Si buen el lugar queda alejado y eso le da tranquilidad la llegada es engorrosa se pasa por un camino lleno de piedras bastante angosto y se cruza un barrio , de noche no hay luces hasta la llegada al hotel . Y sobre la habitación la cama es chica .

Es dificil llegar. Las indicaciones no son claras y se pierde mucho tiempo en esa comunicación con el hotel. Las habitaciones son frías y la calefacción es un caloventor que no da abasto.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Excelente el lugar muy tranquilo, la atención del personal excepcional, lo mejor de la estadía fue cruzarnos con Mullolo nuestro amiguito felino muy mimoso que nos robo el corazón... la habitación muy limpia al igual que las sabanas y toallas.
La calle de acceso hacia el hotel no esta en buen estado, queda bastante retirado del centro. No tenia muchos enchufes en la habitación, uno para la calefacción, otro no funcionaba y nos quedaba uno para cargar los celulares.

Si bien está cerca, llegar es un poco tedioso por los caminos desgastados que presenta la geografía.

La limitacion del lugar es su ubicacion. El camino es un poco bravo y, por ejemplo, se necesita preveer qué cenar de antemano. El desayuno está ok pero podria estar un poco mejor

Luego de una larga discucion con un empleado logre que me cobraran lo que estipulaba la reserva en booking. Mal momento pero se resolvio. Habitacion sin TV. Desayuno modesto.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2025Beautiful views, very relaxing, and friendly hosts. The room was very spacious. Watching sunrise over the valley was special. Breakfast was basic and good. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice and well maintained. The road to the hotel was fine, we did not have a 4x4 and were OK. However, it is a little far from downtown and would not recommend walking because of the distance.

Reviewed Oct 2, 2024The room was very spacious, the bed was confortable, and the bathroom was great. The breakfast buffet was also good. I didn't had the opportunity to use the swimming pool or the deck-chairs but it seems to be a great location to have some relaxing time. Even if the hotel is only accessible with a sand path, multiple signs show the direction to take (however, don't try to get there with a sport car!)
Given the remoteness of the hotel, it could be nice to have access to a fridge/freezer to buy some pizzas, sandwich, empanadas etc. (and have access to the necessary oven/microwave), this could help people who arrived late or didn't plan a diner

Because it’s a bit remote from the city, it is very quiet at night. If you’re looking for a place to relax during your trip, that’s the place to stay at!

Don’t let the fact that you can only reach the hotel via an unpaved road scare you. We had a small 2x4 car and it was perfectly doable.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2023We booked Hotel Texas last minute and were very pleasantly surprised on arrival. The room was lovely and suited our needs. The pool was great and the staff were friendly. Beautiful views and very quiet.
The breakfast could have been better. Quite basic 'continental' breakfast but made sense as the price was not overly expensive for the night so the breakfast was a bonus for us before a day of travel.

We expected more for 100USD Like a number of businesses we have dealt with as foreigners in Argentina they added 10% to the price for credit or debit card payment. They emailed us before we arrived (but too late for us) to say they had no card facilities which wasnt true. So don't believe Booking.Com if they say you can pay by card on arrival and that the price includes all charges: not true. As others point out the place is hard to find and involves 2.5 ks of sandy and rocky road from a specific unsignposted point on the highway. Google Maps had what looked like alternative routes but these involved driving through rivers/creeks. And you need to bring your own food and drink as the only food available is breakfast and possibly a bottle of beer. Still no cereal bowls.
