Breakfast was exceptionnal. People were so helpful and friendly. The only comment for improvement: the beds were on wheels and moving a lot. The bed size was small and the bed sheets don't stay in place.... Easier access to water during the day to fill our bottles would be nice. The employees were just marvellous in directions, suggestions, reservations...

The air conditioning in the rooms was very poor.. We were given a temporary fan to use, but had to change rooms because it was so hot. In our 2nd room, which was on the non-sunny side of the building, the air temperature was barely tolerable even when set to the coolest temperature but we stayed because it was paid up front. The air temperature in the gym was also too hot to exercise in, even when set to maximum. The location was very close to a nearby drug clinic, so there was a always several associated people hanging in the area, often displaying erratic behaviour, despite permanent security staff within the vicinity

Perfect hotel for our 3 day visit with a convenient location not far from La Rambla. Our room was plenty big enough and was spotlessly clean. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. We thought the breakfast was fantastic - all beautifully cooked and presented with a huge choice to suit all tastes, which set us up well for the day! The reception staff were wonderful and so friendly. I loved the fact that they were so encouraging when I tried to speak in Spanish. This really boosted my confidence and now I just want to learn more!

The price of beer at the bar by the plunge pool was quite high.

Excellent and modern rooms. Everything is clean, the people are very friendly and have many facilities that you can enjoy during your stay, such as a large terrace, a coworking and a comfortable lobby. The location is amazing, close to the main tourist spots.

Die Terrasse in unserem Zimmer, das wir mit einem kleinen Aufpreis erhalten haben, war super da wir eine eigene Außendusche hatten. Das Pooldeck im elften Stock hatte eine geniale Aussicht über Barcelona - in der Früh und am Abend sehr chillig! Wir hatt3n die Möglichkeit nach Check-Out mit einer extra Zugangskarte das Pooldeck weiterhin zu verwenden - sehr angenehm!

The staff is nice and helpful, the rooms are clean and spatious, and the rooftop terrace with the pool overlooking the city is something that definitely sets this hotel apart.

Everything was ok, just the adjacent neighbourhood can be a bit shady at night, but nothing alarming. The location is great and very quickly and easily you enter the nicer and safer areas of Barcelona.

Such an amazing hotel! Hotel staff were very helpful, reception was open 24/7 which was nice and you need a key card to get into the building which made us feel very safe. Rooftop pool was 10/10 such a nice space and kept very clean.

Wir waren rundum begeistert! Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar: Die Rambla sowie U-Bahn- und Busstationen liegen direkt vor der Tür mit ein paar Gehminuten. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und der gemütliche Innenhof lädt zum entspannten Start in den Tag ein. Ein großes Lob gilt dem Personal alle waren überaus höflich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.Ein echtes Highlight ist die wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Pool, die besonders am Abend einen atemberaubenden Blick über das beleuchtete Barcelona bietet.Ein toller Pluspunkt beim Check-out: Man erhält eine Chipkarte für den Keller, wo man sein Gepäck in Spinden mit eigenem Code sicher verstauen und vor der Abreise flexibel wieder abholen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Was uns wirklich gefehlt hat war eine Klobürste bei der Toilette im Zimmer,aber aus Sicht vieler Hoteliers gelten Klobürsten als unhygienische Keimschleudern(Hygiene-Bedenken). Ein guter Tipp: legt einfach vorher ein paar Klopapierblätter rein.

Dark corridors (black walls) were Claustrophobic and stuffy. Payment of rooms goes against booking.com own policy (ie pay hotel direct via bank transfer). This alerted me to fraud. In this case legitimate but if the hotel, or your account is hacked then beware!!! My friend lost £8k in a similar scam. The hotel really should ask for payment via booking.com rather than bank transfer.

Das Personal war freundlich. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig eingerichtet und eher großzügig geschnitten. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer, was sich als zwei Doppelzimmer am Ende des Ganges mit einer zusätzlichen Außentür herausstellte. Den Kindern hat es gefallen ein eigenes Zimmer für sich zu haben. Wir hatten anfangs Probleme mit der Klimaanlage im "Kinderzimmer" und es roch etwas eigenartig. Wir haben das gemeldet und uns wurde daraufhin ein Zimmerwechsel angeboten, da sie das Problem nicht gleich lösen konnten - das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Danach hat alles gepasst. Der Pool am Dach ist zwar nicht sehr groß und tief (90 cm), die Aussicht ist dafür aber wirklich fantastisch.

Das Hotel liegt gleich in der Nähe der Rambla und der Hafen ist nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Leider war es teilweise sehr schmutzig im Bereich vor dem Hotel und man fühlte sich nicht immer völlig sicher. Das Hotel an sich kann man jedoch ohnehin nur mit Hotelkarte bzw. mit Klingeln betreten. Im Hotel selbst war alles in Ordnung.

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel! Very close to the centre and about a 5-10 minute walk from the metros. Super view at the top where the pool area is! Also we were able to store our bags there and still explore on our last day which helped us a lot!

La posizione è comoda e ben servita dai trasporti. La colazione è ricca e offre un’ampia scelta, dal dolce al salato. Lo staff è molto accogliente e gentile.

L'umidità eccessiva nelle camere, non si asciugano i costumi e gli asciugamani. L'hotel si trova accanto ad un centro di assistenza sanitaria che ha determinato la presenza costante di persone senza fissa dimora e persone in evidente stato di alterazione, una situazione che può risultare poco rassicurante. È comunque una caratteristica che abbiamo riscontrato in diverse zone di Barcellona, non necessariamente legata alla struttura.

La colazione era molto buona, e anche Francesca dello staff è stata molto disponibile, gentile e ha cercato in tutti i modi di aiutarmi. Ho molto apprezzato il suo impegno e la sua assistenza che hanno fatto davvero la differenza per me in questo soggiorno.

La mia doccia aveva un problema che in cinque giorni non sono stati in grado di sistemare, nonostante la receptionist Francesca (mitica) abbia cercato in tutti i modi di sollecitare e aiutarmi. La "palestra" davvero vergognosa: non si può definire tale, 4 macchine mal tenute e messe lì non può considerarsi nel filtro "gym" o chiamarsi "fitness center". Se come me siete persone che scelgono l'hotel anche in base alla palestra, valutate altro. La pulizia delle stanze era sommaria, spesso ho trovato il lavandino sporco anche dopo che erano passati a sistemare la camera.

Posizione Ottima !! Parcheggio auto disponibile al coperto, staff Gentile e disponibile. Anche la piscina e’ un plus non da poco ( si gode una vista pazzesca ).

The room was spacious, the staff was so helpful and the roof top pool was an added treat to cool down and relax each afternoon before heading out for the evening. The pool bar was very reasonably priced. Close to the metro and the main shopping street for food and drinks. Convenient shop and cafe just next door for snacks and coffees.

The only negative was it was about a 25 min walk to the beach area, but this was a lovely walk and would not change us booking again.

Excellent staff, great service, pleasant and comfortable rooms. We arrived at 7:30 am after a long flight from the USA. The staff (Francesca, especially) greeted us and, despite a normal 3:00 pm checkin time, were able to put us into our room by 9:00 am. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is very nice and close to the port, although the neighborhood feels a bit sketchy.

There is no fridge or any other room facility. The hairdryer gets extremely hot and switches off after only 2–3 minutes of use. The windows cannot be opened because they are covered with shutters.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like. We only stayed over for one night before our cruise.

Had a four night stay here with my seven year-old daughter and niece. We had a family room at the front of the hotel on floor two. First impressions were quite positive, staff were polite and courteous and allowed us to store our cases in the luggage storage on the floor below, which meant we could go and explore the city before we got into our room (we arrived early!) Only two small lifts which was slightly inconvenient, but you never really had to wait long for them to arrive. Our room was perfectly adequate in size, first impression was that the room was clean but we did find that the flooring was incredibly dusty and found everything we put on the floor had quite a thick layer of dust on it when moved. The room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle or coffee making facility and small fridge. A fridge would’ve been ideal for us as often we like to just take snacks to the room in the evening after a long day. The bathroom lacked privacy. The sink was completely exposed to whoever was in the bedroom and the only thing separating the room from the toilet and bath was a type of shower screen meaning that you could see the individual inside - not particularly pleasant when you need to go to the toilet! Also just a couple of paper cups were supplied. Other than that, the room was modern and the beds were comfortable. We were also given pool towels to use. We did not have breakfast so are unable to comment on this. The reception area are vending machines and nice comfortable area to sit in. The rooftop pool was a lovely added bonus, but be aware that it is not as large as it appears on photographs. In fact, it is very small. The views are absolutely gorgeous and the area is completely uncluttered and clean. It was lovely to go to for a late afternoon dip to cool down. The bar which was a couple of steps down from the pool was attended by a polite barman and the prices were completely reasonable. In fact, it was cheaper than a lot of places along Las Ramblas. One afternoon when I went up there with my daughter there was quite a large stag party of Welsh guys - can’t complain as they were very polite and not causing any issues but I thought it was far too many people to allow to stay in one group as they took up the entire pool. Maybe they should rethink their group booking policy especially as this is a hotel which accepts children as well. The area which the hotel is situated is incredibly central and only a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas or a 15 minute walk to the harbour. The area is a little bit seedy and I would be very conscious of that, especially if you are travelling on your own. We were never back at the hotel much later than 10 o’clock after dinner and fortunately with it being summer it was still light. I did notice there was an Indian restaurant next door to the hotel and the owners didn’t seem to mind kicking rubbish across the street. This is something else that you need to be aware of the place is quite grimy and smelly. Good security on the door with needing your key card to open it and also to access the lift. Would I stay here again? Yeah, probably would! But it would be for the location being central and the fact I felt quite safe inside the hotel.

Die Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Zimmern war ungewöhnlich hoch, Badesachen sind über Nacht nicht gut getrocknet und das Bett war morgens klamm.

Die Lage und der Ausblick vom Pool waren grandios.

Reinigung sollte das Hotel überprüfen. Schwarze Fliesen sind schwierig, ja, aber auch der Teppich hatte Flecken und Fussel, es war nicht wahnsinnig schlimm, aber wenn das nicht ordentlich gemacht wird, dann kostet es das Hotel unnötig Geld für Instandhaltung. Mini Kühlschrank wäre toll, aber passt wahrscheinlich nicht in das grüne Konzept...

I regret booking a four-night stay at the Andante Hotel and would certainly not choose to stay here again. From the moment I arrived, the surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe. My safety concerns were validated when I witnessed the police chasing down a pickpocket just a short distance from the hotel entrance. The interior of the hotel is equally uninviting. The design is incredibly dark, particularly in the corridors and bathrooms. While management attributes this to their energy-saving policy, this environmental stance feels contradictory and hypocritical; the staff replaced my towels every single day, completely ignoring the fact that I hung them up to reuse as requested. Additionally, a strange, persistent odor lingers throughout the entire property. The rooms themselves are bare, industrial, and entirely lacking in warmth or comfort. Essential basic amenities are missing, as there are no in-room mini-fridges, kettles, or coffee and tea-making facilities. To top off a highly disappointing experience, the staff member who handled my checkout was unnecessarily sarcastic and rude. This stay had a genuinely negative impact on my vacation, and I would strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere.

Very nice hotel. Well worth an upgrade to the deluxe rooms. The location is great for the centre and the beach. Our stay was short we will definitely go back. Very helpful staff - a very enjoyable stay!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Really good breakfast buffet, many things to choose from. Would choose to go there again next time I visit Barcelona. Also not far from cruise port, so easy walk when taxi and uber refuse to take you due to bad traffic.

A zona é um pouco manhosa, ainda que não tenha tido qualquer problema e não tenha visto qualquer situação, existem muitos "novos engenheiros" na zona e, por exemplo, num dos dias, o ambiente numa loja de proximidade onde fui comprar umas garrafas de água era um pouco assustador...
