El entorno es muy tranquilo ideal para descansar, fui en Mayo y la temperatura de la cabaña fue siempre ideal.

Reservamos la cabaña para pasar una sola noche y menos mal, porque no era lo que esperábamos. Al hacer la reserva, en la web aparecen muchas fotos mezcladas: algunas muestran apartamentos que parecen nuevos y más bonitos, mientras que otras corresponden a alojamientos bastante más antiguos. Esto no está bien diferenciado ni te da opción a elegir entre uno u otro, por lo que acabas pensando que vas a alojarte en el más moderno. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos, nos asignaron el apartamento antiguo, que no se corresponde con la impresión que dan las fotos principales. Además, el wifi no funciona correctamente: se conecta, pero la señal no llega bien y no hay conexión a internet en los dispositivos. La cisterna del WC de abajo está rota y, cada vez que tiras de la cadena, se queda atascada soltando agua continuamente. Por otro lado, la puerta del baño de arriba chirría muchísimo.

Gustavo foi um excelente anfitrião, todos nós atenderam perfeitamente deram muita dicas do que fazer pela cidade e a estrutura que possuem é sensacional! Recomendo demais!

La comodidad de la cabaña y el complejo en sí con la tranquilidad de la ubicación en la que se encuentra y además teniendo pileta climatizada, playroom y juegos para niños. Además un plus la parrilla al fondo. También está muy bien la atención de parte de Gustavo que está al tanto de nuestra hora de llegada y salida y nos ha asistido con todo lo que necesitamos.

Solo diría el parking aunque está muy bien tener el auto abajo de la cabaña hay un espacio muy reducido para la maniobra. Pero esto no afecta en nada la estadía.

Es realmente como se ve en las fotos incluso mejor, la atención de Gustavo y el personal fue siempre muy buena y totalmente predispuesto. Nos tocaron unos días de calor y solicitamos un ventilador enseguida lo trajeron. Claramente volveríamos sin dudarlo y lo recomendamos porque es muy lindo y cómodo🫶🏼

It was genuinely great overall. Bear in mind that the location of this place is a bit away from the town center, which means it's more private and quieter, but also a bit separated from restaurants and so on (for us this was positive). Highly recommended!

The parking spaces are a bit tight - an SUV would fit, but a parking a pick-up truck would be a struggle

Die Ferienhäuser waren gut ausgestattet. Es gab ausreichend Geschirr, Sitzgelegenheiten im Außenbereich und sehr nettes Personal. Zudem die Möglichkeit Billard und Tischtennis zu spielen.

Very cozy and lovely apartments for a nature getaway. Everything was clean, with fresh bed linens and a comfortable bed. The apartment was also warm, which is great for traveling in autumn and winter.

Lovely property , big apartment with everything you need. Gustavo and also his wife Gabriella couldn't have been nicer hosts. They really went out of their way to help us and make our stay perfect. Go to gallery george if you like art and architecture. - you can find it on google maps, call for an appointment.

We had a very pleasant time at las Cumbria, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment we had was one of the newest ones. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The house was amazing, welcoming snacks with coffee tea sugar, comfy big bed in master bedroom, 2 ok beds in next room (though turned out a little small for our moms). Kitchen with everything you need for cooking, bathroom upstairs and toilet downstairs. Heated pool (was working even when it was snowing) and sauna, amazing!!!! Gustavo was very welcoming and friendly. Got us a new sponge for cleaning the dishes, extra tea/coffee! I would love to come back some day to this house and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Las Cumbres is a great option to stay in San Martin. Location is great just a few blocks from the town center. Staff is great! Gustavo received us and helped us a lot to get around and in everything we needed, also have us a very walm welcome with sweets from local shops. The hot water outside pool is awesome even in freezing cold snow. The cabin is very big, with all you need to have a home, and also very well heated. Higly recommended.

Three of us used this as a base for exploring the area. Gustavo was extremely friendly and very helpful. The apartment was clean, well laid out and had everything we needed. The medialunas brought in daily were a delightful touch. We would return any time.

Located just a couple of blocks outside downtown San Martin, the setting was very quiet with only the sounds of nature (lots of birds) punctuating the approach of the Argentine autumn. Cabins were spacious with full kitchens and comfortable beds. Gustavo -- self-exiled from Buenos Aires -- who runs the property, an informal tourism minister, was incredibly friendly and helpful and added to the overall warmth of the property, though his Rhodesian Ridgeback, India, would not give up the reception area couch for the Pope himself! We had a great visit. All the staff were friendly, and we had daily visits from a local cat, Blue, who had perfected the skill of genteelly dispossessing us of food while not really begging. The place made a great operating base to explore the Andean lakes and mountains and felt safer than anything similar in the US (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming). This was the off season, so not sure how things would be during ski season, but wouldn't hesitate to return.

The little chalets were great and had all you needed for a stay including fully replete kitchen, films, a bbq (that they will clean for you) extra pillows and a little heated pool. Don’t be alarmed at about 8.30am when you hear your door open- you’re not being broken into, that is the staff leaving you a basket of fresh croissants every day! It was pretty hot in the house at night and the bathroom had seen better days but on the whole it was a great place to stay. Gustavo was super friendly and helpful with tips and directions. Los pequeños chalets eran geniales y tenían todo lo que necesitabas para una estadía que incluía una cocina completamente completa, películas, una barbacoa (que te limpiarán) almohadas adicionales y una pequeña piscina climatizada. No se alarme aproximadamente a las 8.30 am cuando escuche que se abre la puerta. No se le está entrometiendo, ¡es decir, el personal le deja una cesta de croissants frescos todos los días! Hacía bastante calor en la casa por la noche (en verano) y el baño había visto días mejores, pero en general era un gran lugar para quedarse. Gustavo es super amable y servicial con consejos y direcciones.

Todo excelente, desde el trato y la atención hasta lo hermoso del lugar. La cabaña súper cómoda y limpia, tiene pileta, sauna, sala de juegos, estacionamiento techado ...ampliamente recomendable y esperemos poder volver pronto.

This was our second stay here and, on reading my last review, the comments are the same. Not 5 star luxury but spacious and very good value as we again got an internet special from their website. The staff are excellent and so friendly and helpful, the manager Gustavo, Max in the office and the ladies who clean the rooms and bring the breakfast trays with fresh medialunas. With their limited English and our limited Spanish we communicated well. I do however agree with the comments from another reviewer about the hard towels; ditto the bedlinen but all very clean. The bed in the main bedroom is standard double with twin beds in the second bedroom. Still comfortable and very good value but do not expect luxury.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a 2 storey unit which could have slept 6. It was 2 bedrooms upstairs with 2 beds/sofas downstairs in the living area. Well-equipped full kitchen and a spacious dining area. Outdoor seating and a BBQ for each unit. As we are only a couple there was lots of space to spread out. Not sure if all units are the same but the others we happened to see were as big. It is a few years old but not a modern design and is wood and brick Andean country style; not our taste but OK. The downside from our point of view was the location as it is high on a hill in the suburb of Altos del Sol and the walk to town is OK; about 15 minutes but coming back up was 25 minutes; not good with heavy shopping bags. Still we did improve our cardiovascular fitness. If one had a car then it is a pleasant quiet location. The units were well cleaned daily and all the dishes washed, bed made and towels changed if one wishes. A tray breakfast was left in the kitchen, at 8.30 each day, with delicious warm media lunas, bread and conserves plus tea and coffee bags. Very pleasant staff but the office is not staffed all the time and not all speak English. There is good WIFI and cable TV and telephone in the units and a small outdoor, heated pool plus a games room. Efficient heating system which is necessary in the colder times of year here. Other apartments we have rented have not provided daily cleaning etc. and for the price we feel it is very good value and would return. It seemed to be mainly people from Argentina and Chile staying there and it was great to meet them and get local information as some of them were regulars and very friendly. It was low season in San Martin so we got a super special on the internet with 7 days for the price of 6 which also included a half-day guided fly fishing and a half day local bus tour. It worked out at around US$55 per day for the 2 of us. It is definitely worth checking their website for specials.
