STAY AWAY! This is a NIGHTCLUB, not a hotel. We stayed on top (6th) floor and they had a very loud karaoke party in the lobby until 1 AM. The bass and beat from the music were so loud that they vibrated intensely into our room, making it absolutely impossible to sleep. We came downstairs 3 times to ask to lower the volume. First, the girl at the bar said they’re having a party but they’ll lower the volume. They didn’t. We came downstairs again and asked to speak to a manager on duty and the girl from the bar lied to us that there was no manager. We insisted and she finally called the manager who said they will lower the volume now. Which they didn’t. Twice they ignored us, but when we came downstairs for the third time and told that this noise level directly violates local French nighttime noise ordinances (tapage nocturne) and weI’ll call the police, the manager and the girl from the bar came to our room to hear the noise. The manager told us that she will issue s refund for that night in the morning. Then, in the morning there was another manager who said that this hotel simply “has events” and refused to refund us for a totally ruined night. A NIGHTCLUB should NEVER be in a hotel! People stay at hotels to sleep, not to party. Marriott has lost us as customers for good. They can’t provide the service one pays for. If you want a hotel where you can actually sleep, don’t stay at this hotel! Go where you’re treated better.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026L'hôtel est bien situé, très proche de la gare mais au calme. La déco et l'esprit décontracté sont très agréables. La chambre est grande, déco chaleureuse, la literie très confortable belle salle de bains.
Honnêtement tout est bien, juste un petit bémol sur la douche, le débit est faible et la température de l'eau varie.

Desayuno muy básico y con poca calidad en los productos. Reposición insuficiente: no reponían a menos que se les avisara, y en ocasiones negaron la reposición incluso quedando 30 minutos de servicio (pan, huevos para cocer, etc.). Estancias pequeñas en zonas comunes.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Staff was very friendly. Room is basic but was comfortable for one night. Shower was good Good as quick stop on the way to LeShuttle as only 1 hour and 40 min away.
It is located 10 -15 min walk from cathedral and shopping area. But as very close to train station, there are a lot of homeless’s sleeping around car park and hotel and we didn’t feel very comfortable with that Breakfast is very basic

Drankjes aan de bar krankzinnig duur. Ontbijtbuffet was oké, de koffie slecht.

Les alentours de l'hôtel peuvent donner un sentiment d'insécurité, même s'il est assez bien situé (proche du centre et de la gare) - Le déjeuner n'était pas foufou... Et surtout, notre chambre proche des ascenseurs n'était pas bien insonorisée, j'ai été réveillée plusieurs fois pendant la nuit par les 'ding' de l'ascenseur... pas très agréable!

In terms of location, it is right next to the train station, which means it sits a bit outside the city center. Because of this, the surrounding area can feel a little deserted in the evenings.

Voor een dag reizen een een prima locatie niet voor meerdere dagen om te blijven en de stad te ontdekken. Het station maakt dan te veel geluid om comfortable te genieten met open raam. Smaak kwestie. Het bestek, borden en glazen verdienen meer aandacht om het te boordelen als schoon.

The hotel was nice and it was not the first Moxy for us. But we had a surprising problem. We have 2 kids and when we are not at home they tend to sleep with us in bed in any case. So if there is no bigger room to book, we tend to book just one simple room (for 2) and sleep together. We pay for any extras of course in this case. To our surprise, the staff at this Moxy told us that this was forbidden according to some rules (though we had the same situation at Dresden Moxy and had no issues with that at all). And they made us to book the second room though we didn't need that. On top of that the room was even more expensive than to book it through a 3rd party service.

Ideaal. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Goed parkeergelegenheid om de hoek. Ontbijt was ook prima. Avondeten was oké, maar niet bijzonder.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Cozy atmosphere, welcome. The bar/food/products for sale > Top-notch, cozy, and worry-free. And, tasty, made with care. ( drinks & food ) Hotel located close to everything. Breakfast: Tasty and everything in ample supply. I was able to store my bicycle in a safe place.
I had already read it in the other reviews, and although I am a heavy sleeper who needs quite a bit of sleep before I wake up..., I also heard the seagulls during the night. Nothing serious; essentially, it didn't bother me. The hotel can't do much about this; perhaps bring it up with the City of Amiens, so they can see where a solution might be found. Just my input and tips on this. No negativity.

We were asked whether we wanted breakfast so we confirmed for the first night. When we came for breakfast it was empty we had to ask twice for food to be restocked and staff were put out when we asked for it even though we paid. My wife is fluent in French so could understand the comments from the staff as well which was not professional. This ruined our experience which before this was great

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Mooi hotel, fijn vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel, mooie schone kamer, fijne badkamer. Leuke lounge/ontspan ruimte met overal wandcontactdozen om bijvoorbeeld je laptop of telefoon op te laden. Ontbijt is eenvoudig maar goed en lekker, genoeg keuze om goed ontbeten te hebben.
De keuze in het restaurant is beperkt en eenvoudig, maar wat je bestelde was lekker. De ligging tov het station en centrum is super, maar de buurt was minder gezellig, achter het station.

The extra bed wasn't very comfortable but okay for 2 nights. The light system is not very convenient since you cannot switch on the bathroom light at night without switching on all the lights in the room.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Le style singulier de l'hôtel, très accueillant, convivial, un grand espace collectif pour travailler, jouer ou discuter. La chambre était grande et confortable avec la clim. La SDB aussi, avec shampoing, après-shampoing et gel douche. Un cadeau super sympa en bonus nous attend dans la chambre, des macarons d'Amiens ! Très bon séjour de 2 nuits!
La chambre aurait été parfaite avec au moins une bouilloire et des sachets de thé, tisane et/ou café + un frigo pour y mettre nos bouteilles d'eau en été. Sinon rien à redire, c'était top.

Ik begreep het licht in de kamer niet. Met één schakelaar alles aan en uit. 's Nachts kreeg ik het licht in de badkamer niet aan. Bad onhandig met instap [beugel aan de muur te ver weg]. Inloopdouche is veel geschikter.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The room we felt was really spacious for two people Very clean and tidy I enjoyed the firmer mattress and loved that the room was blackout for a better nights sleep Loved the cold water machine by reception to fill your bottles up Staff were really friendly and accommodating Great location, very close to the station Car parking opposite, €9 a day which isn’t too bad Great value for money, highly recommend!
The only thing we can comment on for improvement is the fact you needed to turn on the light by the door if you want to use any of the other lights. This means you can’t have a side light / bathroom light on without going near the door, which isn’t the best for people with accessibility needs.

Frühstück: Tendenziell minimalistisches Angebot (Habe in anderen Moxy schon vielfältigere Auswahl an Speisen angetroffen.) Wenig Brot- und Käseauswahl; Eierkocher ausser Betrieb. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Het ontbijt is vrij eenvoudig. Handig voor als je snel door moet. De kamers zijn iets gehorig.

Le manque d'isolation phonique de la chambre, on entendait l'eau couler quand dans les autres chambres quelqu'un prenait sa douche ou tirait la chasse L'absence de verre et de carafe d'eau ainsi que la bouilloire avec des sachets de thé/café
