The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked which made our stay ok, although you couldn’t swing a cat in the shower! Unfortunately, there were several aspects of the holiday that let the hotel down. Even for a 3-star hotel, I think it's reasonable to expect the food to be edible. Sadly, the food quality was below average and we struggled to find anything to eat. Everything was under cooked! The all-inclusive drinks system was also confusing and inconvenient. You had to pay a deposit for a plastic cup which you had to keep your entire stay. At the end of the stay, the manager was reluctant to return our cup deposit because we didn't have the receipt. It left a poor final impression. It was evident the manager was trying to be difficult which leads me on to the main reason I give this hotel a 1 star. The biggest disappointment for me was that I didn't feel particularly welcome as a British guest. This wasn't just within the hotel but also in the local area. I experienced unfriendly and unhelpful attitudes from some of the pool bar staff, and I frequently noticed looks of disapproval from locals around the pool. It’s obvious this area is for locals and they do not approve of British guests visiting. Overall, although the rooms themselves were ok, the poor food, frustrating all inclusive system, and not feeling welcome mean this is not a hotel or an area that I would choose or recommend for any British travelers!

The hotel itself was lovely and the pictures definitely do it justice. The rooms were nice and cleaned daily. The hotel was right near the beautiful beach and the promenade goes for miles. We hired bikes from the hotel at 12 euros per bike all day, which was great! There is no transfer from Barcelona airport to the hotel, check all taxi prices as ours increased by the time we got there! The area, Coma Ruga I believe is a holiday destination for the Spanish. Not one single person we came across was English. None of the menus in the local restaurants were in English, so we had to translate. Not many people speak English. We were shocked and I understand we are in Spain but it’s not a holiday destination to be honest. We would not visit this area again. The entertainment was all in Spanish so we was just sat there. Many of the hotel staff cannot speak English either, my daughter is pretty good at Spanish so she had to speak for us. We went jet skiing which you can find at the port, is was great! The food was really nice and something different every day so no complaints there. As other reviews have mentioned there is no labels on the food and none of the staff speak English so you have to just try it if it’s not obvious what it is. All in all I would not visit again.

Beware of bugs! There were bugs in the rooms, not only in the room itself but also on the towels we were using. In addition, the buffet had no labels indicating what each dish was or whether it contained any allergens. In my opinion, this should be mandatory. As a result, someone with allergies like me ended up suffering a serious reaction and spent a horrible night with stomach issues. This is unacceptable and something I intend to pursue through legal channels, as people with severe allergies could even die from an anaphylactic shock. For a hotel of this category, it leaves a lot to be desired. And be careful with the dinner as well. It felt more like a basic lunch service than a proper dinner. There were only stews, pasta, and rice available. The only vegetable option was a dish of cauliflower. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I never give negative reviews and do not excpect too much with 3 star accommodation but people should be aware of a few negative aspects. On arrival the room given wasn't ready, rubbish in a bag, towels, bed sheets etc crumpled on the bed - but we're given different room immediately 😀. The rooms are spacious and clean, with clean towels given when needed. Staff are polite, reception staff can speak English but other staff eg bar staff don't. There are no labels on food therefore it limited what we would eat...wasn't obvious what the dishes were. There is inconsistency in what the bar staff will serve you on the all inclusive package- no one seems to know what is and isn't included. The service in the bar is slow with usually one person serving. This is the only hotel that we have said we wouldn't return to, due to the non- labelling of food and inconsistency in the bar.

Excellent location in Playa Dorada, just 30 minutes from Barcelona. Clean rooms and facilities. Nice, helpful and professional staff. The check-in experience was above average. The atmosphere was above the average of 3 star hotel and for a proper price. Surely will repeat

Yo había estado en el pasado varias veces en este hotel, me gusta la ubicacion la tranquilidad de la zona.

Algunos de los empleados del comedor les gusta llamar la atención en plan policia,otros muy bien. Al entrar al hotel hay en algunos momentos olor a desague zona de baños. Personal de recepción muy bien.

Estancia pésima, las 2 noches que estuvimos sin agua corriente que llegase a la habitación, sin ducharnos, sin poder tirar de la cadena… lo nunca visto. Sin ninguna solución por el hotel ni nada al respecto habiendo pagado más de 700€ por esas dos noches! El peor hotel que he estado Ni una disculpa ni nada que pueda recompensar esta pésima estancia.

Se puede mejorar la organización del comedor para que no haya colas a la hora de comer.... Más atención con la limpieza en la habitación...

Hotel familiar com muito boa localização em local sossegado, Pequeno almoço farto e variado. Funcionários simpáticos e sempre prontos a ajudar.

O WC do quarto é muito pequeno e pouco funcional. Tem um espelho inteiro em local que não utilizável e o duche ainda é com cortina em vez duma cabine.

El desayuno y la cena es bastante bueno, la calidad del bufet es muy aceptable, hay mucha variedad. Desayuno continental.

El aire acondicionado en la habitación no funciona muy bien, tuve que pedir que me cambiaran la habitación y rápidamente me la cambiaron. Tampoco iba bien del todo, son aparatos con unos cuantos años ya. La piscina es pequeña para la cantidad de clientes que tiene el hotel, las hamacas suelen estar llenas. Tengo que destacar que era la ultima semana del mes de agosto.

Ubicación, al lado de la playa y cerca de tiendas, bares, restaurantes... Habitación amplia y limpia. Camas grandes y cómodas. Buffet correcto con variedad. Fácil aparcar en la zona (gratis). Personal de recepción, limpieza, restaurante y animación, todos muy simpáticos y amables.

Piscina pequeña y difícil encontrar hamacas libres. Programa de animación escaso. Se podría mejorar.

A simpatia dos funcionários, especialmente da recepcionista Paula, excelente em todos os aspectos muito simpática, pronta ajudar em tudo, visto que nós éramos portugueses e falávamos muito mal o espanhol , ajudou nós em tudo , desde sítios para jantar, como transportes, 5 estrelas

L’accueil était agréable À notre arrivée ils nous ont « vendu » un surclassement.. en réalité c’était la réservation rien de plus. De plus une chambre sur bout de couloir face a l’ascenseur donc bruyant. Mais surtout un débit d’eau très restreint et impossible de régler la température de l’eau. C’est un vrai point négatif au séjour. Autrement la literie très bonne et la clim est vraiment un plus. Le petit déjeuner était agréable mais sans grande diversification pour la période. En définitive, un séjour agréable avec un encouragement à mieux faire sur l’aspect confort.

Le débit d’eau en salle de bain, des clés (carte) logement qui se désactivent très souvent malgré les précautions prises.

L unic que haig trobat una mica per criticar es la falta de vasos o tasses per esmorçar i el moment de la planxa tan a dinar com a sopar Per part de la gent, la quantitat de menjar que s emporten es vergonyos. 😌 A vere si podem tenir un altra escapada per repetir. El primer dia el sistema per obrir la porta de l habitació no funcionava i havies d esperar que et vinguessin a obrir, la neteja o te la feien a les 9 del matí amb tu encara a dins vestint-se, el dia següent ens van venir a les 14 pensant que ja deixàvem l habitació i no ens la van netejar. No tenen control sobre la gent que es guarda les gandules malgrat la prohibició de reservar-les i quan ho comentes a recepció que t'has de seure amb la criatura al terra et diuen que els hi has de cridar tu l'atenció als altres clients per fer algo malament

que tenían una avería de agua, y no nos podemos duchar. Nos hicieron ir a duchar en las duchas de la piscina. Y esta avería se ve que por lo menos hacia un mes que la tenían. Y pregunto si sabían que tienen esa avería, porque cogen reservas? Y cuando preguntabas por un encargado o responsable no supo salir nadie.

El buffet es muy justo, no hay variedad de cosas. El personal de limpieza es muy justo, muchas veces pasan a limpiar a la hora de la siesta.
