Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The staff were polite and friendly. Special thanks to the afternoon/evening front office team for being supportive. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and it was only a few minutes’ walk from TRA train station. There is also a bus stop right in front of the property. One of the better accommodations we stayed at during our two-week tour around the island.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Location was good, close to train station
The curt and unwelcoming reception staff during check-in made the entire experience horrible. One particular receptionist, girl with thick bangs, was incredibly unprofessional. Whilst I was waiting in line, stared at me without beckoning me over/saying hello until eventually I asked her what to do to which she responded "number". Had to further prompt what this meant, to which she replied "booking number". When requesting for my card payment, the only thing she said was "card" and again, required further prompting to eventually get her to clarify she wanted "payment card". When we asked to leave our luggage at the hotel, did not respond and walked to one corner, standing with her arms crossed, until we eventually realised she wanted us to leave our bags there. When I asked her name, she responded "no name". The other receptionist (who later checked us out and could understand English also) simply stood there and did not help interfere/diffuse the situation. I don't expect overt friendliness but it would be nice to be civil and polite, especially as this was clearly a hotel frequented by tourists and she could clearly communicate in English. Despite the hotel being in a good location, this experience with the staff made the entire stay uncomfortable and made us feel incredibly unwelcomed.
