Breakfast was fantastic

Rooms were tiny. Literally could not sit on toilet without hitting my knees on the sink. Very sparse accommodation

We were kart racing so breakfast was too late for us . Cups for tea in rooms had no handles to hold hot cup

The owner was so considerate and helpful. He was very welcoming and couldn't do enough whether it be recommendations or even warming milk for my 2 year old. The breakfast was simple and great with everything made fresh. The setting is lovely with great views and lovely rooms.

A beautiful historic old house in the heart of Thomastown. We had a very comfortable one night stay. Our room had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. We also appreciated being able to check in early to facilitate us getting ready for a wedding

Although rooms are not very big they had everything we needed and it was comfortable.

Not very reliable staff we couldnt reach them immediately upon arrival. Breakfast was not up to standard and not very hygenic.

The host was lovely. The breakfast was exquisite. Great location to see Thomastown and Inistioge.

The mattress was too soft for my back. Screens on the windows would be useful to keep out the river bugs at night.

Very nice place in a peaceful village surrounded by myriad of places to explore, as long as you have a car. The room was functional and comfortable. The breakfast were good and they will accommodate you if you have dietary restrictions - just give a heads-up before booking.

Very comfy bed. Nice space. Liked the seating outside. Nice little coffee and tea area. Host was very friendly and good fun. The shower was great. The room was tidy and clean. Plenty of toiletries and towels.

Not much choice with breakfast although we did love Michael’s granola, coffee and oj. The flush on the loo could have been better. The WiFi was very slow, 3G was quicker.

Should have had the blinds closed prior to arrival, as the window gets full sun till late making it hot. The breakfast room whilst full of interesting items was in need of a clean, and ivy growing through the window. Entrance to the private car park is very tight but passable with care.

Home from home but in a castle & drive in through arch. Michael met us as soon as we drove in. The bedrooms are very comfortable

I had contacted the B&B the day before our arrival to arrange a check in time. I left messages on a mobile and on booking.com, however, they were not replied to so I was a bit concerned as I wanted to check in before heading to a wedding reception. Other than that, the room was lovely and clean with a welcoming host. Good location in Thomastown.

We received a warm welcome. We found it comfortable and clean. A good stopover with a reasonable breakfast.

There was no one around when I arrived and I could not find any main entrance to check in. Rang main number but no answer. So luckily I saw a mobile number written on a window so called that then the owner came out to meet me.

The guy was very friendly, I personally found the room very clean and it was very warm.

The food was very basic, and was Lidl produce. Now, it was okay, but 3 of our party of 4 claimed the sausages were sour. Your choices were Granola & Yogurt, and if you declined that, the only option was "Bacon, eggs and sausages". They were also Lidl sausages, and so was the seasonings. That's perfectly fine, I don't have an issue with Lidl food but for the price paid for accommodation including breakfast, I'd have expected more choices, and quality produce. There was no black or white pudding, no beans, no choice of the way you'd like the egg prepared and the bread was two slices, cut into 8 pieces.

No restaurant open in the town on Wednesday in May

Our ferry was late and we didn't arrive till 0200 so the owner left the key in our door and, a lovely touch, turned our electric blankets on. He arranged a later breakfast following our late arrival but we didn't need it. Breakfast was fantastic with wholesome choices of cooked as well as cereal and juice. Sadly our stay was only one night but we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable and historic place to stay. Thomastown is well worth visiting in its own right.

The location was fine, but bit lacking in eaterys,

No chairs to sit on,coffe machine ,but need to read manual to work! Bedside lights were on touch pad,but no instructions to use,no reading in bed!

Michael the host was very friendly and helpful with everything. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and fresh. Plenty of tea/coffee/water in the room for refreshments and a great blackout blind for sleeping. The rooms are almost motel style with windows looking out onto the river which was a lovely start to the morning and I was delighted that privacy curtains were there for letting light in! Lots of parking in/around the BnB. Breakfast was delicious with a pot of coffee, sourdough toast (with lots of real butter!), granola, yoghurt and of course a cooked breakfast- fabulous!!

The check out time on booking.com said 12, but it’s actually 11am. Also maybe a note or info about when is best to check in would have been helpful as I had to attend a later dinner before arrival and I would have organised myself differently- though it was no issue at all in the end.

Lovely location and very friendly owner who seemed run off their feet. The room was clean and pretty. The bedside lights didn't work, the coffee machine didn't work the water pressure in the shower was poor. Theres a glimpse of the lovely river Nore from the balcony which we liked. I stay here regularly and its usually reliable. Just this time, those little things matter!

El sitio es fascinante bien situado con aparcamiento. El. Desayuno no está mal el trato con el dueño muy bueno y atento

La habitación y el Baño muy pequeño y sobre todo muy frío aunque tienen mantas eléctricas en el colchón pero no es suficiente
