Alot of building work going on throughout the day. Some of the furnishings a little dated and.tatty. some parts of the resort were falling apart.

Good location and staff was very friendly

Service was excellent. We got picked up at the pier which was nice. I left my swimsuit and they delivered it to the check in counter which is closer to the pier so it saved us time.

The location is just beside the pier. Those regular hour boats honk a lot to remind people to get on board quickly. It's very annoying. Luckily, after 6.30 pm, no more boats are coming. Also, there is busy traffic on sea as big boats try to load daily supplies to the island. All the boats use the pier.

It is a peaceful place to spend time in. No frills just nice seaview and the jetty for the ferry is right next to it. You hear the waves underneath all day all night. You have to like the sound of the sea to appreciate it. Rooms are big and clean, bed is very comfortable and again not frills. WiFi worked great. What I liked most is the convenience of the ferry service to and from Pattaya city. So you have an easy 45 min ferry commute to and from Pattaya for food, shopping and all. The ferry service stops at 6 pm. In the evening the night market steps from the hotel offers seafood fresh from the sea at very good prices. This is not to be missed. There are other restaurants in Koh Larn but I prefer to eat in Pattaya City with more choices. One important note is when you book the rooms make sure that it is for the rooms or suites by the sea. There are other rooms further inland and the booking site do not differrentiate between them.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to after seeing some of the previous ones for this place that were totally over dramatic and nitpicky. This place is beautiful and has soul. The manager is very kind & speaks multiple languages (Inc. English & Chinese). The room itself was right on the water, with sun beds and the most amazing view. They offer fishing rods at the reception if you want to try fishing while staying as well. The amenities are good, the only issue was the lack of TV channels to flick through, but this will be the least of your worries. Does the property need some freshening up? Yes. But it’s not mouldy, or damp, or anything of the sort. The sheets were comfortable, and the room was well air conditioned. The property itself has lots of little places to sit, with ocean views, hammocks, etc. Around the property is the main village, with a 24-hour 7-Eleven right behind. I would highly recommend checking out the Wat Mai Samraan temple only a two minute walk from the hotel, with a local market right next to it. The breakfast was good. Asian-style western with eggs, sausage, ham & a selection of toast, coffee/tea, and fruit juice. They also offer porridge as an option. It was delicious! The staff are lovely & try to be accommodating. They don’t speak good English, if any at all, and some struggle to read translations, but they are super sweet, polite, & take time to try to understand! Overall, a very enjoyable stay✨ would recommend!

The only issue I had with the property was the proximity to the dock. It’s great for getting on-off the island, but there is some noise from the ferry up until around 6-7pm. If you can ignore it like I did, then relaxing on the terrace by the ocean is amazing.

Love our house location. So clean and cute. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Everything was walkable but can be hard at times when busy due to all the scooter and cars. This is not the resort’s fault. Highly recommend the resort and would stay there again.

First off, the staff was very kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. Sadly the room was dirty. There was what looked like dirty water spots on the mirror in the room, and the showers were full of mold spots. I know this isn’t the US, but there must be some kind of health code in Thailand. If there was, then this bathroom would’ve had the place shut down. For the money, sure, but you get what you pay for.

Actually the feedbacks are all true. The hotel owners are very nice, if you book the sea view room (suite is very much an overkill :). You hear everything from the neighbors, bathroom is like in camping. The house is close to harbour where the ships are honking all the day. The breakfast is really lowest level without any service quality. For the price you pay you get a nice apartment with much better breakfast in bangkok. All in all, it depends on the guest expectations. Nice camping place at the sea, close to restaurants and shops. Do not buy the breakfast, go in a restaurant with better quality. I would not book anymore, but it depends how and where you want to live.

Very nice ocean's view and beautiful room. Breakfast was tasty. Regarding of facility, there is no laundry.

I booked garden view room because interior looked much better than the sea view rooms BUT the garden view room is 300 meters inland from the location of the hotel! Very very disappointed about this but otherwise good hotel and great staff.

The resort is squeezed between other buildings and there are rental scooters literally everywhere, with bunch of youngsters roaming around. The ferry boat pier to Pattaya is only 20 meters away, which can be considered a pro and a con at the same time. Rooms overlooking the sea are really nice, but other arrangements, such as "garden view", should be avoided. Breakfast is minimal but ok. Cleanliness and functionality of the bathrooms to be improved. Other than that, I would visit again.

We stayed here only one night,we had a room bay view..directly on the water..very nice atmosphere. The room was big and spacious..also if the wall was made by drywall,but I understand..is cheaper. I paid around 2000thb..and the price for the sea view can be acceptable.. but the breakfast is very bad..and I don t recommend this hotel anyone! The coffee was soluble coffee,powder coffee..that is the proof of how bad quality you want to give to your breakfast service and that you are cheap Charlie about this..Also if customers spend good money...furthermore also the milk was in powder,I went to 7 eleven to buy a small one You could choose for the breakfast between 2 menù..one Asian and the other for foreign people...Didn t have any cheese even if only for put in the omelette...and nothing sweet like a cake..nothing. So definitely a STINGY BREAKFAST

First Manager and staff great, location perfect for restaurants , cafe and clothes shopping . Can rent a moto for 24 hrs 250 bht to get to beaches, fishing at pier next door available . Hotel has character . Rooms great and clean . Will come here again . Made a huge mistake by booking stay at hotel Xanadu on beach to be totally stuffed around re check in . Would have been better staying here and getting to swimming beaches on moto . There is a market 5mins walk offering freshly cooked seafood , chicken , fried rice and fresh juice . Do yourself a favour and stay here

Location convenient to shops and night life, over the water room A05 is large and featured a sofa, day bed and double bed. Colorful outdoor sala features lounging mats ideal for a cocktail. Outside terrace has view of Jomtien.

I booked a "deluxe sea view" room but when I checked in early (midday) the manager conned me into taking a room whose view was anything but deluxe. She said she was giving me a free upgrade on my booked room, which wouldn't be available until 2pm and was some distance away. When I checked that other room later it was only a 5-min walk away and the view would've been spectacular. My "deluxe" view looked straight out to the neighbouring resort. I also paid an extra 300 baht for 2 breakfasts (only used one). It was awful, with the usual Thai plastic ham, frankfurters etc - and fried eggs. I asked to change to scrambled eggs and the staff refused, saying "you can only have what is offered - we don't have the materials to make scrambled eggs"! What nonsense. You only need a fork.

Well this small hotel is next door to the harbour and ferry terminal on Koh Larn. There is a fair bit of boat traffic from the quayside - and yes they do sound the boat hooter just before they leave, so it can be noisy. But that all seems to stop about 6pm when the last of the ferries finish. it seems to start again about 7am in the morning. Its fun to watch the masses of people rushing toward the boats and if people watching is your thing this is definitely the place to stay. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Jomtien sweet (their spelling) this is a large room with a outside patio area with 2 sun loungers. absolutely perfect. I see some people have stayed in another building which is not close to the quayside so I think we were lucky. The room itself was nice, very Thai style and a little 'Rustic' in places but was perfect for us. Breakfast was nice and set us up for the day. Don't come here thinking it is up to western standards - it's not. But its very nice and relaxing and we had a great time. The staff were very attentive. we rented a motorcycle from them. Just a little tip - we found Thien beach to be the nicest and quietest on the island. We were lucky enough to visit when the Corona virus was in full flow so not to many visitors from a 'certain' country.

They put pictures and calls hotell by the sea, infact they got different hotels inland aswell that they dont mention, so if you book wrong kind of room you are sent up far into the Island, basicly tricking People, weird more didnt mention this... also breakfast is in a share Hotel you have to walk 5-10min to get there.. patethic

This is the biggest surprise we ever had, it’s so beautiful, the room was amazing our deck was on the sea. Everything about this hotel is perfect, the staff are lovely, anything you need they will help you. Next time we visit the island we will always use this hotel. I’m sure there is not a better place to stay.

We stayed in the sea view room. You literally are positioned, above the ocean. Room was basic and comfortable. It a great experience listening to the waves, while drifting off to sleep Food was delicious.

If you are planning to stay a few days in Koh Larn this is where you need to book your stay! Easy access from the pier, groceries 50m away and scooters available for rent at the resort 300 baht per day. Best options seafront room. Staff is helpful, nice and perfect English

何もしない時間を作れる貴重な場所

船が桟橋に近づくにつれて、あっ、あそこだ！とすぐにわかるカラフルなホテルです。着岸してから入り口を探すのに苦労しました。セブンイレブンの脇を入ります。スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーで温かく迎えてくれました。部屋は清潔で何よりもまさに海の上に建っています。フェリーの汽笛、波の音がBGM、日本では見たことのない造りです。デッキのベッドで１日中ぼーっとしていてもあきないだろう素敵なホテルです。もう一泊したいなあと後ろ髪をひかれながら去っていきました。ただし、都会の四つ星、五つ星ホテルとは当然異なります。リゾートといっても高級感はありません。バスタブもありませんし、トイレも当然シャワートイレではありません。レストランでは夕飯の提供もありませんので外に出ていわゆる食堂でタイ料理を食べるしかありません。そこはあらかじめ承知した上で訪れてください。

The hotel advertises some rooms as 'Sea-view' but they are not sea-view. The property has two hotels, a resort and another building approximately 100 meters away. They advertise the 2nd building (100 meters) away as 'sea-view' however there is a building in-front of it. The rooms are also very-small around 200 sq. feet. Pics attached - beware when booking.

Excellent hotel, very handy for the pier. Really comfy bed & delicious breakfast. My room was apparently upgraded, but when I opened the drapes onto the balcony all I got was a view of another hotels stairs, no nice view of Pattaya or City view.

Nydelig hotell rett ved kaia i Koh Larn. Vi bodde i suite nr 6 med praktfull veranda rett ut i sjøen med nydelig utsikt. Det var spisebord og stoler + 2 solsenger, som var deilig etter en lang dag på stranda. Serviceminded betjening på hotellet. Som også snakker engelsk. Gir gode reisetips og er alltid hyggelige. Continental breakfast inkludert i prisen. Og renhold hver dag på rommet med rene håndklær og sengetøy. Strandhånklær får man hver dag i resepsjonen. Hotellet ligger et steinkast fra byens sjarmerende små spisesteder og butikker. Stille og rolig om kvelden. Vi kommer tilbake! Dette er et paradis!!

I've lived in Pattaya for many years but this is only my second time on Koh Larn. I came with my parents and stayed overnight at the Lareena Resort. The staff was very helpful, it's very close to the port (which is convenient if you have luggage), the breakfast was pretty typical for Thai-style "American", and I loved the rooms. Good air-con, lots of natural light, beautiful view of the water and ships coming in from your porch (each room has its own), and there's a little area next to where we stayed that had lapping waves sound all night, which I found really charming. There is only breakfast served, but it's easy enough to go somewhere nearby for food. Close to 7-11 and coffee shops as well.

Very nice quiet and clean hotel. It is right off the dock where you take the ferry from pattaya which is convenient. Has porches right on the water, my girlfriend enjoyed it a lot. Island is small Can rent a motor bike and get anywhere on island within 10 minutes

If you are looking for a great getaway from Pattaya we recommend taking the local ferry over to Koh Larn Island. And, when you are looking for a place to stay in Koh Larn we recommend staying at the Lareena Resort. This Resort has the best convenience next to the ferry pier. Only a 2 minute walk with luggage :) Then, while staying at the Resort, don't downgrade to a regular room, upgrade to an ocean view, back to Pattaya, while sitting on your own patio deck. We checked in with Pat, a very friendly and wonderful person, who is very friendly, personable, and a great person who wants to see you happy at her Resort. The room itself is very clean, comfortable, great price, and beautifully decorated in contemporary style with nice bed linens and decorations. There is great WIFI, water upon arrival, and television with all the local channels. You can also rent scooters at the front desk to tour the island. Very convenient :) We couldn't say anything negative abut the Resort and would definitely recommend to family or friends and would for sure stay again if returning to visit. Thank you Lareena Resort for such a wonderful and memorable stay at your Resort. We look forward to coming back and seeing all your friendly faces again :)
