Golden Crown China Hotel

The location of this hotel makes it easier to go to nearby tourist attractions. Since the hotel is connected to the airport, I don’t have to worry about getting late for my flight. The room is spacious and spotless, which makes it 100x better to rest and nap. A good and comfortable bed is what we all need after a long day. The hotel also offers free luggage storage. I checked out at 12 NN and since my flight is at 8 PM I decided to leave my luggage and go to the nearby tourist attraction without worrying where to put my luggage while I’m out. I would definitely recommend and I will surely stay at this hotel when I’m back in Macau.

I arrived in Macau just before midnight, and checked out the next morning for a connecting flight. The hotel review on TA was researched before I chose it. Facilities are slightly dated but well maintained and refreshed. Hot water bath was acceptable. The bed and pillows were firm and comfortable. I did not opt for breakfast at the hotel as there were many F&B choices inside the terminal building. I had requested for high floors, away from lift and stairs. My sleep was fantastic. Although my room faced the airport apron, control tower and runway, any noise was well buffeted.

由於是次旅遊來回均利用氹仔碼頭，該酒店與碼頭只是一個輕軌站之隔，交通便利。 服務員不論是在接待處、行李寄存處、房務部及餐廳均非常有禮並有效率。 酒店並非最新式豪華現代化的那種，但是房間設施齊全，性價比高！

I am just over half way through my 3 weeks quarantine stay at this hotel. I read the previous reviews about staying here for a quarantine stay and didn't agree with them, so thought I would write a quick review! The rooms are a little dated, but for quarantine it was much more important for me to have a large room and it is certainly that, it makes all the difference when you are shut in 1 room for 3 weeks. The shower is excellent and really powerful, which always invigorates me. I think the staff here are very good, every time I have rung down for extra towels or water etc. the housekeeping have been very courteous and it has always arrived quickly. I must also praise Candy, the front desk manager, who I have spoken to a number of times and had always been extremely helpful. I asked through her for a more western menu and the hotel have delivered. Obviously it is no fun being shut in here for 3 weeks, but the hotel have certainly made it more bearable!

I got stuck here in quarantine and it's exceeded my worst expectations, congratulations. The rooms are depressingly dated and there is a musty, mouldy smell throughout the property. Even though this is Macau, it seems this place is run and staffed entirely by mainlanders with an attitude that matches the dour decor of this place. The Wifi is unusable, the aircon only has two settings: too cold or off. Other than convenient location near the airport this place has no redeeming features.

새벽 1시에 마카오에 도착해서 체크인했어요 혼자 여행이라면 공항에서 노숙했을텐데 가족여행이라 반나절밖에 못있지만 가격이 착해서 예약을 했었는데 정말 큰 만족이네요!!! 깨끗하고 조용하고 뷰가 너무 신기했어요~ 바로 앞이 공항이라 비행기 뜨고 내리는게 다 보이거든요^^ 그것 보는것도 쏠쏠한 재미이고 조식 먹었는데 밥도 맛있었어요 종류가 많은건 아니였지만 죽도 있고, 토스트에 볶은밥이랑 춘권, 베이컨 골고루 잘 챙겨 먹었네요 집에서도 아침은 안 먹는데 오랜만에 호텔 조식으로 즐거운 아침식사였어요^^ 직원분들도 친절하시고 너무 좋은거 있죠~ 담에 마카오에 새벽 비행기로 도착한다면 노숙 하시지 마시고 가격도 착한 이 호텔에 묵으세요^^

立地がとても良いです^_^ 空港2階:出発ロビーを出て真っ正面にあります。 深夜にチェックインしたのですが、ロビーの場所がわかりにくく、混乱しました。ロビーは別の階なので、宿泊される方は事前に調べておいた方が良いと思います！ WiFiが繋がりにくいのが不便でした。 しかし、立地を考えると、お値段としてはお得だと思います！

航空機の乗り継ぎでマカオに宿泊する際は、最高の立地、 空港からはバス、タクシー、それに昨年末に開通したLRT（「ゆりかもめ」と同等で、車両を含む主要設備は日本製）で、マカオ市内への公共交通も至便。 ホテルより空港に戻り、レストランやコンビニ等の施設も簡単に利用できるが、深夜は全て閉店の為、自販機で飲み物とスナックを購入した（マカオ独自の交通系ICカードのMacau Passにて支払い） 当日は宿泊客が少なかったせいか、無料の朝食はフロント脇のレストラン内の1室で提供されたが、バイキングと称するものの、品数が少なく、ファーストフード店並み。そして朝食時間は7時～10時となっているが、10：10頃テーブルに座り離席の支度をしていた処（飲み物カップ等まだテーブル上にあり）、掃除するから移動するようと愛想の悪い男性係員に、何と地元方言の広東語（英語や北京語ではなく）で言われた。（一方、別のテーブルの中国本土男性客はまだ飲食中で、何も言われず）。 宿泊費は決して安くはないが、　サービスレベルは可もなく不可もない水準で、宿泊する場合はこれらを総合的に考慮した上で決めるべきと思います。

Golden Crown China Hotel is immediately across from the airport departure hall so the location cannot be beat if you have an early flight out. The rooms are old but clean. The price is reasonable so we had no problem getting a room here for a few hours for a nap before our 2am flight. For people not picky about hotel quality and don't want to spend any money on transport, the hotel can also be convenient for longer stays as shuttles to just about every major casino is available at the airport.

As we took the evening flight, this hotel is a good choice as you just walk across the airport to get there. Lobby decors are beautiful and check in was fast. Rooms are bigger than my expectation but bed was hard compared to the usual and only one pillow per bed was provided. No coffee just tea in the room. Bathroom was also big with toiletries and towels are soft. Breakfast buffet just basic but sufficient. Staff are okay but had difficulty conversing with them in english. Overall, i was satisfied and will consider staying here again in the future.

I stayed for a week. There is not much around the hotel so the environment was niece & quiet. Cleanliness is ok and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast menu is very basic & the same every morning do you get bored after the second day . It is a ripper for people who are using the Macao airport because it is just across the road. Pricewise,it is very compatible.

The location is very strategic, just a walk away from the airport! So from this hotel to many other famous casinos in Macau, it's ideal to walk towards the airport to take the free shuttle buses available. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel for conveniences around Cotai area visit.

The location is right in front of the airport. I think it's good to stay when you arrive or leave at dawn. There is a free hotel shuttle bus from the airport to Taipa, Cotai, Macau Peninsula and so on. My room with airport view was quiet without noise

Excellent location for the airport. The Golden Crown is located directly across from the main doors of the airport. Sightseeing and casinos are easily accessed via free shuttle buses from Airport.

If you're looking for a place to stay that's literally a stones throw from the airport, then this is your place. The people at the front desk were really nice but that doesn't make up for the exorbitant price or the uncleanliness of the room. Not sure if my room had ever been cleaned, and there was still dirty water pooling about in the tea kettle. Other than the convenience of being close to the airport, there is nothing else redeeming about this place. There are many better priced places further downtown.

The worst hotel ever had. The hotel never replies back. I can't ask anything. even hotels.com also told me the same: they can't connect to the hotel. what kind of service they can offer?

When your a new comer staying for a night is convinient.Hotel is right in the front of the airport.The room is too dark and terrible smell but clean. They offer only 2 minibottles of water and nothing to buy beverages. No shuttle srvice and difficult to communicate in English. I book in a quite expensive rate.

This hotel is not very fancy, which is fine with me, but it is very clean, very convenient, and the price is a very good value. The staff were very kind and genuinely tried to help me when I needed help. My only suggestion is that they learn more about, in my particular case, the new Macao Zhuhai Hong Kong bridge so they can help their oatrons find it easily.

The food at the hotels restaurant was okay....! The doors on the elevators are quite dangerous as they close very fast and we often got hit by the doors closing on us.. Otherwise the elevators serviced well.. We were disappointed as the pool is only open for three months in the year and was closed when we were there in November.. we stayed at the golden crown china hotel in macau for 1 night. it was awesome at staying at this hotel, it is literally across the macau international airport, and the staffs of the hotel is very accommodating. the only problem is the slow and intermittent internet connection. for the breakfast at this hotel is very satisfactory. the cleanliness is an A plus. we will definetely comeback to this hotel.

Dear All, Firstly, I used DO NOT DISTURB function. Despite that cleaning staff called me and was asking me if I would like to make up my room, I just reminded them that not necessary, this is why I have used DO NOT DISTURB, anyway she was trying to offer cleaning once again.. Secondly, the cleaning quality is really poor in this hotel, I add you some pictures what I have found at time I step into the room. Thirdly, the food. There is a restaurant where you can find just Asian food. Knowing the fact, that half that could be some are Europeans we have difficulties to find western food. McDonalds is nearby in the terminal, but it’s temporary and not healthy solution. The internet cuts every 5 minutes!!!There is no internete connection in lobby! And finally, Today I used elevator from 17th floor. When reached ground floor I saw this view (photo below). The elevator I used was OUT OF SERVICE! Luckily I reached the ground floor without any accident. To sum up, the hotel has some things which is not acceptable, the rest is good! ☺️

Very convenient if you are flying into Macau. Pretty poor breakfast with no fruit of any kind and fake orange juice. The carpet was pretty stained and dirty in the room, but it is a nice looking place otherwise. Wifi was not good.

The entire hotel looks old and tired. We could not breathe well due to the odor in the entire building. Breakfast room staff was rude to chase diners out for LUNCH setup even we had a full cup of coffee.Swimming Pool was closed without prompt signge until we went there with full swimming gears.

We arrived after midnight for a 13 hour layover in Macau. Our requirements were simple - beds for the night and it had to be close to the airport. The hotel met these requirements. Just walk across the street from baggage claim and you're there. The lobby is immaculate but the rooms definitely could use updating. The beds, as other reviewers have said, were rock hard. Carpets were stained from cigarette burns and now I can see why most hotels in Asia provide slippers. The hardest beds I've ever slept on. I can't say anything about the free breakfast because we were too tired to partake.

Pleasant hotel for a night stay while the information showing the way to get into hotel is bad. It shows in Hotel.com a short distance from Macau Port and is possible on map to walk there. But no more guidance provided on the Hotel Website how to get there from airport and Port. Although it is quite easy to find but before you know it does being difficult.

I book a twin bed rooms and it has amazing view, lobby at 9th floor. And it's only across the airport. Thank God they allow me to check in earlier so i can explore the city since i only have a day in Macau. If you wants to go to the casino (venetian,parisian,lisboa etc) you can walk across the airport and find the free shuttle bus on the shuttle parking lot. I skip the breakfast because we had flight to catch on. They have the best complimentary!

I choose this hotel because I have to fly early in the morning and many free shuttle bus from and to airport. Everything is perfect. Hot shower, air con, wifi all work fine. They allowed me to check in earlier even they provide portable scale that I really need it to weigh my baggage

Good location, Well transportation

Exterior look seems okay with exterior glass facade and a great lobby but room conditions is bad. Stinky carpet, rundown furnishing and towels are just some of the many displeasure for the stay. Even the taxi drivers gave utterly bad comments about the hotel and some refused to take us, chasing us to drop off a 5 second drive out of the hotel stand.

This hotel is suitable for short day if next day rushing for early flights with free breakfast. Breakfast selections were less from noodle, macaroni, ham, sausages and bun but still fine however no fruits provided. Beverages can choose from tea, coffee and orange juice. Room : clean and nice with old building smell especially the bed cover😅. Toilet is clean and shower was good. Overall quite satisfied as no need wake up early rush for flights, 7-11 and McD available in airport if feeling hungry or can take free shuttle bus to Taipa area for a walk but watch out the last bus about 930pm.

Bed was like a plank of wood. It's fairly old, needs a makeover. Breakfast was a bit light.

Just whelming, quite clean. However lights were super dim and buffet kind sucked, TV was from the early 90's.

I arrived at midnight at Macao airport and needed a hotel for a few hours before an early morning departure. The hotel is a few feet from the departures and arrival halls. Typical Chinese hotel - hard bed. The room was meant to be a non smoking room but it did smell of smoke. Room decore needs refreshing. Room was a good size. The room rate per night is high but you are paying for the convenience. There was no noise from the airport but it was noisey when adjoining rooms used the bathrooms. Wifi was ok in the room. Left before breakfast started. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Bathroom had basic toiletries.

Location near airport macao, so if we plan to visit another place just down to ground floor and go to airport shuttle bus (public) or by taxi. The lobby located at 9th floor the hotel Staff very helpfull and speak english fluently (they will help us everything)***** Check in very fast. Breakfast good, 7-10 am Room : not too small, even look old but its nice and clean. From my room, i can see airport. I recomend this hotel, i will be back with my family. I suggest for traveller who will visit cotai (venetian, parish, sand cotai). But if you like nigh life, this hotel is not recommended.

overall stay was good. breakfast is so so. rooms are kind of old but good enough for sleeping during the night. the highlight of the stay was it is just in front of the airport, so upon arriving you can go directly to the hotel less the travel time which is a plus point.

Best value for money as most hotels in Macau are high end and budget hotels are mostly far from the airport. But this hotel's location is really good considering that it's right in front of the airport and very near the ferry terminal. We can cross the road and take advantage of the free shuttles. They have an area where you can leave your luggages so you can go around before your flight. Breakfast is included though it could have been a better (the only downside). Staff was nice and speaks good English.

Hotel is SOLELY for Asians. English hardly spoken by anyone. Hotel.com advertises 2 pools, none in service. Hotel.com advertises 2 x separate restaurants ( 1 for Europeans, 1 for Asians)Not true, only 1 ( Asian) available.Carpets in room (s) stained baldly, manager showed me 3 rooms ( hoping to change) ALL in same condition. Bar ONLY served beer. Executive floor lounge shut. 1 x English TV station. They say it is a 4 star, Sorry, would JUST rate it a 1 plus.Stayed there for 3 nights ( 4 days) asked for manager every day, funny he was NOT around / available

For first time business visitors who need to stay at Macau for a very short duration, this can be the ideal hotel to choose as it is just opposite to the airport. There are free bus services to take anyone to famous casinos and resorts from the airport. The free bus services stop only at night. The hotel has clean rooms, the view of the airport looks good. The WiFi strength is not good in some areas. The breakfast is ok. Most of the front desk staffs can communicate in English.

hotel is just across the airport. from the arrivals area, just take the escalator going up a floor, go out the airport and cross the street you'll be greeted by the staff in Chinese but they can understand and speak a little English. main lobby and reception is on the 9th floor. rooms is neat and clean, decent size but since the hallways are a bit small, oftentimes you can hear what the people passing by are talking about borrowing adaptors required a deposit of 30 dollars each, but was refunded anyway so it was okay convenient if you want to go to hong kong via taipa ferry terminal since the latter is just 15 mins away on foot. though you have to ask someone for directions as there were really no directional signs since the hotel didn't have a shuttle bus to taipa ferry terminal, we wanted to take a cab, so that we won't have a hard time walking with our luggage, but taxis there won't give you a ride if you're just going to taipa ferry terminal so just walk overall, the hotel was okay if you will mostly visit places in Taipa area

we booked 2 room for a night over the Chinese new year period both of the room carpet are full of stain and smell of smoked when is supposed to be no smoking room, also the bed sheet are rip have hole on it. the breakfast are very basic too not worth the money at all.

All was fine. Arrived late and departed early, did not stay long - not much to say. Nothing to complain about.

There were spots on the table, and the around the sink surrounds. There was also some dark grey colored deposit inside the kettle. Isolated location, but at least there's a convenient store inside the airport... but the store closes at 10.30 pm.

Easy travel to Taipa Village and Macau via the casino hotel shuttle buses at the airport. The hotel only provides a service shuttle to Presidente Hotel in Macau. Disappointment that there are no shuttles to Macau Ferry or Taipa Old Ferry Terminal. I had a very early morning departure to Hong Kong on the ferry. Enquired about possibility to book a cab the night before or to hail one at the airport. The hotel staff's response was that I have to try and get one 1.5 hours before since it would depend on whether there are any passing cabs! My ferry time was 6am. I was up at 4am left hotel at 4.30am and there was cabs sitting right outside the hotel waiting for any early departure guests. According to the cabby, there are usually cabs right outside for early guests like myself, so even a 5am or 5.15am cab ride would suffice for a 6am departure! Pathetic support and knowledge.

The location of this hotel is perfect especially for those who are traveling to Macau for the first time. It is situated right across the airport which is very accessible and convenient because you will only need to cross the road after you exit from the airport and you'll reached the lobby of the hotel. For those who arrive at Macau using the Ferry just like I did, buses that pass by the airport are readily available.

The porter service is terrible, they are suppose to offer to carry luggage but this certain man did not do so when we wanted to store our luggage. The breakfast that was said to be included in the hotel reservation, was terrible. The food look and taste dull, very little variety to choose.

Great Choice. Right ac cross road from airport. Can take Shuttles to major Hotels from airport, then from Major Hotels, shuttle to Main Ferry (to HK). In front of ferry terminal you can buy a hop-on-hop-off tour (MOP150). That takes you everywhere.We are not major gamblers. We stayed 3 nights. lots of time to get around and see the sights.You can also buy ferry tickets to HK, and Macau Tours in the arrival area of the airport. The Hotel itself is an excellent choice. Clean, friendly staff, and nice clean rooms. Complement y Breakfast was excellent. Not much food in this area, but across street in airport MacDonald, and a great noodle bar.Lots of food in the "City of Dreams" area(take airport shuttle). Would stay again.

Just in front of the departure area of the airport. Getting a cab during late nights is quite hard tho, and make sure you have local coins for the public busses. And there's no 24hr convenience store nearby too. The K store inside the airport is open until 11pm only.

The hotel is very airport friendly...They need to clean the carpets & table linens....

The room is fine but lack in complimentary, e.g. only 2 tea bags, no sugar or spoon. No sanitary bag available. Worse in breakfast. The food is almost same everyday, no variations and less options. Cold water isn't available. The waitress is not really nice. The most valuable thing is the strategic position, just across the airport.

Langauge barrier was a key but overall it was a nice hotel.

It was a very memorable stay. We almost didn't want to go out of the hotel. It is very accessible, quiet, generous, welcoming and comfortable, not to mention the relaxing view of the South China Sea and the not so busy Macau International Airport. We enjoyed everything including the food served during breakfast. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. When I get the chance to visit Macau again, I will not have to think twice, I'll stay in Golden Crown China Macau.

Lots of positives good room larger than expected for an airport hotel, easy access to taxi, bus & free shuttles making travel a breeze. Had hoped for the view of Macau, which went to one day stays and not the airport we had for 5 nights. Due to it being the airport hotel they get a high proportion of transient travelers coming and going at all hours; none of whom appear to know how to use indoor voices at 11pm-4am. Breakfast is not worth it save your money. We tried at different times of the sitting and food was cool or cold. I watched as they refilled the boiled eggs into the warmer from a bag this was good timing as I wanted one, only to find the were still fridge cold. Menu did not vary much just a change in the noodle type. Juice would remain unfilled for most of our sitting and when filled I would need to ask for a glass.

We just cross from airport to hotel, no need to take any transport. Can access the free shuttle buses from airport to other hotels. The hotel itself also provides 2 free rides per day to any location we want during our stay but not upon check-out. We stayed on 17th floor and facing the airport. Room is big with good view. Can see the plane takes off from runway. Can also see sun rise if the weather is good. But the air-con was too cold. We have to turn off air-con to sleep.

It was good, except that I wish there was a little more food choices in the hotel as well as having the staff know more English.

At the time of booking it was told that the hotel had a swimming pool and it was open. But when we wanted to use the same they said that the same was closed for winters. Moreover the wifi as claimed by the site and the hotel did not work at all though a message or two on whatsapp did flash once. Very Dissapointed with these two things. Rest all was fine. But definately the hotel Needs that Something Special. The Location was good and there were no transfers to anywhere.

Air condition not functioning, no cooling air even controller set at 10 degree Celcius. Need improvement on air ventilation as outside weather is more cooling and fresher during winter time. Somebody went into one of our rooms to smoke and left Indian smell in other room after we had checked in on the first day. Swimming pool would be better if it is a warm water swimming pool during winter. Unfortunately can't swim during our stay in winter. Morning cafe is a little rigid, we can't just order a piece of cake and a cup of coffee, eventhough they had display of a few choices of cakes but only can buy and take away. Rooms are quiet and nice view of the airport. A good choice of stay as there are many free shuttle buses to the famous hotels like Venetian, Galaxy, Wynn, etc. Expedia need to improve by giving us confirmation of booking as urgent as possible, not one day before departure.

The location is great for us. The hotel is just in front of the airport, as our flight is early in the morning, so we choose this hotel, again their are difference type of buses go to difference casino, so you just need to go to airport and take the free bus. the hotel is clean but it is quite old hotel. We reached hotel at 2 p.m, but the cleaner not yet finish housekeeping our room, in the end we need to wait more than 15 mins.
