Very nice room
Garden area good but needs a bit of a spruce up
Everything! The space was cozy and decorated beautifully and had everything you needed. It was right on the lake and a short walk to town
A very beautiful setting right by the tranquil Carlingford Lough. We had a lovely room with an enclosed garden for our dog to access. Pasqualina and Stefano were wonderful hosts and very welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. We would definitely plan to return to the Oystercatcher.

The privacy and the attention to detail. The warmth of the welcome.

Loved this little guest house . We had everything that we needed and were very comfortable. It was ideally placed for the local amenities and restaurants in Rostrevor.
Nothing to dislike.
Everything. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms and tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Nothing.
Super freundliche Gastgeber, großartige Küche, die beste Pension in der ich je zu Gast war .
Good sized room. Very friendly host. Fantastic breakfast.
The bathroom, although private, was not ensuite. Also the room was definitely clean but I think there was possibly an airfreshener used just before we arrived and it left a very strong smell in the air. It was quite unpleasant to breath in and it permeated all our belongings. Other than that though, everything was lovely.
Location was great, a short drive to Warrenpoint and 5minute walk to cafes for breakfast. It’s right on the water as well which was lovely as we visited over the heatwave! Dog friendly and we got given a great room with an enclosed garden space for the dogs which we really appreciate!
Great location. Lovely room. Friendly owner.

The bed far too soft.
We were in the annexe part and it is lovely. Spacious, comfortable, wee garden. The bed and bedding was amazing. So comfortable. Shower great too. Everything was good quality. And as it was a Monday the owner kindly gave us cutlery for a takeaway. Flying visit but will return.

On recommande...
Loved it all
The large chair in room one restricted movement round the bed. Kept banging my leg on the bed corner. Nowhere really to move it to.

We booked the Oyster Catcher in Carlingford, thinking it was actually in Carlingford, which it’s not- it’s in Rosstrevor. There are 2 Oystercatcher accommodations noted as Carlingford and we booked the wrong one. When we realised on the day of the family wedding, we called the OysterCatcher to see if they could support getting us a taxi to collect us from the wedding reception and bring us to Rosstrevor. We were told to google it and that it was our fault so not their responsibility. The man was pleasant on the phone but not helpful. We couldn’t find a taxi to take us, so we drove 1.5hrs home instead. The OysterCatcher Lodge in Carlingford said that the mistake happens often as they both note their location as Carlingford.
Very nice host couldn't have been more helpful, lovely location close to town and park also, see across the road! Fabulous full irish breakfast
Road is close by and can be a little noisy at times
Lovely little B&B right on the waterfront of Carlingford Loch. Very comfortable bed, hospitible hosts and a good breakfast. Facilities are clean and nicely decorated. Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world.
The full Irish breakfast prepared in front of us was delicious. The room was a good size. The host was welcoming.
All good.
Friendly welcome and tasty breakfast
The location and friendliness of the staff
Loved the location and the views. The child had an accident and the owners were amazing and didn't make an issue of it. Very comfortable house.
Location: superb.
Very strong cinnamon smell in the room.
Everything was exactly as I expected. The lady I dealt with was so lovely. The location is perfect
Location! Very close to Rostrevor park. Spacious room, and comfy beds. Very friendly hosts.
Weather! Stormy day crossed our plans unfortunately 😕
Super cozy hotel with beautiful views right by the water - we really enjoyed our stay. The owners were so kind and thoughtful. Lovely walks near by and close to shops and restaurants.
Gorgeous room with a comfy bed. It was so nice to have a bath. We had a view of the mountains out the window. Short walk into town. Host was efficient and gave lots of privacy despite the fact that it's a small bnb.
Not very soundproofed but everyone was mindful of noise so we had no issues.
Beautiful scenery, delicious breakfast and cozy facilities! Especially love the reading room
Stayed here before, host is lovely and cooked is a lovely breakfast. Beds very comfy
I stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights during a weekend trip focused on hiking in the mountains. The location was perfect, as the Mourne Mountains are only about 20 minutes away, which made it very convenient for daily walks and exploring the trails. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of places to visit and enjoy nature. It’s a great base if you want to explore the region. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, warm, and comfortable. After a long day of hiking, it was wonderful to come back and enjoy a hot shower. The owners were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay near the mountains.
Lovely stay…great to be able to bring in my dogs and dog box after much travel and they were confined to car boot when I stayed in other accommodation. Ground floor accommodation great and able to go out to walk dogs in scenic area.
Very good place to stay
A lovely comfortable room with tv near the sea…what more could I want? I have two dogs who were allowed to stay in the room…a wonderful benefit after travelling in the car for previous 3 days/ nights. Great.
Nothing.
Booking.com said breakfast was included. When I arrived at the accommodation, I was told the rate paid was not substantial with the booking. Breakfast would be charged extra. Also, the only room available was a triple room with two beds on booking.com. When I arrived, I was given a room with only one bed. It was not listed on the guesthouse nor booking.com. I paid extra for a room that I hadn't booked. The husband was not hospitable at all. He answered the door and said his wife wasn't home and it was her business. The house is on the main road so very noisy from the traffic. The floor wasn't swept. Water pressure wasn't great in the shower. Old fashioned tub so it could be difficult for older people.
Breakfast was great, but should have been included in booking charge.
Did not like paying separately for breakfast.
Breakfast was great. A great welcome

Location by the Lough and near town superb. Lovely decor throughout. Outdoor space a bonus.
Nothing to note here.
Very welcoming and so cozy
Beautiful location, and a warm welcome.
The weather was poor, but I won't blame them for that. Inside was comfortable.
Absolutely amazing place! The owner was so lovely, room was beautiful, bed really comfy, views were stunning. We will be back!
Great host, great location, great town to visit
Booking.com busting balls to review the stay
I liked the fact that I could keep my two dogs there. Lovely spot beside the sea.

Nothing, great location
This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. Very close to all bars and restaurants. The owners were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. We will stay again
No issues at all
Śniadanie w porządku. Bardzo przytulny pokój, ciepło, dużo ręczników. Rękodzieło właścicielki to miła niespodzianka.
Well appointed room with a great bathroom. Next door's cat came to say hello.
Heating was slow to come on but did eventually.
Very friendly host and very comfortable room nothing was too much trouble she even ironed my partners clothes for him which he loved
Shower was very noisy when running
The area and views stunning and Frances the lady who made breakfast and breakfast was a gem.
However we specifically asked for 2 beds and we got 2 beds bit one qqs not fit to sleep in as springs were gone in bed so this changed our whole experience as we had to share a bed which wasn't ideal. We said to owners and they have offered discount to our next visit. So hopefully we get a good discount in order to return and see if visit be more plwsebt as it was ideal sharing a bed when we didnt want to.
Great location to stroll into town.
Perfect location and walking distance to the village. We had a separate little room starched from the main house. Good size with a modern bathroom. Pasqualina and Stephano were absolutely lovely . Accommodating and welcoming.
Nothing . All great
Great host, very personable, went out of her way to help me.
