The location is absolutely perfect, right beside the arena and walking distance to everything. Lots of really good restaurants right beside it. The staff were really friendly and helpful and just genuinely warm and welcoming. I travelled with a 2 year old and an 11 year old and felt really in the hotel and the location. The staff kindly offered to keep my child’s stroller at reception to make things easier for me.

Sehr schönes Hotel, wir hatten ein großes, schönes Zimmer. Für das Frühstück holen sie morgens bei der ältesten Bäckerei von Nimes die Backwaren. Das waren die besten unserer zweiwöchigen Reise durch die Region. Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Auch die Lage ist perfekt.

Accueil très attentionné, hôtel charmant à quelques pas des Arènes de Nîmes, du Musée de la Romanité et de plusieurs restaurants et terrasses, très bon petit-déjeuner. On m'a offert un plan de la ville et on a gardé mon bagage à la réception pendant que je visitais la ville.

L'absence d'ascenseur se fait rapidement oublier par la qualité de l'endroit. La personne a l'accueil a proposé de monter mon sac à la chambre.

Die Leute waren unglaublich nett und extrem zuvorkommend. Wir konten die Fahrräder einstellen und auch am Abreisetag noch bis 16Uhr dort lassen. Das Zimmer ist ausgesprochen schön.

Tolles kleines Hotel. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Lage ist toll mitten in der Stadt, direkt an der Arena. Nur an einem Abend etwas laut. Aber das bringt die Lage mit sich. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und alles da, was man braucht.

Très belle chambre dans 1 bâtiment datant du XVIIème sièclw, très bon petit déjeuner et à côté des sites historiques. Personnel très sympathique.

Such a beautiful hotel in the heart of Nimes, dating from 16th/17th century. We had a beautiful room with a balcony. It was gorgeous. The breakfast was delicious with croissants and brioche from the nearby bakery. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, but above all of that was the tremendous advice and support from Olivier and his twin brother. Exceptional service. 10 stars. No, 100 stars. We loved our stay in this hotel. We hope to visit again one day, perhaps to see The Cure in the amphitheatre.

Zentral gelegen, wirklich sehr freundliche und hilfreiche Hotelbesitzer, schöne Zimmer.

Personnel très accueillant et arrangeant. Je suis arrivé 2h avant l’heure normale de mise à disposition des chambres et tout à été fait pour que ma chambre soit prête dans les 15min.

Het buitengewoon vriendelijk onthaal. Ze doen werkelijk al het mogelijke om de gasten tevreden te stellen. De kamer was ook helemaal in orde, heel netjes, met airconditioning, douchegel, shampoo en zelfs met mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te drinken op de kamer. Ik heb elke nacht heerlijk geslapen in een uitstekend bed, het kon niet beter zijn! 🙂

Een klein minpuntje zou het ontbreken van een lift kunnen zijn maar voor mij was dit niet zo van belang. De trappen zijn heel mooi en breed met mooie zachte tapijten, heel aangenaam om op te lopen. Er zijn trouwens niet veel verdiepingen en er wordt direct hulp aangeboden om valiezen of zakken naar boven te dragen 🙂.

Small family run hotel, right in the middle of the old town. The brothers were extremely helpful, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful building! Tastefully decorated room, Clean and comfortable despite it being 39c outside! The view from our room was lovely. The service and staff were what truly makes this place special. They were so accommodating and friendly. They had amazing local recommendations and took such good care of us

Excellent location on a quiet street but right in the middle of the old town. Olivier was extremely welcoming and helpful, recommending resturants that we wouldn't have found otherwise. The breakfast is very good.

No lift so you have to use the stairs. Shower over the bath so people with mobility difficulties might struggle a little.

Hôtel idéalement situé, à côté des arènes et en plein centre ville, au calme, avec beaucoup de caractère. Accueil incroyable : nos hôteliers sont aux petits soins et prévenants. La chambre était grande, climatisée, très fonctionnelle et insonorisée. Le petit déjeuner était complet et très bon. Nous avons vraiment été très bien et nous reviendrions bien sûr. Nous recommandons chaleureusement !

Sa proximité immédiate avec le centre histoire et les arènes. Une mention spéciale pour l'extrême gentillesse du personnel. La viennoiserie et le pain frais achetés le matin même est un véritable délice mais surtout une attention des propriétaires qui démontre l'amour du métier ainsi que le respect du client. Merci pour votre accueil.

Hélas, le délire total de la musique de frappadingue diffusée plein pot jusqu'à une heure du matin par le café "Marius", situé juste en dessous de la chambre où nous étions... Comment est ce possible ? Pots de vins à la mairie ?

Everything, really. It's just a very nice, clean and comfortable place in a great location and run by a couple if super guys. It is just off the main tourist area, so calm and quiet but with almost I mediate access to whatever you want.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We’ve arrived late but were offered self check-in which worked perfectly. The room was very comfortable, very clean and had a perfect view, overlooking a lovely little square. I was concerned about the late night noise, but the windows were perfectly insulated and not a sound came through. Perfect spot for a show in the amphitheater and a walk around town.

The building is not the most modern, but it’s kept very well and the rooms are super clean.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. I really liked the interior design which was a little quirky but still contemporary. I was given a room overlooking a very pretty square. The location was also perfect to get out and about in Nimes. Wish I could have stayed for longer

Could have done with more than one towel in the bathroom but I didn’t ask for another. I’m sure I could have got hold of more if I had.

Nous avons passé une nuit à l’hôtel l’amphithéâtre et tout a été parfait. L’hôtel se trouve en centre ville, à deux pas des arènes, très proches de plusieurs monuments et à quelques petites minutes à pied de la gare Nîmes centre. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Olivier, qui a été aux petits soins envers nous et très bienveillant. La chambre dont nous avons bénéficié était très propre, très spacieuse et très lumineuse. La décoration épurée d’époque avec le confort du moderne est un véritable atout. Un immense merci à Olivier et Lionnel. Nous retournerons séjourner dans ces lieux sans hésitation si nous sommes de retour sur Nîmes.

J aurai apprécié pouvoir emporter 1 carafe d'eau fraîche dans ma chambre a l arrivée (en pleine canicule) et avoir de l eau fraîche dans ma gourde au départ (pas de l'eau du robinet) J'aurai aimé avoir quelques recommandations de restaurants / lieux touristiques personnalisés plutôt que regardés sur google map. J'aurai préféré avoir 1 petit dejeuner en libre service plutôt que sur demande/commande, notamment pour les oeufs le café et les viennoiseries Surclassement a l'arrivée avec baignoire plutot que douche Concernant l'isolation phonique elle reste limitée. Si le quartier est assez calme en hiver, l'été c est plus animé... J'aurai aimé en être avertie (en particulier pour la fête de la musique!). Enfin, l établissement ne possède pas d'ascenseur

A really rustic old building owned by three friendly and helpful brothers. The location next to Les Arenes and cafes and shops was 30metres.

Super Lage , tolles Ambiente, netter Gastgeber, Frühstück wird alles frisch serviert.

Comfortable room with a decent bed and very good aircon on a very hot day. Good welcome from the staff. Very close to the Arènes, which was the reason for my visit.

Due to what appeared to be a booking mix-up, there was another person in the room I had booked (which came as a surprise to the staff), so I was moved to an inferior room on the third floor (no lift). I was offered plenty of apologies but no recompense for the move to a smaller room with reduced headroom.

Central location, very easy to find, close to everything. Traditional building sympathetically restored. No lift but that wasn't a problem for us. Such a comfortable bed and quality linen, great shower. Olivier and Lionel gave us the most friendly welcome. They paid attention to detail, served a great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely go back, recommend. And Nîmes is a great place!

Booked at short notice due to delayed train resulting in missed connection. Staff were very helpful, arranged taxi to pick me up, and held on until I arrived. Location was very central and room was spotless and comfortable.

2nde fois que je me rends dans cet hôtel. Patrons très aimables, souriants et à l'écoute. Cherchent toujours à nous aider, à trouver des solutions. J'y retournerai sans problème si je dois à nouveau séjourner sur Nîmes. L'hôtel se situe à quelques mètres des arènes, ce qui est top quand vous y allez pour un concert ou manger un bout dans un resto avoisinant. Hôtel bien desservi par la navette qui part du parking de co-voiturage près de l'autoroute. 15 mins à peine de transport.

Léger bémol :Impossible lors de mon séjour de me connecter au WI-FI de l'hôtel. Je pense que le réseau est parfois capricieux. Un des patrons m'a aidé à trouver une solution pour que je puisse accéder au réseau d'une autre manière. Donc je pense que ce n'est pas vraiment un problème car ils ont dû déjà le régler.

Séjour parfait : de l’accueil, la chambre et son confort avec climatisation, aux propositions pour dîner, à l’excellent petit déjeuner avec des œufs brouillés faits à la demande et au départ avec le forfait parking. Le duo des frères fait tout pour ses clients avec une grande gentillesse. Je recommande fortement et y retournerai sans faute au prochain voyage sur Nîmes.

Un endroit magnifique, que ce soit au niveau de l’accueil, du décor, de la gentillesse des hôteliers, de la proximité, des arènes, du centre et de la gare et du confort des chambres.. Un petit déjeuner délicieux et sur demande, on reviendra très certainement.

Tout était parfait ! C'est un charmant hotel situé à deux pas des arènes et à quatre pas de la Maison Carrée, dans une ruelle du Vieux Nîmes, à proximité de plein de restaurants et commerces. Les deux frères qui gèrent cet établissement sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients, à qui ils réservent un accueil personnalisé ! L'hôtel comme les chambres sont d'une propreté irréprochable, joliment décorés. La literie est également confortable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'Amphithéatre.

Olivier the manager of the hotel, was super dedicated, and advises on the best spots, and restaurants. The room was beautiful, as per the picture. A lot of light and taste. The location of the hotel really offer to catch the beauty of the old city center. It is two old building from 17th and 18th century, well maintained and decorated. Perfect for a romantic gateaway. The breakfast was really nice too.

The location was fantastic, the staff were lovely and our room had great a/c and was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is charming, the location is great, right next to the arena. Super clean and well interior designed. Olivier, the manager was extremely welcoming and kind, also full of delicate attentions. We will be back!

L’accueil est top, le petit dej vraiment génial, les chambres vraiment magnifiques.

Un grand Merci pour l'accueil et les conseils. On voit que les patrons aiment leur métier et ont à cœur d'accueillir leurs hôtes dans les meilleures conditions. Le lieu est superbe et garde toute son authenticité tout en bénéficiant d'équipements modernes. L'emplacement face aux arènes et à proximité immédiate du quartier historique et de la gare est idéal. Encore merci pour ce séjour, beaucoup trop court à notre goût. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Really close to the Roman amphitheater of Nîmes. It was really convenient to get back to my room after an evening concert that ended at midnight. I only saw one employee, and he was very friendly and the service was great.

Not much to say here. I guess the only issue would be staying there while there's a concert in the amphitheater and you're trying to sleep. Fortunately, that wasn't the case for me, and the room was pretty quiet. If I can be nitpicky, I wish there were more electrical outlets near the bed, so I could plug in my phone charger without unplugging the lamp.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt! Der Rezeptionist war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit – wirklich top Service. Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel, das Personal generell sehr freundlich. Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut und vielfältig. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen und definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Très bien placé derrière les arènes , en plein centre, La chambre avait beaucoup de charme. Rien à dire niveau propreté. Le personnel est très aimable. Les viennoiseries sont du matin et proviennent de la boulangerie du centre. On vous propose un petit déjeuner sur mesure ( œuf à la coque / cuisson à choisir) . Très bon rapport qualité prix . J’y reviendrai. !
