The room decor was a little dated (but well maintained), the furnishings and fit out made were walnut dark, making the room feel dark and enclosed, sometime to consider come renovation time.

The bedrooms are clean but a bit outdated and musty. We were there on one of the hottest weekends of the year and the roons were extremely hot and made it hard to sleep. No air conditioning but can't really expect that in Ireland 😂

Kamers zijn gedateerd en bril vd toilet zat (nog steeds) los. (Bad)kamer zouden wat opgeknapt mogen worden, maar draait vooral om het restaurant op deze accommodatie.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026The hotel was in a great location for visiting the wider area. East parking. The room was spacious. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely and helpful.
The room was a bit tired and could do with a refurb but still worked for our short stay. There were a lot of dogs barking in the early morning-seems the hound part of the name is linked to greyhound racing and we would see them out the window.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026I loved the staff in the restaurant, it was the first time the restaurant staff was soo helpful... even in the morning on Sun becasue we had a T4 race..the staff got my son a breakfast of first class!!!! Thank you
I rang before arriving and the phone call was awful..and i thought the service was rude....so I didnt know what to think. On a separate note...the toilet flush was slushing all nite long and the dogs were howling too...so no sleep for us...so still food first class!

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit großem Bad, allerdings mit Badewanne. Das Fenster ließ sich trotz hoher Sommertemperaturen nur einen Spalt öffnen. Das Abendessen war vorzüglich, beim Frühstück konnte aus einer umfänglichen Karte bestellt werden. Zahlreiche Parkplätze vorhanden.

The door was very hard to open and when I returned a trip switch had went - no phone in the room to ring reception and I had to go into the hall to charge my mobile to ring. Asked for an extension lead for my phone as the one working plug was other side of the room, and I'm heavily pregnant so would prefer a fully charged phone but one couldn't be found. No apology given

Great food ( both dinner and breakfast were great) They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable putting us in a quieter area of the hotel on the ground floor too as we have a reactive dog.Beds were very comfortable. Clean room. Lovely warm shower too :-)

Номер требует срочного ремонта. Много разных мелочей, таких как: малое количество розеток, просевшие матрацы на кроватях, вода в унитазе текла всё время, двери в ванную комнату не закрывались.
