Die Straße ist ab 06 Uhr recht laut, hinzukommen die Busse die am Morgen „warm laufen“. Nachts war es ruhig, kaum Verkehr auf der Straße.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Bedden zijn massagebedden waarmee je op verschillende manieren gemasseerd kan worden. Heerlijk vlak voor het slapen gaan. Dit hotel is een uitstekende startplaats voor fietstochten langs de Donau. Veel parkeerplaatsen en e- oplader naast het hotel.

Nebyli jsme ubytováni v hotelu Donauhof, prý bylo obsazeno, ale 2 km vzdáleném hotelu Landhotel Wachau, kde nebyla večer možnost se ani najíst ani napít, pokud jsme si nechtěli koupit něco z automatu. Chtěli jsme navštívit oslavy letního slunovratu ve Spitzu, nechtěli jsme se vázat na auto, proto původní místo v Emmersdorfu, kde je vlaková zastávka. Jako satisfakci jsme dostali při odjezdu sklenku marmelády, ale původní plány nám to bohužel nevynahradilo.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Csodás környezetben a Duna parton helyezkedik el a szálloda. Már másodszor jártunk itt, igaz most csak 1 éjszakára. Nagyon szíves vendéglátás, nagyon tiszta szoba, masszírozós ágy! Az egész szálloda és környezete csodás . Csak ajánlani tudom a wachauba kirándulók számára.
Olyan nem volt.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025Beim Frühstück gab es in Plastik abgepackten Scheibenkäse. Aus dem Samowar kam nur ein Rinnsal an heißem Wasser. Die Chefin erklärte, dass es an einem Kalkstein im Ausguss läge. Das Problem war also bekannt, wurde aber nicht gelöst. Der Frühstücksraum war mit mehreren großen Gruppen so belegt und es gab nur wenige kleine Tische, dass wir mit Fremden zusammen am Tisch saßen. Für die Reparatur des Safes wurde mehr als ein halber Tag benötigt. Beim Check-out wollte die Chefin die bereits durch Booking abgebuchte Summe nochmals erheben. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2025If you’re planning to visit Melk Abbey, be aware that Hotel Donauhof is not within walking distance—you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs about €16 each way. Alternatively, there's a bus that runs only once per hour. The hotel provides no in-room amenities—not even, tea or bottled water—and there is no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in the warmer months after June. There are no activity area around the hotel, with no restaurants nearby except the hotel’s own. During our stay, the elevator was out of order, and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. If you're visiting Melk Abbey, I would recommend staying in Melk itself. You'll find similar or lower prices, access to a charming small town, and several dining options within walking distance.

I really like that you get music in the bathroom. Reviewed Aug 26, 2020Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel, gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Chefin etwas unfreundlich, was der Oberkellner mit seiner freundlich-lustigen Art aber wieder ausgeglichen hat. Zimmer sauber, ruhig und gut verdunkelbar. Massagefunktion der Betten großartig! Einziges Manko: Am Nachmittag, als alle bei Regenanbruch nach Hause kamen und duschten, wechselte das Wasser immer zwischen kalt und heiß. Das sollte bei einem 4-Sterne-Betrieb wirklich nicht vorkommen! Das Problem trat am nächsten Vormittag nicht mehr auf. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist zu empfehlen; am Abend kommen auch externe Gäste zum Essen in den schönen Gastgarten.
