Daily room cleaning.Only one TV English channel (France 24)Continental breakfast plus eggs a good start to the day. Variety of well priced evening meals available Very small pool (only one lane). Sun loungers and shades poolside. Staff always cheerful and efficient. Hotel is on a steepish hill (mercifully short)

Tout les services ont été excellent. Il n'y a pas d'air climatisé, avec un ventilateur va bien. À 200 metres de la mer.

Nice hotel, yes it's dated and the rooms don't have AC but it was a good price and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast didn't have the biggest selection but again nice and good quality with staff to cook eggs to your liking. A reasonably small hotel which means you don't get the big groups of younger people coming in at all hours of the night. Bar was also very cheap for a drink around the pool. It's obviously not 5 star but it doesn't claim to be and you also don't pay 5 star prices. Good location, 5 minutes from the beach.

Super séjour dans un hôtel familial et à l’écart du bruit de la ville mais il côté de tout. Vraiment bien.

Très bel hôtel situé à 300 m à pieds de la plage - Accueil très chaleureux - Très beau jardin avec piscine - Chambre spacieuse, propre, avec salle de bain, douche, baignoire et petit balcon - Ménage fait impeccablement tous les jours Les 2 seuls petits bémols sont : - l'absence de climatisation, mais en laissant les vitres ouvertes la nuit, c'était finalement très supportable en cette période de fortes chaleurs - choix restreint pour le buffet du petit déjeuner, où des légumes auraient été les bienvenus À part ça, le petit déjeuner pouvait être pris en terrasse, ce qui est très appréciable, aucun autre hôtel ne me l'avait proposé lors de mes séjours précédents. Pour résumer, après avoir séjourné dans d'autres hôtels lors de mes précédents séjours, je peux comparer, et je dirai que c'est de loin le meilleur : je le recommande et je reviendrai.

Die Lage des Hostal ist einfach ausgezeichnet. 7 Minuten zum wunderschönen Strand und 1 Minute zum Supermarkt. Auch die Strandpromenade ist keine 10 Minuten entfernt. Das Personal ist das freundlichste und herzlichste was wir je erlebt haben. Die Zimmer waren immer sauber. Die Einrichtung ist nicht die modernste, dafür aber alles sehr familier. Wir würden jederzeit hinkommen.

Arrived early hours of the morning and was met by a very friendly gentleman who welcomed me to his establishment. My room was spotless and adequate for what I needed as I was only staying 3 nights. Lovely little pool with sunbeds, which was a sun trap in the afternoons. Approximately 150 m from the beach so very convenient. I will definitely be returning to this lovely little place.

10 minute walk distance to the beach and castle. The reception staff was very much helpful to find a parking spot. Electric wire connection on the wall for phone charge was too loose to use international standard charge connection. The room had a partial view of ocean.

Heure de check-out non indiqué à l'arrivée, parking difficilement trouvable (21 euros la nuit ...). Le matin la femme de ménage nous réveille à 10 h, l'heure du check-out. En moyenne je déconseille Lloret del Mar.

Tout parfait propre très bon accueil mais pas de climatisation donc chambre très chaude et pas de petit frigidaire dommage

Ich habe 1980 meinen ersten Urlaub im Vorgängerhotel „Sanco“ gemacht und dort meine große Liebe kennengelernt. Jetzt 42 Jahre später, haben wir dies zum Anlass genommen, einen Urlaub im Magnolia mit Halbpension zu buchen, dort, wo im Prinzip alles für uns begann. Dort angekommen, wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und unsere Geschichte machte es auch für den Besitzer zu einem besonderen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren einfach, aber absolut top sauber! Das Frühstück war spartanisch, die Backwaren sehr lecker, der Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten lecker. Nur die über dem gesamten Zeitraum gleichbleibenden drei Sorten frischer Aufschnitt, das war dann schon etwas einfallslos. Käse, Kochschinken und eine Art Jagdwurst. Das größte Problem war das gebuchte Abendessen. Es gab keinen Koch mehr im Haus. Dies wurde uns auch bei der Ankunft direkt mitgeteilt. Durch Corona, kein Personal, aber Goyo der Barkeeper wird euch zubereiten was immer ihr wollt. Damit fing abends das Dilemma an. Dosenessen, Fertiggerichte, Mikrowellenessen, es war bis auf wenige Ausnahmen frischem Fisch nur fertigessen. Weiße Bohnen in Tomatensoße mit Frikandel, Bratkartoffeln in Olivenöl "gekocht".Goyo mag ein guter Barkeeper sein, aber seine aufgezwungene Rolle als Koch, war sehr schlecht. Der Fehler lag nicht an ihm, sondern am Besitzer. Laut Aussage waren wir die letzten, die Halbpension gebucht haben. Ich wünsche mir für die noch kommenden Gäste, dass es auch wirklich so war!

Het personeel is fantastisch! Heel gastvriendelijk en gastvrij. De kamers en het ontbijt zijn basic. Het enige grote nadeel vond ik dat de kamers mega gehorig zijn, ik heb geen nacht doorgeslapen en niet alle kamers hebben een balkon.

L'hôtel est bien situé proche de la plage mais il n'y a pas la climatisation dans les chambres. Les chambres sont petites c'est le strict minimum pour y vivre ça paraît long en 10 jours. Heureusement que le personnel de l'hôtel est agréable pour combler ces défauts.

Hotel rapport qualité/prix correct en pleine saison, ambiance familiale, gentillesse, bienveillance et serviable sont des points importants .... Piscine, endroit ombragé, tranquille, proche de la mer environ 350 mètre Petit déjeuner et repas du soir également un bon prix ... Vraiment à recommander

cet hôtel est idéalement situé la direction comme les employées sont adorable et très disponible si vous y allé en pleine saison pensé a demandé a l’hôtel de vous réservé une place de stationnement dans le parking sous terrain car la bas impossible de stationné en dehors des parking payant environ 30euro pour 24h a l'hotel il coûte 10e par jour au delas d'une journée sinon 15h par jour .J'avais pris la demi pension super on peu mangé dans un jardin magnifique avec bassin a poisson qui est entretienu avec amour les propriétaires .Le seul bémol c'est qu'il n'y as pas de climatisation et a noté aussi que la plus part des construction de la station date des années 70 donc un peu vétuste

Hotel très familial. Super bon avvueil. Tout le personnel est au petit soin. La cuisine faite "maison" est délicieuse. Les chambres sont propres. L'hotel est retiré de la grande route, donc pas de bruit. 3minutes à pied de la plage et du début des rues pietonnes . Et c'est hotel a un joli jardin où on peut se détendre en buvant un verre...un coin très sympathique et romantique. Que du bien de cet hotel.

I stayed at Magnolia with a friend of mine for 10 days. The rooms are basic but very clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. All staff were really nice and welcoming! Quiet area and close to the beach. Would recommend to anyone and will be def back there again!

Die familiäre Atmosphäre ist wirklich gut, es wird sich um einen gut gekümmert. Der Pool ist sehr gut und selbst zu Hochsaison nicht überfüllt. Die Bar und das Restaurant sind günstig und haben einen einfachen, altmodischen Flair. Das Abendessenbuffet ist für 10 Euro zubuchbar aber ziemlich mager, meist mit einer einzigen richtigen Hauotspeise (Fisch). Die Zimmer sind relativ eng und nicht klimatisiert. Auch wenn das ein Hostel ist und man sein Getränk in Form einer Flasche zum Pool nimmt, wird man vom Personal der Bar (die sich aber Innern um die Ecke im Hotel befindet) verjagt! Das geht nicht! Entweder man bedient richtig oder man lässt es. Das Zimmerservice ist nur bis 12 Uhr vorhanden. Für Langschläfer gibt es also keinerlei Möglichkeit, das Zimmer gereinigt zu bekommen, bevor man zum Strand aufbricht.

Отдыхали семьей в августе, бронировали трехместный номер. Прекрасный отель по очень привлекательной цене. Персонал очень доброжелательный, все гости чувствуют себя как в гостях у родственников. Все необходимое есть в отеле, завтраки и ужины вполне приемлемые, очень вкусная выпечка. Чай и кофе только на завтрак, вечером только в баре, видимо за дополнительную плату. Не поняла почему, но не всем гостям предлагалось на ужин вино, у нас была только вода. Возможно, в первый день мы что-то не поняли, т.к. плохо знаем испанский, а персонал на кухне не особо понимает английский, постеснялись выяснить подробно насчет вина. Зонтики и коврики для пляжа здорово выручали, днем на пляже очень жарко. Уборка в номере и смена полотенец каждый день. Вечером можно поесть в гостинице, повар готовит национальные блюда, в баре готовят коктейли, есть мороженое. Номер у нас был на последнем этаже, из окна красивый вид на море и окрестности. Несмотря на отсутствие кондиционера, при открытом окне ночью спать было не жарко, правда, просыпались под крик чаек и кукареканье петухов из окрестных домов, но это даже нам нравилось. Из минусов: нет трехместных номеров с балконом и нам не хватало принтера, нужно было распечатать билеты. Мы довольны отдыхом, смело рекомендую данный отель.

We arrived and were given a tiny box room with no balcony. This hotel has no aircon which means its absolutely unbearable in the heat. There is steep hill to get to it. The pool was always full so we used the nearby rosamar gardens which saved our holiday. We ate once and weren't impressed. I'm not sure how it gets great reviews. We won't be back

Très bon séjour hôtel agréable .je conseille fortement aux vacanciers de ne rien laisser dans leur voiture si vous la laissez dans la rue, ou bien prenez le parking payant de l hôtel .la dernière nuit de notre séjour notre voiture a été fracturé et on nous a volé pour 300€ .fin de séjour extrêmement désagréable .

Vi kom till hotellet sent onsdag kväll. Gregory tog emot oss, gav oss ett rum och tillagade sen en fantastisk middag med grillade gambas. I baren kan man få mat och dryck så länge det finns gäster i baren. Gregory är fantastisk på fisk och skaldjur, så passa på att beställa några gambas eller ett helt fat med sardiner för en liten peng! Rummet är litet, sängen obekväm och badrummet är i minsta laget, men allt är kliniskt rent överallt och alla som jobbar på hotellet är så otroligt trevliga och service minded så det uppväger allt negativt. Den lilla poolen och poolområdet har enbart eftermiddagssol, men perfekt för att svalka av sig efter en dag på stan eller stranden.

This Hostel has very friendly staff , super breakfast , is clean but basic , Wifi in all rooms, only disturbing thing was is that the Germans have taken over the place, they have been going there many Years and seem to think they own it . No problem if you are German as the staff all speak German too. They were also very loud evenings and very rude to others who they thought did not understand them . And there is no chance to get a room with balcony for this reason.

Hostal Magnolia is a wonderful place to stay with warm and friendly staff who really seemed to go the extra mile to welcome you and make you feel at home. Clean, comfortable accommodation; good, traditional cooking and wine is available on a half-board basis. Great to have access to a pleasant garden and small, but perfectly adequate, pool. Big thanks to all the lovely staff for their hospitality, especially Conchi, Bienvenida and Gregorio. For excellent value for money this place is tops!

If you want a break from the UK in a Hotel with little fuss, excellent staff who make you feel welcome, comfortable and not cost the earth I recommend you take a look at Magnolia. Yes, the rooms are a little dated and do not have Air Conditioning but they are clean comfortable and adequate to make life a little easier. The shower is HOT too !! They have outside shutters to keep the rooms really dark and not wake you up too early from the morning sun. The Hotel is situated about 1 minute walk to shops, restaurants, beach and the main thoroughfare to catch a coach to Barcelona etc... but far enough away from the nightlife not to disturb your sleep with the noise or drunken holidaymakers!! If you want to go to the nightclubs its about a 15 minute walk at the other end of the beach. Breakfast is self service and has the usual range and you can have fried eggs, small sausages and omelette cooked to order. It has a pool and sunbeds which we used daily and there was always a space. Holiday makers come back to this Hotel on a regular basis and I can see why. We would return to this Hotel if we went back to Lloret.

The Magnolia is everything you would want in a budget hotel, yes the furniture might be a little dated and there is no air conditioning or many balconies, but the important things are there. The place is clean and tidy, bed comfortable and the shower powerful and the staff cannot do enough to help you. We turned up late due to problems with the transfer so they starting cooking our dinner at 9.30pm. When I asked for the best way to Barcelona I was shown bus time tables, the tickets were booked for me and I was shown on maps both were to get on nearest the hotel and where we would be dropped off in Barcelona. On our last day we were allowed to use the staff showers as we had to check out at 11 but didn't get picked up until 14.20 so it meant we could still have a morning on the beach. We had a lovely holiday there and would happily go again and recommend it to others.

Eine wunderschöne und familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir bedanken uns bei allen, die für uns immer da waren.

Unsere Ankunft war zuerst schockierend. Wenn man das erwartet, was auf den Bildern zu sehen ist wird man enttäuscht. Wir haben in unseren Ferien beide Zimmer mahl besetzt. Anfangs kamen wir in ein nicht Raucherzimmer. In unserer Reservation hatten wir aber ein Rauchzimmer gewünscht. Dort geht man jedoch nach dem Motto :" Wer zuerst kommt, bekommt es". Das nicht Raucherzimmer ist sehr klein und etwas unkomfortabel. Nach der Reklamation bekamen wir ein Raucherzimmer, als eins frei wurde. Dieses Zimmer war schon schöner und komfortabel. Das Morgenessen ist nicht schlecht aber auch nicht gut. Der Orangensaft und die Milch bestehen beide aus Pulver aufgerührt mit Wasser. Der Pool ist nicht wirklich so gross wie er auf dem Bild erscheint. Die Liegestühle sind ebenfalls auf 12 Stück beschränkt und die Privatsphäre ist nicht wirklich vertreten, da direkt neben dem Pool das aussen Restaurant ist. Das Positive an unserem Aufenthalt war die sehr freundliche Bedienung und die Terrasse beim Raucherzimmer.

Total nettes Ambiente,Stammgäste die über viele Jahre kommen.Hier hat man das Gefühl angekommen zu sein,von der ersten Minute an.

The owner and her daughter are outstanding. The breakfast staff and the maids work hard and are also friendly. The budget rooms do not have a balcony. They are clean and small with good WiFi and a good TV w/ a large assortment of channels. The bar area and the smallish pool and pool area are very clean and pretty nice. My bed was pretty small. Consider paying a little more for a balcony and a larger bed. It is a short walk to the beach. A nice grocery store is only 50M uphill. A bus to Barcelona and Barcelona airport departs from a strop only 150M away. This is not a luxury hotel but a well maintained older, modest hotel. A good hotel at a great value. I enjoyed my five night stay. Thanks! I will be back.

on arriving very late we received a warm welcome. nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff from the beginning of our trip to the end. as I go abroad frequently I will definitely go back there to the hostel magnolia
