Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Location opposite the train station and at the beginning of the "Promenade" is great. The room was comfortable, big, with excellent bed and shower. The food for breakfast and dinner was good.
We had to hurry to the concert at 7.30 because the service at dinner was slow and they brought us the wrong menu first. This happened even though we appeared on time at the recommended 6 pm.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026La chambre était parfait, agréable, grand, balcon sympa. Le déjeuner, selon mon ami, très simple, pas beaucoup de choix. L'emplacement est TOP si on veut se trouver au centre de Gstaad.
Le minibar est très peu fourni, je regrette l'époque où on pouvait trouver un peu de tout dans le minibar et le payer lors du départ, mais je comprends les réflexions économiques.

No air condition at the room. We were in Gstaad in July. Wheather was hot. I think also hotel needs to be renovated. Breakfast is poor. Lots of flies and mosquitos in the breakfast hall. We couldnt enjoy the breakfast

Poolwasser war extrem kalt. Niemand der Gäste wollte schwimmen gehen. Um den Pool nicht genügend Platz zum liegen, da keine Stühle. Es hat nur eine Lougne wo alle sich hinsetzten müssen. Schwierig bei 2 familien mit Kindern. Dampfbad war nicht an. Im allgemeinen sehr kaale Atmosphäre im Spa-bereich. Frühstück bescheidene Auswahl.

Not only are they highly professional, but they genuinely care about your experience, making sure you feel happy both in the hotel and while exploring Gstaad. We stayed for two nights and felt wonderfully looked after throughout our stay. The breakfast features top-quality Swiss products and is a real highlight. A special thank you to the General Manager, François, who personally assisted us in organizing a beautiful bike tour — an unforgettable experience. Everyone at the hotel, from the waiters and technicians to the reception team and management, showed genuine care and attention. Overall, a perfect 10/10. If you are in Gstaad, Berner Swiss Quality Hotel is definitely the place to stay..

They have two types of staff (reception), the very well trained well acting with a fantastic attitude that goes beyond a hotel of the sort and the extremely rude ones who when asking for a connector or inquiring anything, become rather rude and annoyed.
