Despite them saying there is a shuttle and a tour desk, there isnt. I dont appreciate services being listed when they dont offer them as feels disingenuous. It is in a decent location, but think careful about visiting Pereira as a tourist, not a particularly interesting or nice city, rather spend money on a shuttle to go stay in Salento or Filandia.

Reviewed May 24, 2026El hotel Don Alfonso está muy bien situado, con restaurantes que ofrecen variedad de comidas. La arquitectura del hotel es encantadora, es colonial, y está catalogado como un patrimonio arquitectónico de la ciudad. La entrada tiene un ambiente con jardines, fuente de agua, y sillas que invitan a estar allí, incluso vimos algunos pajaritos que llegaron. El interior del hotel posee el mobiliario de sus dueños y son de la época, muy bonitos. La decoración, los relojes, cuadros, fotos de la familia de don Alfonso, lámparas y demás espectaculares, las habitaciones muy cómodas y con mobiliario también colonial con escaparate, sillas, y cama tipo catre muy bonita. La zona para el desayuno es muy agradable con dos patios al aire libre rodeados de plantas e incluso un árbol en uno de ellos. Los desayunos deliciosos. El personal está muy atento. Nos sentimos como en casa. Volveríamos a hospedarnos en este hotel.
Sólo hubo un detalle en el desayuno del sábado que se demoraron en servirlo, y solo estábamos nosotros, y esto nos puso a correr para llegar a la terminal de buses.

Al hacer la reserva, me equivoqué en el número de personas. Dos en lugar de una. El hotel me cobró un recargo que era más del doble del precio que figuraba en la reserva por booking. El personal no estaba dispuesto a razonar y ni siquiera quiso escucharme. A pesar de ser un cliente habitual, no volveré a reservar allí.

Très peu d’insonorisation dans les chambres. Trop de mobilier inutile dans la chambre pour donner le look antique. Il devrait être soigné. Ma chambre paraissait d’un hôtel de deux étoiles. Le service du personnel est impeccable. Les propriétaires devrait une petite rénovation, sans vouloir dire d’enlever le look antique.

We reserve one type of room but we were put in a horrible room with two beds and we’re told if we use the second bed we were going to be charge extra. They also advertise pets can stay without any extra charge but they lie about it. We came in with our service dog and they made us pay in cash for the service dog which is illegals in Colombia to charge for a service animal.and also made us pay a deposit for the dogs stayed. We will not recommend if coming with or without a dog

Reviewed May 4, 2025La verdad las fotos engañan, cuando hice la reserva decia que la habitacion tenia balcon y/o patio privado. LO CUAL ES FALSO. Publicidad engañosa total!!! Ninguna habitación tiene este servicio. El hotel no esta abierto toda la noche, viaje con una señora mayor y un niño de 10 años. Una noche llegamos de una excursion a las 11 pm, y nos toco esperar mas de 20 minutos en la calle en un sitio peligroso hasta que nos abrieran. Hacennlo mejor posble por aislar el ruido, pero el hotel esta frente a 3 discotecas que cierran a las 3 am y el ruido es muy fuerte. Esto no lo mencionan en ningun momento. Cuando llegue pedi la devolución del dinero al ver todo esto para irme a otro hotel por que la descripción de la habitación no coincidia con lo ofrecido y fue imposible, nos toco quedarnos.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025An absolute gem of a hotel, it has charm and character and the staff are so helpful. Ask for a room near the back of the hotel when you book. It is right in the town centre, which is what we wanted.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2025CHARMING CONVERTED MANSION WITH GREAT ANTIQUES OF ALL KINDS. WE TOOK THE JR SUITE, WHAT A TREAT. DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL IS A PERUVIAN RESTAURANT OUT OF THIS WORLD. HOTEL STAFF WAS WONDERFUL

Reviewed Jan 13, 2025This is a beautifully decorated and very comfortable hotel in the posh part of Pereira. Easy walking to the restaurant and shopping area, and right across the street from an excellent Peruvian restaurant. The breakfast was very nice, served in a pretty courtyard. My room was large - with 2 showers and a large sofa. Downtown was also walkable, and the cable car station. Very secure - you have to be buzzed out and in the front gate. Such great value for the price.
