Reviewed Sep 6, 2026L’emplacement est magique pour une vue à 360 sur les collines et vignes environnantes ! L’hôtel et les chambres sont superbes. Le service est en ligne avec le luxe de l’endroit. Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins. Petits déjeuners excellents et variés. Restaurant sur place très agréable. Bonne cuisine.
Prix un peu élevé sur certains plats au restaurant.

Excellent facilities for a relaxing stay with a very nice pool area and some relaxing seating areas in the shade of big trees. The food and wine was excellent, and the service by the friendly, helpful staff was exceptional. We really enjoyed staying at Castello La Leccia.

Breakfast was great and again had a beautiful view while eating. The hotel is quite central to all the great sites too. Also had a great wine tasting/tour with Philipo who was very informative

There was an issue drinking the water and some staff limited or charged you for drinking water. The air- conditioning didn't work as well as we expected. If you didnt book salon beforehand impossible to get a time.

Abbiamo usufruito di spa e piscina, pienamente in comodità e relax. il silenzio e la pace sono i protagonisti. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglieremo.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Tout. Notre séjour a été une véritable parenthèse enchantée. La clé de cette expérience réside sans aucun doute dans l’excellence des prestations hôtelières. Tout a été pensé avec soin, de l’accueil chaleureux et très professionnel à la qualité irréprochable des services. La viste et la dégustation de vins a été un beau moment, nous permettant de profiter de l’authenticité de la démarche du Castello della Leccia. La restauration mérite également une mention spéciale : les petits-déjeuners étaient copieux et savoureux, et le repas du soir était un véritable plaisir pour les papilles. L’établissement bénéficie d’un cadre merveilleux, avec une vue imprenable sur la douce et magnifique nature toscane. Cette atmosphère paisible nous a permis de lâcher prise, de nous ressourcer et de profiter de chaque instant. Nous repartons avec de magnifiques souvenirs et espérons sincèrement avoir l’occasion de revenir pour revivre cette expérience exceptionnelle.

Besonders hat uns die restaurierte Ansiedlung mit einer Burg aus dem 11. Jahrhundert gefallen man fühlte sich einfach wohl. Die auf dem Hügel gelegene Unterkunft bietet eine Terrasse mit Blick auf die Landschaft der Toskana. Einfach toll
Leider gab es ein Punkt der uns nicht gefallen hat. Wir hatten ein Zimmer wo die Toilette nur durch eine dünne Glaswand abgedeckt war. Die Privatsphäre war leider nicht gegeben. Schade

Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, hier sollte wirklich für jeden was dabei sein. Man kann sehr gut am Pool entspannen und wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt!

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Nydelig beliggenhet med utsikt ut over Chianti og vinområdene. Veldig imøtekommende og hyggelig personale som gjør alt de kan for at gjestene skal ha det hyggelig. Særdeles bra utvalg til frokost og ikke minst frokostplass både ute og inne. Middagene vi spiste på hotellet var også meget bra. Rikelig med parkering og nydelige rom! Spesielt badet var utrolig lekkert og innbydende - og romslig!
Når hotellet ligger såpass langt fra andre muligheter for bespisning, burde de ha et tilbud til de gjester som ankommer utenom åpningstider for restauranten. Den dagen vi kom, ankom vi hotellet mellom lunsj- og middagstid, og fikk etter mye om og men en løsning for noe mat, men ikke helt etter den standard man bør kunne forvente av stedet. At hotellets bassengområde stenger i beste "soltid", kl. 19.00 var også en skikkelig nedtur. På den tiden av året hvor det er for varmt å ligge i solen på dagtid, eller man er på utflukt på dagen, så er kjedelig å måtte pakke sammen så tidlig. En time til hadde gjort stor forskjell. De var enige i dette, og jobber etter sigende med å finne løsninger på dette.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Ήταν όλα καταπληκτικά! Τα δωμάτια, οι εξωτερικοί χώροι, η ευγένεια του προσωπικού, όλα άριστα. Είχαμε κλείσει σε εστιατόρια εκτός του ξενοδοχείου για φαγητό και τελικά όλα τα βράδια φάγαμε εκεί γιατί το φαγητό και η ατμόσφαιρα ήταν εξαιρετικά!

Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und lecker, Abendessen auf der Terrasse ein Hit. Schönes Superior-Zimmer im Haupthaus. Wunderschöner Garten zum relaxen, schöner Pool. Tolle Wanderung möglich.

L'atmosfera che si respira è davvero magica, grazie anche allo staff (giovane e gentilissimo) pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. La struttura è molto ben curata ed il panorama bellissimo. Cena ottima e servizio all'altezza, con Davide e Cesare che meritano un plauso.
La colazione forse non così ricca (seppur i prodotti fossero freschi e buoni) e poco funzionale lo spazio dedicato al buffet.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Perfect! A beautiful old property consisting also of a winery and organic farm, set in the peace of the Chianti hills and impeccably restored. Our room was spacious, the whole property was spotlessly clean and all the staff were delightful and helpful. We loved eating dinner on the terrace on our first night, enjoyed pizza night (which is every Wednesday ), where we ate some of the best pizza ever, and relaxing by the pool. The gardens - with plenty of seating areas - are also wonderful. There is a sauna and stream area, which you can have all to yourself for an hour and was bliss. It’s an easy drive to Siena and Florence, and the lovely village of Castellina in Chianti is ten minutes away. We’re already planning a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting with Philippo. We couldn't more highly recommend Castella La Leccia!
It would have been good to have been warned about the local communal roads, which Google maps takes sometimes. They are treacherous and should not be taken under any circumstances.

Also amazing spa you can book out privately, recommend a massage! And highly recommend the food & wine tour, shown around the vineyard on a private tour and tested their wines - learnt so much! Lovely staff who are always happy to help. Short drive to the town of Castellina in Chianti where restaurants/bars available, but also a lovely dinner menu in the hotel. Will 100% be coming back and recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Tuscany!

Reviewed Dec 15, 2025La struttura è immersa in un’oasi verde in pieno Chianti. Ogni dettaglio è molto curato, dalla pulizia alla gentilezza dello staff (ringraziamo in particolare Filippo per il Wine tasting e Chiara per la calorosa accoglienza). Davvero un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante!
Forse l’unica miglioria può essere quella di aumentare la varietà della colazione

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025As a single traveler, everything was perfect in my expectation. Winery tour at 4pm, dinner, calm night garden, also beautiful room, building and scenery. The hotel is good for honeymoon. But if you are looking for a relaxed place to to meditate even alone or together, this small winery hotel will be the best choice. Don't forget their extra virgin olive oil.
