals at Magu and Zero Degrees quite a bit, partly because they were included but also because the staff there just got it. At Magu, there were two sisters (I wish I remembered their names) who were consistently warm without being overbearing and seemed genuinely happy to see us each time and at Zero Degrees Fitri and Ali really looked after us. Travelling with a newborn comes with its own logistics, especially around feeding, and they handled everything with a level of understanding that you don’t often see. We were never made to feel awkward, they just accommodated what we needed. This made a bigger difference than I think they realise. Shaan at Ocean Breeze deserves a mention as well, he had good energy and made us laugh. All these interactions stack up over a few days. Another special shout out to the staff who put together a Maldivian spread for us to try local food. A nice reminder of where you actually are. And most importantly the person who shaped the entire experience was our concierge, Affan. From the moment we arrived he helped to ensure everything went smoothly. He was always around when needed, but never in a way that felt intrusive. It’s a difficult balance and he got it spot on. Affan took care of so many of the small things..organising movements around the island, giving genuinely useful advice on what activities made sense and even just stepping in to entertain the little one for a few minutes so we could eat properly or breathe. At one point he was taking photos for us, then the next minute helping us figure out timings for dinner, then casually checking in later without making it feel like a checklist. It all just felt thoughtful. All of this to say a big part of the holiday being that extra special comes down to the people. Would we go back? Yes! largely because of them.

Our honeymoon here was truly an exceptional choice. Our butler, John, was not only delightfully humorous but also provided impeccable and attentive service throughout our stay, making the experience all the more memorable. I would highly recommend John for his outstanding care. Every member of the staff was gracious and professional, and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect resort in the Maldives.

Ayada is a true paradise and so incredibly worth the time it took us to get there from Minnesota/the USA (4 plane rides & a boat)! The service is second to none and a caliber above any other 5 star resort, starting with the Ayada Booking Agent Rebecca, the gentleman assisting us through the airport, our butler Zeeshan (thank you so much for the incredible treatment!), the chefs (Tulsi, Jimmy, Felix, Wayoo) & the servers (Mai, Inaani, Diaz, Jace), & everyone else on the Ayada team. We stayed in both a beach bungalow and overwater; they were fantastic. Definitely a shout out too to the individual who cleaned our room and put the bed decorations together. The spa treatment were out if this world. The snorkeling & scuba dives were great, and the views were breathtaking. This was our second trip to the island and just may not be our last!

My first trip to the Maldives couldn’t have started better — I’m so glad I chose Ayada Maldives. The island is absolutely beautiful, with lush nature and a spacious layout that makes it feel both private and peaceful. The villas are elegant and cozy — I stayed first in a beach villa with a stunning sunrise view, and later in a larger villa facing the sunset. Both were прекрасні, though I personally preferred the second one. The food exceeded my expectations — there is a great variety, with different international cuisines featured daily, so it never feels repetitive and everyone can find something they love. The spa experience was truly exceptional. The atmosphere, treatments, and massages help you completely switch off — you literally feel like your mind becomes lighter and calmer. I also highly recommend trying yoga and meditation sessions — they added a lot to my sense of relaxation. While there are many activities available, what I appreciated most is how calm and quiet the island feels. It’s the perfect place to reset, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. But what really made my stay unforgettable was the level of service — and especially my butler, John. He went above and beyond in every possible way: organizing all my reservations, responding instantly to any request, and making sure every detail of my stay was seamless and comfortable. His attention, care, and genuine warmth truly elevated my entire experience. The whole team at the resort is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a feeling of being truly welcomed and cared for. It’s also a nice touch that there are boutiques on the island — very convenient if you need anything during your stay. Overall, this was a beautiful and deeply relaxing experience, and I would absolutely recommend this resort — especially if you value exceptional service.

We had an amazing experience at Ayada Resort Maldives! Our Butler, Mihad, answered all of our questions day or night and went out of his way to make everything perfect. The resort photographer, Raaif, did an outstanding job taking photos and drone videos. Our guides for the equator crossing excursion, Natta and Misbaah, were incredible. They took amazing videos and photos while snorkeling and while crossing the equator. When we had our picnic, they made us a boat and drinks out of coconuts! The restaurant and housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. The managers and head chefs went out of their way to check on us every day. The entertainment staff who performed the light show and fire shows were very talented. We even got to see a coconut tree climber climb a tree to retrieve coconuts that he opened for us to drink. The lady who worked at the resort store went out of her way to help us find the perfect gifts to take home. As you can see everyone here at Ayada went out of their way to make our vacation one to remember. We highly recommend Ayada Resort for a beautiful paradise experience.
