Rent men lite slitet. Lampor som var trasiga, toalettsits som vinglade, balkongdörr som inte gick att låsa. Men lummigt o tyst.

No soundproof in my room, which was next to the office - I could hear everything from 8am when they got in. Room is old with smell of moisture and damp. Location good, net to bus stop from the beach.

Excelente ubicación, cerca del puerto, súper bonito, las instalaciones y el servicio muy bueno.

Skopelos es un lugar hermoso, las mejores playas pero el hotel Rigas no es un lugar donde quedarte peor aún si vienes de tan lejos. No es como las fotos y el precio que hemos pagado por las 4 noches no lo vale. La calidad del colchón malísimo, sábanas y almohadas las peores. Nunca regresaría a Rigas Hotel. Lo único bueno que tienes es la ubicación.

Vi var ret skuffet ved ankomst, da vi ikke synes hotellets standard levede op til beskrivelsen på Hotels. Det er slidt og bærer præg af manglende vedligeholdelse. Poolen virker beskidt med grønne kanter og en lampe, som flyder i vandkanten, da den er gået løs under vandet. Værelset er ok, men også slidt. Afløbet lugtede forfærdeligt på badeværelset hver gang vi havde været i bad. Der var ikke prop til badekar, så det kunne ikke bruges. Der er et mini køkken, men intet service, så det kan ikke bruges. Hvilket er ret ærgerligt. Der står også på Hotels at hotellet leverer gratis kildevand. Det så vi aldrig… Alt i alt en skuffende oplevelse, hvilket er ærgerligt, da det er en masse småting, som man nemt kunne rette op på. Det positive er at hotellet ligger rigtig godt i forhold til byen/havnen - det er kun 10 min på gå-ben og bussen går lige fra hotellet til den dejligste strand, som også kun er 10 min væk.

Terrible

You are 7min walking from the town square, close to everything (resturants, grocery store, fruit stands, car rental, port and beaches). This is quiet country meets the ocean and beaches in beautiful Greece!

Good location , peaceful, nice pool ( not for little children ). Oldish , from 80 ees.

Lovely Staff , nice breakfast, nice modern rooms.

Really easy check in, great location, great room, great price

Don’t get me wrong, rooms are nice for what you pay for, good views, nice balcony. Do not stay here past tourist season. It’s the middle of october and I walk in and the rooms are demolished for renovation. They offered to change my room to combat the noise of the renovation, that’s great. However being woken up between 8-9am everyday due to jackhammering and construction noises while on vacation? No do not disturb signs for the door so the room service lady (very nice) shows up anywhere between 10am-12pm to clean the rooms. 12pm not really an issue. But to sleep in on vacation I expect to not be woken up by people knocking on my door and coming in when I don’t answer as i’m ASLEEP at 10am. The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain unless propped open. There should also be a disclaimer saying the pool is closed and there is construction going on. Good location from the town center. I’m sure it will be nice after renovations and during tourist season.

Great hotel, second time we have stayed and would stay again

It was a nice place, close to port and shopping. Staff sometimes slow in responding to our requests. Breakfast had a good variety but would like more fresh fruit, especially what's in season.

A well cleaned property with vey kind personell. Full with nice plants the outside area makes the staying really pleasant. Only cons there is no actual parking in the property and 1 tile broken in bathrooms. Overall really nice property

Staff friendly. Clean hotel. Pool lovely. Bar reasonably priced. Lovely location. Can walk in ten mins from the port with cases easily. Rooms are basic but clean. Would defo return.

On check in we found the staff to be very friendly. The room was lovely but what was disappointing was it was raining whilst there and due to paying extra to stay in a superior room the main problem was that we couldn't sit on the balcony because the roof was made of raffia and therefore the rain was pouring through, whereas we noticed on the standard rooms the roof was solid enabling them to sit outside without getting wet. We shared a pizza whilst sat in the pool bar which was absolutely stunning as we had never had one that was so thick with topping, in fact we could only eat two thirds of it. The buffet breakfast had different choices every morning and again was lovely. The location of the hotel is very convenient with only 3 minutes to the supermarket and a further 3 or 4 minutes to the restaurants and bars on the harbour.

The stuff wasn't nice we experienced very not friendly approach. The hotel property is nice very green and have a nice swimming pool it is 7 min walk from Skopelos town so it was comfortable

5 star staff for being friendly and helpful. 4 star quality room, except wand shower instead of shower fixture on wall. 3 star breakfast selection.

Excellent experience, clean room, the staff was polite friendly and helpful, great location. The feeling of combination sea and nature was awesome. I will definitely stay again at Rigas Hotel.

The whole experience was awesome!! The room was comfortable and clean! But what made my stay in this hotel unique..was the staff!! It is very friendly and helpful! I am looking forward to seeing them again in the future!!

Un hotel súper limpio y precioso! Está cerca de todo. El personal es excelente, las habitaciones amplias y con buen desayuno. Excelente relación calidad-precio! Volveré!

In order to be fair I can comment on the positive and negative points. The cleaners were lovely and friendly and the breakfast very good. The pool bar facilities and staff were great. The rooms were a great disappointment. We did not get the room booked and had to request to move, we had a serious problem when drains were blocked resulting in us being stuck inside our appartement unable to use the facilities for most of one day. There were then serious concerns about sewage contamination and lack of cleaning.

Selvom vi ankom to timer efter check-in startede, var der ikke noget værelse klar. Vi blev guidet ud for at vente ved poolen, vi vi fik en velkomstdrink. Værelset vi fik en halv time senere havde så meget mug, at vi var ved at blive kvalt, da vi trådte ind ad døren. Vi lod dør og vinduer stå åbne mens vi var ude og se byen og derfor klarede vi os lige gennem den ene nat på hotellet.

We enjoyed our stay at Rigas hotel. The rooms are basic but clean. The hotel pool area is nice even though the pool is smallish (fine for kids to play in). There was a wide selection of food for breakfast and a different dish made fresh every say (crepes, donuts, fried eggs). The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel location is perfect: 5-6 minute walk to the port and all Skopelos town bars and restaurants, and there is a bus stop right by it for the bus that takes you to all the beaches. The Skopelos town beach is 4 minutes walk away.

Lovely setting and peaceful round the pool. We supposedly were upgraded but the room was sweltering the air con Dutton’s g the night flicked off every 20 mins it was a lift space kind of room which was lovely but unbearably hot.

The most amazing was the people of this hotel. Always eager, cordial, smiling, they explained everything about the island and make your vacation delighful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and decent for a 3 star hotel. Very good breakfast and internet. Highly reccommended.

It was difficult to find an open hotel in Skopelos in February. Fortunately, the Rigas Hotel is open year round. They gave me a spacious studio with very good internet and quite good sleeping.The bed is very warm, because of the electric mattress pad. Very clean and decent for 3-star accommodation. Employees are gentle and helpful. I had a very pleasant stay and I will definitely return for a summer vacation.

Rooms look nothing like the pictures displayed. Would not recommend

The hotel has some lovely areas and some very tired areas. We booked a room with rainfall shower, spacious balcony/terrace and blackout curtains and we were allocated a very tired room, with a very narrow walkway for a terrace, a handheld shower over a half bath and definitely not blackout curtains. The bed was not as promised, and didn't have premium bedding as promised. The pool area was not inviting, or friendly to English guests. It seems to be geared up for Greek guests only, which was disappointing, given it's potential. On a positive, the breakfast was very good.

Μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι από τη διαμονή μας. Το δωμάτιο (διαμέρισμα με ιδιωτική πισίνα) ήταν όπως ακριβώς στις φωτογραφίες και το πρωινό ήταν πολύ καλό. Αυτό που μας άρεσε πιο πολύ ήταν το πολύ εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό, που σε έκανε να νιώθεις πολύ ευπρόσδεκτος, από τη ρεσεψιόν, μέχρι το προσωπικό στην πισίνα και το προσωπικό καθαριότητας. Επίσης, πολύ σημαντικό για εμάς, το ξενοδοχείο είναι πραγματικά pet friendly, σε αντίθεση με άλλα ξενοδοχεία που δέχονται σκυλιά, αλλά σε κοιτούν "με μισό μάτι", εδώ όλοι λάτρεψαν τη μικρή μου σκυλίτσα (και τους λάτρεψε κι αυτή!). Ακόμη εντύπωση μου έκανε πως κατά το check in, ένας υπάλληλος έρχεται να σε βοηθήσει με τις αποσκευές από το αυτοκίνητο, που ούτε σε 5στερα ξενοδοχεία δεν το έχω δει και σε συνοδεύει στο δωμάτιό σου. Τέλος, το ξενοδοχείο είναι πάρα πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο της Χώρας, σε 5-7 λεπτά με τα πόδια, αλλά σε ένα ήσυχο σημείο και μέσα σε υπέροχους καταπράσινους κήπους, ιδανικό για χαλάρωση. Νομίζω πως είναι από τις καλύτερες επιλογές στη Σκόπελο και value for money και θα είναι η επιλογή μου αν /όταν ξαναεπισκεφθώ το νησί.

Das Hotel liegt an der vielbefahrenen Straße Richtung Glossa, die Zimmer zum vorderen Hof sind daher leider sehr laut, am Pool der nach hinten rausgeht bekommt man von der Straße jedoch kaum mit. Unbedingt nach einem ruhigen Zimmer fragen! Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber sehr klein. Für griechische Verhältnisse ein tolles Bad mit Duschtür statt -vorhang und Fenster.

Dålig service men bra läge

Sådär hotell, även om läget ”nära stranden” inte riktgt stämde. Visserligen en strand i Skopelos stad, men inte så bra att bada i pga hamnen. Servicen var sådär, bad om att få ett par grejor fixade som inte blev gjorda. Frukosten sådär. Rummen, i vårt fall för fyra pers, var helt okej.

Séjour très agréable au début du mois d'août. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Balcon donnant sur la piscine et le jardin de l'hôtel. Equipements de qualité. Accueil sympathique et professionnel. Bon petit déjeuner. Aucun point négatif.

Καλη τοποθεσια αλλα εκτος προσδοκιων οσον αφορα την τιμη και την περιγραφη του δωματιου. Δεν ειχε θεα οπως εδειχνε η φωτογραφια και ειχε περιεργη μυρωδια. Επισης μας δωσανε μονο 2 πετσετες για 2 μερες και οταν ζητησαμε μια ακομα δεν ηρθε ποτε. Πρεπει να επιλεξετε μεταξυ σωματος και κεφαλης για την χρηση των σαπουνιων γιατι το αποθεμα ηταν ελλιπες. Το μοναδικο παραθυρο ειχε θεα στο διαδρομο απο τον οποιο περνουσαν ολοι οι ενοικοι των διπλανων διαμερισματων.

Kändes lite sjaskigt även om det inte var dåligt. Låg nära till hamnen men väldigt fult och tråkigt runt hotellet. Bra och nära till busshållsplats dock, bussen går till i princip alla stränder och kostar inte mycket. Poolen var ju ett skämt, massa insekter i vattnet och ”heltäckningsmatta” som var lite halväcklig. Bra frukostbuffé, inget wow men många alternativ. Trevlig personal. Wifi som fanns på hotellet var dåligt, stod på vår bokning att det fanns tillgång till tvättmaskin och att man fick gratis flaskvatten av hotellet men det fick man inte alls. Rummet vi fick var inte särskilt fint, såg slitet och gammalt ut, inte särskilt bekväma sängar, plus att ena benet var sönder så den lutade. I sin helhet var det ju billigt och rätt okej, men är du en person som gärna ligger och hänger lite på hotellet och vid poolen så är inte detta hotellet för dig. Är du endast ute efter att upptäcka Skopelos så är det det.

Loved the friendly staff. Beautiful gardens. Walking distance is reasonable. Would recommend highly.

Great hotel,prompt service, clean and cozy room and the area around was very convenient. Continental breakfast but the most amazing chef prepared us eggs of our choice in front us which really made our day!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome breakfast was included with our booking. Friday evening BBQ was very good and worth the money. We ate another dinner too but tended to eat at local restaurants. Pool small but well kept. Only thing I found strange, the maids did not fully make up the bed but left a clean top sheet neatly arranged on the bed. The bottom sheet was on with comforter draped at foot of bed. This was odd to me. Pillows weren't that comfortable and beds are very firm. We still enjoyed our stay and spent most days on one of the great beaches. Skopolos is a great place.

We got a upgrade and the Studio was roomy. The Cocktails are quite good and the beer including the glass ice cold. But the water in the pool was full with bees and other insects. The breakfast was unfortunaly unenjoyable.

We booked seven rooms for some guests attending our daughter's wedding. In addition to the Rigas we had booked another four hotels for guests. The day before our guests arrival we visited the Rigas to provide the names of our guests and what type of room (double or quad) they would require. I had booked 4 quads and 3 doubles. When our guests began to arrive Friday morning, some were told they could not be accommodated at the Rigas and would have to be moved. I called the Rigas on the Friday and I was assured that none of our guests had been moved - a falsehood. In addition when our guests asked to speak to the manager they were told they could not as he was not there. The Manager was clearly visible from the lobby and only after threatened with calling the authorities did he deign to meet with our guests. In addition, my brother's shower door shattered and he sustained multiple cuts to his body. The manager played down the seriousness of his injuries. Earlier in the day, staff enters their room and began moving out furniture. When asked why the furniture was being removed, they were told there was an "emergency" although the "emergency" was never defined. When we brought this to the attention of the Manager his response was "yes, but we put it back." Luckily for us, this was the only hotel with which we were disappointed.

Typical greek standard hotell. Its ok but not excellent. If you have smaller children book the room with private pool!

Very close to the city, clean and big room

Amazing hotel , staff was very friendly. It's close to everything in skopelos. Breakfast was rich and fresh. Room was spacious with new furniture and hot water all the time. Internet in all places free of charge and fast. Would recommend this hotel to everyone

El fotógrafo es buenísimo ya que las fotos no tienen nada que ver con el Hotel. Un hotel decadente donde la habitación olía a humedad y el desayuno dejaba mucho que desear. Casi nadie hablaba inglés.

The room was very nice , like all areas of the hotel.Breakfast was very good. The pool area was fantastic and full of life all day long. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had only planned to stay one night at hotel and as our room, No.128, was right above a fairly busy road I'm glad that was the length of our stay. The room was quite small, compared to the one we were staying in on Skiathos for the main part of our holiday. The TV did not work and the shower head was broken. If we had been staying longer I would have brought these issues to the staff.

Rigas Hotel ligger fint til langs hovedveien i nærheten av bryggen i Skopelos. Betjeningen var hyggelig og imøtekommende, men da vi åpnet døren til rommet slo mugginfisert luft mot oss i en grad som ikke hører hjemme i noen hotellprisklasser. Renholdet var også på et svært lavt nivå, særlig på badet. Jeg vil derfor ikke anbefale budsjettrommene på Rigas. Prøv heller å gå litt opp i pris hvis du skal bo her, forhåpentligvis er de rommene i bedre stand.

The hotel was definitely over the average but still I believe there is some room for improvement. Our bathroom although there was not something really annoying was a bit old. In addition, the small pools and the plants in the garden were not very trim. Services (including tidyness) were absolutely satisfying, and the room was very spacious and nice. As for the location, it is not so close to the city center but the town is really small so actually it does not consist of a problem.
