HYGGE Corfu

​We booked 3 rooms (two stepped straight out to the pool) for a late-night arrival, and the keys were left in the doors so we could get straight inside. The location is an absolute bargain for a traditional Greek experience—a short, peaceful walk to the beach and main strip while staying nice and quiet. The pool area is fantastic, cleaned daily with plenty of sunbeds, a pool bar open late, and helpful staff on hand. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and filled with fun film-themed pictures (the kids found the "notebook room" hilarious!)..

Couldn't really find anything to write here,​Only things we can think, that didn’t affect our stay at all: a cooker in one room wasn’t working, and a couple of curtains were propped up with books or plastic . Since we didn't plan on cooking and the curtains still worked, it was no problem whatsoever!

Really enjoyed our stay! The pool area was really nice and quiet. The host was very helpful and the cleaner was lovely.

Vicino al centro di sidari, si può andare facilmente a piedi, condizionatore ok, sarebbe da ammodernizzare per evitare le cadute di gocce d acqua in testa

Struttura decadente, cucina orribile, letto imbarazzante, mal di schiena per tutti i giorni di permanenza, molle che fuoriescono dal materasso. Bagno, impronunciabile, dire piccolo sarebbe offensivo per un bagno piccolo, non ci si poteva neanche sedere sul wc, doccia piccola ma ok.

Great location , good value for money. Room cleaned every day and fresh towels.

Could do with an update but still clean and comfortable. The shower in the bathroom could do with a screen rather than a curtain.

The pool area.

The location was very difficult to find. Google Maps did not provide accurate directions, so we had to contact the host and ask them to send us the exact location. The property itself leaves a lot to be desired and is in need of major renovation. It was relatively clean: the bed linen, towels and bathroom were clean. However, there were quite a few problems. Old furniture, broken chairs on the terrace. The toilet would not fill with water. The kitchen stove was an old electric one, and only one of the four burners worked. It took us about an hour just to make coffee. The TV in the kitchen was tiny — about the size of a phone. In the bedrooms, only one of the electrical sockets worked, and an extension cord was plugged into it. Throughout the house, there were some photographs hanging on the walls. We still don't understand what they had to do with the property or its concept. The only thing we really enjoyed was the pool area. The children absolutely loved it. As for Sidari itself, we were not impressed at all. The beach was dirty, and the tourist area is basically one street, with shops on one side and tavernas on the other. After visiting several other beaches and areas of Corfu, we realized that choosing Sidari was a mistake. There are much more interesting and attractive places on the island for tourists. Overall, we still had a good impression of Corfu. After all, we were on holiday and tried to enjoy our time there. However, I would never recommend staying at Hygge Corfu.

Nothing was good other than the location was alright

On arrival the room was filthy, not cleaned at all! Mosquitoes flying all over and dead ones around places. Decor was terrible. Mattresses had mould on them as did the pillows. Towels was dirty as was all the bedding stained beyond belief. The aircon was non existent I could blow colder air!! The aircon was leaking over the bed which no doubt was the cause of the mould and didn’t work not even 5% of efficiency for the entire time we stayed and was never fixed! Immediately on arrival I raised a complaint with booking.com provider and it was also raised with the accommodation Rep who was very rude and intimidating perhaps because he had to do some work! Either way I wouldn’t let my dog stay here and I’m glad I took the photos and videos to show how bad it was, talk about guest house paradiso theirs better accommodation in Kajaki. The pool area wasn’t up to scratch and the only thing I used was a bed and that was so uncomfortable even then I feel I should have walked out but with little to no choice due to other accommodation all booked up!! Oh and the doors had insufficient locks to secure from inside adequately! and the room had no safe at all, yes they did bring one but it’s not secured or bolted down so any insurance is void straight away! I have raised the issue with booking.com and will be also opening a dispute with the money paid with my credit card because what a dump it is and I will not except any excuses off the owner I have the proof needed going forward.

Dejlig rummelig lejlighed i gå-afstand til by og strand. Pool-området var lækkert med mange liggestole både i sol og skygge.

Lejlighederne og inventar er slidt, men det er fint nok til prisen.

La struttura risulta pulita e accogliente. L'host è stato gentile e ci ha fatto trovare tutto ciò che poteva servire nella stanza. Se si vuole girare il nord dell'isola, la posizione è ottima perché ben collegate alle principali città e spiaggie di interesse

Bardzo dobry stosunek ceny do jakości. W cenne jest klimatyzacja, parking, aneks kuchenny i co rzadkie w tej kategorii serwis sprzątający- czyli sprzątanie Plus wymiana ręczników.. Basen zdecydowanie na plus w tej kategorii zakwaterowania. Ogród na prawdę robi ciekawe wrażenie i pozwala się zrelaksować. Nasz pokój był z wiekiem na grządki i kwiaty z daleka od ulicy. Spaliśmy w ciszy i spokoju oraz na twardo. Bardzo dobre materac. Na plus lodówka, meble na balkonie no i kąpiele w basenie kiedy chcesz a leżaki non stop wolne. Pan gospodarz pomocny i rozmowy.

Dalibyśmy 10 ale zlew w łazience był non stop zapchany dodatkowo po pierwszym dniu zwiedzania zastaliśmy klucze w drzwiach oraz brak serwisu w pokoju. Trochę byliśmy zniesmaczeni ponieważ były tam nasze dokumenty. W sytuacji kradzieży mielibyśmy ogromny problem z powrotem do domu na lotnisku. Pani powinna jednak mieć takie klucze na uwadze.

The pool area was very nice and clean. The room felt very privet with an enclosed balcony and privet bathroom. And a cleaner came by every day who was very lovely.

We found it difficult to cook in the property the oven was not very good and there minimal kitchen supplies.

Éjszaka érkeztünk,a kulcsok az ajtóban voltak,a szoba számot megküldék üzenetben. A szállás tiszta volt,a teraszunkról szinte a medencébe létünk. Mivel a főút melett így elég nagy volt a forgalom. A fotók valószínűleg régebben készültek,mint a mostani állapot. Strand és a központ kb 1 km -re volt. De árérték arányban megfelelő volt. Az ágyak kényelmesek voltak.Takarítás minden nap volt, törölközőt kétnaponta cserélték. Az apartmanok és a Studiók elosztása nayon praktikusan lett kialakítva. Azt leszámítva,hogy régebbi kialakításúak elégedettek voltunk.

Very nice host and very responsive to any issues or questions. Plenty space for cars and the apartment itself was big, two separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

For this price you can’t really ask for much.

Everything , it’s had all that we needed beds were comfortable. Pool was great and we actually liked there being no bar on site as it enabled us to buy from the shops and be ordered by dinner time to be ready to go out. The location is also great and is walkable distance to sidari and minutes from the large supermarkets.

The only thing was the walk into town , it was a bit nerve wracking because no pavement. But we soon sorted that niggle out by getting taxis to pick us up and drop us off ( for just €7)

The pool and the surrounding area are very nice, and it’s close to the city center.

The apartment is already old and many appliances need to be replaced with new ones. During our stay, the shower broke, the fridge wasn’t working properly, and many other items were damaged

The apartments were a chalet type of accommodation. A terrace at the front and a large balcony at the back. The pool was a good size, plenty of sunbeds, but not much shade. The room was quite cool. The Kitchen area had a kettle and essentials. There were tavernas nearby, we sampled a couple of them and they were very good.

The general area between the buildings could do with a little tidy, it would improve it a lot. More shades at the pool area, umbrellas etc.

The pool was lovely and Dimitris is the kindest host !Thank you for everything!

it was like a trip in the 80s, but in a bad way. it really needs some update and cleaning, especially in the corners and places you don't look at first sight.

Nice place to stay. Quiet location but near the beach and restaurants.

Definitely the highlight of the place was the host, who recommended us places worth seeing in the area. The pool was great and clean, our stay was very pleasant.

It's hard to think of any issues, but I would mention the mosquitoes. Since it rained a bit during our stay, there were quite a lot of them around. Maybe a mosquito net for the windows would be a solution.

Great location, host was very friendly and gave us great information about the area and where/how to get to places! Cleaned very well every morning with a great pool!

We came from Kavos for only one night and we regretted not booking at this place - hopefully next year! :) Location was amazing, Lefteris was very helpful and kept us informed , showed us the restaurants and things around! We had everything in our room what we needed , bed was very comfy, pool area was clean and amazing! This place is absolutely a gem 💎 highly recommended!

Quiet place with a beautiful green garden and an excellent pool (very clean and well mentained, we loved it). It has that homy greek house vibe, with a lot of shade around. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has all you need. Free, safe parking. There are restaurants, shops and a farmacy close-by.

Maybe some mosquito-repeller device would be a plus, cause there were many annoying mosquitos, although all the windows had a net, they still got in somehow. Our room was on the street side and wasn't very quiet by night, but the reservation was made on such short notice that we were happy to find rooms at all. All in all, it was excellent for what we needed.

Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish we couldn't have asked for better and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again ❤️

Over all very good and worth for the value you pay. We were two families with children and our stay was enjoyable and memorable. The apartments and surrounding garden and the swimming pool are very nice, charming and convenient. What we liked the most is the amazing hospitality of our host, Lefteris, very kind and helpful. We had from the host, many good recommendations of attractions, beaches and restaurants which helped us to plan our stay. Not only that, our host was helping with any needs we had and kept checking with us if everything was OK. Once again, thank you to our great host, Lefteris, that made the difference to make it a remarkable vacation!

The property is located in a good localization - 10 minutes walk to the center of Sidari. There is a big swimming pool available. The apartament was well equipped. The owner of the place is so kind and helpful! He’s willing to give advice of any holiday-related trouble! Highly recommended! :)

The apartment itself is well-appointed and clean, offering all the amenities one could need for a relaxing holiday. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful island. The pool area is well-maintained and provides a serene atmosphere, making it easy to relax and soak up the sun, I can only recommend.

It's a really nice place, the swimming pool looks great and the rooms were tidy and well maintained. The most amazing thing was the host ,Lefteris, he is a treasure. He gave us so many tips for places to visit and even tried to help us with the transportation schedule when we had some troubles. Thank you for everything, HYGGE !

The host was very friendly & waited for us patiently until we arrived (later than planned) that evening. The location was great, and although we booked just one room, we had the entire 2-room house for ourselves. It was easy to find and to park - definitely recommend it!

The pool was lovely and clean, with plenty of sunbeds. The property had two balconies which were pleasant to sit on.

Lefteris was a great host. Hygge is very close to restaurants and supermarkets and ideal for families and group of friends. The room was being cleaned every day. Great choice and value for money.

Very charming host!

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the host was very friendly and helpful.

The connection to the wifi wasn't good at the room we were staying but could connect while at the pool or around the other accommodations.

The pool was cleaned everyday. The setting nice and quiet and not far from sidari and supermarket

Stayed here in 2020 yes it old fashioned but rooms were cleaned properly. The outside has not been maintained needs a good clean up pool toilets were clean before now used as a store cupboard. We had an animal in the roof that woke u up at 6am scratching about

The host Lefteris was excellent! He gave us upgrade and a lot of information for city and island.
