Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Great location across the street from the canal with all the boats. Plenty of shops, restaurants, etc all within walking distance. The AVEIRO sign for obligatory photos is right across the street. Room was great, especially the balcony. The bar was cozy. Breakfast was good. Maybe a 10-20 minute Bolt/Uber ride to the unique city of Costa Nova where you'll find the houses painted with vertical stripes.
The shower had half a door, which is somewhat normal for some European hotels, but this one was poorly designed so trying to keep water off the floor was an amusing challenge. That wouldn't keep me from staying there again but it's why I didn't give this one a 10.
