Direkter Meerblick, Affen rundherum, aber auch hörbares Meer nachts, was Schlafprobleme machen kann. Ansonsten eine wunderschöne Unterkunft für ein paar Tage!

we stayed in two different rooms. first night a room 2meters from the reception. we had leakage from the AC unit. so water dropping in the floor all night. difficult to sleep. the second night we had the family room that have much more space and its up to the good standards. the view of both rooms were amazing.

the access to the hotel is a night mare specially if you have luggage.or heavy bags...and eveytime you want to go to the hotel you need to walk up and dow stairs...not convenient not practical

The Korowai is one of those places that makes it very difficult to leave the hotel and actually explore Uluwatu. The setting is absolutely stunning, built into the cliff and overlooking the ocean, with the sound of the waves constantly in the background. Waking up and falling asleep listening to the ocean from my room was probably one of my favourite things about staying here. The whole place feels intimate, secluded and incredibly peaceful. The beach below was particularly special - at a time when so many of Uluwatu’s beaches can feel overcrowded, I was literally alone there. It felt like having my own hidden little beach, and you can also surf right in front of the hotel if that’s your thing. What makes the location even better is that, despite feeling so secluded, you’re very close to one of Uluwatu’s main streets, full of great cafés, restaurants and little shops, while also being perfectly located between two of the area’s main beaches. So you get the feeling of being completely tucked away without actually being far from everything.

Access isn’t the easiest and there are quite a few stairs, but the staff were incredibly helpful and happily took care of carrying my luggage, which was particularly heavy. They made the whole experience much easier and were lovely throughout my stay.

Walk into property is long but to be expected for views. Suggest flexing idle staff for beach cleanup each day, there were towels and trash left for multiple days during our stay.

Vista spettacolare, struttura molto caratteristica e immersa nella natura. Un po’ difficile raggiungerla in quanto situata in cima ad una scogliera e l’ultimo tratto di strada è da fare a piedi. Lo staff però è gentilissimo e l’esperienza vale.

Posizione incredibile, aggrappato alla scogliera e con sotto una spiaggetta graziosa. Villette/capanne integrate nel contesto dove dormire con soltanto il suono dell'oceano! Le scimmiette sono curiose e un po' invadenti ma non danno fastidio. Staff cordiale e facchini portentosi.

Il sentiero non è il massimo ma i facchini sono pronti ad aiutare. La spiaggetta non è privata ma sarebbe carino che togliessero quei (pochi) rifiuti che arrivano dal mare

El personal es encantador. Pudimos hablar con ellos por whatsaapp en todo momento para todo lo que necesitáramos, incluso venir a buscarnos a la entrada del camino por la noche. Sin duda nos hemos sentido muy seguras y cuidadas.

Das Hotel ist sehr cool in den natürlichen Landschaftsverlauf eingebunden, besonders der Blick aufs Meer von unserem Balkon hat uns sehr gefallen. Auch die Äffchen in der Umgebung zu beobachten hatte es uns sehr angetan.

Leider ist es wirklich schlecht zu erreichen, weshalb wir froh waren nur 2 Nächte dort geplant zu haben, denn durch den aufwendigen Weg von Straße zum Hotel wären Ausflüge, auswärts essen gehen etc. sehr mühsam geworden. Insbesondere weil die Küche des Hotels zwar in Ordnung aber definitiv nichts besonderes war.

We loved the location.

We don’t like the attitude of most of the staff- they weren’t very friendly and were often just on their phones vaping. We had just been in ubud with very friendly staff who were polite and happy to do anything for you. We thought the staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there.Our room wasn’t cleaned once. Not good value for money !

L’hôtel est incroyable, je suis venue seule et je me suis sentie en sécurité avec du personnel à l’écoute et bienveillant. La vue est a couper le souffle C’est en pleine nature donc il faut aimé ça ☺️

increibles vistas al mar desde mi habitacion y del restaurante. me gusto tmb la terraza que tienen a pie de playa. aunque no podia meter al mar por la alta marea.

hay que caminar un tramo para llegar, apesar de haber estado perdida para llegar, (falta algun letrero para indicar hacia donde esta el hotel ya que parece callejon sin salida) fueron a buscarnos. por fin cuando llegamos empezo a llover y me ayudaron a cargar mi maleta grande, bajo la lluvia hasta llegar al hotel.

This hotel gave us one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning. We spent hours simply enjoying the scenery from our room and watching the waves. The sunsets here were breathtaking — every evening felt like a postcard come to life, with incredible colors lighting up the sky. One of the most unique and charming parts of our stay was the monkeys that occasionally visited the hotel grounds. Watching them in their natural environment added a special touch to the experience and made our stay even more memorable. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the staff were kind and welcoming, and the location was simply perfect for anyone who loves nature and beautiful views. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for unforgettable ocean views and magical sunsets.

Las instalaciones muy subestándares con toallas con olor a humedad, y un baño que no separa el piso de la ducha del baño. Con olor a desagüe tapado. Me sentí absolutamente estafado por el precio pagado y por la calidad de la instalación.

Hôtel extraordinaire et très atypique. Toutes les chambres sont sur le flan de la montagne en pleine jungle. Vous pourriez même y croiser des singes (attention de ne rien laisser traîner et de fermer la porte fenêtre de votre chambre). Le personnel est disponible, souriant et hyper serviable. La nourriture est excellente. Je recommande vraiment...

Ce n'est pas que je n'ai pas apprécié mais il faut savoir qu'il faut emprunter systématiquement des escaliers où qu'on aille. Même pour accéder à l'hôtel mais si vous le demandez, du personnel gère tous vos bagages et de mains de fer !

Love the location and the staff was friendly. It sits right on top of a private beach so it’s lovely.

Staff could have been slightly more responsive at times. Also location is full of creatures so if you’re not a lizard person this will be a little uncomfortable for you 😅 The AC could have also been better

Great location and staff and one of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in. You sleep and wake to the sound of the ocean waves just below. It’s beautiful but beware there are many many steps till u reach your room. The restaurant and private beach make it well worthwhile. Highly recommend!

Sehr schlechter Weg zur Unterkunft, viele Stufen teilweise rutschig.

Despite our negetive experience, Franco one of the staff members was helpful and kind when my partner got Bali belly organising a doctor.

My partner and I got scabies, staph and Bali belly from staying here. As a women I felt incredibly unsafe with all male staff sometimes making innapropriate passing comments, this is a remote location and I really did not feel safe. Our bedding was not cleaned , towels and toilet paper were not replenished and there was no body wash or hand soap. Really disappointing experience given how much we paid. This place should not operate if they can not provide essential services for their guests. Not to mention the monkeys made It impossible to utilise the balcony.

De suite zelf was prima en het uitzicht (zeezicht) fantastisch! Het privestrand, bar en restaurant allemaal compact bijelkaar was ook fijn.

Alle trappen en treden! Niet gaan als je slecht ter been bent. De omgeving van de accommodatie vonden wij ook niet gezellig. Verder vonden wij het beslist geen 4 sterren waardig. Roomservice werkte slecht, personeel wel lief maar het ging allemaal ‘knullig’, het eten niet top. De aanwezige aapjes zijn wel leuk maar maken wel dat je constant op je spullen moet letten op balkon en strand.

Это ужас! Если хотите испортить свой отдых Вам сюда! Заявленные фото не соответствуют действительности. Нет подъезда к отелю с багажом пришлось долго к нему спускаться. При заселение обратила внимание что нет людей совсем. Номер старый, порванные шторы, кондиционер еле работал при заселение даже не был включен. Но после на веранду пришла стая обезьян их было примерно 15. И они искренни не понимали что я делаю в их номере 😅. Мне пришлось двери держать руками что бы они не проникли в номер в окна. Экстренно было принято решение переезжать в ночь искать новый отель. Деньги за 2 ночи оплаченные отказалась возвращать! Сказали вернут за одну ночь если я оставлю положительный отзыв, манипуляции на меня не очень действуют на 17 тыс я не обеднею! Я много путешествую по острову но это было полное разочарование. Из хорошего вид на океан но любоваться им можно только из душного номера.

Всё описала как есть. Не портите себе отдых, не тратьте деньги.

Esperienza molto deludente, soprattutto considerando il prezzo elevatissimo. Camera sporca, tende e lenzuola in condizioni pessime. Il bagno era indecente: pieno di zanzare, cattivo odore e perfino muffa/funghi sul soffitto. La vista sarebbe stata bella, ma inutilizzabile perché il balcone era costantemente occupato dalle scimmie e non si potevano aprire le finestre. Inoltre la struttura è scomoda da raggiungere. Decisamente sconsigliato

The location is very beautiful, right by an empty beach, with many monkeys in the area. The staff is also very friendly.

I was very disappointed with my stay and do not feel that this accommodation is worth the price at all. The room is old and poorly maintained, and the bathroom was not properly clean. Basic amenities like soap and shower gel were empty and were not refilled after cleaning. The shower itself is outdated, the water had an unpleasant smell, and there were even fungi growing on the ceiling of the shower cabin that had clearly not been removed. This was simply unhygienic and very unpleasant. The toilet also had a constant bad smell. In my opinion, the property is extremely overpriced and worth only a fraction of what is being charged. The path to the accommodation is long, involves many stairs, and is poorly lit in some areas. At night, it feels unsafe, especially when traveling alone as a woman. Additionally, the accommodation does not match the photos shown online and appears much more worn and neglected in reality. Overall, I felt very let down by this experience and do not think it justifies the price.

The view of the beach was amazing! Right on the beach.

For $450 AUD per night this was very disappointing. We didn't mind the 200m walk & stairs to the property (never take a suitcase here) but the room, restaurant area, food all very disappointing. The room was small and had nothing in it. 2 towels & some shampoo was all to be found (no face clothes, bathmat, extra bedding) 1 jug of water was provided & a cup. Termites were in the window frames, the plunge pool is more of a bath and very little care was taken to make the stay more comfortable. Some pillows in the outdoor Hammock, some fresh flowers, extra towels, free water. A lot of improvement required if charging $450 AUD per night. Would not stay again.

I truly believe this is one of the best places to stay in Uluwatu. It offers exceptional value for money, you simply won’t find such a magical view anywhere else at this price. I stayed in two different room types: the Family Suite and the Suite with a balcony. In my opinion, the Family Suite is definitely the best option. Overall, this is one of my favorite places in Uluwatu, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved the view, the room decor (the rooms are smaller), and the private beach that accompanied the hotel. The food was delicious as well and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The air conditioner in our first room was not working. The staff were very proactive and got someone to look at it right away, however it wasn't fixed. We spent our first night sweating in our sleep. Thankfully they moved us the next day, however the room was right next to the check in desk and we could hear every conversation outside our door. The walk from the drop off location to the hotel is very long and strenuous with bags, do not attempt without the help of the staff! Other than that, our stay was great.

This is a stunning property and very unique, I stayed in room 6 with the bath on the balcony which was AMAZING! The location was stunning, my room was wonderful. The staff will carry your bag down the stairs for you, (thank goodness)

Resturant area was not kept that clean, after rain and wind, would have liked to have been told about the beach bar when I arrived, but I discovered it as I walked down to the beach. I didn't realise it didn't have a pool. and I only was told about all the steps after booking and payment.

It was magical! You can hear the waves when you sleep, shower, upon waking up! You are one with nature! And the staff are very accommodating! Oh! And the private beach!

Be careful with the monkey. There's heeps. We couldn't enjoy our terrace for long, because of them. The room was smaller than expected.

Absolutely loved the hotel! The views were amazing and the room was so bohemian and lovely. There was a private access to a beautiful beach which was a big plus! The staff were very friendly and helpful- they helped to carry my heavy suitcase when arriving and leaving the hotel which was very kind!

Our room had an amazing view over a small local beach, the fact that you were so far in the environment that there was monkeys on our balcony was amazing!

Incredible hidden Gem

Incredible location & views. Steps away from a beautiful, private beach & a short drive away from the popular beaches. The staff was incredibly responsive & friendly - Franco is so kind and helpful! Overall a very unique experience that we recommend (just be aware of monkeys!)

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is a little remote but undeniably beautiful.

The room is in terrible shape. What you see in the picture is the inside of the bathroom. The ceiling is rotten and chunks of it continuously fall to the ground. The entire room smells of urine - "the monkeys", as the staff matter-of-factly stated. On top of that, one of the towels stank heavily - it was replaced upon request, but that is just not acceptable. Worst of all: cockroaches. They came out at night and crawled all over the room and balcony. At that point, we left immediately. We had originally booked for three nights. Upon a first complaint (lamenting the smell), the hotel had offered to relocate us to a different room for the following two nights. When we saw the cockroaches and ran, they were kind enough to give us a refund for those two nights. In sum, we paid for one night which we did not even spend at the hotel. I DO NOT recommend this hotel or at least the room we were in (Number 2) - STAY AWAY!
