Chambre mal insonorisée, et nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec des voisins bruyants très tôt le matin qui pensaient être seuls dans la maison

No me gustó el desayuno; no es muy variado, natural ni abundante. Todo era a base de harinas; pocas frutas que ya vienen cortadas y servidas, no ofrecen huevos, ni queso, ni cereales. Me dieron yogurt porque lo pedí porque, como como sin gluten, casi no tenía muchas opciones. Además, el jugo no era natural; siendo que la zona tiene tantas cerezas, ciruelas, manzanas, etc., me pareció flojo. Me gustó el café. El lugar es simpático pero antiguo, y necesita remodelaciones; el baño que me tocó necesita una reforma; tiene una luz que no anda muy bien y la ducha tampoco. Lo que menos me gustó es que está lejos de la ciudad; es algo que no se informa bien al reservar. El acceso al lugar es complicado; no hay frecuencia de colectivos cercanos, solo se llega en auto o taxi. Además, ahí no hay nada cerca para hacer a pie ni para comprar. Por ejemplo, me llevé una ensalada porque me avisaron que no vendían ellos nada, pero ni me imaginé que la casa no tiene previsto tampoco ni facilitarte sal, aceite, o vinagre ni nada para sazonar alimentos o para cocinar, algo que hasta en un hostel hay. Lo peor para mí fue el internet muy bajo e inestable; no pude trabajar; tienen otro internet más estable, pero no se comparte con los huéspedes. Sinceramente, me pareció muy caro por el servicio que dan. Me llamaron varias veces para preguntar a qué hora llegaba con anticipación, algo que me pareció raro, pensé que era como un hotel donde estarían todo el tiempo, pero se maneja más como Airbnb con entrega de llave. Creo que puede funcionar para gente que tiene auto y está viajando para Punta Tombo no para mí, que quería trabajar en calma pero con buena conexión y estar adentro de Trelew-

Beautiful, antique property with friendly hosts. Very clean.

The owner does not meet you at the property; you communicate via text. This means that not much is explained. You are expected to pay via an app which does not work very well; this was a very trying process. The location is very isolated. Room is a bit dated.

Yanina is incredibly detailed and concise. She knows how to go the extra mile and take care of every client. She speaks excellent English as well! We fell in love with the home and its history. It is 100% authentic and the setting in the country could not be more enticing.

Great place to stay.

Leider war die Besitzerin nicht dort und der Tag war kalt, so konnten wir den hübschen Garten nicht auskosten. Die Lage direkt an einem Fluss mit Feuerstelle ist schön. Das Haus besitzt ein wenig Magie. Frühstück war gut, Dankeschön.

Quelle agréable maison située en dehors de la ville et loin de la route, magnifique jardin, possibilité de faire de la cuisine. L’accueil sympathique et pratique, sommes arrivés par le cama de Bariloche, on a pu intégrer notre chambre à partir de 7h00. Nous sommes hors saison, pour le prix. On aimerait y passer l’été.

Llegamos sin imaginarnos la belleza del lugar y el buen trato y recibimiento de Yanina. El desayuno fue simplemente sorprendente y espectacular. Un lugar para repetir.

nonostante abbiamo prenotato il 09/09/2025 e soggiornato il 28/12 lo scambio di messaggi whatsapp nei giorni precedenti sono sembrati sorpresi nel vederci arrivare, abbiamo dovuto pagare in contanti (100,00€) perché il la macchinetta della carta non funziona o non l'hanno non si e capito(non hanno nemmeno avvisato), nonostante il 27/12 ci hanno chiesto a che ora volevamo la colazione.... e la colazione non c'era... davvero un peccato, gestione che lascia parecchio a desiderare, nonostante sia un piato molto bello

Hermosa propiedad con mucha historia. Yanina nos recibió de forma cálida y nos hizo sentir en casa.

Solo pasamos una noche. No hubo nada que objetar.

En general, todo perfecto. No cambiaría nada. La gente que te atiende muy amable. Todo perfecto. Si paso nuevamente por la ciudad volvería a ir al mismo lugar.

Nice outdoor garden patio

It was difficult to find. Our GPS did not identify the correct location and there was a very small sign marking a driveway only. The driveway had two gates that were sometimes locked and I had to get out of the car to open with a key.

It was like arriving in paradise. Beautiful house, s surroundings, ambience. I was so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for a memorable stay.

WiFi was a bit patchy but I badly need a digital detox.

Friendly staff, nice location, you are in a house. It is safe. It is about 15 minutes from restaurants and attractions in Trelew, which is actually very nice

You are sharing a house with other guests. Instructions for use were not clear, but likely related to our poor Spanish speaking. Water is not good.

Nos gustó la tranquilidad, la limpieza, las instalaciones. Es una casa antigua que está muy bien conservada y es muy hogareño. Se encuentra al lado del río Chubut, tiene un parquizado bellísimo. Algo para tener en cuenta es que nos sirvieron un desayuno espectacular con frutas naturales y deliciosas, el jugo de naranja es natural que no pasa en los hoteles. Destacamos la cordialidad de Yanina la anfitriona, siempre muy atenta y amable con nosotros.

Die Lage und der äußere Eindruck sind romantisch und historisch. Die Unterkunft ist günstig und uns war klar, dass es eine historischen Ausstattung ist. Die Kommunikation vorher war prima und unkompliziert.

Das Bett und das Bad wurden nicht gemacht und demnach auch der Müll im Bad/WC nicht geleert, so dass es abends als wir vom Ausflug zurück kamen, unangenehm gerochen hat. Die Bad Einrichtung ist nicht ansprechend. Die Küchenutensilien sind wirklich alt. Der Weg von der Straße zum Haus ist relativ lang und man muss abends 2 schwere Tore mit Schlössern öffnen, durchfahren und sie wieder hinter sich schließen. Als wir einen frühen Flug bei der Abreise hatten, mussten wir dies morgens machen und dann den Weg zurück fahren, um den Schlüssel wieder am Haus zu hinterlegen.

Sobrecargado de adornos antiguos en los espacios comunes. Lo hacen muy pesado. Faltarían televisores.

Excelente el lugar y la atención

Yanina reached out to us to arrange our early arrival. She made us so welcome- we felt like house guests. The house and garden are fabulous- peaceful and shady.

Excellent location, great character and atmosphere. Very welcoming and good for wildlife observation. The place has history, charm and the host(s) very friendly and helpful.

Perhaps the breakfast could have more variety, The evening meal was not good value for money.

This is a special place, only about 15 minutes from the airport but tucked back from the road by the Chubut River. Casona means “mansion,” and it’s a rather large family home and agroturismo with a lot of beauty.

We rented a car to explore the area and we’re very glad we did.

A lovely place in a small forest a bit outside Trelew. The hostess was ever so nice and even prepared some take away breakfast, as we had to leave very early in the morning. A fun and interesting place to stay at.

A quaint and pleasant location a few km outside trelew. Spacious rooms, and a quiet location. Reasonable value for money, clean and comfortable. A pleasant breakfast.

The facilities were a little "tired". Nothing wrong with them, just in need of some TLC, especially the bathroom. The room safe was not working

Beautiful, peaceful house with gorgeous grounds - lovely river, petanque court, and incredibly friendly dogs (who doesn't enter inside the house). Nice breakfast.

Central heating was broken, but they had it repaired quickly.

Absolutely fantastic stay at La Casona del Rio. Yanina was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to arrange excellent excursions during our stay. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was amazing and both Yanina and Diana were so friendly and welcoming during our stay. Truly excellent value for money. We would highly recommend!

The entire place is amazing. A quiet place with a nice garden along the river. Very pleasant to relax after a day of explring. Yanina and all the persons working with her were very friendly. We had some very nice conversation with al of them. We highly recommend the place. Need a car to get to town which is about 10 min away.

Staying at the charming La Casona del Rio feels like staying with a relative. Cannot give any score but a 10/10!

Both Yanina and Jenoveva were outstanding. The house was always neat and cleaned, fresh linens, peaceful place, great food. Located on the outskirts of Trelew, which makes it easy to go to Punta Tombo one day and Puerto Madryn since it is right smack in the middle of these two locations. We arrived at night, so we hired a taxi to go there for 200 pesos. The following day, we went back to the airport and rented a car, which is the best way to travel around, since it is quite easy to find tge roads.avoid Trelew, if possible, unless you want to visit the paleontholigical museum, which was very interesting.

Es vivir la experiencia de estar en una chacra, con el río Chubut que pasa por al lado de la casa y en medio de un parque lleno de álamos y otros árboles. Cerca de Trelew pero es necesario ir con auto. Preciosa casa, impecable la atención del personal, delicioso el desayuno con postres y mermeladas caseros. Absolutamente recomendable. Volveríamos sin dudarlo

Superb service!!! Yanina helped us with a last minute booking to visit Punta Tombo (pinguin site) and was extremely kind. You really feel at home at La Casona del Río. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We hope to come back very soon!!

Where to begin... They saved my trip! I had a bit of a fiasco with my booked rental car, and long story short, arrived via taxi at 10pm without a car. The next morning at breakfast, I tried calling all the rental car companies I could find to no luck. My gracious host offered to make a call for me, and found me a car for that day. It literally saved the trip. I booked another night (as my plans were tight to begin with, so I had to re-arrange due to the lack of a car in the morning). The B&B is situated on a really nice piece of property outside of the city. You really do need a car. But aside from that, it's amazing. You get to see stars at night, and you're only 10 minutes away from downtown. Really, one of the best places I have ever stayed, with the personal touch that makes the ultimate difference...

Ein kurzer, aber sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Ein nettes Paar unterhält diese Unterkunft. Sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich, zuvorkommend und flexibel.

Mooi plekje om te verblijven, eigenaars zijn bijzonder vriendelijk! Maak niet dezelfde fout als wij: blijf er maar één nacht. Echt aan te bevelen hier mininmaal twee nachten te verblijven!

Die Gatgeberfamilie hat mit dem Casina del Rio ein richtiges kleines naturnahes Schatzkästlein geschaffen. Das Haus liegt am Chubut-Fluss ca. 4-5 km außerhalb Trelews. Taxi- oder Busanfahrt ist möglich, perfekt aber ist ein Mietwagen. Yanina, Nadia und Carlos sind sehr nett und kommunikativ. Ein Abend mit einem Essen sollte man sich ebenfalls gönnen! Die Casona liegt inmitten einer alten "Chacra". Ruhe ist hier garantiert und man schläft phantastisch.Das Haus liegt sehr gut, um von hier aus z.B. die Kolonie der Magellan-Pinguine an der Punta Tombo oder die Waliesuchenserorte im Chbut-Tal zu besuchen. Toll ist auch das paläontologische Museum in Trelew.

À repetir

Avevamo necessità di un punto d'appoggio a Trelew per una notte, arrivati in volo da B. Aires e diretti l'indomani in auto a El Calafate. La Casona è un po' distante dal centro, ma avevamo già l'auto. E' un hotel a gestione familiare, comodo, piacevolmente simile ad una villetta inglese. Ci hanno accolto benissimo. Ancora prima di partire ci hanno aiutato a risolvere il problema del noleggio dell'auto, per il quale incontravamo grosse difficoltà. Da consigliare!
